Hahah congratulation Patt0  Cheesy
whether the bet is less than ROI valid? I saw most of the betting 0.001 BTC

Hmm, are you asking if Patt0's bets are valid? Looking at the Leaderboard, he has 32 bets so far, which is the same amount of bets shown in his profile (https://directbet.eu/Competition.cshtml?Competitor=patt0) - so, all of those bets have been counted as valid. Considering his current bankroll and bet stakes, what I suspect happened was that he made a number of bets at the same time, so the stake he used was still equal or above 1% of his bankroll at the time he placed them.

[...]

Yes sorry for not being more clear. I was referring to the case where two (or more) users have won the same number of daily challenges at the end of the competition. Sounds like you'll cross that bridge when you come to it Smiley

Actually, we've already crossed it. Cheesy

Hello everyone, regarding the questions about the Daily Challenges prizes, here is an update that explains how we will handle things in case of a tie.

- In case of a tie in the Daily Challenge normal prize (the 30mBTC):  The normal 30mBTC prize will be paid to each participant

- In case of a tie in the Daily Challenge final prize (the one we double the Daily Challenges winnings during the competition): The ROI% will be used as a tie breaker.

If you have any more questions, please let us know!

And, that's it; this campaign is now over. Again, a big thanks to all of you for your help. Smiley

Hello guys, just wanted to add that with that win, Free1bitco.in has taken the lead in our Daily Challenge competition. He now has 2 wins, congrats!

Remember that at the end of the competition, the user with most Daily Challenge wins, will see their Daily Challenge prizes doubled!

Good luck!

What happens in the event of a tie for the Daily Challenge competition? E.g. Two users have the same number of daily challenge wins. I'm assuming the prize money is simply split among them?

Was answered in the last competition. If nothing changed, then all the winners will receive the prize

Hmm, I think he was referring to the new prize we introduced in this round: the one where the participant with the most Daily Challenge victories at the end of the competition will get double the Daily Challenge prizes (so, 60 mBTC, instead of the usual 30 mBTC).

If this is what he was referring to, then, as FrueGreads posted in the last page, we'll have to see what the solution for a tie would be - we'll let you guys know as soon as we do. Smiley

If EngiNerd was referring to what happens in a normal Daily Challenge, when two participants get the same score at the end of the day, then you're right: both participants will get the prize (30 mBTC each).

What is the today's daily challange?
Is it again 1.2 odds or higher and the most wins win?

If someone wins the challange, are they able to keep the btc, or must it be gambled?

There is a rollover requirement of 1000 loyalty points, before the daily challenge prize can be withdrawn.

As for the first question, please see my answer to your PM.

1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VI FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- (Discussion Thread) on: May 06, 2016, 06:05:13 AM
Thanks, DirectBet.

That being the case, the winner of yesterday's challenge was Free1bitco.in, with 5 consecutive winning bets placed at odds above 1.2.

Well done, Free1bitco.in. Smiley

Please PM your playing wallet account to Michelle (DirectDice) who will personally fund it with the prize amount.

Uh oh...alright, who cheated? Wink I kid, I kid...

In all seriousness though, mad props to u9y42 (and others) for their response time during this event. It's pretty impressive to see consistent response times in mere minutes.

Thanks, EngiNerd, we appreciate it.

But no; no one cheated, don't worry. Wink
1049  Economy / Services / Re: FREE Tipster Competition (sponsored by DirectBet.eu) Signature Campaign on: May 06, 2016, 02:57:57 AM
thanks so much the campaign was amazing joined last Thursday and was good to promote the massive tournament Cheesy

Thanks for helping us promote it, srgkrgkj. Smiley

Do you guys know yet whether you'll be running another signature campaign for another week? Or is this it?

Also, I was curious why over 50% of the weekly required posts have to be in Tipster threads? Wouldn't you guys want your avatar and signature posted all over the forum?

We haven't decided on whether we will run this campaign again, but if we end up doing so, it will likely be to promote the VII Tipster Competition. Wink

At that point we might consider changing the campaign requirements, but the truth is this is a relatively small, short lived campaign, so we're not sure targeting outside the gambling area would be as effective (however appealing having our posts all over the forum might be Cheesy).
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VI FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- (Discussion Thread) on: May 05, 2016, 10:58:42 PM
Sorry for the delay, everyone. We will have to postpone the announcement of who won today's challenge, so we can verify something - we'll get back to you on that one as soon as possible. Wink

As for the next daily challenge, the winner will be the participant with the highest number of wins during the day (minimum odds @1.2).

Hello and thank you for the quick reply!

Yes, I've been playing them the exact same way I did with my first entry and they both have the same bankroll I believe.

I've been using the second address when I place my bets, I always place the second address on the 'Enter the Bitcoin address where you'd like to receive your winnings :' field so everything should be correct right ?

Thank you!

Yes, that should be it. I've asked DirectBet to look into it.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VI FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- (Discussion Thread) on: May 05, 2016, 10:07:37 PM
I'm done with my first account so I thought I'd start betting with the second account I had registered.

When betting with it for the purpose of the competition I should be receiving my won bets on the btc address registered and that's it, correct ?

https://directbet.eu/Competition.cshtml?Competitor=ChasingCarsEU%20(2)

Because it doesn't seem like they're counting :/

Thank you, cheers Smiley

Hi, ChasingCarsEU. Hmm, just to make sure: are you certain the bets were placed with at least 1% of your current bankroll? Also, I notice you have made some bets today with your first entry; could it be that you used the address of the first entry, instead of the address from the second entry, by mistake?

Hey, everyone. We're coming to the end of the campaign period for those of you who joined last Thursday, so feel free to start removing your signatures and avatars.

For those who joined us last Friday, we'll talk tomorrow. Smiley

Hi Can you tell me how i participate in this ?

I got your message Smiley

It's easy: post the address you will be using in the competition, and your starting bankroll - and, done. You can then start placing bets at your convenience, and checking your progress through the Leaderboard (https://directbet.eu/Competition.cshtml).

But please make sure to read all the rules for this round (which you can find in the first few posts of this thread), and post any doubts you may have in the Discussion Thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522).
1054  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: VI FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet (Registration Thread) on: May 05, 2016, 04:05:47 AM
Add my new address  (3)
LTC : LiTU3aEU71zVQSBTEh1NodVBdNTK5uLBsf
Bankroll: 10 LTC

Sure thing - your third entry will be added as soon as possible, Free1bitco.in.

Good luck!

bankroll : 100mbtc
address : 16x2JFWJxeNLHToVaBgrhdM6md6Rq1V1dD

Hello, adjie14. I hope you won't mind, but you'll be added to the Leaderboard as adjie14, instead of adjie (your competition and forum usernames must match).

Good luck!

Great win Psi! Not sure how much you won, but 7.8x is no shabby multiplier Smiley

Can we have a link to the bet if you get a chance? I'd be interested to see a single bet with those odds...

I think the bet FrueGreads was referring to is this one: https://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1KMZhqcQ7TCZvLwGMh46m7sPMq6ShJ29DR ("Event: Real Madrid v Man City; Bet Type: Correct Score; Your Selection: 1 - 0") - not bad. Wink

Welcome, Novep. Thanks for helping us promote the Tipster Competition. Please note that only posts made in the Gambling forum (excluding sub-forums) are paid.

Novep has abandoned the campaign (removed the campaign signature before the 7 days were up).
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VI FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- (Discussion Thread) on: May 04, 2016, 09:15:55 AM
Must it be a single bet or can it also be an parlay?

For today's challenge, it can be either one; a single bet, or a parlay.

I confirm that all the Toto ~ Parlay selections except for one were at odds of 1.15 or higher.

Thanks, DirectBet.
