I am using facts. I quoted four of those facts (out of dozens if not hundreds in your post history) earlier in this thread. You're a shitposter. But you managed to find a loophole by expanding a typical one-line shitpost into a whole paragraph. This seems to make moderators not want to read much of that shit and you get a pass. It's cringy how your pea brain made that into some sort of high ground that allows you to bitch about other users breaking the rules even though that didn't even happen (again, trust ratings are not subject to forum rules). I do not consider positive news from either side about itself as credible, as i do not consider negative news about the opponent from either side as credible. Logical no? Let me give you an example, Russian sources saying that Russia was withdrawing from Kherson (with whatever positive spin they tried to put on it) was credible and groundbreaking. Russia sources talking about some Russian supersoldier that single-handedly defeated battalions of Ukrainian soldiers, or how happy RU mobilized soldiers are that they're on the front lines are not so credible. And this works the other way, The Guardian claiming that Russian economy is about to collapse, how RU military is just so demoralized, Putin is terminally ill/already dead/clone/Hilter/Nazi is not so credible, The Guarding covering US neo-Nazis leaving Ukraine in credible. Each side will exaggerate news positive to them, but will reluctantly cover and will try to soften negative news by trying to put some positive spin on it.

There are advices that will be given but newbies will think it's one of the means to prohibit them from trading, if you're a newbie, don't open any trade option without comprehending with appropriate knowledge what the marker is all about, I don't want the mistake that happen to me repeat itself to any one I've known or seen online. Yeah, you're right. A newbie ought to become practically balance and accurate in triggering open trade and also closing trades on demo account for preparation for the main tasks ahead, before hooping for the real acounts.

The issue with driving is not due to the truck. The tyre tread is the biggest factor in its off-roading capabilities. The article you posted says it itself. The stock tyres that the truck is delivered is garbage for offroading. If they put offroading tyres as stock the range and speed of the truck would be a lot less in everyday situations. Its common sense really, you don't offroad with highways tyres and you don't drive on highways with offroad tyres. People who want to take the truck off-roading or who live in snowy/iced areas need to buy the appropriate tyres.
You will always have these videos every now and then of people who don't know how to use what they have bought properly and posting their failure on social media to giving Tesla a bad rep. And always goes viral because its a new product and its electric. But if you look past these short nonsensical clips at the design, manufacture and capabilities of the truck, it really is an incredible vehicle.
I'm not talking about off-roading nor does the article I linked to. The truck seems to be struggling on a driveway that other cars got through, including what appears to be a Model X in the background. So either Tesla is putting utterly useless (for road driving) tires on it, or the idiots driving it have believed Musk's BS about the truck being a rugged go-anywhere bulletproof self-driving boat and are not actually driving it. Both kinda bad things. |

Maybe digaran is a troll, but none of his negative feedback is due to fraud or based on trade. Well, that is not a sufficient reason to immediately suspect that he will scam someone.
The reason he hasn't scammed anyone yet is likely because he never had a chance, i.e. no one would have trusted with an amount worth scamming. However his overall attitude IMO clearly tells us that he would do so given a chance. For example my red trust on him is based on the fact that he was asking money for a service that he couldn't have possibly been able to deliver, i.e. blatant fraud attempt. But if you read the reference link, you would see that it was nothing but trolling. i.e., he wasn't offering a service to remove red tags for money.

(2) Maybe posts shouldn't be able to be edited/deleted once they've been merited? (This one has a nice symmetry/feel to it: merited posts are presumably worth reading or otherwise contain something of value, so "freezing" them once they've been merited makes sense, IMO. This would need the same special-casing as (1): editing a merited OP should still be allowed.)
This would get a bit silly if I want to correct a grammar error in a merited post, or e.g. replace imgur links. In Ratimov's case, at least his self-mod topics should have been locked by admin instead of just letting those topics disappear or even helping him out by removing thread stubs. He could have been temp-banned once it became clear that this is an abuse of the self-mod feature. I think it's overkill to inconvenience everyone because mods/admins were too chickenshit to act on one case of forum feature misuse/abuse. (3) Maybe deleting merited posts should "undo" the merit and refund the sender(s)? (I kind of like the tit-for-tat here: if posters have the power to remove useful content, then merit-givers should have some mechanism to get those sMerits back. But, this interacts poorly with self-moderated topics, and gives those topic-starters the power to sometimes "delete" another user's merits. I guess that could be special-cased, but it would be pretty clumsy/awkward.)

There is an issue on the plagiarism thread that says is you change the words a bit but the meaning is the exact same it is also plagiarism. So he is saying no one can have those terms without quoting him.
Why is that a problem? It doesn't have to be quote tags. You can put it in bold etc and credit LoyceV, perhaps more clearly though than in your original version, and you won't get banned, if that's all you're worried about. However using quote tags for something that can be linked to on this forum is the more convenient way of doing this IMO, so why are you so opposed to that? Sounds like you're trying very hard to invent a problem and diminish the plagiarism issue based on a few out-of-context examples. Plagiarism is a big issue. It's damn near impossible to plagiarize "accidentally" or whatever your point is here. You're doing it consciously if you're just copying some text that you didn't write, and not adding a reference to it. Instead direct all this effort towards making it as clear as possible that you didn't write the text that you didn't write, and everyone will be happy. Still saying it is a set of terms that all people renting their signature should be able to use without quoting it simply because it is that good.

All common sense things to do unless for some reason you're trying to make it look like you created the text that you didn't create. |

I think he was just throwing a fit and trying to do as much damage as he could before leaving. I doubt he cared about plagiarism when he decided to sell the account. It would have been the buyer's problem, who could just say "I bought the account" and get away with it. Even if there was no sale, he could probably log in from a different VPN/browser/etc and tell theymos "I bought the account". Much easier than deleting thousands of posts. |

Almost correct, except it's up to anyone (not just DT members) to decide what the "standard" is. Anyone can have a custom trust list and choose which trust ratings they want to see by default. Having a DT-red rating does not prevent you from participating in the forum as we can see. It doesn't even prevent you from sig-spamming so the only complaint you can possibly have is that it's easier for a casual observer to see all your clownfuckery when there are reference links to it on your trust page. Perhaps not great for you but good for the forum as a whole. |

Also, if two members are in an argument or disagreement,. Can they use the trust system to tag each other's arguments just to tarnish each other's reputations? Something like an emotional use of the trust system, whether positive, neutral, or negative. Is it allowed in the forum?
