41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: January 05, 2024, 12:48:31 PM

Yeah, spot on.

The first step in actually coming back from an addiction is to realize that the gambler is to blame for their own actions. Not anyone else.

People are quick to blame others, but they rarely take responsibility of their actions when they lose.

Gambling addictions and the blames that goes with it will take a new turn when people finally realise that whatever we do is entirely our own decision, hence, our own responsibility.

I mean, how can you transfer blame on a thing you consciously got yourself involved in, part of the reason why we have irresponsibility ravaging loads of classes.

If we all understand that there are consequences for our actions, therefore, we should take responsibility for our actions then gambling loss blames will stop

Yes, you're right in what you said, dude. It's not right for us to shift the blame to other people if we lose in gambling. Because everything that is happening in our lives today is the reason why we are here today.

It means that for all of us gamblers, it is a matter of choice as to why we entered this field of crypto gambling. Maybe we want to know what there is to gambling in the casino, and maybe we also want to experience getting a jackpot while gambling.

But there are a lot of people blaming other people. For example, if an influencer was sponsored to show gambling videos on their channel, other influencers wouldn't accept this kind of sponsorship deal because they know that people would get addicted to or have their lives affected by the gambling that they shared, as it will attract their followers to do it, and the worse is that the blame is on them, even if it is not directly stated because If they haven't shown that video, no one will get addicted to it.

Crypto investment vs real estate investment : Which one more dependable in the future
Though have been in the crypto space for quite some time now, I knew little about crypto. A friend of mine just introduced me to real estate investment.
Which one should I go for with a capital less than $2500?

Is it that $2500 is too low for a capital investment in real estate? That includes maintenance, which is very costly. This depends on the person, but I do suggest doing both to know what is your path and what you like, because others may say that investing in crypto means you earn while you are still at home and learning it, while in real estate you are going out and marketing your houses. This really depends on preference for a person but as you've asked here for sure people will answer crypto as the majority of us want it but if we do have a chance, then we do both.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How possible is it to win lottery 14 times using mathematics calculations on: January 03, 2024, 01:02:04 PM
So it means he beats the lottery system? I am not really sure of this unless he is cheating. It is impossible to win 14x in the lottery unless that person is very lucky, which is again close to impossible. Also if you win the lottery you won't bet again, unless this kind of lottery is just a small win. I haven't read the article but I just based it on the title. If that person is only using formulas to win the lottery then for sure there are tons of bright minds who have even made a computer program to calculate it easily and win.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anyone else know there is an Insured BTC wallet? on: January 03, 2024, 10:03:16 AM
I just found this place, it says it's insured up to $50,000. It's just astonishing that after all this time this is the first place that does that. Called bankofblockchain.us Insured against hacks, why isn't this a standard for pete's sake. I just feel everyone needs to know this.

It is nice that it is insured, but the problem is that it only covers up to $50k. And what if you have two bitcoins and you got hack or them, so you only get $50k? It is pretty useless. I've tried visiting the website but it takes forever to load on my end so I can't see the website. I'm not sure if people who own tons of Bitcoin will apply to them due to the amount that you will only get unless you just mistakenly read how much was insured on their website.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I Too Broke To Own Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2024, 12:18:40 PM

In practice, I barely earn more than $3000 from my job, my wife's mortgage, and other demands waiting to snap up the money.

I'm not sure where you are living, but this is already a huge income for us, but you might be living in a first-world country where living expenses are too high and as you stated you've been paying something. Even though your salary is huge if you do not cut your expenses it is still the same that you do not have money for savings or investing. I will answer you straight away, you are not too broke to afford Bitcoin, you just need money to pay debts and there are still people in the same situation as you but take into consideration that even others have smaller incomes than yours but still manage to own Bitcoin.
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2024, 04:22:13 AM
I just know that investing in Bitcoin is extremely profitable.

Don't invest blindly without knowing or understanding what Bitcoin is. I am sure that you just want to invest because of the big return that your friend told you, but you didn't notice that your money is also at risk and has a high chance of losing it because of your lack of proper knowledge and probably emotions. What I suggest to you is that you learn Bitcoin first. Watch a couple of videos on YouTube and learn it before jumping to a conclusion on investing directly.
47  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online or offline gambling which is more safer? on: January 01, 2024, 04:21:41 AM
When it comes to gambling, nothing is safe whether online or offline because that is gambling and still you are putting your money at risk, and there is a high chance that you will lose it. But if we take a look deep into a couple of advantages, we could say that offline is safer because you can't gamble anytime and anywhere, unlike the online one because you can access it with just your smartphone but in offline you'll need to go there physically and sometimes you are lazy just to go there.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 26, 2023, 02:18:46 PM
It is still a good fight as Tapales reached round 10 and most of the people said that he cannot surpass round 6 which is surprising he did because of how he defends himself. It is still not as easy a fight as we thought because of the ranking and how far Tapales is from Inoue. It is the prime of Japan right now and mostly there are no Filipinos that can fight Inoue as of the moment. Congrats to all who bet and won!

51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 22, 2023, 04:48:32 PM
It is not right to gamble with borrowed money. Also, we should not use bank loans to gamble. We should use them to meet our necessities. I think you have engaged in very wrong behavior. I hope you can repay your debt in a comfortable way and return to your normal life. I only gamble for fun. Most of the time I bet only the price of a cup of coffee, so I really see gambling as a hobby. I hope that your experience will be an example for others and that they will not repeat your mistake.

They are not thinking of the outcome of it and are blinded to hoping to win more of it and pay it off in no time. Maybe others do this, but I notice only those rich people can do this and pay it off but for us normal people you can't easily do  this and if you lose you have a hard time paying it off. That is why it is not recommended to do this. Mostly what I noticed about these people doing this is that they are addicted to gambling and are not able to control their emotions which is why this kind of person needs help.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 20, 2023, 01:28:39 PM
It been a big challenge in most country since the fuel subsidy and bad economy some country  are facing.A lot of people find it difficult to feed themselves and families, Now it Christmas season alot of people don’t have transport to go their various stats due to the high cost of transportation,  bad road and insecurities in some nation, some many lose intrest. As a good country the government should have free bus for less privileged to travel home for season like this.that why cryptocurrency should be taught free to individual with serious mind, with the rate of overpopulation and poverty in the country it something everyone or most people suppose to learn because the world is going digital and our currency is not appreciating compared to other currencies and the value is so low.that why am suggesting that Bitcoin and altcoin should be taught free of charge and the knowledge should be pass to the younger ones since they are the leader of tomorrow let see how it can reduce the rate of poverty or eradicate poverty entirely in every Nation. The world is suffering and Bitcoin should be introduced in every nation and should be freely

Learning Bitcoin and Altcoin is free online, and it can be learned by anyone. It is not like wealth or physical money that needs to be transferred to you, it is your own will to learn it and eventually earn from it. Though the opportunity is there, it is not guaranteed to reduce the poverty on it completely. There may have been others who moved to the middle class before, but there are still only a few people on it and again it is difficult to rely on it. Now it is better to find a job to feed you.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 15, 2023, 05:19:17 PM
If we are talking about full time - it is, of course, poker. To make a good living at it, you need to constantly improve yourself, finish psycholgical courses, try to do sports. There are few successful poker players, but why can't you be successful? There is always a chance

I'm not really into card games, but I just got curious if you can really make a living on them. Because whatever gambling game it is, it is not a wise decision to make it as your source of income. As you know gambling is a business, and it was made for entertainment and those owners make a profit on you. Maybe others are successful at poker, but for sure they have enough money to spend on it or start on it, unlike those new people who have nothing and will think they can make a living on it.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 14, 2023, 01:34:57 PM
A bank is still needed no matter what you say because you will use it when you transact some money. Let's say you receive money from other people as well as in our investments, like in crypto, when we plan to exchange it into our fiat we will probably receive it from our banks. The way we treat crypto right now is mostly as an investment, and only a few use it like a bank. You haven't noticed, but you've been using the bank ever since unless in your area you can spend crypto there, so you won't need the cash.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 12, 2023, 02:49:02 PM
I'm preparing for the college entrance exam to go to college, so I can't make money from working. I get about $100 of allowance from my father every month. I use all of them to buy bitcoin because I can use father's credit card for expenses such as food, clothes. I can buy Bitcoin on a satoshi basis every month, but when I see people buying Bitcoin basis on the internet, I feel like I'm too behind myself. Maybe they have a much higher income than me because they have a job. I think I can only invest $100 a month for the next year or two, would that be enough? I am worried about missing big bull market with halving and etf approval.

You shouldn't compare yourself to others, focus on yourself. Buying $100 worth of bitcoin a month is better than not buying a single penny of it. You are too worried because you feel it is small, but you don't think that there is a person who is buying Bitcoin for only $10 per month, as that is all he can afford. You are still not late, buddy. You are still on time for the ride. Just think in a positive way and not negatively. Just imagine that you have a chance to invest bitcoin, but others do not as they do not have money.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers should not believe in first game win trap on: December 11, 2023, 01:50:13 PM
I noticed there has been some topics about how first time winning is dangerous. What I am saying is someone that has not gamble before, to gamble and win. That it is dangerous. Yes it may be dangerous because the person may have the exciting mind to gamble more  and lose. But that is not the whole true story.

If not talking about the first time loss gamblers that later become addicted, what you are saying is not completely true. If we can do a survey of gamblers that won or lost in their first game, the people that will chose won can not be 100%. They might not be 70%. It may be 50%. Some people will gamble for the first time and lose and continue to gamble. The main reason is because they think gambling is a way money can be made. Unless they change their the way they think about gambling, that gambling is is not a money making means, first time win or loss is not necessarily the cause of their addiction.

Gamble with the money you can lose.

What's even more dangerous is that casino and gambling companies know this, which gives them incentive to engineer their gaming platforms to give new players more wins after they've just registered. They will likely have statistics showing that even if they give a player back more than their deposit amount during the first few days of consistent play, they'll be able to get more out of the player long term. So not only does the player face a trap of their own making, there is great bias for the gambling site to psychologically trap someone too.

Just imagine if a person signed up on the gambling platform and on his first five attempts all were a loss. Would he still be back to gamble? Not right. This kind of marketing strategy means that the gambler will come back the second time, which means that there is a huge chance that he will deposit a huge amount of money but the result is he will lose it. Though I am not saying in all aspects as I do believe in gambler's beginners luck as I have experienced this mostly in physical gambling, right now in online gambling it is hard to determine if it is gambler's luck or if they just do it so that you will come back.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: December 10, 2023, 01:10:09 PM

2. diaper rash - parents wouldn't mind if their kid's diapers are already full during an economic crisis and are not neglectful when it comes to the diaper turning yellow during an economic upturn.

This is also what I've noticed. Even though it is disgusting, others will clean it with soap and water and again it can be worn again. It is a disposable one, but they will reuse it because it is expensive to buy a new one. Even some of my relatives, I do see them buying the diapers cheaper than they used to buy them before because of the price and even others will now be using a cloth and making it like a diaper just to save money. I've noticed everything is not the same as before. Even now that it's Christmas, you can't see lights at the houses because it's very expensive, as well as the electricity. They will spend more on other necessities than buying those decorations.
58  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: December 09, 2023, 05:33:17 AM
This giveaway has ended and the announcement has been made, reposts have reached 674 - the prize of up to 300 USDT will soon be distributed to 10 winners and I am one of the winners there. That's pretty exciting Bitcasino.

Congrats BABY SHOES for winning the giveaway!

I want also to send my huge appreciation as one of the winners on that giveaway. I never expected I would win since I rarely join those kind of promotion. More power to Bitcasino and cheers for more years to come!

59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 08, 2023, 04:19:35 PM
All of us might be the same, the only difference is that others can control themselves properly like even when they feel angry they are still able to control it, not to the point where you will scold your kid because of just a few small mistakes. I am the same with you. Sometimes I lose a lot but this is rare because I rarely play but mostly I easily lose my temper after the game so what I do is that before talking to other people I let myself cool down first.
