2781  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 05, 2021, 09:31:52 PM
I do not get why people have to go with stocks. The real reason why we are in this mess economically is the stock market and people are too blind to see it. Why? Well simply every company in the world that has a stock needs to keep profiting and keep profiting in order to keep the share holders happy right?

Well, if there is a finite amount of money in the world that means one day one company will own all the money in the world if they keep profiting constantly.

We know that won't happen so there is a money printing going on, which means companies are capable of making more profit since there is more money printing. We all know printing money doesn't solve any issues and the debt in every nation grows bigger and bigger, inflation gets worse and the people at the bottom are the ones who are paying for all this issue. So crypto is definitely the way to go for me.
2782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Update on: May 05, 2021, 08:35:19 PM
We can't say that "price dropped without tesla, so we shouldn't worry about a drop with tesla". I mean it can drop without any sales from tesla that is true, but that doesn't mean that it can't drop if Tesla sells neither. This applies to all companies that have a lot of bitcoin, if they decide to sell their bitcoin that will hurt bitcoin price a lot. Not just because they sold, which in itself will definitely drop the price, but the fact that it also will create a hoard of people who will sell because of that news as well.
Yeah, by combining those two things together and we are in a bad situation. This is why I believe we need to make sure we are doing fine, it is not going to be easy, but if you could manage to find a balance where you are guaranteed and leveraged against a sale that may happen from them, and also even more purchase that may happen from them.

This is just buying and buying and buying so that you could get profit when it increases but having a stop loss in a good place as well.
2783  Economy / Economics / Re: Africa needs to fix continent, richest people are politicians on: May 05, 2021, 08:12:24 PM
Forget Dangote and the rest of the billionaires, the richest people in Africa are politicians. Africans need to reevaluate and rethink their system, so much power is given to the politicians and without any checks or balances. How can an ex-governor not be tried in court for his mischievous activities because there is a written document that said so who signed the documents is it the populace? They loot millions of dollars and stack them up for their families whereas the masses are suffering.
They even go as far as banning the trading of cryptocurrencies because they feel people might benefit from it. When the world is enjoying it. African needs to be taken to the hospital and given proper treatment because they are moving backward. More strength to their youth as many are still thriving in the harsh environment.
I understand a situation like this, and I really think it’s high time that the people rise up and fight for what’s right. Though from my observation, based on things that I have seen happen in those places, their youths are usually divided and that means they can easily be distracted. And their politicians are always looking for ways to outsmart them at all times.

I think any day they all decides to come together and fight for what’s theirs, they are sure going to be unstoppable. If they keep voting these rich men, they are not going to help them, because most of their leaders are just interested in their selfish needs, they only come to loot money from their countries and that’s it. So people really needs to say a NO to all that.
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: May 04, 2021, 09:33:55 PM
He is not just a goalscorer.. he has an aura around him..which defenders gravitate towards as he is such a scoring threat. Also, he creates goals out of nothing as well. If I had to compare current premier league strikers. I would say Harry Kane but Drogba is a lot more physical. Chelsea does miss that for quite some time. Giroud does the job pretty well but sometimes it doesnt feel like he's getting enough supply towards him.
Agreed, even if not a fan. My favourite Reds player of all time (again, very much a personal bias and because I played in his position) was Carragher and if there was one man Carra couldn't mark at all it was Drogba. Think he even said once he got nightmares from playing against him, so that's a huge nod of respect to the Ivorian Coast guy. I don't think any Chelsea or Liverpool fan will forget THAT goal he chested down while being marked, swivel and lash with weaker foot and goal. Carra just shrugged. Reina just shrugged. Impossible to defend.
I do believe that Drogba would be good for any era, he wasn't playing just one way or the other way, he played the game in every way possible and when you are a great striker that passes, scores and just keeps the other side on their toes all game, that is just good for every era ever.

I know there are some players from back in the day that may not be great in today’s game, right now players are a lot more faster and a lot more athletic which is why older generation players may have been not so great today, but there are many players from old generations that would humiliated this defense, Drogba was one of those players for sure. I think Chelsea doesn't have that kind of power anymore, whereas Real at least has Benzema which I think is their advantage, their defenses are close to each other in level but Real has a lot better offense if you ask me.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 04, 2021, 08:50:36 PM
Four games left. Things are still not looking good for Liverpool at all. I mean there is a serious serious possibility that they will not be going to europe this year. I get that City could have been champions while Liverpool becoming second again, that would have made sense, if something marvelous happened and they were third that would have been decent as well, but 7th? Really? Now they are 7th and if they win that extra game they will be 6th at best and that’s it, and that extra game is against United so there is a big chance they could lose that game as well.

I don't know what is wrong with them but I don't know what happens in a season where they pay so much money, not earn too much money and not even be in any european league at all, that sounds like maybe it is time for them to dissolve and sell their players because they may not be able to afford to go on.

Apeswap is definitely one of the better ones. They have used their hype very well, they have their own routers which we can't say about many of the websites in the binance world, most of them use pancake router instead of creating their own, even though this makes things harder for new ones, apeswap managed to handle this very well without a problem and have a lot of LP right now.

Anyone who wants to use it, could just use metamask type of wallets (safepal, trust wallet, many others) and you can simply deposit here, then gamble, and withdraw all without a problem and very little amount of money for these transactions as well. It is also a great way to invest as well, they have high APR too, so you can keep your money in interest, get the profits, gamble with them which would make things nearly like a free way to gamble and that's cool.
2787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!! on: May 03, 2021, 09:02:27 PM
But not all old coins are worthy of investment. You'll still need to consider its market volume before buying them or choose directly the top listed altcoins.
But with the current market position, I'm not putting some interest in them instead I look and search for new projects. Well, the risk is too high and it needs more market search but couldn't be denied that some of them are having a good return x5, x10. I hope I've got some luck on them but of course, I'd never put everything on them, I was also acquiring BTC, ETH, and BNB for more security.
That's true, there are a lot of old coins that didn't reach nowhere near their ATH prices as well. People are in love with XRP these days, but it is what half of what the ATH was? I can't believe that just because it went up, people like that coin, it is a shitcoin in my mind.

Or look at doge, it went up because of a silly person, but the reality is that it will crash hard when the time comes, you have to be careful when you buy that. At the end of the day there are definitely some great projects that was created years ago that could have a great field day in the near future, and there are some that will not do much and there are some that will crash, all of them are here, that goes for the new projects as well, some will go up, some will not do much and some will go down. That is the situation of the market and we should be used to it.
2788  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are some good crypto trading apps on Android? on: April 30, 2021, 06:14:49 PM
I already have MetaTrader 5 on my phone which I'm very happy with. I just wanna see what other apps you guys like and maybe try them out.
I generally like simple apps with clean UIs but I'll have a look at anything that is popular on here. Thanks!
There are tons of them that you’re going to see on mobile that are for trading and lots of other purposes, it’s all up to you in what you really want to be making use of the app for. So, I am going to mention different mobile apps that you can check out and if you like them you can install then and try then out.

First of all, talking about having a simple UI, when it comes to trading I think you should check out the Coinbase app and the Coinbase Pro app, both for mobile. They are really good, and their UI looks simple and they are way easy to understand. Then another one is the Binance mobile app, if you want to do that. There is also Kraken, and Changelly. Next if you want to hold and make earnings/interests, then check out apps like BlockFi.
2789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 30, 2021, 05:41:34 PM
This is funny.

Remember last year when people were saying, too much money, old player, etc?

Manchester wants to keep Cavani 1 more year now!

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1387885598741045248
I do not understand "too old" argument anymore. Ibrahimovic is 40 years old, a player that basically went to USA to retire, and then he was so good that he came back and was crucially important for Milan this season, they were even leading the league by a big margin as well however that went down a lot.

I mean 34-35 years old is not that old in football anymore, back in the day it was old I get it, in 90's players retired at 32-33 years old and that happened quite frequently and was seen as normal, then it became more like 34-35 eventually on early 2000's and by 2010+ it became older and older and nowadays 40 years old is not shocking at all.

Cavani is not that old, he can play at least another 2-3 seasons of football providing something barring some injuries, and that means the argument for him being old doesn't make sense to me at all.
2790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin: Too Big to Fail? or Too Big to Jail? - FED Goes Full Retard or Ponzi? on: April 30, 2021, 05:20:53 PM
You got it wrong where you said that bitcoin is completely controlled by the Chinese, there’s no truth, and it made me wonder if you did your research at all before making this post.

China doesn’t have any control over bitcoin, they may have lots of miners, but they don’t have the control to say what happens, and moreover there are now lots of miners coming up from other countries and they are all able to compete with the miners from Chinese. And finally the government don’t have any kind of control on cryptocurrency, they don’t say what happens here, the community is totally independent and doesn’t have any one controlling it.
2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 30, 2021, 01:33:59 PM
They keep telling me that betting on basketball is easier but I still don't get why. Any clue?
I honestly could not get one point here; if NBA betting is profitable for someone does not mean it will be profitable for all other gamblers as well. I mean it is not like investing in bitcoin is profitable hence you also may try. It is completely different one. One gambler is losing at one end and another one is gaining at another end.

So, best sport to gamble cannot be same for every gambler and at the same time, when we do not follow any sport then betting on that may not be consistently profitable.

Overall, best sport to bet is definitely individual gambler specific and more precisely it may not remain same forever as a team/sportsperson's performance may vary according to their form and fitness.
2792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 30, 2021, 08:04:24 AM
I expect today's match to be clearly one-sided, with RCB winning comfortably. If RCB bats first, expect a score in excess of 200. All the RCB batsmen are in terrific form, and combined with the pathetic performance of the Punjab Kings bowlers so far we can expect a record total (in case RCB bats first).
Who knows RCB maybe the winner of 2021 IPL tournament when considering how things are working for them so far (except that only match where they lost against CSK due to Jadeja's heroics). The good thing is AB Viliers form and moreover unlike any other season they got good players for now, it seems. I agree that today's match also going to be RCB dominated by looking at pathetic so far run of Punjab Kings.

Do you aware of any betting platform where we can bet on final winner of IPL? I checked on few of crypto gambling houses but I am unable to locate any of them for final winner of IPL 2021.
2793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A little sad story on: April 30, 2021, 07:08:34 AM
Personally I always go long term and try to catch sudden dumps, whales selling and crashing the market due to lack of liquidity, squeezes. I don't predict what will happen overnight, don't even try, and I don't use leverage.
You sound like a professional trader because only people who are having good experience never going for leveraged trading and never trying for catching small sudden drops. Always looking for big profits in long run by investing into highly potential asset is the best way of trading and that must be the way of professionals do.

Your actions are important. Strategy is important. Otherwise, you will lose what you earned sooner or later.
Timely action and sticking always within plan will always ensure protecting our capital and unrealized profits as well. Most traders are getting distracted when they are seeing spike or sudden drop in markets. This leads them to go away from their plans or enforcing them not to take action on right time.
2794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: April 29, 2021, 09:48:08 PM
Sometimes I do get tempted when seeing unexpected new opportunities but if my technical analysis not showing anything like that then I will simply leave off that.
I am happy that you are not going anything beyond your technical analysis. This shows how strong at your willpower so that you are able to stick within your trading plans. I guess you must be a trader with years of experiences. Because, I am simply unable to execute any of my plans as I am easily get distracted by market hype time to time.

I believe traders need more practices so that they could play only within their plans. When traders are giving room for any of their emotions then they are simply moving out of trading plans. This has happened many times with me in crypto trading.
2795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Eyes on BTC Dominance! on: April 29, 2021, 09:17:30 PM
BTC dominance is now below 50%, this is now the start of the altcoins market, bitcoin is only fluctuating and it's not anymore creating a new ATH, this is the time where investors will transfer their money to altcoins as it's more profitable at the moment. As long as bitcoin will not dump, altcoins would continue to rise and that is the beauty of the altcoins season.
You contradict yourself. When people transfer their money from bitcoin to altcoins then bitcoin will dump, right? But, you need at the same time bitcoin will not dump so that altcoins will continue to increase, how it will be possible?

Honestly I never consider bitcoin dominance as a significant factor for investing into altcoins or for shorting bitcoins. I just do both of them after spending long hours in my technical part alone. When we are good in technical analysis then we can simply ignore bitcoin dominance kind of non-significant comparing metrics.
2796  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: To keep coin long term on: April 29, 2021, 08:43:16 PM
Maybe everyone has different suggestions and a much different strategy but I prefer to analyze coins that you will hold for a long time. you have to know the benefits of these coins and the team that is there. If you already know it is your choice to believe in the coin. I prefer to know about the active coinage with developments that always come from the ideas of the team. If the team still has ideas and is active in providing information to the investors who have participated in it, it is much better than other coins.
I personally do the same, but mine is much simpler and much easier study. I own the three top coins, btc, eth and bnb as my biggest investment, sure I have some small change in here and there, 80 bucks there 50 bucks here some changes but the reality is that I do not really care about those ones, I only care about the big three.

It means my study and research is not that big, I have been in the crypto world for many years now, before most people came in (and idiot enough to not buy bitcoin at 100-150 dollar levels) that is why I already know that buying bitcoin, ethereum and bnb is not that difficult choice it is definitely easy choice to make for me to buy the same top three things. Maybe one day I will be invested in bigger things, like gold and real estate if I ever own that much money, but I do not see myself buying something like that anytime soon.
2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hodl litecoin or exchange for ethereum? on: April 29, 2021, 08:14:45 PM
As a note I have both litecoin and ethereum, it seems eth will surge once July approaches. Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet? I was hoping Litecoin would have shot up sooner so I could get more eth before it decided to shoot up, but oh well.
I really prefer ethereum, not just because it is second ranked coin, but because it has a great possible future as well. Think about it this way, we are talking about the second biggest coin AND a coin that moved away from 40+ dollars per transaction to now around 6-8 dollars, AND it will have eip 1559 in 14th of July to drop it another 50% at the least (probably more), AND we are talking about in the future becoming eth 2.0 with proof of staking so less people who sell (miners who sell to pay for electricity of their mining operations) and more people buying (for increasing their staking profit).

So long term I am very very bullish on etheruem, it is going to be so simple for it to go up, even there is a bear market and everything falls, I believe eth will not fall as much as others and when it increases back up with another bull it will break above a lot, can see 5k+ very very easily, maybe as much as 10k+ as well.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are females welcomed in gambling thread? on: April 29, 2021, 03:26:16 PM
There are feminine name here I have no idea if these are females all I care about are the discussions and contribution of members to the forum, regardless if they are male or female, and besides no one is introducing here of their gender, all they care about is they can keep up on the discussions and become a god contributor to the forum.
I am also having similar view on this topic. Who cares your gender? Usually I never care that on any of social media because people easily fake that. In some cultures, people tend to give or not give importance to females but that is not the case with most of Internet activities and especially in this forum as well.

I believe we never need to focus on one's gender when they are constructively contributing for the progress of this community. We are all gamblers and we are here for sharing our experience with gambling hence there is no role for gender here obviously.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 28, 2021, 08:44:37 PM
Monaco are going to host Lyon this weekend and it's definitely one of the crucial games for both teams. Monaco are on a 5-win streak and they need to win not to stay behind Lille and PSG more in the race for the championship. If Lyon win this, they may join the race again. Considering Lyon destroyed Monaco before, I guess Monaco's job won't be easy. But they are the in-form side so I wouldn't be surprised if they win a victory.
things are not looking good for Lyon, after they got eliminated from the french cup against Monaco and losing to Lille when they were leading with 2-0, the match against Monaco is their chance to get back on their feet and revenge their loss in the cup.
@Rabi3 indeed this match is a big opportunity for Lyon, to get their season back on track, and they should do everything they can to win this fixture. However I’m not keen to underestimate Monaco too, as they can easily turn the tables against Lyon and win the fixture, hence I’ll wager in game only once I have a good feeling about who’ll win it.
Lyon IS out of the title race, do not care what the standings and math says it is obvious that they are out. With the game they have left, they could win all the games left and Lille is not about to lose 6 points in the leftover games. There is like 4 games left and that would mean 2 games lost out of 4 and that doesn't seem like that would be too possible, sure mathematically it seems like possible even today, but do you really believe 2/4 loss would happen with Lille? The team that won 21 out of 34 would end up losing 2 out of 4? They have only lost 3 games so far in the whole 34 games.

I hope that it will be Lille that end being champions this year, I am really bored of PSG winning every single year, this will be much better to see Lille winning so that other teams can see that it is possible if they are playing right and do the roster management right and get the right coach.

Holding coins and tokens and not looking back until you start hearing how big crypto market is will leave you in a very bad mood, I'm sure this must have happened to some people here as well, this is my new sad story, I have some moozicore and nxps in holding and I just heard that they swapped to new coins leaving my tokens useless

MZI swapped to MZG
NXPS swapped to PUNdiX

I hope others will learn from this
Well, yours is better that you know where they switched to, so you have better chance that you can contact them through their social media pages, website, or whatever means, and see whether they can be able to help you in any way. That’s much better than someone that bought and stored a particular coin at the rate of $15 only to come back and it is worth nothing at all, all of them are just worth $0.

But you’re still right though, that’s why it’s good that if you’re buying coins you should not buy too much to the extent that you can’t keep an eye on them, and also wen you make an investment you shouldn’t keep your eyes off them, you should make sure that you have your focus there.
