381  Economy / Marketplace / Re: $1,000 bounty for Blockchain.COM (not .info) (Updated to $1,500) on: September 21, 2012, 07:06:36 AM
It looks to me like the first post is a firm offer of $1,000 for the domain name and $500 for a verifiable introduction to the domain owner.
$1,500 total
382  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OPEN LETTER to Donald, Patrick & Amir RE: Bitcoinica on: September 16, 2012, 10:52:34 AM

I have repeatedly expressed to all parties that I will absolutely cooperate fully with a receiver or a liquidator.

It is genuinely my hope that everybody who is genuinely owed funds will receive as much as possible.

Until I have received competent legal advice on the matter I will not be signing anything presented by Tihan Seale.

Edit: Advice I am actively seeking.

PATRICK,

YOU ARE A LIAR! [/allcaps]

You lied to my face in San Francisco last month,  and now you are lying on the forums.
Stop lying, and help to return the money to the people it belongs to.

383  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OPEN LETTER to Donald, Patrick & Amir RE: Bitcoinica on: September 14, 2012, 05:28:23 AM
For the record,  I have pleaded with the Intersango trio, both in person to Patrick Strateman,  and electronically to all three of them to sign something like this.
All three of them have refused to date.
I hope they reconsider, and do the right thing.

I still want my 23,000+ Bitcoins back!
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Response on: September 10, 2012, 08:38:00 AM
I don't think Matthew is sorry for anything other than losing the bet.
Below is a not so private skype conversation he initiated with me earlier today.

[9/10/12 3:47:49 PM] Matthew N. Wright: Just wanted to say that I'm sorry for any negative backlash my prank might have caused. I had never intended to take that bet seriously and was laughing for 3 weeks straight for which I honestly thought would be an easy "fuck you", but it turned out I was shortsighted and hurt a bunch of people. That really wasn't my intention and I feel awful. I took the necessary steps for the businesses I'm involved in and have decided to take a back seat to everything from now on.

[9/10/12 3:48:51 PM] Roger Ver: I saw your posts and listed to you on DonkDown Radio.   I don't believe you.

[9/10/12 3:51:15 PM] Matthew N. Wright: Don't believe the posts?
[9/10/12 3:51:37 PM] Matthew N. Wright: Or don't believe that I'm sorry for the backlash of this troll?

[9/10/12 3:51:52 PM] Roger Ver: I don't believe that you intended for it to be a prank from day one.
[9/10/12 3:52:07 PM] Roger Ver: I'm sure you are sorry that you lost the bet.

[9/10/12 3:53:31 PM] Matthew N. Wright: I had discussed the prank with johnthedong, Vicente, and several others beforehand. It was all a show. I heard the arguments as to why it "must have been a scam", but regardless of how it looks, I was caught up in the entertainment.
[9/10/12 3:54:09 PM] Matthew N. Wright: I'm not sorry for trolling the community (it really needed it and I believe I have helped push through some new changes), I'm just sorry so many people who I thought would laugh at it ended up just getting hurt by it. That wasn't intentional.

[9/10/12 3:56:20 PM] Roger Ver: I think your best course of action at this time would be to stop lying about it being a joke from day one.  Then post an apology on the forum telling everyone that you thought you were going to win the bet,  and that you are sorry that you never had the money to make good on your half of the bargain.

[9/10/12 3:59:16 PM] Matthew N. Wright: cbeast has suggested the same thing but I am not sure what an apology would do. Although I know I stepped over a line of sorts, there are people trying to use what I say against me legally at this moment (including Vladimir) and I am not sure what an apology to the community would result in
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: September 09, 2012, 05:02:05 PM
Quote from Matthew Wright at 18 Minutes in:
http://www.donkdown.com/media/DDRadio-2012_08_22_19_00_07.mp3

"The most important part of this is to get people to realize that they represent Bitcoin with everything they do"

Matthew,  you should be ashamed.
386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fastest and cheapest method to withdraw GBP to UK from MtGox IBAN or SWIFT/BIC?? on: September 08, 2012, 01:22:58 AM
phantomcircuit,

How about you stop goofing around on the forum and threatening me over IRC and pay me back the ~23,000 BTC you owe me.
They are currently worth over $250,000 and you have owed them to me for months.

The Bitinstant guys are helping Romney by offering this.  I am sure they will expect a seat in his administration for this if he wins.
388  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: iPhone wallet now available on the official App Store on: September 03, 2012, 10:28:07 AM
To activate the full wallet feature:
1. Setup or access a wallet on blockchain.info/wallet from your computer.
2. Connect your iPhone to the internet via the same IP address that you accessed the wallet on your computer from.
3. Install the block chain app.
4. The app will have full wallet functionality.  Create a new account,  or pair it with an existing one.

If you don't follow the steps above,  it will only allow you to view bitcoin transactions.
389  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: September 02, 2012, 08:52:32 PM

If the above is true,  how are you able to send email / SMS updates each time a payment is sent or received from a particular Bitcoin address inside a My Wallet?
It does seem that My Wallet does know each user's public keys.

Can you elaborate?

Thanks!
390  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: August 31, 2012, 09:03:12 AM
Several people who have recently installed the mobile app on the iphone have not been able to get it to send the confirmation code to their email.

This problem is still being experienced by new users of the iphone app.
391  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitmit - Bitcoin shopping mall (Translators wanted) on: August 30, 2012, 03:10:10 PM
There's more porn and offending material that is not censored.

Is it possible to become a moderator for some of this stuff?

This is needed.
I often show the Bitmit site durring my presentation of Bitcoins to people in Japan.
It would be helpful if there was NOT porn on the front page.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin BillPay? on: August 30, 2012, 02:58:03 PM
Bitinstant is working on exactly this.
393  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bitcoinica Consultancy abandons customers. Bitcoinica to enter Liquidation on: August 30, 2012, 02:48:29 PM
Amir is too busy doing youtube interviews to be bothered with doing the right thing for all the Bitcoinica customers.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dPAAM_5Dkg

Patrick is too busy threatening me over the lawsuit to be bothered to do the right thing and actually avoid the lawsuit in the process.

[18:31:12] <phantomcircuit> ......, suggest to him strongly to drop the suit
[18:31:23] <phantomcircuit> he's going to regret it more than anything he's ever done in his entire life
[18:32:11] <phantomcircuit> that's a promise

394  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinRadio on: August 29, 2012, 03:35:01 PM
I would enjoy listening to any Bitcoin related podcasts.

Currently www.freetalklive.com talks a bit about bitcoin several times per week.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Huffington Post Live - Roger Ver and Brian Armstrong on: August 29, 2012, 12:47:01 AM
I would like to add that Erik Voorhees also does a fantastic job with interviews.
His style is much calmer than mine.

Some examples here:

If anyone has other major media interview requests,  I am happy to help any time.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin.de ad - English animation. Kinda cheesy - but cool. on: August 28, 2012, 12:50:56 PM
Does anyone know who the person in the photo on the wall is?
I am sure he was placed there with deliberate effort.

397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese getting into Bitcoin? on: August 28, 2012, 12:37:07 PM
Sorry but I don't see that this supports your claims at all.

I can't currently go into all the details,  but my math and screen shots are correct.
The screenshot only shows 10% of each deposit.  $100 x 10 = $1000 (~100000 yen) minimum deposit.

If you don't want to believe me that is fine, but I think my past bitcoin reputation speaks for itself.

Feel free to google (Roger Ver Bitcoin) and you will find plenty of background.
398  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-08-28 huffingtonpost.com - Chomping At The Bitcoin - The Ups And Downs Of C on: August 28, 2012, 09:43:53 AM
Does anyone know how to download the video and put it on youtube?

Brian of coinbase.com made this funny photo from the video:

I like this video also.
Does anyone know why they don't have it public on youtube?
