Finally got my 0.5.1 wallet synchronised, just as the Polo DDOS attack was in progress, so couldn't at that time withdraw my Sia onto the wallet  Never a dull moment in the wonderful world of crypto  Having now withdrawn some Sia onto the wallet, the question now occurs to me: how do I back up the wallet? As far as I can see there's no wallet.dat file. Here's a snapshot of my roaming folder:  The only info that changes seems to be DevTools Extensions which updates to the current date/time whenever I close the wallet. Do I simply need to make a backup copy of the roaming folder or is there another file somewhere that I need to back up and if so what its name/default location? I have been enjoying the site for a long time now but recently I am seeing that some models are just becoming restless and is blocking as well as banning viewers if they do not send them tips soon after entering. We are not given time to complete a deposit before tipping either.
I was in that room. You were not banned "for not tipping soon after entering". You and several others were blinded after sitting around for several minutes without saying anything at all, not even a "hello", (Tiffany does the same) following the blinding you started complaining about it and making a "big deal" about getting blinded and making comments about "why would I tip if I can't see you", "you didn't give me time to deposit", and I can't recall if it was you in particular or another but "I'll go tip <LinkToAnotherModelChannel> instead she doesn't blind me" and then the ban was issued. And some of them are just blatantly setting up a goal like this:  I have no objection against any models out there but my main concern is that some of them should be given at least some training regarding the new payment gateway. While not necessarily desirable that is nothing overly unusual. I frequently see on other sites "Tip XX tokens if you (like what you see)/(think I'm sexy/cute), etc" |

The second problem is that you are citing some pretty old information about how Sia works, and you are missing some important details that help bring the system together and secure it.
Is there a current and complete white paper? I seem to recall mention of work on a new white paper but it has not been released yet. There's currently work being put into improving the gateway code to improve bandwidth usage when syncing since numerous people were getting stuck and could not catch up as well as numerous improvements to the renter/host system to improve scalingto large numbers of files. |

Per GB or TB would be good to know.
I read that you need to have 95% uptime etc, but I can't find any number for returns.
You can find all of the current hosts prices at http://siapul.se/page/network however lower priced hosts are more likely to be chosen and I think any host priced at or above 500 is ignored |

I am on version 3.3 still (havent opened it for a few months)
v0.5.0 has support for siafunds in the GUI Is there a particular process for me to upgrade? I would hang on for a couple of days until the official 0.5.0 version is released. Everytime I try to earn bitcoins  . Any more unclaimed documents? I do not think that there is any unfinished documents remained except company B which is already with Gildarts. so this project is almost ended. @bitspill , is there any plans for a similar documents soon to be written ? Per my spreadsheet, B-Company, Cannon-Company, and June-1944 need to be typed. Gildarts just finished Cannon-Co, and is partially through B-Co erikalui is working on June-1944 So that takes care of all the documents, there is nothing else to retype. As for new documents, I do not have any new ones at this time nor do I expect any soon. What I was considering though is now taking these documents that have been retyped already uploading the texts then having you guys take the contents and put them into another file something like a a table/spreadsheet/calendar/timeline/map based on the dates/times/locations mentioned. That's a ways out though, I need to work out the details first. |

Yes, the time activity updates is the same for everyone (well maybe a few fractions of a second difference) no matter when you signed up or first logged in. The only difference from what's displayed and your clock at home would be timezones so if you properly convert it it'll be the same. |
