2661  Economy / Economics / Re: Xi Jinping Beats Crypto, Bitcoin Mine Closes on: June 16, 2021, 10:14:04 AM
China's crackdown on cryptocurrency (crypto) trading is getting worse. This week, authorities in China's northwestern Qinghai province and a district in Xinjiang ordered cryptocurrency mining projects to close. According to Reuters, the Qinghai office of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology ordered a ban on new cryptomining projects and ordered existing ones to be closed in the province by Wednesday (9/6/2021) if this continues to see if prices will weaken again. ...
Your topic is totally different from what you have written in your post. Your topic says that Bitcoin mining has closed in China, but your write-up says that it’s just one province in china that ordered Bitcoin mining to be stopped. So how does that affect miners in general? You would only say that when it is something that is being carried out in the whole of China.

For now it is not, so I believe that Bitcoin mining will still be going strong there. I don’t know the reason why that particular province have decided to ban bitcoin mining, but maybe the miners can move to other locations where it’s allowed.
2662  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: June 15, 2021, 08:40:44 PM
It is about the same for wealthy people as well, the option is there and I agree with you but almost no rich person takes that option. I have a friend who is a big time millionaire, he deposits 100 thousand dollars each time he wants to gamble and takes out whatever is left, if he won he takes out his profit and if he lost he takes out whatever is left, or sometimes nothing is left.

Now this guy can gamble 10 bucks per bet, or even 50 bucks per bet and he would not lose all of his money, because it would be not that much of a problem even if he lost almost all his bets, 10 bucks per bet would require 10000 bets to lose it all without a single win, that is where you are right, you would not lose it all. However this dude gambles with 200-300 even sometimes 500 bets and that is why it ends up being like a few hour fun for him, and when he wins he wins a huge amount as well. That is how wealthy people gamble.
Not all poor people gamble the same and not all rich people gamble the same, there are poor people who wager more than some wealthy people, and there are wealthy people who are addicted to gambling as a side hustle and end up losing it all.

I know that there is nothing wrong with gambling what you can afford, but not everyone does that. So someone who has 10 thousand dollars could still gamble 1k per bet, sure it would be quick bet and he would lose very quickly but he could still do that, hell he could bet all 10k in one time offer as well. Whereas someone with a million dollars could drop 100-200 dollar bets just in case.

This is why we would never know who is rich and who is not rich, sure your friend gambled that way but not every person gambles the same and that is why we have so many different types of people in the gambling world.

What a massive weekend of sports!

This Brazillian customer was one of many to get a heap of big multi bets this weekend.. but at nearly 500x Odds, figured we will start with him!
WHO IS THIS GUY? I mean wow, this dude is always up here, dude ends up winning big win after big win after big win and it is not like a few of them neither, dude ends up with plenty of them as well and in the end it looks like he is not going to stop, he is still making money.

I really hope that he is saving some of that aside and not gambling with all of that, we wouldn't want something like that to happen anytime soon because it is really something sad when someone finally finds the money they always needed and then suddenly loses it the same way they earn it. I did something like that, not gambling but I saved some money finally to get a new PC, but instead of buying a PC I ended up being in a new project and worked really hard but we lost it, so I know how hard it is to finally have some money and lose it right away, I hope this brazillian dude can save some aside and use it smartly.
2664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: June 15, 2021, 06:52:31 PM
Those who were selling now are the day traders who've been waiting for small spikes, but they're not actually helping because the market was still recovering from slight falls.
I believe there are different kind of people who are selling right now for their day to day requirements and this way we need to include bitcoin miners as the first one in this list. People who have bought below $30k by the times of earlier days of this year also, might be selling bitcoins by this time and the last significant amount of people who bought around 50k and 60k and to cut their losses might be selling right now even for losses to avoid big losses in the case of bitcoin face another round of sudden chaos.

But overall, after Elon Musk's recent tweet, we are seeing bitcoin prices trading above $40k levels which means there are less number of people who are continuously selling and more people started again to buy and hold which is the scenario I have been expecting for last 2 to 3 weeks and that finally arrived to take place.
2665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Control your trading emotional outburst and get yourself together! on: June 13, 2021, 08:22:11 PM
Don't panic, everyone lose their money in trading so you are not only facing this but how soon you understand what is the mistake done by you and rectify that in your next trade is the key point. If you continuously keep failing in trading then just take a break and then comeback when you ready, just keep in mind that don't over do it so you can avoid too much stress.
There is literally no way one can rectify a mistake they didn't make in the first place. I don't think buying BTC @$55k-$60k was a mistake at all because the market was bullish and expectations were reaching $100k. A mistake would have been if someone invested in a shit coin and expected it to grow but BTC is the best possible asset to invest so it wasn't a mistake but a misfortune.

It would not be astonishing that a ton of individuals are encountering fit of anxiety and much more regrettable having self-destructive contemplations as I am composing this. So what I did now was to leave the coin till at whatever point it chooses to increment in esteem then I sell. I wasn't influenced a great deal since it wasn't my last cash.
People have even suicided, I read in some Reddit posts and tweets. The best thing one can do during such times is to just lock their coins and forget about them for some time. If you keep checking their price daily and it is for some reason dropping bit by bit, you will eventually lose control and sell the in anger and that is what whales want people to do.
2666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: June 12, 2021, 08:24:35 PM
Norris wasn't really cause of that penalty point, he wasn't ever of the red flag and he was literally on the line, like just a second or so and he stayed out, not like dude was a mile away and still didn't pit, which is why it shouldn't have been a severe penalty point like this. Dude will be missing one race for sure without a doubt, you can't just race that many races without ever missing a game, and it is very very bad for someone like Norris to miss a race because he is fighting for the third spot, it is almost guaranteed to finish at top 5 if he keeps this season series going, and with one miss it is like he would be basically dropping from third place fight very easily, bottas and perez surely would have some points unless some freak situation like Baku happens, which is why I feel like it is going to matter a lot. Mazepin doesn't have that much penalty because he served his, he is just at 2.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: June 12, 2021, 02:15:34 PM
I think it is more likely that each individual character responds to gambling games, this is like how we feel comfortable in betting.
For me personally, of course I prefer bets related to numbers and pictures in it, especially dice, x-factor, slots. Not very often, but from time to time I like to visit the sites in my spare time.
You are right everyone has their own favorite but one thing every gambler would agree is they want a game with lowest house edge and most of the games I have played, I feel like dice has the lowest house edge among all the games.

Slots have a massive house edge as compared to dice games. I was checking house edge for all the slots and almost every slot game has 3% or more house edge, which is thrice as compared to dice's 1% house edge.

El Paso one of my favorite slots has a 3.94% house edge, Deadwood another very common slot among gamblers has an almost identical house edge. I know these games might be more thrilling than the dice but we are expected to lose much more on these slots.
2668  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 Virus Research Criminal Found - Anthony Fauci on: June 11, 2021, 11:36:52 AM
It’s really bad how people would do anything all because of money. Some well go to the extent of doing things that will even affect the whole world. So if all these things are true, why exactly did they do all these things, just to cause everyone to be infected with the virus and they will sell vaccines and make money?

I don’t know why Bill Gates is linked to this. If truly it was their plan, then what else is he looking for, more money or what? I do know for sure that rich men can never be satisfied no matter how rich they get, they always want to get more even if it means ruining the life of others only to better themselves.
2669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptos VS Apple on: June 11, 2021, 09:42:22 AM
Today i realize the current market capitalization of the cryptos passes the Apple market capitalization... This is crazy because Apple is the company with the biggest market capitalization, and to see the cryptos market bigger than apple just means that bitcoins and cryptos are a bigger company even if it's decentralized.

I know the current market capitalization can have a hard drop in the future, but right now is impressive to see it over $2T.
It is nice to see that the cryptocurrency market has been growing and the market cap keeps getting huge everyday, as of today that I checked it is $1 Trillion. But, I think comparing the whole cryptocurrency market cap to Apple’s market cap is kind of unfair lol. If you’re going to be comparing it, then it should be one cryptocurrency market cap to Apple’s market cap, and currently none of them can match with it.

But, I believe that bitcoin will be the first to reach that level before any other cryptocurrency. It’s not going to be an easy feat to achieve, but it’s likely to happen.

Honestly I was expecting someone who is like a super wealthy insanely off the charts business person type of deal, like the whole very very expensive suits and jets and all the likes. However this dude looks like a very good grandpa, like you would see him throw in some more logs in the fire and sing a song to his baby grandchild so they would sleep, a regular person. That is what I am trying to say, he looks like a very regular person.

I hope that we get to hear his life story as well, like not just about sportsbet but more about what he did all those years before sportsbet that lead him to have enough money to start this as well, expectedly this job is not a cheap entry and every year you guys are spending more and more, I am sure he must be happy to own here but I wonder how that happened.
2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 10, 2021, 06:54:10 PM
Now a day hundreds of meme coins launching with too much supply and no use case so what do you think about meme coins and will some meme coins survive long or they will all runaway ?
No meme coin can survive for a very long period and that is why they are termed as "meme" because they have no use-case and they are solely being traded for their price rather than their value.

I think looking at the current market the only meme coin that might survive for the longest period is Dogecoin, because Elon is backing the meme coin and he is even ready to work with the developers to make some changes, probably shifting from PoW to PoS.

I will never suggest trading any meme coins and even if you do make sure you are not holding or investing in them for a long time. It might be worth buying when Elon makes a tweet and sell once the impact of the tweet is over. It's kind of Ponzi, you might earn some but also might be late and everyone is already dumping when you bought.
2672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 10, 2021, 06:23:33 PM
Yes tried.
But dip after dip coming. So in the end bought at a higher price.
But not worrying about it cause market will recover soon inshah allah.
Let see what happens next.
It hurts to buy considering the market will go bullish but it continues to go bearish but I like your thinking and positive perspective. It is about the time when we might see BTC hitting $55k or $0k soon although it might take longer than what most people are expecting.

When you buy Bitcoins and market falls down just remember that the same coin was being traded at $55k and more, some time ago, and if there were buyers at 55k there will surely be buyers again for the same price and just need to come out of this down market.

Looking at the larger picture it is quite obvious that the price should only go higher from such a low.
2673  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 10, 2021, 03:44:20 PM
So it is always a 1:1 ratio? 1 device per 1 account?

What if for example I only have 1 Roobet account that is created on a computer desktop that is mine and I logged it in into multiple devices let's say for 2 devices both computer desktop that is mine and the other from my friend. Will there be any violation of the TOS if my friend decides to create his Roobet account? Assuming that we have different assigned IP address.
I think multiple devices can be used with only one account because sometimes I log in on the laptop when I can't use my smartphone to play games before.  In case your friend also creates his or her account on the device you've already used, it's best to let the support team know first.
Multiple devices for one account is fine, I have done it for a while and never had a problem, but multiple accounts on one device is the biggest problem. Even if you have your own account and you play on your desktop and then you go to your friends house who gambles on his computer, then you log off your friends account or not even have to, play on his IP with your mobile, that is going to be a problem. I thankfully do not do that, I just focus on playing at my own desktop and nobody else gambles here at all.

Even my wife plays on the same account so we do not risk it, she likes to gamble as well and we gamble at separate times (or separate places) on the same account, two people having one account is not a problem since they wouldn't know who is playing but KYC is a bit of an issue in that case but since it is my wife, I am still fine because I would be willing to accept anything like that. Best course of action is one ip = one device = one account.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on climbing challenges on: June 09, 2021, 05:28:41 PM
Man, this kind of sport looks scary enough. I even would not bet, but rather ask another people not to do so, because this will promote such sport and this can result in some idiots to fall over cliff and their deaths. Let's better to bet on cockroach races, i don't think that this can result in anything bad  Grin
Well yeah, risk is always there and when speed is the requirement, there are even more accidents than it would be under normal circumstances.

I never knew such game exist climbing challange. I would love to watch how it's been played so I can stake my fiat for my favorite athlete. I am also wondering if the odd will look attractive since a whole lot of persons don't know such games exist I feel more publicity should be done on this to create good awareness to the public about this kind of game.
I love the second point you made. Whenever a new sport is added for betting there are opportunities for easy money because not everyone is aware of the skills of specific players/athletes and you can take advantage of that. It is similar to how some newly formed dota2 teams are strong but they are always underdog because bettors aren't aware of them. I have seen crazy odds on esports at times and the underdogs win quite easily.
2675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where can i backtest my strategies on: June 09, 2021, 04:46:38 PM
I don't quite have the technical knowledge but whenever I have something new on my mind I try it out in the demo accounts at trading platforms. It gives me a clear idea of how successful the strategy is going to be and whether it is worth risking with real money.

If you have a script for your strategy, you can use it to run back test on Trading view. If you can code, you can do back-testing.

Backtest a TradingView strategy between a start and end date
But he said TV can't do it, see the post just above yours  Smiley

I am part of a few telegram groups where some expert traders talk and I will try and get an answer from them because I am just not good enough with these technical things.
2676  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get news about crypto as soon as possibile on: June 09, 2021, 10:24:12 AM
I know that there is a website that provides almost instant news coming from the stock market (I'm talking about Benzinga Pro) in order to get and analyze better trading opportunities, so I was wondering if a similar website actually exists for cryptocurrencies.
You should be checking Twitter and Reddit, most especially Twitter. Twitter is like the main place where you are going to be getting instant need, and even all these other big news websites such as Cointelegraph, they all do reference posts from twitter when they are writing, and that shows that even most of them goes to Twitter to look for their news and publish, that’s mainly their source of information.

Twitter now has a feature where you can follow a particular topic, such as music, movies, cryptocurrency, and whatever topic you want to follow, and posts that has to do with that topic will be constantly displayed on your feed.
2677  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 08, 2021, 07:06:56 PM
Logan Paul fight was removed because they were playing without officials, initially we had the fight on our site but as soon as the rules of the fight were out our provider voided every bet on it and removed it from the offer.
Good to see you here Dusan Grin.

I think there were too many players who were asking for the fight odds in chat that time and if you could have just made an announcement or something to make the players aware of the situation, they would have not asked so many times.

I strongly feel that Mayweather lost but since there were no judges and hence no winner, he escaped an embarrassing loss here. I saw the fight being offered at many fiat-based sportsbooks so I wonder how they would settle it since there wasn't any winner lmao.
2678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: luckygames and its administrator Mark on: June 08, 2021, 05:20:43 PM
After a while, by a youtuber who is still on the topic of cryptocurrencies, I got to know the casino with cryptocurrencies luckygames, until today it is the place where I have felt the most comfortable playing, I registered there in 2019 and played until I closed Last year, I really liked that luckygames had its own free token that we could play to practice strategies and with it we could buy in their store if we won a lot, I became the third best player playing with the token and I did not become a millionaire but what I removed I could take advantage of.
If I am not wrong you are talking about luckygames.io and I have also played there without any problems. Their interface was the best I have seen among all casinos and I was upset when the casino was closed. But look they had their own problems when they scammed a player because he found a glitch, it was a sad start of the things that followed - the end of the casino.

It's sad to see bright casinos close out but I think the way they handled glitches was the real problem. If only they patched the glitch and covered the loss or in the best case force maintenance when they saw the player cheating, would have been the safest option for everyone.

It's not easy for casino owners to fight against players when they exploit bugs because withdrawals are instant and not everyone can continue operating after a bug exploits like what PD faced when hufflepuff ruined them.
2679  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: June 08, 2021, 04:40:10 PM
I was inactive on the forum since 2018, if I remember correctly, back then, there were a lot more signature campaigns and were paying decent amounts in terms of BTC. Likewise, I also believe that a large portion of users here depended too much on them for their source of income, which isn't supposed to be your main one. That potentially lead to fewer signature campaigns and stricter rules in order to participate in one.

Along with my regular job, my internship, the smart contracts/Vaults I've invested into and the signature campaign, I'm averaging a decent income per month.
I was here waaaay before by late 2013, I started; I remember this place was always the same, signature campaigns were a good "side income" but never a salary, even in very low price places you can't make a whole living out of this, sure you can if you are a student or you are living 5 people at your house or whatever, but a single person with single account can't really make a living.

However if you do this, then do another small job like this, and then maybe a few freelancer jobs once or twice a month, then you are going to live a very good life. I have been focusing on that for the past few months (since December) and I have been doing not so bad, not doing great neither but things go up more than I can imagine, then go down to zero Cheesy. So, it is a bit complicated but I like it.
2680  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin for everyone on: June 08, 2021, 11:30:54 AM
do you think our world is ready for an ideal cryptocurrency? the one to solve most of the problems of human society?
what is for you "ideal crypto"?
Everybody is not going to be part of the bitcoin community, not everyone is going to have interest in making use of it. And next, there is not going to be anything such as bitcoin being evenly distributed, lol that can never happen. Even fiat that is centralized and can easily be distributed evenly, they haven’t done that, not to talk about Bitcoin. Everyone can never have the same amount when it comes to money , it’s all about your hard work and luck. So you just have to work hard and gather more for yourself.
