1361  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ballcoin price falling?? on: January 28, 2016, 05:52:52 AM
Sorry it was bitcoin!

Subject changed to reflect

& when i was watching it dropped from $392 down to $380 in ten mins.

Hmm, I think you have to edit the Subject in the opening post, for it to actually affect the thread itself (and not just edit the Subject in one of your other posts).

Why is the price falling at current???

Perhaps this is still related to the "Hearn news" - or maybe some whale trying to take advantage of it to buy cheaper coins? Or it could somehow be related to the poor performance of the stock markets. I guess we can only speculate about it at this point.

Either way, I'm not very concerned about it; I imagine it will go up again eventually - maybe tomorrow, maybe in a couple of years. Tongue
1362  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ganhe Bitcoins enquanto joga on: January 28, 2016, 02:30:36 AM

1364  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ganhe Bitcoins enquanto joga on: January 27, 2016, 12:13:28 PM

Smiley
1365  Local / Primeiros Passos (Iniciantes) / Re: Como ganhar bitcoins? on: January 27, 2016, 11:47:55 AM

1366  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Ganhe Bitcoins enquanto joga on: January 27, 2016, 05:48:54 AM

CasinoTycoon.com/?i=723.
1367  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlecoin.org - Multiplayer bomberman clone on: January 26, 2016, 11:50:20 PM
Hey ppl, a sad anouncement today, I decided to halt the development of battlecoin and get a dayjob, I'm too poor and website is not earning enough yet, and searching for investors seems like a very slow route. (will keep looking so something might change in the following months, we'll see)

will get back to it, and work on it when I catch time, but won't have the time to work on it full time even though I really love this project.

Seems like I'm a little late to the party. Undecided

Anyway, I tried playing this Bomberman game and, aside from the low number of players online, I had two issues with it:

First, the very high ping (> 300ms), which made it almost impossible for me to play; however, my net definitely sucks, so that's most likely my own fault. Smiley

Second, the game, as it is now, is just too basic: there are no abilities to manipulate the bombs, like you see in most Bomberman games (for example, the kick, punch and throw abilities) - without these, the game turns out to be very repetitive after a while (and easier to exploit with bots). I doubt this, by itself, helps explain the lack of players (most users who posted here, so far, seem to have liked the game as it is), but it does seem like a major flaw to me.

In relation to the lack of players, one thing that could perhaps help retain some of them a little longer would be to include some basic bots for users to play against, while waiting for others to join - just sitting in the lobby waiting doesn't work very well. Sad
1368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IV FREE Tipster Competition - win up to 1.9 BTC! (Discussion Thread) on: January 23, 2016, 07:15:10 PM
lol that is true, it's funny to see you in first and last at the same time (not wishing you any bad luck, just saying it's funny)
What is also very interesting is this multi entry thing, I never thought that it would work so well for some players.

Top 7 spots right now are being paid for 4 players, and if Omikifuse manages to close that gap and goes to 7th we could see 7 prizes paid to just 3 players. Hope to see this multi entry thing again, and see if anyone can place 3 accounts on Top3 xD

Bitbollo and Omikifuse were certainly close. Smiley

And, if I'm not mistaken, Omikifuse managed to get his third account in the top seven a few days ago, temporarily displacing mrs.van.braam, but eventually lost the position again (I assume some of Omikifuse's recent bets didn't go so well, as mrs.van.braam didn't place any bets this last week).

I would like to remind everyone that you need to place the minimum number of bets (70 in most cases) to qualify for the participation prize. Also, without the minimum of 50 qualified participants (which we haven't reached so far) all prizes will be cut in half, as explained in the rules (including the participation prize).

E aí pessoal. Eu me inscrevi na Yobit Signature Campaign.

1370  Other / Off-topic / Re: One Piece on: January 21, 2016, 11:37:38 AM
I've heard about it and it was recommended to me but I haven't seen any of it yet.
I'm kinda saving it since it's not finished yet.
I like to binge watch everything

Don't do it - at over 700 episodes (plus a number of movies), you're going to overdose. Wink

I hate it.  Childish show that goes on forever, filled with entire useless episodes like Dragonball Z  Roll Eyes

The best anime are shorter, and filled with actual story, that leave you wanting more once its over.  Movies are good for that reason too - no BS scenes just to pass the time (for the most part)

I've "only" watched some 500 episodes of One Piece, so far, but I must say I share some of the frustration with the endless amount of episodes and scenes that, under the guise of giving more depth to the story, do little or nothing to advance it - some of them by providing background on the characters or events (that, for some reason, they felt we really ought to know), some others mere reviews of previous episodes (or sometimes, reviews of events that happened, like, in the last 5 minutes, in the same episode).

That said, I can't really say I hate One Piece; it annoys me to no end when they're just wasting time but, when they're not, it can be very entertaining, and even "action-packed". If they were to reduce the number of episodes to, say, one third, this would definitely be one of my favorite anime.

Hmm, and for Full and Senior Members as well (compared to the latest updates in this thread, at least). Smiley

Selling POTENTIAL jr member account for 0.0025 BTC each

-~3 Posts
-max potential activity 42
-Neutral Trust
-accounts did not post any BTC address before

I'm interested in all of them, but please allow me to understand this: what's the problem in posting btc adresses? I wasn't aware it was a risk. tks

I assume it has something to do with the possibility of, in the future, for some reason, other users asking the then current owner of the account to sign a message, and potentially choosing an address from one of those initial posts - which, unless the private keys were also transferred, the buyer won't be able to do (so, in short, it's probably more work than it's worth).
1375  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 18, 2016, 02:49:52 AM
Betking.io has a fairly long history of paying out gamblers, sometimes paying out thousands of BTC. I would put their trustworthiness in the same league of primedice.

I don't think using escrow is necessary in this case, although things can obviously change in the future.

I noticed PocketRocketsCasino made the same point; however, the truth is things can, and often do, go wrong for a number of different reasons - sometimes because someone scams; sometimes because of simple miscommunication; sometimes because it was just a bad day. Tongue

That's why it helps having a trusted third party, not directly involved in the exchange, just in case (and yes, escrows can also scam and run away, but that's no excuse not to take precautions).

1377  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Illegal European Journalism In India. on: January 17, 2016, 05:51:46 PM
Past, present & future practitioners of illegal European journalism in India will not get away with it.

If you don't mind me asking, what is "illegal journalism" in India supposed to be (European or otherwise)? Are you referring to some form of misinformation being spread? Or, perhaps: investigative journalism; journalists that depend on sources engaged in illegal activity; reports on corruption, poverty, slavery, and other forms of social evils?

I ask this because, depending on the circumstances, it's not usually a good sign that journalism starts being described as illegal.

Added Xotika.TV without escrow -> http://pastebin.com/Bh3NW7YB

We can edit that in once its confirmed, if we tag it as "has escrow" its misleading.

Agreed. OP updated

Fair enough. However, it seems that the BTC initially sent to SebastianJu, when he first took the escrow from the Xotika.TV campaign, is still sitting in the same address1 - it might just be the case that SebastianJu never lost the role, despite the campaign stopping for a few weeks (and so, he might have thought it unnecessary to mention it again). But, better safe than sorry, so I PMed him about it; hopefully, we'll hear from him soon. Smiley

Greetings everyone,

First of all, we hope everyone had great winter holidays and we wish you a Happy New Year!

For Xotika.TV, 2016 starts with biggest influx of camgirls and some major updates:
We implemented a HTML5 VIDEO PLAYER for our users who often DO NOT HAVE FLASH available or they use mobile devices.
Viewers should be able to notice a HTML5 toggle button below the player.
With the latest version we also implemented desktop notifications for streamers and viewers.
These updates are part of our compatibility/performance series, with more to come soon as we plan the exit from beta.

This being said, our new WEEKLY SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN is open with 5 open slots!
Escrow, Terms and conditions are the same as before. Interested Hero/Legendary members, please reply with your intention to participate.

Thank you and good luck!

EDIT: made a few small corrections. Also, SebastianJu hasn't yet confirmed he will be the escrow again (I imagine that won't be a problem, but thought I'd mention it anyway).

Hmm, I was looking at the possible bets in the 2016 Presidential Elections (US Politics) category, and noticed that Bernie Sanders wasn't included (either as Democratic Nominee or Next President) - do you have any plans to include him? Please try again now. We put it back.
