381  Other / Meta / Re: Ideas for improving post quality? on: December 31, 2017, 09:07:10 PM
Maybe make a system similar to overwatch in CS:GO?
Few trusted members in the community will be selected as the jurors, when someone pressed "Report" Button on a post that he think is a low quality post the Jurors will get to review those said post and vote whether that said post is low quality or not.
If the majority says the post is low quality, the post will be deleted and the user will be warned via PM, 3 warns and he will get perma-banned.
This will encourage the community to fight spam personally, and should be efficient in combating low quality posts.

I also see that many newbies account are created solely for advertising purposes by sending mass PMs or spams in topics.
Maybe restrict Newbies account from posting links?
When Newbies are posting links it will show up as [redacted] on his post.

Although, I do agree to Theymos's idea to implement forum section that does not have signature, this should be implemented in forum section that has the most spammers in it *cough*Bitcoin Discussion *cough*

385  Economy / Lending / Re: :-[ sad New Year :-[ load 0.035 BTC until 15 Jan - pay back 0.039 on: December 30, 2017, 02:34:56 PM
yeap i read the info, but right my collateral are aprox 0.0008 BTC Smiley but i sure isn't enought
Then you won't get any loans in here, collateral is a must on creating a lending request.
I'm pretty sure ATM open for 24 Hours, try to withdraw your money from there instead of banks?
Or you know, try to spend less money until the bank opens Roll Eyes

Anyway, I'd advise you to lock this topic before you get -neg for creating non collateral loan request
386  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 29-Dec-2017] on: December 30, 2017, 02:19:35 PM
I don't know why you're talking that this campaign is just new while you can see the date it was posted on 9th of October.

And I don't know why there are still applying that thread/campaign while the user who post the thread is not active anymore since 8th of the month.
Yea, I was an idiot for not realizing the date it was posted  Undecided
I'll delete the original post so it won't be confused by the other, thanks for catching my error though
387  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to 'clean' my bitcoin? on: December 30, 2017, 01:43:32 PM
Please stop promoting your services with 3 newbies account, it's fishy and not a good way to promote your service (Although your service are scam to begin with)

Anyway, OP are looking for mixer services
There used to be Bitmixer but they closed down few months ago, you might want to try to use ChipMixer and mix your coins, its trustworthy enough for people to consider it as Bitmixer replacement.

What is the meaning of cleaning the bitcoin? Huh

Is you bitcoin is dirty?

Bitcoin is just a virtual currency and there is no physical structure for bitcoin,so we no need to clean our bitcoins it will be clean in our wallets.Never try to do anything stupid then you may lose your bitcoins by sending some exchange or website.
It means to mix your coins to receive a new clean coin, hence the term of cleaning bitcoin

392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My Coinbase account closed, Help please! on: December 24, 2017, 04:36:13 PM
Have you verified your Coinbase account?
If you do, I'm pretty sure you are banned for good as your data are still inside their server and Coinbase might ban you again when they found out the same data has been submitted by a banned customer.

Have you reached their support regarding your ban?
It's weird as you don't have any suspicious activities based on your story.
393  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Advice for a newbie looking to buy a Miner? on: December 24, 2017, 01:14:51 PM
Thanks for the feedback so far.  I guess I'm a little confused about why 1 person shouldn't mine.  From what I read, is that if you're running an Antminer S9, you should be able to mine 1/4 to 1/3 bitcoin per month.  At today's rate that's 15,000 / 3 (or 4).  Which would be $5000 or 3750/mo.  It would cost me about $500/mo in electricity to run the S9 24/7.  Are the #'s I've found completely inaccurate?
Those numbers were just an estimation, the difficulty of mining bitcoins most likely will keep increasing as time goes on, this will impact your earnings too.

You also will need to consider how much electricity costs on your home/work as mining rig such as s9 will eat a lot of watts from your wall.

Those were just the gist of it, I'm sure there are things you will need to consider, I'd say you'd be better with a mining gpu and altcoins mining
394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to buy bitcoins on: December 24, 2017, 01:06:06 PM
Guys can you tell me what is the website where I can exchange the BTC or ETH?

Do you already have some BTC or ETH and want to sell them or exchange them? Or do you want to know on what website you can buy them?

I want to know about $ to ETH or BTC
Buying cryptocurrency with fiat then?
You can go to your local exchanges, I'm pretty sure every nation has their own 'biggest' exchanges.
Although, you will need to do verification process to be able to trade.

If sharing your information isn't your forte, you can try this forum's currency exchange or Localbitcoin.

395  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where can I sell my business for Bitcoin/Crypto? on: December 24, 2017, 12:52:43 PM
It depends on what you sell as your business.

Is it digital product?
If yes, either build a new website or sell them via third party website such as rocktr.net

Is it physical product?
If yes, the only way is by build a new website and promote it for some exposure, bitcointalk has ad space that you can rent Smiley

With that net profit, I doubt any of these will be challenging task to you Wink
396  Other / Meta / Re: Notice to Theymos on: December 24, 2017, 07:39:26 AM
Your pc are probably already breached by keylogger or you use a same password for every website you've visited.

If your account ever got hacked again, don't pay ransom, instead contact theymos to recover your account.

Although I agree that forum needs F2A
397  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I can't get verified in quoinex on: December 23, 2017, 06:36:49 PM
Did you try to clear your cache and cookies?
Just to make sure this problem isn't caused by your pc/browser try to access quoinex via other pc or mobile phone

If it still happening, then the problem exists on their end and only their techs can fix it.

How long has it been since you contacted them?
If it's still a few days it is still fall under normal response time Smiley
398  Other / Meta / Re: Theme for mobile phones on: December 23, 2017, 05:00:35 PM
I think the forum does not need mobile version as the current interface are clean and simple enough to be navigated by smaller screens.

But, you can try to contact Theymos about your idea

399  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone dealt with Bitcoinearnmoney.com? on: December 23, 2017, 04:46:10 PM
If a website has a domain name of earnsomething.com
It is most likely a scam, a legit company would use their brands for a domain name, not a clickbait name Tongue

Don't put too much trust into whois, it can be easily faked

Only buy miner from a well known trusted source, never buy from other places, especially if its price are lower than Bitmain Tongue
400  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The "C ICO/bounty" is a scam on: December 22, 2017, 02:01:20 PM
Any news? I just did my little job, as I started just some days ago, but... what I read here is depressing.
Btw, at least I gained some experience.
More, as latin people said "spes ultima dea" (hope is the last goddess...)
So, we'll see.
No news so far except that they have remain silent regarding the payment for their participants.

You are a fool if you still believe that they will pay their participants, at this point the C campaign can easily be categorized as scam.

Don't waste your time on this campaign, remove it and try to join another campaign
