Hello. A couple days ago i am open an account on HotBit and opened a wallet deposit address for BEAM. Stared mining BEAM at a SparkPool with success with address from HotBit. Now, just now, i am logged to a HotBit to check BEAM transfer from a SparkPool to HotBit wallet deposit address and i am horrified  BEAM wallet deposit and withdrawal address are blocked... No deposit and no withdrawal... Oh my God Any other exchange or some advice what to do?! TNX I have successfully used chainrift to buy beam. Hotbit is mostly fake volume created by bots, better to avoid that one. I think they have closed deposits. |

Hi I sent 16.5 Beam from Hotbit to my wallet but wallet history says FAILURE and I dont receive my Beams I dont understand what is the problem. Am I lost my Beams

No they don't. They get 40% of the treasury fund. The treasury fund is 20% of all mined coins. and 40% of that 20% is reserved for the private investors. I reckon this project has done right. It never pretended to be anything that it is not... it's a startup business and startups need funds. We can all see the sheer amount of work going into this on a daily basis and as far as i am concerned, i can mine and my coins stay in my wallet it's all good. There is always a risk with a DAG like mimblewimble but with the funding this project has, it means they can choose which developers they want to assist when needed. I have every confidence in both grin and beam. And of course, old skool pools like http://beam.sunpool.top really turn me on... its like 2011 all over again Does this mean that 8% of all mined BEAM is paid out to the 13 Corporations in the 'Investors' section of the BEAM website every quarter year forever? Beam is not unlimited supply, so not entirely "forever". The 20% treasury tax is only taken during the first 5 years. Do not treat us like fools. You must file a police report about the 7 btc that you have been robbed, and at least present that documentation to the people who will not collect the BTC that they have stolen from you. If they do not present it, if there is no complaint about the hack, the logical thing to do is to think that something is happening, or they have stolen yourselves, or simply they are not a company or pay taxes or anything. Right now I'm going to investigate where you are from to send an email to the authorities that charge taxes. I have a company and I have my name, or vat number, my address etc ... and you have something ?. or are a group of cronies who have made a crypto outside the law. I am not the one who has to prove anything, it is you, the ones who have taken the money, the ones who have to prove that they have stolen it. And the words do not work for me, we want a police report that reflects the theft. If you do not present it, everyone will believe that it is a lie and that you have stolen yourselves. And more when now they have decided not to open again safe.trade, they will change their system. Much safe, and more safe and you are very unsafe. They only have the name. But what is your company? Due to beam being very new tech, it's always advisable to ensure that your wallet is at the correct block-height before initiating any send or receive. I learned this tonight when I had a wallet stuck at a block previous to the current block  |

for these reasons alone, you should NOT be mining there. if you do not know why, you simply shouldn't be mining.
Spark working normal. But if you don't like Chinese language, you can reconnect to another pool. I receive >16 BEAM's :-) if 'working normal' means you are happy to let them hide which blocks they mine, then feel free. it's got nothing to do with language. Is this from a previous experience with another currency or do they do this with Beam? If so, how can we verify this? you can verify it by trying to find the block list of the pool - you won't find it because it's hidden. It's true that they'd better be much more transparent, but having said that there's no way to audit ANY pool, even when they are displaying all blocks found by the pool. The only way to come close to auditing the pool is to see how much your miner is earning over a period of time with the network difficulty throughout. I'm not supporting their lack of info here but don't trust a pool just because they are displaying the blocks, as far as checking pool integrity, it's worthless information. This also is true, there are many many ways that a pool op can skim the coins you mine but it is also easy for a pool op to list all payouts from each block at the UI, which would encourage miners to feel more trust for a pool. |
