Dear Patrike,

we have some DR5-Miners running - but we cannot choose Decred and don't get any turnover?
is there something wrong with the statistic Providers?
in the options-coins Decred is shown?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

Decred should be listed in Awesome Miner by default. Isn't it listed in the Coins tab?

Is it a correct understanding that Decred is listed in the Options dialog, Coins section? Is it also listed in the Coins tab of the main windows?

Please go to the Options dialog, Algorithms section and make sure "Decred" is enabled.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Team Black Miner!(Ethereum, Ethereum classic, Vertcoin, Zilliqa + dual 0.5% fee) on: September 23, 2021, 09:23:15 AM
We are adding an readonly api, and this is the kind of information you can use other tools for once the api is done. But first more bugfixing, tuning and improvements.
Hello,

When adding an API for TeamBlackMiner, please also include the PCI Bus ID for each of the GPUs you are reporting hashrate and other details for. This is how most mining management software identifies each GPU.

Thanks and keep up the good work!
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: September 21, 2021, 02:57:24 PM
Not seeing the per GPU efficiency.  Do I need to enable that somewhere before it will show up?
Please go to the Options dialog, Appearance setting, where you can find "Display power efficiency". This will display it both in the miner list (a feature that isn't new) and now also per GPU in the GPU tab.

Hey Patrik,

can you please look over Team Black Miner: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5358334.0 and maybe integrate it into AM? Thanks Smiley
Thanks for the feedback. This one will soon be added - I've been keeping an eye on the development of Team Black Miner since last week as it looks very promising. Right now it doesn't provide any monitoring interface (API), but it sounds like it will be added soon.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: September 07, 2021, 08:47:30 AM
Dear patrike,
I accidentally discovered that Avesome's Linux client writes the miner's log (console_output.txt) to a file on disk. To the same directory where the miner is located. OMG but why not in the folder like /var/log? It's Linux, not Windows. Most people run Linux from a USB flash drive. And I run from a USB stick. All common logs are written to the /var/log which was directed to RAM disk (tmpfs) - this ensures the long life of the USB flash drive.
But your method will lead to the sudden death of USB flash drives on all farms.
Please urgently change the location of the miner log file, for example var / log.
Thanks for the feedback - I will of course look into and improve this.

hello,

another new problem with AM and braiins on Antminer
some weeks ago i could set pools via Web - now it wont work anymore. i get "Authentication failure" - WebApi user and pass is 100% ok

any way to figure out whats the problem? cant reflash 50+ devices
Thanks for your report.

Performing operations on Antminers running Braiins may not work as they have their own ways of doing things and this can change with new releases of their firmware. Fully supporting Antminers running Braiins isn't a priority at the moment as we have our own firmware as well.

It's however a bit strange if a feature stopped working if you didn't make any changes to the firmware on the miner. Maybe you can send me your Awesome Miner log file and let me know the IP address of the miner where the operation failed? Thanks!
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: September 03, 2021, 02:47:38 PM
Hi Patrike,

some problems:

if i use dark mode, in the pools section per miner, the coins name is written in black, i think it must be in white.
Are you planning dark mode for the graph tab?
And the GPU Clocking Tab looks not so nice.

I canīt see all real groups when i setup a rule. I can choose all virtual groups, all single miner and from the normal groups i only see 5 of 9 groups. There is bug. I canīt see one toplevel group with 3 sublevel groups in it.

Is it possible to have the ability to fix the order of the miners?

And double click on gpu tab not working every time. Mostly i double click on the gpu - AM switch to a random gpu in the gpu clocking tab - i go back to gpu tab and double click again on the same gpu and now AM switch to gpu clocking tab to the right gpu.

Zergpool balance is show 0 from time to time.

Balance for Nanopool monero is sometimes wrong calculated (problem is very old) -> i have 0.8 xmr pool balance and AM show over 800€.

Can you add coinex.com exchange balance?

Thanks
Thanks for the list of feedback. I will make sure the Dark Mode is getting improved and correct the group selection for the rules in the next release. I will also look into the other points you bring up.

Hi Patrike, can you pls. add a rule action where user can apply a set of active online services (or simple switch on/off some services). So user can apply a low energy algos set. For example: at the night, whenn solar panels not deliver energy. Regards.

You can make 2 profit profiles and can switch it via rule. Make 1 for high energy algos and 1 for low energy algos.

But sure i am agree, switch off and on some online services via rule would be nice.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will consider this, although the workaround is good for many scenarios as well.

Memory Temps added now , great job, Now Awesome Miner is legendary!!

Thanks for your nice feedback.

The feature to display memory temperature is however not fully supported on nVidia yet - but the plan is to improve this as well.
In Both of my rigs its working perfectly with NVIDIA cards and Windows
Thanks for the update. For a few specific mining software, we use the nVidia memory temperature reported by them. The goal is however to be able to display this no matter which specific mining software you are running.

Patrike, can you please implement a easy way to execute a linux commands from AM profit profile. At the moment i have a problem if i use miners command --lock-cclock
After using this command and later after switching to other mining programm GPU core clock still have value from last --lock-cclock  call. But not ervery mining programm have option to lock core clock. If once core clock was locked, i cant change values with simple overclocking. This state must be reseted. Only a way to use  a "nvidia-smi -rgc"  command before or after mining process. But at the moment AM not have possibility to run commands on Linux side without opening separate cmd process window. Even this command:
plink -no-antispoof -ssh user@192.168.188.89 -pw myPassword sudo nvidia-smi -rgc  (plink is a part of putty installation package)
not work from "ProfitProfile->Batch commands" section, but work perfect from cmd window.

I have try to execute a simple windows command: C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe to test if something happens in ProfitProfile->Batch commands. Its happens nothing. CMD window will not be opened. For which commands type this "batch commands fields" is? Cant find documentation for that.

Regards.
Hi,
Please note that the "Batch commands" for a Profit Profile are configured per Algorithm. It isn't applied for all algorithms. When I try it for a specific algorithm, I can simply enter "cmd.exe" and it will launch a command window when I start the miner with this specific algorithm. Can you please double check that it was configured for the correct algorithm?

For nvidia-smi I think it relates to that it must be started with sudo, but your workaround should probably work as well given that it's actually executed for the specific algorithm.
Of course i use "Batch commands" on algorithm level in "Profit profile". In my situation happens nothing after adding simple call of cmd.exe.
Also nothing happens if i try to call cmd.exe from "Managed profit miner properties"->"Command Line"->"Execute additional commands" and nothing if i call from "Profit profile propertis"->"Batch commands"->"Execute additional commands"
I dont know whats wrong with my AM. its looks so simple und logicaly to add this functionality, but for me simple not work.... And in log file nothing.
Thanks for the update. Please send me the Awesome Miner and Remote Agent log file for this case (via e-mail). I will look into what the issue might be. Thanks!
