Spain winning the FIFA Women World Cup today is the highlight of my day. Aside from being one of the best teams in the competition and having had a good run. I wanted them to win as a revenge against England for knocking out my country, Nigeria. And right now I am already over the moon because they have already won. They were able to maintain their momentum from the first half until the last whistle. A win for them is a win for Europe and for Africa. They have made history. Congratulations to them and congratulations also to Oceania for the success of the competition.
Spain have won the FIFA World Cup 1-0 against England. Congrats team Spain and England was the favourite for the year. There is big expectation on Nigeria, as the African team to be one among the semi finalist. Carmona made the goal in the 29 th minute and further Spain followed the defensive strategy. I've got the same feeling of OP. This happened long back when I was much into gambling and my mind always think of recovering the losses. For this I used to wake up in between the sleep and gamble. Those aren't necessary and mostly my losing happens whenever I get tempted to gamble hiding from my wife. In such scenario I gamble fast, because I need to make something before she is next to me. It was unexpected that Barry McCarthy would come in to bat at number 8 and play such a brilliant innings. I think the Indian bowlers don't expect that either. However, Ireland provided a good enough target. Even then, their chances of winning are slim. Ireland's bowlers are not world class. Wonder what the odds were when Ireland were 7 down before Barry McCarthy came down to bat. No one expected them to score 140 odd runs in the end. Though it was a win for India, the performance that came from the lower order is really great and a needed one by that moment. As said if they weren't able to score the runs scored could've been less than 100 runs as Ireland lost 6 wickets for 59 runs. It's a big win for the associate team but we shouldn't forget that Kiwis sent a rookie team on this tour and it's becoming a norm for everyone.
Glad that i did not place a bet in this match, in records New Zealand was defeated by UAE irrespective of the team they sent  . Maybe this can be the alternate team, but it should've won the match. Australia women's team performed poorly today and did not work hard enough to win. However, the Australian team is very forward in attack rather they lost to their luck as many attacks were missed from in front of the D box by the players of the Australian women's team. However, the defenders of the Swedish team were very strong and the Australian team could not succeed in the attack.
The Sweden women deserved the third place bronze,they really played well in this Tournament, The Australia team also had a successful tournament regardless of their loss today. The final is tomorrow, England will give their all to clinch the title, but Spain is a team to beat. It's gonna be very difficult for both team. Sweden Women's team deserves to be on the top position. Throughout the tournament Sweden performed well. Starting from the qualifiers the performance is big as most of the matches used to have big difference in the goal count. In the match against Finland it took 5 goals, against China it scored 4 goals. Against Italy it made 5 goals and it was quite dominant. In its important match against USA, the team did well in the penalty shootout and won against Japan. Gave good fight against Spain, but they wasn't able to win against the performance of Spain. Due to rain ,the match is being played by DLS method.At this point, India need 92 runs in 13 overs to beat Ireland.If we look at the score rating, we need 7 runs in every over.Need seven runs in every over which is very easy for India's bestman if he is performing this well in batting.Due to DLS method this match has become very easy for India and I hope they will this match easily.
Finally the match is won by India by 2 runs. Ireland made a target of 139 runs. Rain interruption delayed the match and finally with the DLS method India won the match.
