2741  Economy / Speculation / Re: crypto Currencies become GREEN agian on: May 18, 2021, 07:02:53 PM
Today is starting optimistic in market and all Cryptos got positive sense , so is it end of story of these days nightmare or Elon Musk tweet again to lead the market any where he wants. In the other hand there s too much Elon heard so may the market would not respond to him further more. Let me what you think ? Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Yes I have also seen that today, but I don’t think that this has anything to do with Elon Musk, it’s just the market that is going up because I don’t think Elon Musk has made any positive tweet about Bitcoin all this while. And if he does, people are eventually going to come for him for tweeting good after he has trashed it.

The only coin that Elon Musk has solidly stood behind it is Dogecoin. He made a tweet asking his followers whether Tesla should start accepting Dogecoin for payment the vote ended positively with people agreeing to that. Then there was also a tweet where he mentioned about working with Dogecoin devs in improving system transaction efficiency.
2742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oh, market manipulation is finally bad now? on: May 18, 2021, 06:31:22 PM
How come almost on-one didn't bat an eye when Elon was pumping BTC by tweeting about it? In fact people were encouraging him to tweet about BTC or doge, and now it's suddenly market manipulation and potentially illegal when he is tweeting shit about it and it's going down?
Well that’s just it, people are never happy when you speak against what they like especially when it has to do with their money. By him tweeting good about Bitcoin that means the price will be increasing and that means more money for cryptocurrency investors, but the moment he starts tweeting bad about it a lot of people are not going to be happy with him because they know that they are going to be losing their money when the market starts to crash.

But, what Elon has said is not something new, a lot of people have been talking about this same thing for a long time now. I’m just thinking if he’s just getting to know about that or he has known that all this while but kept shilling these coins just make his own profit and then dump them later. But things have changed now, renewable energy sources are mostly being used these days.
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: May 18, 2021, 05:41:44 PM
when it comes to the long term unless we are incredibly lucky or we play a game of skill then it is almost impossible to beat the casino, and that is fine because that is something that we should have known from the very beginning and the one that does not is an irresponsible gambler.
But my question is, why you should gamble even after well aware of what is going to happen in the end? Do not answer like for entertainment purposes, because I am having 100s of other methods to have fun for zero costs. So in my opinion, just being aware of what is going to happen in the end of the day, will not make you as a responsible gambler; moreover I do see if you gamble then you are perfect suitable to call as a irresponsible persons even you win for a day because one or other you will lose more than what you won in your entire life. That's gambling.

There will be no need to worry on limiting gambling when we not at all gamble, right? Quit gambling completely and then you will start progressing in your life in all means.
2744  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetFury.io|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|⚡️$3.5mln Staking pool|⚡️New coins every week on: May 17, 2021, 08:32:30 PM

Ok thanks! I also use that technique quite a lot to mine tokens. Most of the times I play on Dice, Keno and Limbo but I get sometimes really bad streaks. Just played on Limbo again and in 50 bets I got 7 times a 1x....
Nice, I reckon that's the safest technique to farm Tongue

Limbo got me too just recently with multiple below 2 crashes. That game mode along with crash have higher house edge so you might want to avoid them.
Isn't the house edge the same for all in-house games? Yesterday I also got a long streak (15 bets) below 2x on Limbo  Tongue.
I do not know if the house edge is the same for all games or not, but I know that how many times you lost in a row has nothing to do with house edge for sure. The idea is that if you are in a situation where you are dealing with gambling, house edge could be 1% or 10% and the result won't change.

I mean the result won't change in the sense that you will not have a win or lose depending on the house edge, of course you will have a different profit or loss, like win 99 but lose 100 type of result is depending on the house edge but when it comes down to win or lose outcome that has nothing to do with the house edge. Which means if you were gambling on 50% to win, that could happen, you could lose 20+ times in a row as well, that happens more than people realize, it is of course rare in the sense that you do not have it per hour, but it is still quite possible if you gamble 10k+ times.
2745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT still hot??? on: May 15, 2021, 08:48:30 PM
I have been following NFT for a while and have noticed that the emergence of some animal coins has disrupted the market. Will the market be more stable in June?
What the hell is an Animal  coin? Lol it's the second time I am hearing about this on this forum. Are you guys talking about meme coins like Doge coin and the newer Shiba Inu coin? Stop calling them animal coins. And I don't think they have anything to do with NFTs (but memes do sell real good in NFT market. I have seen people selling meme for hundred thousands of dollars. Insane!).
It's no longer hot like it used to be. The trend/hype seems to be dying eventually. Don't hear about them much anymore.
I think it is stuff like apeswap, dogecoin, shiba and many other stuff like that so you are right about that. They have nothing to do with NFT but they do have something to do with hype. About two months or three months ago we had this huuuuge crazy thing about NFT and everything worth ten times more than it should and people were going crazy over it, then it started to actually go down more and more and NFT didn't really became that good.

Eventually these "animal" coins got a super hype and their prices reached to a point where it shouldn't have reached. Which means maaaaybe there is a possibility that "animal coins" stole the hype away from NFT projects and that is why people are asking if NFT still hot or not. That is what I understand about the situation, I am not entirely sure about it but that seems to be the case for now.
2746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Difference between Limit and Market button on: May 15, 2021, 01:05:44 PM
Good explanations and you should always sell or buy with limit. I personally like to even set really extreme limit buys for Bitcoin if I have spare cash to try and get good prices but of course you risk that the price never goes down and just goes up, in which case then I have to hold on to my alts but it all works out in the end;)
Yeah, actually the market option is great for people who just came to the exchange to buy a coin quickly for some reason. Imagine if I need to pay a service or someone for their service then I won't make the limit order and market works best in those cases because I don't care about a few extra dollars.

Some really deep description of both the options and was a good read overall. I learn some new things almost daily.

Thank you very much I got it!!
Not everyone goes through all the replies so please lock the topic as you have already understood the difference between limit and market options.
2747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SAFEDOG is new Dogecoin! on: May 14, 2021, 06:49:44 PM
VERY POTENTIAL SHORT TERM INVESTMENT
How? What you mean by that? Even it has potential, it is meant for only for short term investments? Really disappointing.

I was speculating many dogecoin clones will storm the altcoin markets but not really expected this kind of dump marketing. This simply shows how hurry you were in when composing this topic after logging to this newbie account from your main account.

Even there are lots of people are continuously spreading awareness against shitcoins but dogecoin kind of coin's success wiping out all the efforts. People see some random coins are getting into success region and then start risking with all shitcoins which makes scammers and lazy devs to make easy money out of nothing.
2748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Dominance Update on: May 14, 2021, 05:55:36 PM
I never said that Elon’s tweet would cause the beginning of the bear market similar to 2018. My post included a chart that shows what happened after a bearish divergence in the MACD when bitcoin’s price was on an elevated level. Also, I never said that this certainly indicates the beginning a bear market.

What I am afraid of with Elon’s new position towards bitcoin is this might discourage other institutional buyers from buying bitcoin or if they had plans to buy, they would cancel it.

In any case, there is also a bullish divergence in the RSI which might indicate that the dumps are weakening.

What Elon did was stop accepting bitcoin for selling tesla cars and I think that is something that the board of directors (if they have one, or whatever else they have) wanted and that's it. Obviously they couldn't say "our shareholders didn't want bitcoin so we are stopping" so he showed another reason, he knew that bitcoin mining was something that spent electricity which is usually what those companies give them, if they could find cheaper renewable energy miners would have used that, it is not their problem how they get it as long as they get it and its cheap.

However reality is that Elon is not moving away from bitcoin, he said that they are not going to sell their bitcoin, they are just not going to accept bitcoin and those are different things. Which is why I think the drop didn't make any sense, he is against miners, not currency itself.
2749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: May 14, 2021, 05:21:06 PM
To answer the question, I would be happy that it will go down at 10k since I can buy a lot of bitcoin at a lower price, that's like the opportunity that some of the users have been talking about regarding buying bitcoin and profiting a lot in the future.
Good luck with that, it's a long bull run, we are witnessing something that might not happen for a while again after it will correct and turn into a bear maket. Judging on the current price, it looks like Bitcoin will not fall at $10k again, but, with big market panic selling, anything is possible.
It is not specifically about 10k, I mean I understand that the question is 10k but the idea is that if we drop to these levels, would it be okay for us? And the answer is always yes, I do not mind bitcoin dropping. If the question was 20k, that would be more possible and I would be fine with that too, if the question was 30k that's fine too, if question was 40k that was fine too.

It recently dropped to 50k in the past 24 hours and I bought some more, so 50k is fine too. Basically, as long as it drops I am happy because I do not believe that the price would drop and stay there, the price would drop and I can buy at lower prices and then it will increase, maybe right away maybe it will take some time but at the end of the day it will increase and that is what I want to see. So yeah, that 10k may not happen but as long as it drops I do not care how low it gets, I will buy more.
2750  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: May 14, 2021, 06:50:05 AM
Every decision to play the slots is the responsibility of each person himself. Every time you play, at the same time you have to be ready to accept defeat or victory, there is nothing wrong with that. You just need to prepare well, whether you have a strategy to win or not.
You are out of the context by some margin but what is said is right. If you are 18+ and you are gambling then it is your responsibility that you are not influenced by a content creator.

Now coming back to the topic, I am not sure which streamers are doing this but from what I have seen on stake's official stream that is Eddie, he almost all the time loses on slots and if there was a chance that he streams to attract players then he would not show his losses and can replay his wins instead as some third party games allow wins to be replayed.

If stake is sponsoring any streamer you know that is asked to show his wins and hide their losses then you should post more details about it @OP. If there exist such streamers then they must mention that the funds they are using in the video are sponsored by the casino, that's for sure.
2751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: May 14, 2021, 06:14:19 AM
Tried new Baron Bloodmore slot and it paid back after 30 dead spins. Btw managed to hit max multi on Gates of Olympus few days ago and excited to try new releases after monthly 🙂
P.S: watch the insane multi drop by Zeus: https://replay.pragmaticplay.net/uXlCAIKQf3
You must be really lucky because I also played this game as soon as I got the email of the early release at stake and I made around 300 spins if not more and I was only able to win a single bet of $0.9 with my base bet being the minimum $0.1 and I got 2 scatters multiple times but the 3rd one never came and I busted all my daily reload in an attempt to get that. It was fun though and for some reason, it feels proud to play a game before anyone else in the world, so thanks stake. Although I might not have played it normally but early release sounds like we are getting something special so I always try those slots.

There is so much noise around the monthly bonus that even the support is bugged with queries haha and even the English chat is all about the monthly bonus until it comes out.
2752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee on: May 13, 2021, 09:52:24 PM
I smell another John McAfee parody with this meme coin and Elon musk chilling all other the internet, the guy will end up losing his respect and people who aren't wise at making decisions will end up hating him, John McAfee used to chill crypto projects forcing the unknown to rush and buy well Elon Musk is the John McAfee Part 2
You think if he promotes dogecoin that means he will scam us one day or another? I don't think so instead it only makes other believe in crypto as you can see the market was pumped once he just talked about it. He even openly said tesla invested 1.5B in BTC.

Douchebag like John Mcafee did those things but I don't think Musk will ever do it to ruin his reputation for a few million dollars if even that much.
2753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Feature Do You Look for In Slot Games? on: May 13, 2021, 09:32:42 PM
When I play slot games, I like to try my luck with low to medium volatility games with RTP rates above 96%.
That's true and I too check the RTP of the games before I play them because some of the games have an absurdly high house edge, a few names I can quickly remember are Book of Gold and MWA.

I often play slots that have a buy free spins feature because normally it takes ages to get those free spins.

As for talking about a particular developer or provider, I must say I am a big fan of Nolimit City because the games they have like El Paso, Warrior Graveyard and even Deadwood all those games pay super crazy when you have some luck. Pragmatic Play is more like constant small wins but I am more tilted towards winning big or winning nothing.
2754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 13, 2021, 09:12:35 PM
Using martingale is the best way on busting up your balance but there are still lots of people been using this common strategy specially on dice where doubling your bet or stake when in loss.
I don't think martingale is that bad but it is just not meant for big wins. Whenever I deposit and play I can easily win 5% of my bankroll via martingale and I know it can fail at times, but if you are aiming to double your money through martingale it will almost never work.

Honestly this is really making the situation even more worst because you cant know on how long the losing streak would be and it will also depend on how big your bankroll is or capital.
No matter how big your bankroll is but the house has even bigger bankroll and remember the smaller fishes is eaten alive by the bigger fish and it get's bigger.

If it could able to handle a long losing streak or not but if not then you would be having  a hard time on making recovery so i dont see for it to be worth.
Recovery through martingale can clean your bankroll entirely so yeah I wouldn't advise chasing your wins by using martingale strategy if at all chase your loss in the first place.
2755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dump just after a new listing? on: May 13, 2021, 08:43:29 PM
No one can predict the situation. AME is running a successful Bounty the team is working hard on advancing the AME token. Fluctuating prices are common. my advice, if you trust the AME token then you better hold it and wait for it to reach a new ATH, especially  the AME token has reached ATH where the price reaches $ 0.15
It also depends on the trust bounty participants have in the project. I mean you cannot force them to not sell their coins but at least you can do some meetings and sessions to explain why holding will bring value in the long term. But, unfortunately no devs find time for such an initiative which eventually result in heavy dumping once the bounty rewards are paid out.

Some projects have a big wallet so they will just buy whatever is being dumped into the market and will later on slowly sell back to the market once it stabilizes.
Yeah, this is how everyone must take care of their own coins; if devs are not buying their own coin or token, then who else will buy and keep the prices up. Only few times they need to do and then investors will get confident and will keep buying all the times which will definitely lead to greater stable values.
2756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 13, 2021, 07:28:49 PM
It was made to tip others and personally I used it to save transaction fees for my gambling earlier, I never see it as an investment even though the price is going binkers. Still, dogecoin is a classic example how an almost dead coin may peak and will enforce all of us to rush for it to consider for long term holding. Lots of my friend mined it before but sold for less than 30 satoshi also. This doesn't mean we must hold all coins for long duration but dogecoin says to us, anything is possible in crypto space.
Yeah, It was a good idea to have a cheap coin in the market so we can tip others and basically have fun. Imagine losing 10000 coins and only costing you $2 or so, that is how it was earlier but now the whole meaning and purpose has changed after all the pumping.

Honestly I will not look for another coin which will be performing like how dogecoins did just 2 or 3 weeks back; instead of that, I will try to invest with dogecoins as Elon Musk still considering it got potential so investing with dogecoin itself will make any one rich rather than looking for some other coin and risking with that.
2757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Difference between Limit and Market button on: May 13, 2021, 06:33:41 PM
Thank you very much for anybody who could answer this clearly, because online it's not that clear! If I click on limit, I only sell at the exact current price right?
I will answer this in simple words for you.

Market: You want to sell or buy the coin at the market price without having to wait.

Limit: You set your order to sell or buy a coin at a desired price and wait for the market to reach that number.

I give you an example to explain better, imagine BTC is being traded at $60k and you want to buy BTC right now without caring what price it is, then you would simply use the market option and get at 60k or around that price immediately. Now if you want to buy BTC but you feel you need it at $59k then you can just put a limit order for buy and wait for the market to drop a little.
2758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 12, 2021, 09:03:34 PM
Holding cryptocurrency is easy and it not about been rich, it about human understanding and discipline between financial needs and saving. However, having the thought that you kept some coins somewhere is the reason why you later sell it but if you stake such coin for years if you can hold it by yourself that will solve the problem.
Well, I don't think a moderately earning person can afford to hold some 10 Bitcoins which he purchased at let's say $1k and if the price reaches 10k, I don't think he can hold for too long, and watching it reach $50k after selling is going to make his decision look bad but in reality, it isn't.

For that reason which is true for most people here, I guess I need to agree with OP completely. In some sense holding is only suitable for very rich people and this may be the one of the reason why people always says rich are getting easy chance to become more richer Roll Eyes.
2759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: May 12, 2021, 08:20:37 PM
I think it's a bad idea to use trading signal and bots because it might hindered the learning process of a beginner. Maybe as a reference trading signal can be use. Remember that a trader should develop his/her own system that consistently made him/her money.
It also depends on the type of trader you want to be. If you want to be a high variance and a risk-taking trader then maybe these groups can help you because if even 1 out of 5 times they predict something good you can easily recover the loss in the other 4 trades and signals they gave.

If you want to be a stable and solid trader then all these groups, signals and tips will never help you. Neither of the two is better than the other but I would rather prefer solid and recurring profits than having high but inconsistent profit.
2760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling risks during coronavirus pandemic on: May 12, 2021, 07:26:49 PM
Very good points mentioned and was a worthy read. Actually some of them I have done in real life so I was able to connect with them fully.

When you are tempted to gamble online, use that to motivate you to go for a walk or exercise instead.
Exactly what I did when earlier I was gambling too much, I started to go to my gym when I felt the urge of gambling and once I return from the gym I was exhausted which eventually helped me avoid gambling too much.

At times when it was not possible to go to the gym, I would just do some exercises at home and find some way to tire myself out.
