43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is rising suddenly ? on: October 21, 2020, 04:41:27 AM
This is just a minor rise in price due to supply and demand. There is nothing special about this.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Stable At $11K – Altcoins In Green: The Calm Before The Strorm? on: August 02, 2020, 02:56:23 AM
I am very happy though that the shorts got squeezed out real good with this quick 2k rise. With them shorts out of the way, the rise will be much quicker to follow.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is $10,000 on: July 27, 2020, 10:33:15 PM
I don't think we are going anywhere other than then same 10k range we have been in for a while. But this particular minor rise will make other players get into the game and setup the groundwork for the 20k range given that the halving is affecting the market as well. But given the traders involved, we will not go anywhere other than hang around this 10-12k. Any growth will be over the next 4 years leading into the next halving.

No going to the moon anytime soon as far as I can tell.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here are the speculations how $1M/BTC might be possible in 2020... on: June 22, 2019, 06:45:55 PM
We need a large mainstream investor group like Fidelity or Meryll Lynch to allow trading on their own platform. That's starting to happen and if it continues, we will see an exponential growth in Bitcoin prices.

$1 million a Bitcoin would create a market cap of 25 trillion dollars. Where will this much money come from? Well, this money does not need to come from anywhere, its just the few at the end who are willing to pay more which will automatically create this market cap.

HODLER 4Ever!
47  Economy / Speculation / Is the upcoming Bitcoin halving triggering the rise of Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2019, 06:41:09 PM
So we have Litecoin halving coming up. The media is talking about the Bitcoin halving coming up next year. That should push Bitcoin to ATH?

At the end of the day, miners need to become profitable so I think that will force the price of BTC to rise as the halvings occur. Forget 2020, I am more excited about the one in 2024 which will really reduce supply.

Any lost Bitcoins are gone forever and not replaced so that should also reduce supply over time. Scarcity will keep Bitcoin value on the rise over the long term.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: NEW BAKKT game on: June 22, 2019, 06:36:58 PM
How come the Bakkt website does not list their address? And the domain name bakkt.com is less than a year old:

49  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 5 digits - Congratulations everyone! on: June 22, 2019, 06:35:20 PM
If bitcoin crosses 15K, then for sure we will see bitcoin to move near 20K or more. I do not think there will be much resistance after 15K and bitcoin will fly freely after in crosses 15000$. All this is due to the anticipation of Bakkt platform going live soon (https://www.bakkt.com/index) ?

Bakkt does not even list their address on their website and the domain name itself was registered less than a year ago. Its just one of many side shows and nothing more.

50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 29, 2019, 10:45:34 PM
I am eager to see it climb over $15,000 as it picks up a whole bunch of noobs along the way. The I hope it passes the ATH once and drops back down to about $8000. Its so pleasant to see the noobs left holding the bags as they did at the end of 2017.
51  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you think Bitcoin will be by the end of 2019? on: May 29, 2019, 10:35:55 PM
Anyone predicting anything is a waste of time. It could be over $20,000 by end of year or back into the low $3000 we have no idea where it will go.

The issue is that if it goes up in price, people will take profits and if it declines, people will cover positions.

I would like to see a speculation filled frenzy based climb off into the $30,000 range to set an all time high. I like it when BTC sets new highs.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the moon again!!! on: July 24, 2018, 07:24:39 PM
BTW there is the reward halving coming up in 2020 so that may already start to get factored in over the next two years from now. Miners will not be able to sell their BTC at current prices in about a year at all so the price is bound to rise.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price goes 8000 above :) on: July 24, 2018, 07:23:12 PM
The rise of BTC will drive the rise of some cryptocurrencies! For example: ETH.OMG.EOS!
I think this BTC will slowly rise and will not fall again!
There are a lot of news that a lot of money is entering the market of cryptocurrencies, which is a good news!

Actually ETH, EOS etc are staying where they are. Its only BTC which is rising and taking up market share. Its up to 47% down from about 35%.

Corporate news is causing positive lift for BTC.
54  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long will this bull run be? on: July 24, 2018, 06:19:50 AM
This is not just a normal spike, all of the indicators are positive including Divergence, MACD over EXP, CCI etc. The volume is just normal though. The indicators alone may drive the spike a bit more but I don't think it will last and it will stay below 10k. There have been quite a bit of positve news and Bitcoin has captured quite a bit of market cap recently to stand over 46% right now.

If this trend holds, we may see a nice spike towards the end of this year.
55  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to 8k$!! Is this recovery or a trap? on: April 13, 2018, 02:42:08 PM
No one can predict which way the price of Bitcoin will go in the next month but in the long term it will go up. As we head closer to the 2020 halving, the price will rise to adjust for that halving. Miners are not mining for free.

Though some indicators are in the positive, some indicators like MACD and EXP are still negative so be careful out there.

For those that are looking to make a quick buck, sell out now and take your profits because there is no guarantee, it will not go back down to 7k or less.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bottom for BTC price? 6K or 5K even lower? on: March 29, 2018, 08:50:54 PM
rather there are good news coming of adoption of technology everyday.
Hmm, can you link a few of such examples please? AFAIK adaptation is fading every day. Less and less shops offer bitcoin.

And you don't want to give examples of these less and less shops offering Bitcoin?
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where is the bottom for BTC price? 6K or 5K even lower? on: March 29, 2018, 08:50:29 PM
It is very hard to predict bottom at the moment. Market is tumbling for no reason basically there is no FUD news no banning crypto rather there are good news coming of adoption of technology everyday.
Its just manipulation goin on so no TA is gonna work to predict bottom.

Crypto advertising getting banned on Google and social media is not something to be taken lightly. Just imagine how would any company advertise if they loose these channels. That is severely affecting the price of crypto in general.

To understand the severity, can you give an example of something banned for advertisement on Google or Facebook other than crypto?
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: User sjefdeklerk is spamming FUD news on: March 16, 2018, 05:57:01 PM
Guess you missed the 2500 BTC buy in one 1 minute candle swoop this morning on bitfinex alone..  Followed up by another! People with that kind of money don't buy a depreciating asset for sure.  Now imagine that on all exchanges.

Well my point is, people like that make the price. And I HIGHLY doubt people like that form their opinions based on what they read on this forum LOL. Those < 1 bitcoin people hold here, who cares about that? I find it really funny people get all worked up here because someone is posting news they don't like.

Its INTERESTING that you only find negative news INTERESTING!
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: User sjefdeklerk is spamming FUD news on: March 16, 2018, 05:56:23 PM
I miss TEH DUCK. It was more fun at that time.

I truly miss the DUCK. He/she was very sporty and provided much needed humor to this forum. :-)
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: User sjefdeklerk is spamming FUD news on: March 16, 2018, 05:22:02 PM
He has been doing that because he is SHORT on BTC. His whole purpose is to reduce BTC price. He should be banned as such.
