Can you please add the x16rv2 pool from nicehash, when I try to add it manually it always adds the NEW x16rv2.usa-new.nicehash.com:3379 I can't connect to this pool. if I use x16rv2.usa.nicehash.com:3379 from a batch file it connects correctly.
Thanks in advance
Thanks. It turns out that "-new" works for all pools except x16rv2. As Nicehash closed down the old platform now it looks like "-new" isn't needed for any of the algorithms. I will make an update for this and also include the new x16rv2 pool. There will be a new release made available later today.

Hi,
Can you please add Algorithm: cryptonight-zum-lite
Thanks in advance
Thanks for the suggestion. I can add the algorithm in the next release, but do you know any mining software that support it today? It looks like SrbMiner might get it in the next version. XMRig XMRig-AMD XMRig-NVIDIA XMRigCC I wasn't able to figure out the algorithm command line for XmRig based on the documentation available. Is the algorithm known under another name than "zum" as well? Please let me know and I will of course add it. Thanks!

Hello Patrike, it has been a great effort lately with new functions and you have also dedicated a lot of time to the Asic, it seems fine.
I bring back two old requests of mine, to see if I can explain them well
In the Miner's statistics, we see the coins, the pool, we see if a coin or some auto exchange has been mined for example 50% of the time. That seems fine to me, but I'm still missing data. How many times did that RIG change auto profit, both in total for the day, and for each currency or Al-go. If I detect that a coin is 20% mined and has 50 auto profit changes, surely I am not interested, or I have to change my settings, or even detect if an al-go falls too much, although for that we also have notifications . The truth is that data for each currency, for each al-go or pool, would be very good to know. Especially when you have many rigs and have references from other machines, or if you see that for a currency that has occupied 5% of the mining has changed many times, it would be a volatile currency. For me it is essential that data in the statistics of the rig. I've been telling you for a long time.
Another function that I also requested and that I still need is the function of coloring coins or having something that changes color. why? I can put in Green those that I use or are well, I can put in Red those that are monopolized by auto exchanges and I am not worth entering. I can put in yellow those that do not have exchange, I can put in orange those that have a problem etc ... And just by looking at the list of coins quickly see which one may interest me to check or if it is new to review it, or if I had no exchange check it, or if it is monopolized by Auto exchanges do not look at it anymore but sometimes, one does not remember and check again and again the same currency over the weeks.
They are easy customizations and I think it would give even more useful to the list of COins, and knowing the number of times it changes for Currency, Al-go etc ... It is also essential to evaluate whether that currency serves me or not.
it is not necessary that the entire row of the coin and its information is colored, it can be a simple square of color next to the name or something similar, which will not affect the texts and their visibility
Thanks for the feedback and additional details. I do have a note about your requests and I agree that both would make sense. The coloring of coins should be quite fast to implement for example, so I will consider that one for the near future.

wanna copy awesome miner to new computer
old machine: updated version to latest, closed awesome miner and copied configdata.xml to temp folder on new pc
new machine: after installing awesome miner i start awesome miner and it works (but for sure without any miners and/or config)
than i deleted the config file on new computer (%apdata%awesomeminer) and copied over the config file from old computer -> now awesome miner dont show up...awesome starts and is shown in task bar but dont open.
i can open the options from task bar - but i cant open the awesome miner window?! whats wrong?
It might be that the original Awesome Miner system had dual monitors or another screen resolution, and the window is loaded on a position where you cannot see it on the new system. Please open the Windows Task Manager. In the first tab, expand the Awesome Miner node and right click on the sub node. Try Maximize or any of the other options available.

PAtrike there is some function or rule to launch the Etherpill in the algos that I need, and that when I change somebody it will be deactivated. Or you recommend that I start it with a task scheduler and always be present in the rig whatever it is that mine.
There could be an option where, for example, I said, in this folder is the etherpill, and then in the windows when configuring the miner and such, an option to mark it to load it before mining. And when you have finished mining, delete it from memory, for example, as you do with the reset of OC between profit changes
I have seen that Etherpill can give some more hash in other al-gos
There are two ways you can launch EthLargementPill 1) In the Profit Profile Properties, you can configure "Execute batch commands" for each individual algorithm, for example for Ethereum. 2) If you want it to be running all the time for all algorithms, you can open the Properties of the miner, Command line section, where you also can define batch commands to execute when starting the miner. Please note that it should be configured to run as Administrator ("Execute batch commands with Administrator privileged"). You can also use "Execute additional commands after stopping the mining software" to stop this process, where you specify the executable without file extension, for example: taskkill /im ETHlargementPill-r2

@patrike Hi boss, can you add in next release option in Information tab to display Efficiency in BTC/Watt And another suggestion for display coin information on bottom of general window. Maybe you can display information about Network dificulty, hashrate and maybe you can display exchange rate from three biggest exchanges for the coin.
Regards
Thanks - I like those suggestions and they are all noted. I will try to add at least some of them in the very near future.

Hi I have been using Awesome miner on my GPU mining rigs which have Windows 10 on all of them. I had no problem to update them to the latest version of the Awesome miner before, but when you released version 7.0, I have not been able to upgrade them. The current version is 6.9.4 and if I click on check for update, it shows me version 7.0.2 is available. When I click on update, the progress bar gets complete and Awesome miner reopens automatically. But it again shows the current version is 6.9.4. l also tried to run the Awesome miner as an admin on all the rigs, but it didn't help. Please help me
Hi, Thanks for your question. Have you tried to reboot the computer? It might be that you have pending Windows updates about to be installed, and this can prevent other installers from running correctly. If the reboot didn't resolve the problem, could you upgrade by manually downloading and running the installer from the web site? Even if you download it manually and run, it will still be an upgrade where all settings are kept. Please let me know if this resolved the upgrade issue. Thanks! I have no antivirus installed or active on the systems. I have rebooted them several times. I have so many saved options, if I export the settings from the options, will they be saved? You can go to the Backup toolbar in the main window where you will find the Backup and Restore buttons - in case you want to create a copy of your settings. For more details, please see: https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000098571-awesome-miner-configuration-filePlease try to uninstall the software (via Control Panel) and then download and install the latest version from the web site. All configuration will be kept by doing these two steps.

Hi Patrik,
we have a problem in the web-interface since the update to the version 7. if you choose "show offline miners" in the Filter of Miners, all the groups are showing and you have to expand them manualy - in the older versions you just saw the miners wich were offline?!
BR Ralf
Hi Ralf, Thanks for your feedback on this. I will investigate and get back to you on this. There is a general concept where a larger number of miners will result in that all groups will not expand automatically. As that would just make it more difficult to browse when you have a large number of groups and miners. However, when you apply a filter the number of miners can be quite small and then it can still make sense to automatically expand the groups.

hi...
is there a chance to only "read only mode" for rigs that are in my network but managed by another awesome miner?
my friends rigs are managed by himself, but i need to be able to monitor the rigs for stability (he doesnt monitor and most time his awesome miner pc is shut down). i tried some time ago with one rig but it feels like it doesnt work properly (no autostart after reboot and/or mining process stopped without giving error messages) - maybe cause my awesome miner was online and his was not?!
Thanks for the suggestion. It currently not supported to have two Awesome Miner main application connecting to and monitor the same Remote Agent. The reason is that Awesome Miner sends configuration to a Remote Agent, and the agent respond with monitoring information per Managed Miner. Even if there was a read-only mode where Awesome Miner didn't send any configuration or commands to a specific Remote Agent, this agent would still report the information per miner. The miners reported by the Remote Agent may not match the miners in your Awesome Miner application (if it was another Awesome Miner that provided the configuration/miners). There are currently no concept where Remote Agent can instruct Awesome Miner to add/remove miners, so there needs to be some redesign in order to support this scenario. i only need something like in the "external miner" section...only API infos about hashrate and temps for example. with the numbers i can create my own rules to get notified if something is wrong. i dont need to view what mining software is active nor what pool etc I understand your point and I also agree it would be nice to have a feature like this. It's however still a bit complicated as a Remote Agent can report information from multiple miners at the same time. If Awesome Miner has a single Managed or External Miner pointing to a Remote Agent, and the remote Agent provides information from two running Managed Miners - one CpuMiner-Opt and one CcMiner - Awesome Miner wouldn't understand what to display if those miners were originally defined on another system.

coinscalculator is dead?
They should add more data sources.
coinscalculator error 502
502 - Web server received an invalid response while acting as a gateway or proxy server. There is a problem with the page you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. When the Web server (while acting as a gateway or proxy) contacted the upstream content server, it received an invalid response from the content server.
I'm also getting this error from CoinCalculators.io right now - hopefully it's only a temporary issue.
