2821  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - New Community Chat feature on site now!! 🚀 on: April 21, 2021, 04:42:42 PM
What a world we live in, I came in here to ask about "will there be bets on the european super league if it happens" today, that was in my mind last night when I went to bed, because that would be really a superb place to bet, all great teams, all could beat each other at any given moment, not that many teams that would be worse than the others, feel like a whole league of champions league quarter finals and higher levels, sounded very very exciting to me.

However today I read that some teams already left it, and it is being disbanded after just 24 hours of existence. I do not know if anyone got anything, I do not know if there was something that really bothered fans, I am not fan of any of these teams (from another nation) but I would have loved to watch it, it would have been amazing to watch, I guess we will not get to see it after all.
2822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 20, 2021, 08:36:44 PM
I have no problems seeing a bright future for BTC, but after a major retracement it might again take many years to recover. Look at the last sell off down to $3700. It took almost 4 years to make new ATH.
So should this be the major, expected drop, it could again take many years for BTC to reach 100k.
Many people will be dead before BTC will reach 1 mio.
Anyone that is seeing the current price that we have now would be happy! Whether there will be a price of hundred thousand dollars and above or not shouldn’t be a problem. Let’s admit it, most of us that were here earlier when it was all still new, we never expected an increase as huge as this because of the way the market is now, so I don’t know why you’re trying to make it seem like there is anything special if the market should reach hundred thousand dollars, I don’t see anything so special about it, it doesn’t change anything.

Moreover, we all know for the fact that cryptocurrency market is volatile that it is not going to be that stable, it’s always going to be a case of going up and down.
2823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 20, 2021, 07:23:24 PM
A lot of factors needs to be taken in to account, when we talk about panic selling. Previously, we had extended phases of correction associated with Bitcoin, which lasted for as much as 2 years. Not everyone can hold on to their coins for so long. So in such cases, they need to sell their coins, while incurring minimum amount of loss. And another factor is that the last time we had a major correction was more than one year ago (and even then the prices recovered in a few days). A lot of the users are getting overconfident due to this.
The last bear market of bitcoin really was a lesson learn to every one that despite of how dumped the crypto you have in hand especially bitcoin, we should atleast left even a small amount of crypto on our wallet, and don't let you panic selling emotion leads you to this way because if were going to look back at the bitcoin market last two years to now probably a big difference, a big profit also if you are able to save bitcoin at that time.
I believe when people saw that we went from 2018 crash to 2020-21 skyrocket, they realized no matter what happens to bitcoin it always goes back up. Which is why they are not letting it go down anymore Cheesy ironic I know because people think "if it goes down, it will go up anyway, so I should buy" and that causes it to not go down too much. But we all know that even if it goes down too much, it will go up anyway and that is going to be fine.

I do not know what people will continue to believe, maybe if we go under 40k again that will scare people and there could be like some snowball effect that causes it to keep going down more and more. But, I think it is not going to be that shocking to see these changes, it should probably be something simple. People should not panic when there is a drop, and people should not be as hyped as they were when there is an increase, both will happen all the time.
2824  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 19, 2021, 07:48:22 PM
When prices are dropping, there's always the tendency that one would like to sell out, Inorder to avoid running into losses, but it's best to plan your trade and set stop losses. With this you're not thrown off balance where you may find it difficult to make logical decisions. Trading requires a great deal of wit and following the crowd may not be the best move.
Stop loss makes sense, anyone who bought at 64k and put a stop loss to 60k would have been in profit if they bought at around 53k or so back again. However many people still do not how to put a stop loss and that is why they are losing money as well. There are too many newbies in the crypto world, that is just a fact, because we have increased so much this year, that caused people to get into bitcoin a lot and that is why we are in a situation where a lot of newbies helping us go higher, but those same newbies that helped us to go up also causes us to go low as well when they do something noobish.

This is why I do not know if it is good to have this many new people or not right now. However those newbie people will gain experience and become a great crypto person, none of us started being a crypto expert, which is why it is good in the long term.
2825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ibrahimovic under FIFA and UEFA investigation on: April 18, 2021, 08:42:37 PM
If it is 100k that means it is really seriously nothing for him. I thought it was something more serious and I imagined it would be not 100 million, but not as low as 100k neither, maybe like 10 million or at least 1 million or somewhere in between.

Giving him a 100k fine is like giving me a 10$ fine, if I am profiting thousands of dollars from something, I won't care paying a ten dollars fine for it, even if I am making hundreds of dollars profit, I would still pay it. That is why I think if this 100k news is true, then this becomes not even a news, it is boring and he will definitely just pay it and move on with his life, he could still play another season if he wants to and at the top level as well, as long as he is healthy he could do that, I don't know if a season more after that works, but it will depend on his health, as long as he is healthy he can maybe do even 2 seasons.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the biggest competitive eSports? Do you ever place eSport bets? on: April 17, 2021, 03:22:31 PM
I used to gamble on CS:GO matches, not that I understood which team was better and which was worse from the knowledge, I obviously checked the odds and when a team is 1.4 while other one is 4.40 you know which one is better, and I wagered accordingly.

However the main point of why I gambled was to make it more fun, because it was like I was fan of the team I wagered and that mattered a lot. Hell once I remember I wagered on a finals game, literally winner takes all, and the odds for the winner was 1.7, I was shocked to see one team being soo good that they were literally 1.7 during the finals, against the other team that managed to beat everyone else to get there. Those type of things just made watching those matches a lot more fun, my purpose wasn't to just gamble, my purpose was to put some money in to make viewing 100x more entertaining.
2827  Economy / Economics / Re: Raising the stock market after Covid-19 on: April 16, 2021, 05:15:44 PM
I am wondering what other stocks have similar potential to keep my portfolio balanced.
You have to know that majority of the people that you’re seeing here are just cryptocurrency traders and investing in stocks is not a thing for them, so most of them are not going to be able to give you the right answer to be this question you have asked.

There are lots of good stocks that you can invest and I believe that if you properly do research you will even find better options for you to be investing your money in. But  for me, I don’t think that I am going to see any other investment that is going to be better than bitcoin, so that’s what I am steady investing money in.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: April 16, 2021, 04:38:58 PM
We're starting the PL weekend with a really important game tonight. Both Everton and Tottenham are trying to stay in the rece for the top 4 spots and CL qualifications and it's fair to say that the team that loses tonight is probably out of the race.
I'm hoping for a draw because it would suit Liverpool the most, but I think Tottenham has the advantage tonight. Everton has too many injuries )Clavert-Lewin, Mina, Doucoure, Gbamin, Delph, Bernard), While Tottenham's only injury is Matt Doherty.

Going for under goals might be a smart bet, it's going to be a really careful game from both sides.
I do not have enough courage to bet on Everton vs Tottenham game, but I also do not think that whoever wins will have a chance to be in the top 4 neither, maaaybe 6th spot if they are lucky but not 4, West Ham is 55 points on 4th whereas Tottenham has 49 and Everton has 48 so I do not think there will be too much changes and that is why I do not think that there will be something major neither, it is going to be easy.

Plus they will probably miss out on sixth spot as well, if Everton wins they are 51 so they will not be 6th spot because Liverpool already has 52 points, but even if Tottenham wins they are tied in points and Liverpool getting even a tie against Leeds would make sure that they do not have any problems. If Liverpool wins against Leeds they would really have a chance for champions league though, they are playing well lately and they need to keep that going, Leeds is a dangerous team, so they should be careful.
2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 16, 2021, 03:16:26 PM
Greg Oden. Yes, that was a waste. High expectations for him to dominate the centers of NBA. If he was healthy, I bet his offers will be hitting the roof.  Grin
In case of Aldridge he already played a lot of hoops and I think that is enough to prove he is also one of the best forwards in the league.
He didn't get a ring but he's still one of the elites that will not be forgotten.

I was also shocked about the retirement. It was a big surprise.
Just out of curiosity, will they give him a ring if ever the Nets win the championship?
He has been dealing with his heart condition for a while, I know that his retirement could have been a bit shock to anyone who didn't know about that, but even the ones that knew it would basically be expecting him to do that eventually, even if timing could be a surprise, it was definitely expected anytime in the last 2-3 years.

I am a spurs fan and we knew this for the past few years, it wasn't as bad as making him retire, so he kept playing, but it really didn't help that much for his fatigue and rest, because of his condition he couldn't train as well as other people, he had to basically take care of his body and not overuse it, which caused him to play lesser and lesser minutes and have higher and higher fatigue.

I guess he called it game and just left it at the table. About the ring deal, I don't know if they would have done it in any other situation, but since this one is health related and basically a very great PR move, they will give him one for sure.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex-CIA Director Proved Bitcoin Use in Illicit or Crime to be disprove on: April 16, 2021, 12:47:51 PM
To achieve his goal, Morell consulted many experts in financial services, payment systems, global intelligence, even former senior government officials. The Ex-CIA director himself used to believe Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are a convenient way of sending money anonymously.

However, the research made him changed his mind. He was able to reach important conclusions: Bitcoin’s use as an illicit finance tool is “significantly overstated” which fiat currency is used for Illicit or Crime than cryptocurrency
I know very well that the fiat currency is the one that is being used mostly by those that are into scamming and all of that. Though I do know that there are some illicit activities where bitcoin is being used, but I have always believed that there isn’t many of them that are making use of cryptocurrency as a payment method, it’ has always been fiat that they prefer to be making use of.

So, the government or anyone trying to say that these currencies should be stopped for that same reason is a big lie. It’s just like the Nigeria central bank that banned bitcoin and claimed it’s because it is being used for illicit activities, they are just making up foolish lies, lots of their politicians have been laundering money from them and using fiat to do it and they never found out lol, that’s one of the worst central bank there is.
2831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: April 16, 2021, 10:31:53 AM
Since 1 decade Bitcoin has continued to be the asset that has the best performance even in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, at the beginning of the emergence of COVID-19 it had made Bitcoin decline but Bitcoin's performance still proved to be better when compared to other investment assets.
Yeah, that is the reason I do think does covid has anything to do with bitcoin? I don’t know why a lot of people like associating the covid-19 to bitcoin, just like those that are saying that the covid-19 is what caused the bullish trends in Bitcoin now, while at first they were all saying that it is going crash bitcoin and when it started crashing at the initial stage they all believed that it was what’s causing the crash, and now they believe it is what is helping bitcoin lol, they are forgetting that whether there is anything like this or not that bitcoin will continue with the growth that we are seeing now.
2832  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 16, 2021, 08:50:49 AM
I hate that I cannot save money effectively because our government loves to inflate problems away at the expense of my savings... bitcoin and altcoins are our greatest hope in returning power back to working middle-class people.
I believe that Bitcoin was created for a lot of things, whatever opportunity you see there, it’s good to take it , if you’re going to be able to get rich through bitcoin then you should make sure not to miss that kind of opportunity.

A lot of people have gotten rich through bitcoin, and their life has changed for the better, so it’s not bad if that’s your target to achieve. I know you’re trying make people understand the real purpose of bitcoin, but it can also make you rich. When I started with bitcoin it wasn’t to get rich, I had other motives, but that has become part of the plan and I can tell you for sure that I want to get rich through Bitcoin.
2833  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: April 16, 2021, 07:45:12 AM
I think after the world economy get stabilize. The bitcoin performs out standing. Because peoples understand the value of Bitcoin. Because when every business fails in 2020 due to COVID-19. But traders are still earning money through Bitcoin. And now Bitcoin is above 60,000$. And it is not the end, the price is still growing massively day by day.
Yes a lot of people are now looking at bitcoin, everyone wants to make sure that they own some bitcoins so that they wouldn’t be missing out from the opportunity that it brings. Now that the price of the coin have reached sixty thousand dollars and above a lot of people will now want to start buying it especially those that didn’t invest all this whole and are thinking that it is coming to an end, which it isn’t, they are definitely going to be shocked and blame themselves for not buying when it was at a lower rate , very bad for them.

You can't compare an offline casino to an online casino, there's a huge difference, on an online casino, you should be the one to protect your account, the site can only recommend implementing 2factor, strong passwords which you ignore and leave everything to the online casino, thinking that they have programmers to protect your account, if you cannot accept this, then don't play online and play in a physical casino instead.
Isn't it funny that whenever someone loses money on a casino, it is always casinos fault that they lost it? I have seen people gamble and call places "rigged" because they have played for too long and ended up with a big streak of losses on their martingale that has been proven to be a failed method over long period. I have seen people claim places scammed them when the fact was player was double spending quickly to not lose, but win when they can. I have seen all kinds of things, now we have people who got hacked and blaming the casino for it as well.

How can one casino be responsible for all these things all at once, and this is not just betfury by the way, this is all of crypto. Some days just makes me confused why would anyone even start a crypto casino, I really wouldn't want to own one personally, you work as hard as any other business and you get blamed for everything that you didn't do.
2835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 15, 2021, 10:54:49 PM
Earlier today I've just achieved my new VIP level, now I'm platinum 3.
Honestly I did not expect that I can reach this level since I'm a small gambler only.
More than 3 and a half year for me reach this level, it shows how small my wager activity but the most important thing is that I'm having fun while gambling in this awesome casino.
Thanks for the leveling up bonus ($800) plus a small additional reward from my current wagering activity.
I guess this Plat 3 will be my max level that I can reach as it looks impossible for to reach Plat 4.
If I will be able to reach it, perhaps I needs 2-3 years to reach the next level  Grin
I do not think that platinum 3 will be the last place you reached. Remember it took you 3.5 years to reach here, so why shouldn't you reach the next stage in another 3.5 years? Maybe 5 years? Maybe 10 years? But you could definitely reach there. Keep investing into crypto and there is a big chance you could make profit there as well, and you could use those profits to gamble and reach higher levels.

I am not saying that you should gamble no matter what, if you are in financial stress at any point in your life, gambling should be the first thing you should stop doing, but as long as you can afford to gamble, why not? This is why I believe, someone who has grinded so much, will be capable of wagering more in the future as well, even if you keep the same pace, you could reach new levels by just keep doing what you have done so far, but longer period of time.
2836  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: April 15, 2021, 10:22:29 PM
It is public info that Ryan and Daniel have known each other for several years. Don't think trust was an issue, especially if they knew each other in person, and especially considering that Ryan has enough BTC to not scam for that little.
Ryan was the seller I believe, Devans was the buyer. Which means if Ryan had enough BTC, that doesn't mean Devans wouldn't scam, because it was Devans that bought it. But we all know Devans had the money as well since he bought it, and everything worked perfectly, there is really nothing that went wrong, everything went smoothly, we know that now.

The question is, what happened during that period, how it was done, how much was paid, and seriously, how the hell did Devans took over a place and kept it is cool for this long. MAANY projects end up dying after a while, and the ones that doesn't die end up renovating it as a whole to keep staying relevant or they just die down and be gone. Bustabit reaching to a perfect level and then staying there without ever really having any down is a marvelous thing, I am even sure that in dollar worth it is much bigger now (because btc went up) so it is really a huge achievement. I could literally ready a book about before the transition, during transition and everything after.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TRX and XRP are doing well on: April 15, 2021, 09:36:39 PM
I've pretty much doubled my investment on both TRX and XRP.

Are we expecting these coins to pump even further still?
If you have invested in XRP for a long time before the bullish trends started then you’re lucky enough because that means you will be making profit and can sell at anytime. Why I am saying this is because I feel the increase with XRP might stop at anytime and start dropping to a low price , because we can’t tell why the price is going up.

As for Tron, I think there is more possibilities that the price can continue with the uptrend with time as there are reasons why it will. The team is always pushing hard to move the coin and it keeps growing like that, although it dropped recently, but it will still go up later .
2838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? on: April 15, 2021, 06:01:04 PM
will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? If not, why? Is there a possibility governments will adopt stablecoins as their own instead of launching digital currencies from scratch? Your input will be greatly appreciated.
I still believe that there is a big chance that we may see stablecoins created by governments that became corrupted like fiat, which will disturb the crypto market. How? Well if one government creates a stablecoin, backs it up with their nation treasure, then uses it to buy bitcoin, there is no end to it, how? They could use all the tax money to show they are good for it and sell stablecoins of their creation and buy bitcoin with it, most nations have 100+ billion dollars to do that, not ready to spend, but ready to show as proof they are holding it.

This is why it is quite dangerous to let them buy bitcoin with it, they would be rich overnight while people would be holding worthless stablecoin that they hope to use in their nation but that's as bad as it gets, if this idea is used for evil, it could destroy all of crypto market and make things crash very quickly.
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 14, 2021, 09:07:27 PM
I believe Lakers has a chance to become the 4th as well by the end, doesn't really matter considering 4th and 5th play each other, and I think Blazers will not be able to catch up that easily neither, but things are looking good even for a fourth spot to show force as well, better for confidence at least.

Lakers without both AD and Lebron is not a great team, I wouldn't even say a good team, they are probably a decent team at best, they have zero star players in the roster right now, however it was good that some players that didn't get too many minutes is getting some more minutes and people who didn't shot too much getting their shots in, so right now is a good period for the team to actually end up making a good amount of progress for the role players and they could help the team more thanks to it when AD and Lebron comes back.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 13, 2021, 05:50:58 PM
DOGE can go up or down by as much as 50% (or more) in a given 24-hour period. If you want to use that coin, then I hope that you are aware of the risks. I am someone who got burnt a few years back because I preferred shitcoins instead of Bitcoin. I prefer to use Bitcoin, irrespective of the transaction fee. In gambling sites that accept BCH, I make my deposits with that coin. But in other sites, I make the deposits in bulk and wait until the Mempool is empty.
I do not really like to use Doge in any case or shape, but we are in crypto world and 50% change in a day is not really that shocking as long as it doesn't do that every day. Doge is obviously more volatile than most coins you may see, but when we are talking about something as expected to more a lot as crypto, blaming doge to be volatile is not a reason to not use them.

My reason for not using it is simply them not being trustworthy enough, they look like a bit centralized with how many doge some of the wallets have and that is why I do not use it, I rather use more decentralized currencies. I used to love ETH when gambling because it wasn't this expensive but these days it is very expensive, so now I turned towards other ones, plus there are dapp gambling that exists these days which means you do not have to use too much money depending on which chain. Tron is a lot better in these things honestly.
