It was an incredible result. I have not seen this match live. I was very surprised by the result of the match. New Zealand scored only 142 runs in 20 overs. New Zealand set a target of 143 runs with the loss of 8 wickets. But the interesting thing is that UAE reached the target of victory in just 15.4 overs. UAE collect 144 runs in 15.4 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Their batting surprised me a lot.

Mohammad Jawadullah and Afzal Khan bowled brilliantly. Jawadullah managed to pick up 2 wickets with 16 runs in 4 overs and Afzal managed to pick up 3 wickets with 20 runs in 4 overs. Aryansh batted brilliantly in the first match but today he could not collect any runs. Washeem scored 55 runs off 29 balls and Asif scored 48 runs off 29 balls. Due to these two innings, UAE was able to easily defeat a big team like New Zealand.

Having said that it's still a wonderful achievement for UAE as this win came against a full member. Traditional wisdom says that, at least on paper, X(full member) A team should be strong against the associates so overall it's good for cricket.

Injury has taken its toll on Bumrah. I am not sure whether he will be the same bowler ever again. He took two important wickets, but speed as well as swing has gone down.
