Maybe England started playing against Australia today with the plan that there is no option to win, finally they were able to leave the field with a win. In the 36th minute of the game, England scored the first goal, then there were no more goals in the first half, due to which Australia finished the game behind by one goal in the first half.

Australia turned around in the second half, with S. Kerr scoring for the team in the 63rd minute. When Australia got back on level terms against England it looked like the match would be tougher but the next period was all England had.  Later, England scored two more goals to secure their final.

Well, I think that the Australian women's team achieved a lot in this world cup by playing the semi finals. This was the first time they managed to move into the semi finals and one does not expect them to go to the finals. England was very much the favourite to win this match and they played well to reach the finals.

For the finals, I think both teams have equal chances of winning the title and the odds at stake also suggest the same.

Almost any outcome on the semifinals would have been great for the final as well. Now it is really the strongest teams who based on performance deserved it the most to play this final, but if Australia had made it, it would have been no less exciting from an enthusiasm point of view. But I have to say here that I am really interested in watching the match of two great women teams and it will be an intense one physically but also very challenging technically.

Yes, there must be a winner for the third place that is why if the match end in a draw,it must be a penalty shoot out. Penalty is a game of luck and can't be used to judge the best but whoever wins is still the winner of the match.

I watched this competition from the start even I have said before I will not bet because before my bets always lose, as you said Australia and Sweden continued to surprise throughout the tournament that's why my bets always lose when the favorite team is kicked. Now we have 2 important matches ahead Australia vs Sweden fight for 3rd place and Spain vs England for the final match, I'm not going to speculate on the Australia vs Sweden match because I thought it would end in a draw but for Spain vs England it is worth considering. You took out me out of context. In ny post, I was talking about USA performance in the context of the current women cup not the previous. I'm aware that US women has the record of the most World cup titles, with Germany coming second with two WWC title.

Same here. I checked odds in some of the sportsbooks and Australia is ahead (although not by much). Home advantage was no use for them during the match against England, but Sweden is a much weaker opponent. Irrespective of the outcome of this match, we need to say that Australia did well so far in this tournament. Their performance reminds me of that of Morocco during Qatar 2022. Anyway, it is always nice to see AFC and CAF teams reaching the semi-final stage of the world cup. It would have been unimaginable two decades ago.

I'm not too sure, most Australian players were visibly done when their defense wasn't able to play properly and destroyed all their hopes after the 2-1. The 3-1 was clearly devastating.

I think they already lost all their "oomph" to play this game, my guess is that Sweden will win comfortably this match.

Yes, I agree with your opinion earlier, because in my opinion the Swedish team has very strong physical abilities and a very good strategy, because the Swedish team was able to beat very tough teams like the United States and Japan, while the Australian team also showed enthusiasm and quality. which is also very good, therefore this match is very interesting to watch and we will see the results later who will enter the next final.

I don't necessarily agree with these odds, as I believe that England has a higher chance of winning. But I noticed that a majority of the sportsbooks have Spain as the favorites (although only by a small margin). Just made a bet in favor of England in Stake, as the odds looked attractive. In case Spain wins, then I will lose my money.

There is something illogical in the game for third place - two teams that have already lost continue to participate in the tournament (at least formally). In general, I am a supporter of modern formats that are used in eSports - for example, the double elimination system. If it were used, then there would be much less talk about the randomness of results in national team tournaments.

In football we can only make some predictions by looking at previous game performance.  Both Australia and Sweden women's teams have performed very well.  And that's why they managed to fight for the 3rd position. Their odds are also close.  It is very difficult to predict which team will win between these two teams. It's about damn time they do! They have a very decent team and have their team playing at the highest of stands in Europe too, then why the hell not ? Yes, I think Sweden is a stronger team than Australia, if the Swedish women can put up with the way they played against Spain, they will definitely take the third position. I also noticed that Sweden has a higher winning percentage than Australia and that the betting Odds rates on various casino platforms are lower for Sweden and higher for Australia. And if Sweden plays against Australia in the way that Sweden played against Spain, then Sweden will beat Australia by a huge margin. But it is not so easy to predict but if we have a lot of difference in players between two teams which team will play well they will be the only one who will win and occupy the third place.
