3681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: September 17, 2019, 07:19:43 AM
If indeed the Libra Blockchain only copies and pastes from existing projects such as the Ethereum and Bitcoin Blockchain, it means that the use of the Libra Blockchain is not much different from the current one. So, there is nothing superior here. See some new blockchain after Bitcoin and Ehereum. Blockchain is much lower quality than Ethereum and Bitcoin. I think there is something new created by Libra, so that it attracts the interest of small investors. If only those who invest in Libra only popes have millions of dollars. Meaning Libra has no global impact.
There are so many projects like that already that all they do is copy paste those project and claim to have a better platform than them, but where are they now, they still could not compete with those coins at all, and if Facebook does that, believe me that they will not get anywhere, if they were even going to copy and paste, they should clone the entire system of bitcoin, but would they ever want to give up their power.

They should have also created a decentralized coin like bitcoin, and we will then know that Facebook is really more concerned about the solution they are bringing to people’s challenge and not just the money that they are after. Well, I don’t see any future for Libra because I already heard that the prime minister of France already condemned the project.
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How crypto exchanges secure our funds? on: September 17, 2019, 06:34:31 AM
Marketers can write anything, but the reality looks a little different. If any of the major States need information about their residents, the exchange will provide information. And hack the exchange, as it turned out, is not so impossible.
Just as they did to the almighty binance, while they were just coming from the hacking of stealing fund, there was a hack of data sometimes ago and when it came to that, I knew that something was not right, the act looks fishy to me and like it has the involvement of some giant people in it. No matter how string an exchange is, they can still be hacked.

If you asked binance some years back, they will tell you that they never ever believed that they could even be hacked, and being the best exchange, everyone could really trust their exchange, but unfortunately, they got hacked. So, changelly might be all those things we say they are now but that will still not guarantee that they are completely secured and cannot share information or be hacked.
3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what aspects do you think financial services like banks could improve more? on: September 16, 2019, 07:52:09 PM
Centralized entities have lots of bottlenecks in their processes as a first. KYC takes too long and sometimes redundant.
Aside from banks, financial services that crypto exchanges offer isn't reliable too since data breaches still happen despite their tight securities.
I'm sure there's still a lot more cons for the current system. I've recently heard of SelfKey and claimed that they aim to make a difference in those issues. What are your thoughts?
If they are advised about how their system can be improved, would they take it? There is no single way except they are ready to leave that line of centralization to decentralization and that is how their services can really be of immense benefit to people, but it will indirectly cut their income rate a little which they don’t want because that is what all these financial service operators like banks are all about, which is the main reason why they don’t want to hear about cryptocurrency.

But, I believe that some blockchain experts would still be able to find a way where the interest of the banks can be protected while at the same time running a decentralized system that would make their users quite have the power over their money with them.
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New token project and support make new app on: September 16, 2019, 07:19:14 PM
I'm not quite understand about your question. Most project usually have roadmap.
We can see on their roadmap when they will launch their own product app to be used by the users.
The promises they made usually don't always going according to the plan, sometimes it delays.
You are right, they have a roadmap, and each of their agenda has a tome frame attached to it, so the fact they have not yet implemented it does not really mean that they won’t, they just need time for the project to fully develop, although we have some projects that are built on empty promises, and I would not rely on those projects that much, no matter the roadmap that they have, they are all duplicated ones.

Projects like ethereum, coinmarketcap, binance and the rest have all worked on their applications, though some of them are yet to release it but they really have it in their plan. New tokens that are quickly launching their application to me is not the right step, there are other areas they ought to have focused on first that is more important than the application of play store.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ❓❓❓ What the heck is Ethereum 2.0 anyway ❓❓❓ on: September 16, 2019, 06:49:22 PM
This was very helpful, Ethereum is working with all its best to make their users proud again and they should be commended, let us see if this new product that is to be tested first by them would create another adoption of cryptocurrency like their chain technology created in 2017 and gave opportunities to so many people who would forever be grateful including scammers lol.

I hope this new proof of stake will indeed reduce the level of energy consumption in mining this crypto because it is too much and this is what could give bad impression to the government. Imagine that thing calculate there as what bitcoin takes of energy, it means it is not even in every country that one would be able to mine, but I think with this proof of stake, it would be easier to mine in other smaller countries.
3686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Here is why Cryptocurrency future in India is in danger on: September 16, 2019, 06:01:15 PM
Crypoto currencies are court decisions and committee  decision and regulatory collective decision nt one person decision still crypto legality has long way to go for indians crypto traders untill then it is wait and see time
As it is a collective decision, it would be very difficult for the cryptocurrency to be ban there because of clash of interest within the top people that are holding position in government. Before bitcoin can be banned in India, it has to go through the court process, and what if the judge too is a fan of bitcoin and has benefited form it immensely, so this thing would really take a long time to be ban and I don’t see any negative effect of bitcoin on India because they don’t even use cryptocurrency as much as some countries does and we have not head where those countries complain of their economy going down, but rather, they must have seen some improvement in the economy which would be as a result of the activities of investors and traders in the country.
3687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Mystery Person Just moved $1B worth of Bitcoin on: September 16, 2019, 04:38:12 PM
0.5% is not that much, the fiat equivalent may look quite big to us but in bitcoin, it is not worth what we will be surprised about, people do make transactions on a daily basis and some of them happens in millions, this one is just looking strange to us because we are seeing it for the first time happen once.

If we are to calculate the whole transaction that has occurred within bitcoin in the last two months , I am sure that this is nothing compared to it. Maybe it is a whale that wants to sell his portion and I don't think that should panic us as we still have enough in the market cap, people are worried because it feels it may make the value of bitcoin drop, but if that happens, it would not take hours before the amount replaced through many people that would buy at that lower price.
3688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If core bitcoin community moved from Bitcointalk to Reddit then.. on: September 16, 2019, 02:52:25 PM
If Bitcointalk is dead because "core bitcoin community moved from Bitcointalk to Reddit" then
who are all these people now having discussions on Bitcointalk? Asking for a friend..
I was about blasting you until I saw that you were asking for a friend.  the reedit that he is talking of, I can’t even remember the last time I ever opened it and secondly, there are more opportunities in bitcoin talk than there is in reedit I guess, and talking of reedit, people will better associate with bitcoin talk more because it was created by satoshi himself and you know that people have very high respect for him and they trust more of what he created when it comes to cryptocurrency than any other platform that has something related to cryptocurrency.

You need to also consider the type of discussion that is being discussed in the reddit compared to what is being discussed here, are people even able to participate in bounty projects as much as they do here.
3689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China's plan to sideline bitcoin on: September 16, 2019, 01:50:54 PM
"technology standart designed and contolled by others" Grin
That's why China will never adopt bitcoin. The fear of using a foreign technology that might put their financial system under foreign control. This proves that the PBOC clerks don't understand how bitcoin/blockchain works.
Anyway, their "chinacoin" project is doomed to fail.

I agree with this statement not only they don't want to adopt foreign technology, but even Facebook is also banned in that country and many more things. I guess they want some exclusive rules with their country and they don't want other counties to influence them on something.
That's why they have this kind of hatred about bitcoin because it has not came from their country.
They have hated for another person's project but then they want their own project to be accepted, this is one reason why they are having issue with the united states. No one is even imposing the technology of bitcoin on them, but they should allow people to be the one to choose at their own free will and not impose things on people.

The day they ban whatsapp from their country, I was a bit baffled and I wonder the kind of bondage they do put their citizens! They are not different from north Korea. I have this tablet that I brought from there, till now, everything that I tried to do to get Google play to work on it is to no avail. If they want to create their own stable coin, they are free, but they should at least allow their citizens to have the freedom to choose which one they will be using.
3690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Uncomfortable Truth on: September 16, 2019, 11:20:53 AM
Bitcoin is a digital currency  not a physical currency. People like making use of bitcoin to store up their assets and to make more profit. For now I don't think bitcoin can get up to $20k before the end of this year
The word currency already sum it all, whether it is digital or physical, it is currency and a currency is meant to be means of making payment for something and not just asset as we are using it to be. It is because we are using it more for asset alone that bitcoin has still not developed more than it has now. For bitcoin system to be more effective, there is need for demand to always occur every minute, but keeping it as asset means the demand will just be like once in a whole when we have spare money to make investment which should never be.

If we are using it to make payment for many things that we are using, it will Ben be creating awareness for the coin and you see more people coming into the space of bitcoin to constantly be using it for their purchases.
3691  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did fear cause that sharp dump? on: September 15, 2019, 08:23:59 PM
Sometimes it hurts our economy that we know what bitcoin is capable of doing. I mean we have seen the 20k but I have seen the 3k as well that came after that which means I know what bitcoin do in the big hype bull runs but I also know what it can do when it goes down as well. If you only focus on the hype part of bitcoin than you will not be making any profit during the bear run.

You should always be careful with bitcoin and if you are not than you may end up in the bear run with a whole lot of bags in your hands. That is why I learned to always put up a stop loss in my trades, I may buy bitcoin but if it looks like its dropping than I am out, I am not gonna be one of those people who will wait months until they are back in profit once again.
3692  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2019-09-12] Bobby Lee Suddenly Makes $200,000 BTC Price Prediction on: September 15, 2019, 07:47:32 PM
There is a bit of relevance to his company being a bit of a shady looking thing and him calling bitcoin for 200k prediction, however its not fully relevant. He could have created a wallet that is literally stealing peoples money, that could be a thing however at the same time he could be right about the 200k, just because someone is a scammer doesn't mean he doesn't know what bitcoin is and what can it do.

Obviously, it is a bit relevant because dude is basically trying to convince people of something and if he actually did scammed before that means he tried to convince people for something before and tricked them and he is after it again. However, for something as general as bitcoin price, it is not just about him, many people believe there is no cap for how high bitcoin can get.
3693  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100k within 5 years from now on: September 15, 2019, 07:05:44 PM
If we do not get any major stepbacks then it is totally doable, I mean it is bitcoin after all and we all know it will go up and continue to go up as long as nothing bad happens. Its something that has gone up for the past 10 years consistently without much of a big fall on the bottom line.

Even in 2017 when the peak was 20k, the bottom was 700 bucks which means every single year had a better bottom line than previous year. So, 100k in 5 years is quite a brave estimate but totally possible, it has been coming for a long time, I would like to see the 1 trillion dollar market cap first, that will be a huge major milestone for all of us, nobody really cared when we broke 100 billion dollars but that was a huge deal as well, lets hope for that 1 trillion dollar marketcap and then make sure the whole world knows about it afterwards.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the future of btc and eth? on: September 15, 2019, 05:37:38 PM
yes I also believe that both of them also have a more profitable future in the future, because seeing the price of bitcoin or the price of ethereum now also starts to grow, so I believe they also have a better future
Those two coins can never seize to be profitable because they're still the main coins that we have in the market and no matter what other coins do to want to meet up, they might really not be able to compete with them, because when it comes to true decentralization, bitcoin and Ethereum has given their all to it, but how many of the coins that we have now are willing to give up their control? All wants to create the project and be in possession of it.

If many of these projects were wise, they would have just created a decentralized technology and then act as satoshi acted. Satoshi gave everything out, but he made sure he kept his reward which is the 980 million bitcoin that we are seeing right now, and until other projects gets to operate like bitcoin and Ethereum before they can get it right.
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: September 15, 2019, 04:48:32 PM
You have said it clearly OP. I myself am very much against KYC to bounty hunters. In a way, they could be considered part of the marketing team but not clients. They are basically working for the project and not coming to the project as customers. Not to mention that in exchange to showing their very valuable personal identification documents such as passports and IDs, they will only receive a very small value in tokens.

But we also need to consider that once we are asked by the project to create an account in their sites, we are already considered customers. Once we sign up to to their sites, rules might consider us as clients. And to abide with the existing laws the project might ask us to pass KYC.
A bounty hunter will not always be a bounty hunter alone because his activities can never be limited too it alone, most hunter would definitely at one point explore future opportunities that is available into opportunities in the bounty market, so there is nothing we can ever do to rely shy away from that responsibility that is been imposed on us by the government.

I understand that we have some bad people that have taken advantage of KYC for evil things, but that does not mean that KYC is bad, it is just necessary to guard against laundering, and whatever rule that is application to others will also be applicable to an Hunter. The worst is if we are not comfortable with a project that is requesting for it, we move on to the one that can gain our trust through a reliable team.
3696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: September 15, 2019, 04:25:24 PM
Meh. The top freelancing websites don't support Bitcoin at all (Most prefer Paypal, yuck!). And for a freelancer to get hired fast, he must go to sites with most jobs posted and sadly the Bitcoin-related ones have poor listings.

I don't know what the problem is, actually. Fiverr or Upwork can integrate a third party that can convert the dollar wage to BTC for the freelancer.
That has really been the challenge that I have been having with most freelance sites that I have wanted to join from some jobs that I feel i can do, I mean the genuine freelance sites because we have some fake freelance that do request for money for you to join.

The issue that I have with PayPal in my country is that we are kind of restricted a little because we cannot accept money but we can send and since I can accept money, there is no way that I will be able to get my pay out. We have some though that I can get amazon gift card, but selling the card too is not an easy task. This bitcoin payment would have just been the main solution to this challenge and I hope that these freelance sites will consider us and start paying in bitcoin so we can join.
3697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still excited when there is news about the real Satoshi coming up on: September 15, 2019, 02:58:45 PM
To be honest, with various stipulations among people claiming to be Satoshi, I felt desensitized and the hype went down. Before, I was really looking forward in knowing about the creator who created millionaires and provided opportunities for for people among all the classes of society but I suddenly felt that I need not to know him.
If he ever unfolds his identity to the world, then this would indirectly affect cryptocurrencies and on how we understand them.
That is not enough to make the love you have for satoshi die or allow the hype to meet him somedaydisappear, you should know that we will always have set of crazy jobless people in this world and people who are so used to living on people's glory.

Most of those ones that are claiming to be satoshi are just doing that to created hype for themselves because of their ambition also in the cryptocurrency world, but unfortunately for them, seems satoshi is a spirit and cannot be impersonated, Craig is already facing court case now where he would have to pay some heavy penalty, and I am sure that this is the same misfortune that may befall those other people too if they are not careful. If we just keep paying attention to all those being , we may hate the crypto space entirely.
3698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know where a btc wallet is? on: September 14, 2019, 05:05:23 PM
Who the hell are these guys to have such amount of money, do you know what I million bitcoin would be. These are the guys that are definitely manipulating the market, and moving the coin from Coinbase, I don’t know what their agenda is? Moving it out to another wallet could mean they are moving it out to actually sell, and if they do, that may be a major big dump for bitcoin price, and I would not want to believe that this is what some analyst have seen that makes them say bitcoin will correct back to $8000 before continuing further on its bull run momentum.

It I better that bitcoin end the year with this current price of $10k than that $8k, so that we can start the year with half of the last ATH. This is of great concern, but we will still see exactly what it was moved for.
3699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin actually died ? Yes, more than 320 times already on: September 14, 2019, 04:30:42 PM
I am also fully convinced that bitcoin will not die, because I believe bitcoin will also continue to grow this year, because now bitcoin price growth will continue to increase
Bitcoin still has a very great future ahead of it, it has not even been regulated and it has gained this relevance, with more big firms coming in to use it as solution, with big financial institutions adopting it now and even the likes of Facebook all coming into crypto space, it only shows that cryptocurrency is just about to begin its growth journey, and bitcoin being their leader will be the greatest coin that will be affected positively, so we could only say that bitcoin has come to stay for life, and just with time, many countries now will start adopting it, and even those ones that are creating their own currency like china would realized that it is not about the coin they will create, but what makes people attracted to bitcoin is because of its decentralization.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Invalid withdrawal address entered" when transfering between exchanges on: September 14, 2019, 02:29:47 PM
Before transferring coin from exchange A to exchange B, I believe you already have an account on exchange B, you have to obtain that recognized address for the particular coin that you wish to transfer to.

You cannot be transferring a coin in btc now and be transferring to Ethereum, it would not go, you are even lucky that you are getting such error messages, we have some that will go but get stocked on the network, which that I don’t even know how it is being resolved, but not that you have been given a clue, you have to go back and check If the address you are trying to copy out is the right address, otherwise, you will be getting such error message. Once you are able to get the right address copied out, you should be good to go man.
