41  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ⚠️ Freewallet: the scam project that threatens thousands of customers on: April 11, 2024, 05:13:20 AM
I suggest avoiding suspicious services so you have to be careful before doing so and ask people who have used this firewall, even though it has a list of scams, many people still use it because they don't know about this access and don't understand anything about this wallet, but for years - year so when crypto users look for wallets they find and send funds and deposit them then they get scammed

Because those new in crypto rely on Google to find free crypto wallets, that leads to this scam wallet.
I tried it now, I searched on Google "Free Bitcoin wallet" on the search engine button appears this scam wallet caught the newbie's attention since it's free.
42  Other / Meta / Re: Option to Allow / Restrict merits on the OP Posts on: April 11, 2024, 05:03:01 AM
..why not add another option that we can restrict or allow if anyone can put merit on the post?
Not a bad idea or proposal but I think it isn't necessary.  Why?
Because IMO, the sending of merit still depends on merit sources or the merit sender, not on every OP post created.
Give 1 merit only if you think it's for appreciation or if it's more knowledgeable you can send more than 1.  Don't put restrictions if I appreciate one of your posts even though you didn't need to merit it because you're already at a high rank.

The reason why we've merit sources is to ensure that we don't run out of merit.
Everyone likes merit, so let's just allow merit in every post to circulate and be used as it will.
43  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You will lose more if you DCA without knowledge on: April 11, 2024, 04:40:03 AM
DCA can still be the worst for a newbies,  so I say newbies should stay away from DCA until they have the knowledge of the risk and approach to DCA.
I don't think so.
With basic knowledge and a little understanding of Bitcoin and its fundamentals, you can apply this DCA method which is an ideal way to manage risk in investing Bitcoin.

I may advise newbies to understand first the risk of Bitcoin before investing, it's a dumb idea to invest without knowledge.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I was hacked today and all my bitcoin was stolen on: April 10, 2024, 05:56:06 AM
Those aren't something that will "connect" your wallet, those are the data that'll get your crypto stolen.
I tried it and I clicked the "Connect Wallet"  and I found out that they didn't support Electrum as a selected wallet.  Why?
Why do you ask?
How would anyone know aside from the owner of the phishing site?

If it's because OP mentioned that the link is from r/Electrum, OP didn't linked the said reply so it's impossible to tell how he ended up pasting his private key there.
That's why I was confused about, what wallet OP used, if that's Electrum then the given phishing site didn't support it.
It's not well detailed so I got confused and asked.

Also, trying to support my doubt that only Electrum has a stronger security feature than other wallets that can able to freeze unbroadcasted transactions, that's why they didn't include it.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why most of Exchanges FAIL ? on: April 10, 2024, 05:30:54 AM
I would say that most exchanges are actually destined to fail...
I don't think so, if that is so, we have a decentralized exchange to choose from.
Most problems of those centralized exchanges are combating regulation against SEC, if you're not wise enough for this as an exchange owner, you might suffer from failure business.  We shouldn't let our funds sleep on exchange to avoid possible risk because we don't know when they will be hunted down by the regulators.

The OP was right, we should always consider this, Not your key, not your coins.
Use the exchange to trade (buy and sell) not considering it as your wallet.
46  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buy stake. us account, willing to pay 100U on: April 10, 2024, 05:20:33 AM
I'll try it out with another account first and see how it goes. If it's fun, then I'll consider it.
That isn't that fun to put in risk your money in there.
It could lead to financial loss which I think sounds not good.

You might consider this;
  • Violating ToS
  • IP address login detection (banning account)
  • Lead to possible scam

So good luck if you're still looking but instead creating your account would be a good idea.
47  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: April 10, 2024, 05:01:13 AM
In the year 2010,my best friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he advice me to invest in bitcoin. I felt bitcoin was another ponzi scheme created by scammers to scam innocent people. Today my friend is a multi Millionaire. If only I had listened to his advice,I would have become a millionaire by now.
Lol, it's not too late but yeah, early adopters might get huge profits by now but I didn't know if you can able to hold that much long.
I think you're not the only one in this kind of scenario, it's pretty common.

Many people now talk about missed opportunities when seeing a bull market.

You might be thinking that now your friend sipping piņa coladas on a yacht, and while you're trying to figure out how to turn your old Pokemon cards into a retirement plan.  Just a joke aside! Cheesy
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I was hacked today and all my bitcoin was stolen on: April 10, 2024, 04:40:29 AM
I stupidly shared my key I guess by going to what looked like an extremely trusted site to validate it.
At least you admit it, that was a very costly mistake that you must learn or avoid repeating in the future.
Never share your keys with anyone.
Sorry for your loss but it was an irreversible transaction and there's no way to get it back.

Those aren't something that will "connect" your wallet, those are the data that'll get your crypto stolen.
I tried it and I clicked the "Connect Wallet"  and I found out that they didn't support Electrum as a selected wallet.  Why?
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop paying money to learn trading when you can learn it yourself on: March 18, 2024, 12:00:04 AM
Also, anyone who tells you that you can become a profitable trader in just two months is a liar. Trading takes time to be acquainted with. It takes 3-4 years before a trader can be seen as a consistent and professional trader.
I tend to agree with this, it takes years before you consider be a good trader, I wouldn't say professional because as I see, there's no professional in trading.  But it depends on your dedication to learn in trading, like any skill, becoming proficient at trading requires time and dedication.  The more time you can commit to studying and practicing trading, the faster you're likely to progress.

50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Minimalism in Bitcoin would slow your accumulation process on: March 17, 2024, 11:45:47 PM
Can you teach me how I can automatically set my DCA plan on tier 1 exchanges like Binance or Kucoin? However, I am afraid to keep my money in these exchanges so I may end up not willing to do it but it doesnt stops me from learning right? Perhaps ill just buy when I want to DCA then send it directly to my wallet instead of leaving it in the centralised exchange.
There are always pros and cons when you decide to do this.
Both exchanges you've mentioned are reputable and I think you didn't need to worry about keeping your coin there during this bullrun while waiting for a correction.  It's a tough decision when to buy or consider the DCA way but if you can be able to manage your portfolio that's quite easy for you.

A friendly reminder, set your purchase amount to the amount of money you want to invest in Bitcoin during each DCA interval.
This amount should be fixed and within your budget or you can able to wait until you reach your target profit.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My opion and btc outlook for the next 2 years. on: March 17, 2024, 02:01:13 PM
So 60k-68k is good buying price then from here we go 110k then let's what happens.
But after 110k the next btc lowest support price will be around 30k-40k.
So the main numbers for next 2 years 60k base level then 110-120k and then btc will fall to support 30k-40k(we might see strong support zone on 25k-37k )
Today Im loading up my bags Solana doge xrp xlm ada and eth Tron mostly for up coming alt season.
Not bad!
It seems like you've got a solid strategy mapped out here.
But actually, that's a baseless prediction as we all know we can't predict the market.

I heard this so many times "what's the right time to invest".
Always remember that the crypto market isn't always in the same position, it's very volatile.
Choose Bitcoin and hold it for the long term, altcoins are good but it's very risky to hold in the long term.

For now, ain't thinking about the price will fall, if you've got your profit, enjoy it.
Halving hasn't yet come and I believe we aren't yet on the top.
52  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Solidus Ai Tech Scammed me. Beware everyone! on: February 27, 2024, 11:56:09 PM
Help me to get my deserving rewards. I am asking for my rewards not begging from the team.
It's a part of joining a bounty campaign or as a bounty hunter, the risk of not receiving the reward.
If this is they have a large potential payout that can attract bounty hunters who see an opportunity to exploit the system for financial gain, then usually projects like this will not survive.

It should be the bounty manager who held responsibility for this.
He/she is the one who reaches out to the team for that reward, otherwise, if the team declines the bounty manager must create a scam accusation thread.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want seek advice for experience person on: February 27, 2024, 11:23:41 PM
Actually there are many things here. Where do I start?
It's a good question and we're the same question when I was also a newbie here in the forum.
Where do I begin?
Invest your precious time reading all of those pinned threads or sticky topics that have very important content, that's what you need for now.
The same as other platforms when we're using them, we should know first the terms and conditions, and we should always know the dos and don'ts to avoid restrictions on our account.

We're free to ask and share knowledge here, so don't be shy as long as you follow the rules and guidelines.
If you're here asking how to gain merit, well, forget it, focus on learning instead and it will come to you without noticing it.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cash (Paper Money) vs Monero on: February 26, 2024, 11:57:01 PM
IMO both, but it depends on the situation in which there are advantages and disadvantages.
Using paper money, you can't across to other countries just to pay so you need a digital payment and the best way here is a crypto that has a decentralized nature and also has a privacy-centric nature.

I choose Monero in that way.
Monero's privacy features, such as ring signatures and stealth addresses, provide a higher level of anonymity compared to traditional cash transactions which are only good for neighboring transactions.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recover DOGE from only BIOM details? on: February 26, 2024, 11:30:21 PM
I didn't try this wallet since ain't a UK user but I found out about their support, why not try to ask them and seek help for this problem?
Ask them which proof is needed that you can recover your wallet, it might be the email address associated with that wallet.

Here's the support.

Hopefully, there's a way to solve your problem.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you do better than the youtubers when value is going down? Or what..?=?? on: February 26, 2024, 11:12:16 PM
Social media influencers, the reason for sure is that.
  • just for a content
  • paid shill project that usually scam
  • wanted to gain viewers, creating unrealistic predictions to catch interest

We don't need them if we know how Bitcoin works.
Just educating yourself in trading from technical to fundamental analysis might be an ideal way to become successful in crypto not by those influencers who only care about themselves.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull has Started But Not Yet ATH. on: February 26, 2024, 10:55:51 PM
It's always been anticipated to have a bull market right after the next halving or when even halving is coming.
Now, everyone is waiting for the next ATH which possibly takes month(s) before it will happen.

Lucky for those who have patiently waited for their Bitcoin holding which is not tempted to sell, they will receive a gift at the end when there's a new ATH.  And yes, investing in Bitcoin is still profitable since we aren't yet on ATH.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AppleCoin on: February 25, 2024, 11:56:45 PM
Does anybody know the value of Applecoin
I saw the coin had a huge price crash after listing.
Don't expect it will back to the upon listing on that token on the exchange.
And it looks like not good the price pumping right now.

It seems there's no update on their social media too.
So I don't think that remains worth it.
59  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hyip website offering unusual returns on: February 25, 2024, 11:39:01 PM
Except a newbie and a greedy person will see something like this and still fall into the trap, there are some offers in which the moment we are sighting them, we could have sense the danger in them, if it looks too real to be true, then its not something we should go for, as no any business will be willing in giving a daily interest on investment at such rate when they are not scam, how can they meet up.

There are also cases when people invest their capital in such pyramids consciously, realizing that this is a ponzi scheme. But they consider themselves smarter than others, naively hoping that they will have time to take their money with a profit before the pyramid collapses. And some of them really succeed, but most of them still lose their money.
From the start, we know that ponzi schemes are fraudulent investment scams where returns to existing investors are paid using funds contributed by new investors, rather than from profit earned.  The scheme leads investors to believe that profits are coming from legitimate business activities when, in fact, they are coming from the contributions of new investors, so why do we join in the first place?

Yes, I tend to agree!
Early adopters might initially receive returns and feel like they are benefiting from it.  But how did we know if we join ponzi scheme will last long upon we join?  It's not ideal to join HYIP websites.
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Buy Bitcoin and Bitcoin ETF Peer-to-Peer ? on: February 25, 2024, 02:58:15 PM

P2P? Doesn't exist for ETFs. P2P Bitcoin is the antidote. Not the alternative...
I predict the first scam victim who buys Peer-to-Peer Bitcoin ETF to get scammed this year.
It's regulated and I don't think it becomes a scam since it was made by the SEC.

It's different between the Bitcoin and the Bitcoin ETF.
The true essence of decentralized is on the Bitcoin and the centralized one or regulated one is on the Bitcoin ETF which you don't hold your fund and it's controlled by the exchange.

Don't use any centralized third-party like Bitcoin ETF that is made by SEC, remember always the "Not your key, Not your coins".
