101  Other / Politics & Society / Re: So... is Venezuela going to invade Guyana? [ONGOING?] on: December 08, 2023, 12:34:36 AM
Our government has used the excuse of the sovereign over the Esequibo in order to awake some patriotic sentient on people to boost their positive perception among the population, they have done it before and it was all a circus, a distraction, politicians going around the continent trying to lobby in favor of our interest over that land, it always happens right before the government needs votes.

I have obviously never heard of Esequibo before, but how important is it for ordinary Venezuelans? What do your history textbooks say about it? What do the maps show? Do most people actually consider it part of Venezuela that was unfairly taken away, or is it more like "meh, bygones be bygones". More like Falklands or more like... I don't know... Koenigsberg... no, that's too recent, maybe like Alsace–Lorraine?

Does Venezuela even need more oil? I thought it already has enough to make it super rich, if the government was a bit more... uhm... normal.
102  Economy / Reputation / Re: Response to Icopress on: December 08, 2023, 12:02:31 AM
OMG what I did so bad!
I did not take it as unethical that he contacted my clients with his offer of sponsorship.

[...]

But what airfinex did was unethical and it's not the topic today.
I am just trying to understand if you got a clear understanding in your mind about the persons.

The two different scenarios I was talking about were (1) Poker Player (allegedly) and/or airfinex contacting your clients and (2) you contacting icopress' clients. I re-read my posts and I don't see any mention of icopress talking to your clients so I don't know where you got that from.

If you think that (1) was unethical, then you should also apply the same standard to yourself and not do (2), or at least admit that what you did was also unethical instead of starting this fallacious counterattack.

As for icopress discussing something with your clients, his post didn't make it clear if he messaged them first, and in the end he decided against it, so I don't think this compares. If anything, it shows that icopress has more consistency in his words/actions.

That's not going to solve the problem that rose. I will wait for Icopress to exchange our words. Everyone else can just ignore the topic please.

Even more of a reason to lock the topic and do this via PM. Why start a public thread and then ask to ignore it.

Edit: grammar.

Paging Hispo... we need an insider to tell us what's going on.

Sounds like some insane populist delusion but what do I know...
104  Economy / Reputation / Re: Response to Icopress on: December 07, 2023, 10:45:47 PM
I mean that if you consider one scenario unethical/unacceptable/etc, then the other one likely is unethical/unacceptable/etc too. Consistency.
Of course it's consistency. I did not think it was unethical so I did not mind Icopress, as a manager he can reach out to anyone.

You did not think it was unethical for someone to message your clients with the warning about you? That's news to me.

Or you're just trolling me now, which makes this thread a big joke. Lock it and move on would be my advice but I know you won't listen.
105  Economy / Reputation / Re: Response to Icopress on: December 07, 2023, 07:21:43 PM
Uhm.... weren't you complaining at some point about someone messaging your clients behind your back?

That was about user airfinex, Poker Player. None of them were campaign managers. Nothing related to icopress or any other manager. Manager to manager things should not come open like this, Icopress could just PM me and ask for reasoning since he thought it was about him only. It was not necessary to post it in several places like one here, another here. Who knows he was considering to make more posts about it in all of the places where he was considering would be look him good and me bad. He knows the best.

When you complained about Poker Player, if you had said something like "this would have been ok if you were a campaign manager looking to poach my clients"... actually it would have made even less sense to me but at least you would sound somewhat more consistent above. Now it just sounds like you're making up excuses.

I understand that this that way to you, i.e. others messaging your clients - bad, you messaging other manager's clients - good. However:

1) For the person sending the messages, it looks reasonable to warn someone that they're doing business with an untrustworthy (in their opinion) user.
2) For the person receiving the messages, a warning about someone's untrustworthiness they can just ignore if they don't care, or perhaps they didn't know and it might be good to know. A message from a competing manager... they can ignore as well. No huge difference although I personally would be more annoyed by promotional messages, if at all.
3) For an outside observer, no big difference either way. Someone messaged someone about the business they're doing on the forum. As long as it doesn't break forum rules (which promo messages might be more likely to do but I'm not sure).

Edit: When I say "no big difference", I don't mean that this is acceptable or unacceptable in my opinion, I mean that if you consider one scenario unethical/unacceptable/etc, then the other one likely is unethical/unacceptable/etc too. Consistency.

I know icopress to be a very reasonable person, and I know you're a great manager but perhaps a tad too sensitive when someone says something about you... I mean look at the threads you tend to create on this board. If you did nothing wrong, you did nothing wrong. Threads like these won't help you prove that - likely the opposite, having to defend yourself on something like this makes it look more sketchy than it probably is.

handing out subscriptions for free unlimited Russian gas

LOL behold geopolitical expert again trying to make it sound as if Kremlin never tried to bribe western politicians or even entire countries with petrodollars and cheap gas... still not able to connect the dots on why this brilliant strategy didn't work though.

You need to work on your reading comprehension skills. Thought it was obvious, no? West/US has exponentially more resources and a global reserve currency, that's why they engaged in financial expansionism. Russia is not even in the same weight category on the financial field. That kept going until "west" got to Ukraine which Russia drew a red line at, and demanded a written reply to their security demands from US, think we all can guess what US wrote in that response (can't wait until it's declassified), so Russia switched to military engagement. Then in the beginning Russia again tried to negotiate peace but then Boris Johnson said that WE MUST CONTINUE THE WAR, and here we are. But just because Russia cannot compete globally on the financial field, doesn't mean they can't do it selectively, which i think they're doing rather successfully in Hungary now. Instead of challenging the whole block which would be a financial suicide, Russia just needs to send cookies to the weakest link from the block with a veto power. Now west is forced to apply yet another double standard, pay for Ukrainian army, politicians, civil servants, retirement fund, support Ukrainian currency but at the same time try to justify why Russia and China cannot do even half of that because...reasons.

The only thing obvious is that when you bullied someone in the playground and got your face bashed in, you would cry and complain that the other guy didn't play by your made up rules and/or turned out to be "not even in the same weight category". Your verbal gymnastics is impressive. However if you're trying to establish "new world order" or whatever putinists call it, then it follows from said gymnastics that you either miscalculated bigly or are just plain lying.

Richest country in the world, ruled by the greatest leader of all time, does not have enough resources to compete in the global markets or at least not suck horribly, and the lemmings still can't figure out why.
107  Economy / Goods / Re: ~ Buying a TESLA CYBERTRUCK with BITCOIN ~ on: December 07, 2023, 05:41:54 PM
You think a smart PR move would be to give them to people who would advertise for you?

I think that's exactly what they did. I barely use youtube but my feed is full of cybertruck "reviews", not sure why, maybe I accidentally googled it from my throwaway android account. This "influencer" shit after the fake "delivery event" is probably their strategy in selling the truck that's 3 years late at twice the promised price.
108  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ratimov sold his account on: December 07, 2023, 05:30:41 PM
Imagine someone else using my account: how long would it last before it's exposed? I hope it doesn't even take a day!

I'm sure that one could feed your posts to one of those newfangled AI/ML thingies and produce somewhat coherent LoyceV-like posts for at least two days.

As for Simwhatshername (can't be bothered to remember how many Ms and Ys there are, sorry), the current owner of the account is such a clown that regardless of whether it's the same person as the original owner or not, there is very little reason to trust them with anything. But I find OP's observations quite interesting and credible, and considering the password change I'd say ownership change is likely to have happened.

You seem to be utterly confused and just rambling random words at this point. But i can see why https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/12/04/ukraine-counteroffensive-stalled-russia-war-defenses/ Long read probably beyond your attention span, but gives a sobering coverage of the failed counteroffensive and the finger pointing between west and Ukraine. But everyone already knew that, the bigger question is what happens next, now that Russians had even more time to make more mine fields and build defenses, and now Ukraine is lacking manpower. Looks like Ukraine solvency and existence will depend on the clown show in Washington next two week until congress will go on Christmas break, how many month will they extend Ukrainian aid for, range seems to be from 0 to 11 (November elections)

Nothing to do with what I said.

I don't understand the reason for your cognitive dissonance. There are subjective countries in the world and objects of their influence. Russia is a subjective country, Ukraine is an object of its influence. Ukraine does not have actual sovereignty, even if it has all the formal characteristics of a sovereign state. If this is news or revelation to you, then you don’t understand anything about politics.

It seems to be news to you that Kremlin is lying most of the time, including about how they're pissing away your country for no reason other than misplaced ambitions of a deranged gnome. Or you know it and just don't care.

Its not "Kremlin propagandist stuff", western media called them nazis too...before they stopped
for propaganda purposes

Except western media didn't invade Ukraine so that they could justify killing Ukrainians by calling them "nazis".

111  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 05, 2023, 02:40:31 AM
USA tried to replace Russian sphere of influence by destroying Russian one, employing nazis
to do that for them. So Russians battle it by fighting Nazis and protecting Russians

replacing a language is part of changing the spheres of influence

[...]

Why wouldn't the west sponsor neo-nazis to fight against Russia once again?

LOL you've been massively lied to about the purposes of the "special operation" but you're fine with that because it was never about "nazis" or anything... just some good old genocidal Russian imperialism that you adore so much. I'm just not quite sure why you're shy to parrot all of the Kremlin propagandist stuff, not just select bits. You're skipping the parts about nuking Berlin and London and all that shit, as if you don't really believe it perhaps, yet all the things about "nazis" must be absolutely true. No cognitive dissonance?
112  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 04, 2023, 08:55:37 PM
this conflict is simply just about expanding spheres of influence

What happened to "protecting" Russian language in Ukraine, and "nazis"?

Funny how even when you admit being lied to, you're still trying to find ways to justify your stupidity.
113  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: December 04, 2023, 07:28:02 PM
At least you tried to draw attention away and change the topic right?

The topic is Russian invasion in Ukraine, not really your personal diary and wall-quoting yourself.

Do you have anything to say on-topic, or is it just Cuba, Taliban, Israel, Taiwan etc? Seems like every problem anywhere in the world exists only to justify your fuehrer's actions. Might be great in your current condition but sounds utterly absurd in the real world.

No sadness in these here parts.

Well, TBH I'm not too sad either, what with Deebo hauling in all those TDs.

This is the year for niners, right? Smiley

not sure how you could put a positive spin on that, go ahead now you can sign the new agreement at even worse terms but your losses weren't in vain because you protected NATO  Huh (even though NATO was fine in 2013)

Not sure how to tell you this, but you're arguing with yourself here. Sorry about your mental illness, perhaps taking a break from the internet would be beneficial for you.
117  Other / Meta / Re: Does Loyce, Bpip & Ninjastic collecting IP-data of visitors? on: December 02, 2023, 11:36:58 PM
Obviously I can see everyone's IP address in my hollowed-out volcano lair. For example korner's IP is 127.0.0.1 and the Queen of England has the same address so take it for what you will.
This is illegal right, doxxing someone's IP address? Wait the Queen's still alive? Will they be doing a remaster of the Bohemian Rhapsody? Or maybe just the song Under Pressure?

"Another one bites the dust" might be more relevant to the queen's current... uhmmm... status.

Is your bpip site is slow because you collect the most user data or is it a problem with your hosting? Are you using JavaScript?

No, I'm just lazy. Shoveling all those bits into the intertubes is hard work.
118  Other / Meta / Re: Does Loyce, Bpip & Ninjastic collecting IP-data of visitors? on: December 02, 2023, 02:07:00 PM
I found this website that has literally everyone's IP address:

http://icanhazip.com/

Scariest website of all the intertubes. Don't click!

Queen of England HAD the same address, she is dead now, but maybe new king of England took over the IP address  Cool
Are you interested in selling this valuable information?

Sounds like a solid business plan, let's test it out. Would you like to buy your IP or should I sell to the highest bidder? Wink

(wondering if I should add "j/k" but I think various humorless timelords will archive it as proof of abuse and corruption either way)
120  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 02, 2023, 01:10:05 PM
How about we also ban advertisement of Services such as Peach?  How about we ban Currency Exchanges on Bitcoin Talk completely.  For all we know, the largest Network of Cryptocurrency crime could be right here.  Executing small but constant Peer to Peer trades to wash their traces away.  Or using Peach for even more Privacy.

You might be on to something here. I think the safest thing to do would be to ban any mention of Bitcoin on this forum. Then we can all safely post vapid chatbot-generated texts on the Bitcoin Discussion board, peddle some shitcoins here and there, and maybe run a few scams in the marketplace (but obviously take only PayPal payments).
