3641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on a cell phone on: January 08, 2020, 01:49:25 PM
Stanford grads find a way to mine on a cell phone.
500K+ downloads. Protected Google app.
Earn everyday.
weminepi.com
I will advise you to just forget about it.

Mining on a phone is not good and even if you do and take the risk of making your beautiful phone pass through heat it’s still not worth it because the reward isn’t much.

I have tried to mine with my phone once, a 2gb RAM phone with a CPU of 1.3 GHz, and my phone froze up and stopped working and just kept heating up to the extent I was just freaking confused and thought it’s going to blow and then I started to hit the power button and luckily for me the phone switched off and I left it to cool off before restarting it again and it was good. Then I checked if I have gotten any reward from the platform and I got zero, lol.

So, it is not worth it, unless this one will be different. But my advice is that if you want to mine, buy a computer and set-up your miner.

I don’t believe that the adoption for Bitcoin is low this year. You’re saying that because the price of Bitcoin this year is low, well, you’re wrong. Have you taken the time to check the Bitcoin low prices starting from the start till now? If you have done that then by now you would know that the adoption of Bitcoin has grown wide and a lot of people are now into it.

The huge increase you saw in 2017 was just a bubble and the price is now back to balanced. But that’s not the end there’s still going to be another increase, and that is how it’s going to continue to do. A lot of people now knows about Bitcoin and that’s because of all the things that happened in 2017, with Bitcoin reaching the ATH price.
3643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 07, 2020, 06:49:33 PM
Honestly, the year they won a ring there was Tyson Chandler that guarded the post and grabbed boards, he wasn't amazing on the offensive side of things but Mavs knew that Dirk wasn't an amazing defender so they paired Dirk with Tyson Chandler and that made the duo work so well and get a ring, Tyson got the defense, Dirk got the offense and they both made two whole players.

Plus, back in the day USA wasn't ready for European style of play yet, now there are tons of Europeans and Doncic is showing how even a young kid from Europe could become MVP levels of talent in NBA at a very young age but back in Dirks days his "shot" was unstoppable, nobody knew what to do when that happened, dude scored 5-10 times a game like that without any problems because Americans had no defense for it.
3644  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 07, 2020, 05:19:00 PM
Nah, banking is not going to end, I know that for sure. Every countries are not going to be using the same cryptocurrency, it is all going to be different. China is already creating their own cryptocurrency and we all know that it’s going to be a centralized cryptocurrency and banks will be among the top organizations that will control it.

If other countries start creating their own cryptocurrency it’s going to be the same thing, so I don’t see banks taking their hands of from our finance, they will always be in control. But there will still be decentralized digital currencies/assets like Bitcoin.
3645  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 07, 2020, 02:05:15 PM
Whats Ur take on that?

War situation USA Trump Economy and crypto Currrency?

Do u Think that current situation have any impact on crypto?
War is not a good thing and I’m not hoping for such thing to take place, not even the so called World WarIII, these things are not good.

Though I don’t see any relation between cryptocurrency and our economy, if there is war it won’t really affect Bitcoin, except that there will be a decrease in Bitcoin because people that are in those warring countries will begin to sell their assets to sustain themselves, except people that has enough money to the extent they don’t need to sell their assets to assist their living. So I’m guessing it will affect Bitcoin in price, but a drop in price doesn’t mean that it is over in Bitcoin.
3646  Economy / Economics / Re: Grandma tell you to keep old coin in piggy bank on: January 07, 2020, 04:49:43 AM
Brruuuh, I don’t really get what you’re saying here Grin. Lol, if you’re saving a coin in your piggy bank and you’re saving for so many years, let’s say twenty to thirty, it’s definitely going to rust before you know what’s happening.

So, I guess this is just a quote. I wouldn’t tell my children to be saving money in piggy banks, there are lots of ways they can save value and also make interest. I will advise them to save their money and invest it. I will make them understand everything about investment and how it works, and the risks that are involved in it. They can invest in things like Bitcoin and Gold, and other assets and even bonds.

It is always cool to see windice pass a milestone and 280 million bets is amazing, whenever you guys pass a new milestone I can't but stop to think the times we were waiting months for 100 million and now you are going to do another 100 million a lot faster (haven't checked the time differences).

However, do you really think that each 10 million makes sense to make a whole image and then share here? I mean you have 28 of those 10 millions already, will you make 290 million as well? 310 million? 360 million? I doubt that makes sense, at the end of the day you can do 300 million since that is something important but doing each 10 million doesn't make sense anymore. I suggest after reaching 300 million which will happen in 3 weeks most, why not start to do it at least 25 million at a time instead of 10 million?
3648  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 06, 2020, 03:32:06 PM
Not only Vince broke the record with playing in 4 different decades but he also has the record with 22 seasons played as well, I mean he could have joined the league in 2000 and would only be in 3 decades with 8 more years required for the 4th so being able to play in 4 different decades is a record that is basically a bit of luck, anyone who was drafted in 09 could also potentially break the record by playing in 2030 but I doubt anyone would have that kind of longevity Vince has 22 years! That is more than Kareem who used to have the most games played and so forth records (dunno if he still has them) but what Lareem managed is totally different since dude also played 4 years of college basketball as well before he joined, if he didn't do that and joined right after high school like many people used to do, he would had 24 years and easily broke Vince's current 22 record.
3649  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: January 06, 2020, 07:31:19 AM
It is a faucet for ducks sake,  you can't expect to make fat bucks if you already have no money. That logic applies to every goddamn business in life.

The more money you have, the more you make.
It is not really a small amount when you do it multiple times a day, let's calculate around the world wages and how much you can make from freebitcoin and see if it really worths it for some people or not.

I know it could be lesser for some people but to me the lowest I make per roll is 162 satoshi, sure that requires a bit of commitment to reach there (I at least hope Cheesy ) but the imaginary person we talk here also does this as a side-job anyway so he must be at least as dedicated to this as I am.

162 satoshi per roll means 1944, almost 2k satoshi per day, now some days could be more but some days could be less so lets average around 2k satoshi per day, for 30 days a month that is 60k satoshi. That is around 5 bucks right now, you may think that may not worth it for you and most of the time you are right but for example people in Venezuela wouldn't mind getting that much money right now right? Or people in Zimbabwe? Or Georgia, or northern Cyprus? Cuba?

I mean these are all extra money that would help them, on top of that they would get a lot of reward points for doing so many free rolls and many lottery tickets as well so that 5 bucks is not the money they will %100 get all the time, that is the bare bottom, they can get on top of that depending on luck.
3650  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Trend for 2020. on: January 05, 2020, 05:50:36 PM
Everyone talks about how the new high hashrate would equal to bitcoin price going up. Lets take a look at that logic, the more hashrate means there are more machines working and potentially maybe even mean more miner individuals as well, the higher that goes the higher cost goes, the moment halving happens there will be less mined but the hashrate still goes up, so that means price has to go up in order to cover that expense.

Now, let's tackle why it doesn't have to happen (it still might, but just how it may not as well); reality is there could be whales who will sell and stop the miners from increasing the price, there could be miners who keep on selling all they have saved to make other miners lose money and drop the hashrate, there could be news that somewhere important bans bitcoin, there could be a million reason why instead of miners not selling low and waiting, some other group may end up selling and cover that difference.
3651  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: January 02, 2020, 07:42:37 AM

It would also help if anyone made a larger deposit/withdrawal recently, which might lead to the cold storage.
About the large withdrawal/deposits, BitDice is known for this. If you will read the past pages on this thread, you'll actually see whales that have wagered a big amount which means that they've deposited it.

i havent back read yet to see what your saying but i know that bitdice is now one of the biggest casino's these days therfor i think they have a large bankroll to offer so we shouldnt worry about depo or withdrawing large amount of funds  but only they can limit certain bets if they cant afford what you will be winning on a certain payout . if someone waggers big it does not mean that they also depo big but some can depo small and can wagger large enough using a good waggering strategy  .
All of gambling sites do have that particular bet limit but most of the time these limits arent really that a huge concern for most gamblers since not all would have the capacity on having a huge bet from time to time.
As to say that Bitdice do have records on paying out lots of huge wins without any problems or question asked.Unlike on others where you need some verification or blah blah before you can take out your winning.
I don't know bitdice's max bet and I never had enough money to actually test the max bet of any website but I can assure you for all the small amounts I requested to withdraw they have done their job perfectly, I did had one time that took longer than usual but I suppose I was using VPN so they wanted to make sure everything was normal and they did their due diligence (which I actually liked because it could have been somebody else instead of me) aside from that one time every single time I wanted to withdraw they actually were super fast as well.

Bitdice has 190+ pages on bitcointalk right now, do you really think a website with this many pages and this many users that talk about it would have gotten away with any scam if they were not as legit as it gets? They would have been stoned to death if they were shady but they are not.
3652  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 31, 2019, 02:04:22 PM
It looks like the 5k people are winning this years bet, we knew that would happen weeks ago but we weren't sure if bitcoin would have a surge in price or not and it didn't, it stayed exactly the same for weeks and now we are finishing with under 7.5k (there is still some time) and considering they are not the top bet right now and people who wagered on 10k is the most wagered one, I am pretty confident that 5k people will get a good return on their bet, not only from the other small and not important many other bets but mainly from the 10k people who were right 6 months of the whole year but not at the end of the year which is sad for them and I can understand why they could be upset but that still gives the 5k people a lot of profit on their bet.
3653  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: December 19, 2019, 02:53:58 AM
Let's not forget the faucet abusers back in the day, those dudes were claiming faucet every hour for 24 hours straight for days and even weeks/months until they got banned and that would yield a lot of profit for them. I personally am over the average as well but I have been around for years now so I can say it is obvious why I claimed so much, I didn't claimed that frequently ever but here and there faucet claims for the past 5 years equals to a lot of claims.

I made more money thanks to affiliate honestly so I didn't cared about the faucet that much but I can totally see the average being 0.005, this website literally gives away free money so a lot of people know about this and some even insists on staying and claiming for a long period of time. Then there is reward points which makes it even higher to claim.
3654  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: December 19, 2019, 02:09:58 AM
There is still a week left for the Christmas itself, I understand that some places started their Christmas thing a bit early but that doesn't mean everywhere has to start that early as well. I feel like windice will probably have another competition, maybe a bit more expensive this time instead of just 0.3 bitcoins (like maybe 1 bitcoin) but that doesn't mean that they won't do a promotion.
Because the advertising effect is better when you as a casino are among the first who launch (or tease) an event. People recognize things that happen first better. Everyone remembers who stepped first at the moon, the name of the second guy is not known to many Wink
Christmas related marketing is not always that easy for these companies. They trying to make you gamble, it is not easy to giveaway something and then try to take it back. Whats the purpose of a casino?

Make you gamble and lose if possible, I mean that is how they survive, if they don't support you gambling then they won't have a chance to make money, if they don't hope you lose they have no chance of making money, in the end whatever marketing they do it has to be focused on you gambling and losing money.

So, when they do "Christmas" related marketing which usually is regarded as giving gifts, it is very difficult for casinos. How could they give you a gift when they hope you to lose? That is why I seriously think that competition is the best way to go, at least they "might" make you lose and give you less rewards.
3655  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: December 03, 2019, 07:44:19 PM
When does cashout option stop appearing btw? I did check in at 81st min to see (not that I'd have cashed out, I never do and you have to bet for late goals with liverpool!) but there wasn't any such option. Or is that simply not available for freebets?

Freebets never have the cashout option available. Otherwise, as long as a win for your bet is slightly possible, a cashout usually is offered. If you had a single bet on Liverpool to win worth 10 mBTC, and it was 1-1 in the 85th minute, you might have had a cashout of maybe 0.5 mBTC available.

The cashout option seems decent at times, but I personally think the offers are usually too low to be worth cashing out.

Thanks for the clarify! I had a parlay stretched out over a week but never bothered to check how it looked like after 2 legs were won, and it was only when the game looked like it was headed for a draw that I went to check. I was supposed to win 79 mBTC had they won, so yeah if the cashout is only 5% it's simply not worth it.

I'm probably going to be a lot more conservative with my next freebet I guess;)
Usually when you get a freebet it is always wiser to bet as little as possible and as long as the rules allow you do the minimum so you can get the money in money form. Whats the point of having a 1+ bitcoin result for example (making it up of course) if you are not going to get it, I could have a parlay that gives me 100000 bitcoin or 0.1 bitcoin, as long as I can't win any of them they worth equally zero.

However, if you make one that is more guaranteed to win that means you could at least have a chance to win something. I personally go for the teams I know will win and try to go for known leagues as well instead of more obscure leagues, hell usually go for other sports than soccer as well, sometimes they are more known and more guaranteed than soccer too.
3656  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitgoin is going to moon 1.5.2021 it will hit 236K on: November 16, 2019, 07:38:12 PM
It is a crazy prediction like you said, because I have not seen the formula that you have used for you to arrive at those figure, and if bitcoin is not going to be artificially pumped or manipulated FOMO which I doubt that even with FOMO, that can even pump to that considering the population of people that are using bitcoin, or have you forgotten that all these figures that you have quoted here can only happen through people, which is going to be when they put money into the market, and the people that can put the big amount of money that will be needed to make such thing happen is going to be big financial institution, so I don’t see that prediction happening except maybe henceforth, we begin to get a very big adoption from some of these financial institutions more.

3658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: November 04, 2019, 01:46:58 PM
We can only say that bitcoin will never replace gold, but bitcoin can still function as gold in the near future and if you look at the nature of gold too right now, don’t forget that holding gold as an asset is not only in the form of physical asset alone, but now you have digital gold which you see many people even holding more of digital gold right now than the physical one, and even though bitcoin has not physical appearance, but its digital appearance overtime is more than enough to actually make it grow in future and become more popular than the digital gold which definitely will be able to stand as store of value, but that would still not make the normal gold that we know not to be gold. It will still be very much relevance, just the way fiat also would, but we will still have bitcoin more popular than them.
3659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: November 01, 2019, 01:23:13 PM
I think this was just one of the increases, there will be another increase not too long from now, I don't know when and I don't know how and I have certainly no clue why people say there is one when it happens (people make up reasons all the time whenever bitcoin goes up or down) but I know that the price will go up once again.

Looking at the difficulty and the hashrate there is absolutely no way bitcoin price stays the same when halving happens, there is two possibilities either the big miners will mine no matter what while making a loss in order to get small miners away and make them stop their equipment or the price will definitely go up a lot.

If the price doesn't go up and big miners mine for a loss then small miners will only close their equipment while its unprofitable and will open back up as soon as its profitable so I feel like price going up is a more realistic approach.
3660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Best to Safely Store Your Coins and ALTs! Bitcoin is treasure; Alts are too. on: October 31, 2019, 07:48:49 PM
First mistake is to ever even keep our coin on an exchange, so that should first of all be discouraged, and people should stay away from exchange wallet if they really want to have a secured coins, but when it comes to hardware wallet, i think for now, it is still the most secured wallet which is quite very cheap to me, although it depend on the amount kept there, because it would not be worth it to buy hardware wallet for an amount that is even  lower than the cost of the wallet itself.

There are still other ways of keeping ones coins too anyway, I think it is still safe too to actually keep money on a desktop wallet, but the one that has its own private key for us to be able to make recovery at any time. That is the only way that we can make a full recovery.
