401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't mind losing $ 500 on: February 03, 2018, 02:59:58 AM
Dogecoin? If you wait and buy it at 15 satochis. But you have to wait that the price drop. [...]

Right? People never get tired of that pump and dump, even after all these years. However, if past performance is any indication of the future (and it should be, particularly in the case of an otherwise dead coin) DOGE won't see anywhere near the returns OP is after (not that most coins will, of course).

But if we're all just shilling our favorite coins here, consider investing in Specter.ai (SXUT and SXDT) OP. Both tokens are still rather recent, and are only traded in EtherDelta (plus Bibox for SXUT), both currently below $1 (~$0.55), and SXDT is a dividend token, which will start paying out sometime after their platform is ready at the end of March. So, please buy a lot of it guys, so that I can eventually sell my tokens at a nice profit. Tongue
402  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best indicators for altcoin trading on: February 02, 2018, 08:15:15 PM
I am doing trading with altcoin from last six months but not able to make good profit.
Can any anyone please tell me the best indicators for altcoin trading for both short term and long term trading?

I'd recommend you check out TheChartGuys on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnqZ2hx679DqRi6khRUNw2g/videos): his videos cover several markets (Cryptocurrencies: BTC + ETH + LTC + one or another Altcoin; Gold; Oil; Weed; etc.); uploads daily, and goes over the trades he made since the last video on the subject; and often has real-time trading videos. I'm not much of a trader myself, but I've learned a lot from him - if you're still (relatively) new to the space, his videos are definitely worth watching.

As for indicators, from what I've seen so far, he mostly goes for very simple stuff: price levels, volume, RSI and, much like BrewMaster suggested above, keeps an eye on what Bitcoin is doing at the time, regardless of what specific coin he is trading.

[...]

How can you make good profits now when everything is in red.
There is nowhere to go and even Ethereum was down now for $100 dollars even though it is still at high value if you look at it per week.

It is like everyone is dumping all the coins and tokens and nowhere to be found. Even bitcoin is down and if they have sold it for BTC then we should be seeing it now.

Question is where the hell are all those money going?

To fiat. Tongue

But, even in these circumstances, there are still ways to profit when trading: for example, with oversold bounces (the guy from the channel I posted above does this often, apparently quite successfully).
403  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go down to $5000 on: February 02, 2018, 07:16:17 PM
It is really funny. I remember there were many posts on forum 2 months ago about price to 40k, 100k and even 1m.
Now we see many posts about price fall to 8k, 6k and 5k.

Those predictions are not mutually exclusive, of course - we're just taking the scenic route. Smiley

Don't have a magic ball for you but if I had to take a stab at it I would say about 20% chance that happens. I think it most likely won't but there are some individuals here convinced this will occur, that is why I fear give it 20% Cheesy.

There are individuals here convinced of all sorts of things: that bitcoin will go to zero and / or is a distraction to avoid the masses buying up all the silver; that reptilian aliens control our governments; that climate change is a Chinese conspiracy; and so on... you probably don't want to waste your probabilities with most of them (unless they can back it up). Tongue
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next ATH of BTC on: January 28, 2018, 03:39:37 AM
The next ATH could be in March with 40k. Many technical analysis say that and I think this is quite possible as Lightning Network will be released.

When will lightning network be released?

Officially? I don't think anyone knows for sure, but that hasn't stopped people "testing" it out in MainNet - there are already over 200 active nodes (and more popping up every day), much to the annoyance of the devs: https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-lightning-network-problem-people-already-using/. Cheesy

There is no putting the genie back in the bottle.

EDIT: close to 300 nodes now (and 800 channels): https://lnmainnet.gaben.win/.

Jr Members can no longer have signature links.

  • Until ITO ends
  • Yes, you can participate some weeks and leave, you will get payment anyway
  • Will be paid when ITO ends
  • No, posts in local boards will not be counted

Thanks Tactic. If there is still room for one more, I would like to join the signature campaign.

Hmm, just a few questions, if you don't mind:

  • how long will the campaign last?
  • will it be possible for users to participate for a couple of weeks only, then leave the campaign and still be paid for the period they participated in? Or will users have to stay until the very end of the campaign?
  • will participants be paid regardless of how the ITO goes?
  • are posts in local sections counted?

Thanks.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO][BBB] 🔮 LiveTree ADEPT [SED]: OWN THE FUTURE OF ENTERTAINMENT! 🔮 on: January 15, 2018, 12:00:45 AM
Sylon, could you please clarify something for me? In the Bounties Buy Back section of the OP, you mention the following:

[...] Note': Bounty is only available after the min. raise has been met which is approx. $1.5m [...]

Does this mean that none of the bounties (including the signature campaign bounty) will be paid if the token sale is not successful, or that the Bounties Buy Back specifically won't be an option if the amount raised doesn't reach the $1.5 million? Or did I completely misunderstand everything? Smiley

Thanks.

Cheesy

Sorry Arteezy.rtx - I ended up not having any time to post these last couple of weeks, but thanks for letting me participate in the campaign anyway. I'm removing the signature and avatar now.

Good luck with the project (and the tokens) guys. Smiley

I suppose I never got to actually enter the signature campaign, but I thought I should let you know that I'm leaving anyway. Smiley

I've edited my enrollment post accordingly.
418  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Campanhas de assinaturas que aceitam posts locais on: December 12, 2017, 09:11:08 AM
Têm uma vagas abertas, se for rápido consegue. Eles pedem 15 post na sessão GAMBLIM (n sei escrever)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2528724.160

Quanto a onde "despejar", provavelmente no EtherDelta?

Smiley

Entretanto juntei-me a outra campanha gerida pelo Sylon: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2416401.0.

@Pattart
@u9y42

The three of you have been removed from this campaign due to being on the SMAS list.

That's unfortunate, as I'm not a spammer, and I'm not even sure how I got into that list in the first place.

But anyway, you should probably add an indication to the OP that you're not accepting anyone who has been added to that list.
