An exact number of 100 bet slips must be made during the competition to qualify for prizes (no more no less). Euro 2016 in France starts on 10th of june, i really hope the next competition be ready, I little wonder that? Well, we'll likely miss the start; this round ends June 1, and we'll probably have to pause the competition at that time (as usual, to consider ideas participants might suggest, what changes need to be made, and so on) - but we'll see how it goes. In relation to the 100 bet slips: participants can of course do more than 100 valid bets, if they wish; those additional bets will however not be counted in the competition (that is, they will not affect the participant in any way).

I think the daily challenges are a great way to keep people engaged. Having a different goal for each day also adds excitements as it increases the total number of prizes I was wondering if late registration was possible? Or once the event starts is it locked to any other potential participants? Yes, late registration is possible, as you can see in the rules (in the first few posts of this thread); participants can join, or use the multi-entry feature up until May 16. |

There will be many addresses where I do betting as I use electrum, and I think you should make the number of bets to 50 minimum, I am one of the tipsters who like playing only 1 or 2 time maximum per day.
How does it work from now? Sorry for asking ,first time in this competition although I have been invited many times by directbet.
Withdrawing my application, have to be focused on my premium tips, and since it is a minimum of 100 bets, I can't offer quality tips then because my time will not be as usual to study my premium tips. Congrats to the tipsters here, wish them all luck.
Sorry but, at this point in time, we have to keep the 100 bet minimum (the competition will be starting in less than 12 hours) - perhaps this requirement will change in a future round of the competition, if most of the participants are in favor of such a change. However, please notice that there are no minimum bet odds, so reaching 100 bets is not a problem in itself: participants can focus most of their attention on a subset of the total required bets, and place safer bets to fulfill the minimum - I understand this might not be ideal, but it would easily allow you to participate and have a chance at the prizes (top place prizes, daily prizes, and participation prize).
Hey, count me out then, I'm allready at arround 60% winning rate using directbet and I withdraw most of my winnings keeping only arround $10-$15 for betting at all times.
I was sent an invite on my mailbox for this and I didn't read the rules propperly it seams.
I'll come arround another time if I make my betting capital larger.
We understand, and you are more than welcome to join us at a later date. But let me just point out that you don't actually need to deposit your starting bankroll anywhere, nor for that matter actually have such amount - provided you can place the 100 bets throughout the competition, that is enough. |

Just want to ask, I use ETH in my second entries whether if the end of the competition There were a few participants make less than 50 bet. Whether the prize still X2 because using ETH to bet?
i think the condition wil be like this : participants less than 50 qualified bet the prize cut half and x2 then because you used ethereum to bet. for example : 1. 1,000 mbtc - 50% (because the 50 requirement qualified bet not reached) = 500 mbtc then x 2 (because you used ethereum) , interested additional offer fro the competition!. So it mean i'm still get x2 although the requirements are not met because use ETH? Well, those are two separate things, and are treated as such. So, one is the 50 qualified entries requirement; that is, for the top place prizes not to be cut in half, we need at least 50 entries making 100 valid bets each. Another is the x2 top place prizes promotion for those using Ether. So, using EdenHazard's example, let's say you reach first place, while using Ether, but we get less than 50 qualified entries in total. Your prize will be 1 BTC (plus participation prize, and daily prizes, but let's forget those in this calculation). The 1 BTC final prize will come from the initial 1 BTC, which was cut in half due to less than 50 qualified entries (so 500 mBTC), and you receiving double your prize because you were using Ether (so 1 BTC total). |

In the invitation PM I have received it says free to enter, but here says I have to have 0.10 BTC as starting bankroll? I am confused, if its sponsored by the house (directbet) I would like to crush the competition as I consider my self one of the best tipster of the forums, yet I like sponsorship. Well, the competition is free to enter - there are no admission fees, or any other such things and, in practice, you don't really have to have the amount you declare as your starting bankroll (or deposit it anywhere); however, you do have to fund your own bets. But that's all, really; not only do you keep the profits you make during the competition (which doesn't happen in all competition formats) but, if you are a regular tipster, you also have the added bonuses of top place prizes, daily prizes, and participation prize, sponsored by DirectBet (and note that the participation prize covers most of the starting bankroll anyway).
