oh looks like there is a lot of changes made for the next competition ,
i missed the last championship edition ,
btw can you just to write the exact number of 1 btc equivalent in alt coins? to avoid confusion ,
as the price of altcoin constantly move, will do register after you answer to this thanks.

Sure. We will be using the same conversion rates as for the minimum bankroll:

[...]
2. Minimum bankroll 100mBTC (or 300K DOGE +, 20 LTC +, 7 DASH +, 7 Ether +)
[...]

So, 1 BTC would be equivalent to: 3000k DOGE, 200 LTC, 70 DASH, or 70 ETHER.

''X3 Prizes for Users playing with a bankroll of 1 BTC or more
(so 3 BTC for first place, 1.5 BTC for second place, and so on)''

I want change the bankroll BTC 100 mbtc to 1000 mbtc, thnx

Sure thing, mbluxs; triple top place prizes for that entry. Smiley

I am interested to join. This will be my first time so sorry if I have some few clarifications.

1. As what I observed the bankroll is the not entrance fee?

2. Say I have 100 mbtc as my bankroll. 1% lowest bet and 5% highest bet as per rules. So if I am going to bet like 55 mbtc in one single game it will be counted as 5% of 100 mbtc or it does not count on my tournament ratings?

3. Sometimes there are unexpected events irl where someone fails to put a bet in a day. The participant already get knocked out in the tournament? What happens to his remaining bankroll?

Thanks and good luck everyone.

Hi, Nivir. Let's see:

1. No; there is no entrance fee. The bankroll is simply how much you intend to start the competition with. But there is no need to deposit that amount anywhere, or even a need for you to have as much as you declare in your enrollment post (provided you can place all the necessary bets during the competition, that's enough).

2. The former: it will count as if the bet had been placed with 5% of your current bankroll (100 mBTC, in this case), instead of the 55% you placed it with.

3. For the Main Competition at least, there is no minimum number of bets participants need to place each day (the only restriction here is everyone needs to have 100 valid (and settled) bets by the end of the competition - when they are made is of no concern). For the Side Competition, which we will be running alongside the Main Competition, the rules are a bit different: there are indeed days when participants need to place bets - the penalty for failing to do so is they receive no points for that day (they aren't immediately disqualified though).

In relation to the remaining bankroll, nothing happens to it; even if you leave the competition mid-way, your bankroll should always be safely in your hands (along with any profit you have made, and any prizes you have won).
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: X FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: November 17, 2016, 04:51:46 PM
I participate in X3 prize using 70 Eth assuming 7 Eth equal to 100 mbtc so 70 Eth is 1000 mbtc
I also use a personal message for the Contribution Prize

Sure, that will work just fine. Smiley

In relation to the personal message, there is no need to set it right now (although we do appreciate the extra publicity if you do), but please use the full text instead: "Tipsters Championship www.DirectBet.eu/Competition".

Welcome to the X Free Tipster Competition, guys. Smiley

Please make sure you have all familiarized yourselves with the new rules (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522.msg16892469#msg16892469); and, as usual, let us know if you have any doubts.

Good luck!

By the way, don't forget to let us know if you would like to receive the new Participation Prize (now renamed Contribution Prize).

Yes today the registration opened, wait FrueGreads unlock thread  Smiley
I hope he does not forget this schedule

Don't worry; he should be around shortly. Wink
794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IX FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: November 17, 2016, 06:39:37 AM
Is this no longer exists which requires 100 bets?
What we just need active to post a bet id in the main thread?

i guess yes , as fruegreads did not mentoned it back in the new rules.

but better to wait their confirmation as i can not see the 5% max bet rules too mentioned, anyways really happy to see these new rules , seems like everything established after 9 competition series. bigger bankroll , bigger prize i wish i can join the x3 prize , still considered this .

Hmm, no; those rules still exist - FrueGreads made no mention of them in his last post because he was just informing everyone of the changes since the last competition. So, participants will still need to have 100 valid bets by the end of the competition to qualify, and there will still be a minimum and maximum bet stake (if you go over to the Registration or Main Threads, you can see those rules still there: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1248467.msg12963505#msg12963505).
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IX FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: November 13, 2016, 06:38:10 AM
How maximum people to join tipster?

At the moment, there is no upper limit to the number of participants that can join us - we'll keep you all informed if this changes.

Accounts using 'newbies upon invitation' usually because they have problems with the old account
such as suspended, lost password or account hacked if you're one of those categories please PM manager contest

Also if you have considered as a loyal player at directbet.
For example if you have betting at directbet for long time , you can give them your address and they might invite you to join.
As they know not only from this community directbet bettor come .

3. Registration only available to Jr. Member and above, or newbies upon invitation.

Im newbie, i can join to tipster , 'newbies upon invitation' ,   invitation from ? Yo know ?

You're currently three activity points away from being a Junior Member, so chances are that restriction won't apply to you, when the time to register comes (from November 17 onward).

But, to add to RealPhotoshoper's and Mediator's posts, FrueGreads recently answered a similar question:

Any hope for newbies like me??

I mean can I join???

Nd what are the requirements

Yes, it's possible for newbies to join us. You need to register like everyone else, on our registration thread, after the 17th November at 00h UTC.
After that directbet will decide if you are allowed to join the competition or not, and we will let you know.

Anyway in your case you should probably advance to Jr. Member before registration opens, so I don't think you will have any problems.
796  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 10, 2016, 08:59:28 PM
Yes campaigns that offers a variable rates or have two payments system or conditions was generally accepted and an astericks was written instead of the price. For this campaign maybe it isn't mentioned here because of the content that it is currently advertising or maybe fatanut/mitchett didn't pay attention for it

Hmm, as far as I can tell, the signature campaign is just promoting another gambling plus news site (or vice-versa) - nothing that I would think warrants an exclusion from this thread.

Anyway, why complain when you can do something about it? Tongue

I've copied Fatanut's latest update (thanks Fatanut), and added the missing campaign: http://pastebin.com/fvtxfJSa.

Yes/No explanation
If a campaign has Yes/No as escrow status, it means that the person holding the funds also manages the campaign. This is a conflict of interest, but shouldn't be a big problem if the person doing escrow is trusted.

Logs since Mitchell last updated the OP:
Code:
November 10, 2016 - Updated Crazybtrade, Moved King Dice, Added Bitcoin.com
November 09, 2016 - Moved Byteball, Moved Sportsbet.io, Moved vDice.io
November 08, 2016 - Removed Brakoo

By the way, Mitchell, you have two "Yes/No explanation"s in the OP, and the section describing the format for adding / correcting information should probably be reworked, now that the Detailed Information section no longer exists.
797  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: November 09, 2016, 03:00:57 PM
BITCOIN.COM GAMES/NEWS signature campaign has just launched https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1671041.0
Managed by OgNasty, only five slots are available and Sr. Members or above are allowed to join, as for the rates participants can earn up to 0.025 BTC every week but no info is given about the minimum/maximum posts per week.

Don't see it in the list, any reason?
Maybe because it does not have a fix rate?

[...]

Actually, that was a good question - why isn't that campaign in the list? It's not as if campaigns with variable rates / conditions haven't been added before (the PlayTodos campaign, campaigns with bonuses given at the discretion of the managers, and so on).

Wouldn't it be enough to add it along with a couple of asterisks to denote the special conditions, as is done with other campaigns?

when tipster start again?

when tipster start again?

Kindly check the registration thread, it is updated already imho. Or check the 2nd post of this thread and you'll see when the competition will start.

Or FrueGreads' post in this very page. Smiley

EDIT: Ok, in the last page...

Hello everyone, as usual I would like to announce the official dates for the next X Tipster Championship.

We will open registration on the 17th November at 00h UTC
Competition will go live on the 1st December at 00h UTC

[...]

Wow good news  800 mBTC total prize for the side contest  Shocked

(Note: All Side competition prizes require a 1,000 loyalty points rollover for each 30mBTC)
if I win 500 mBTC so I need 16600 points for withdrawal?

Hmm, yes, it will probably be something along those lines.

In relation to the total prize amount for the Side Competition, it will be closer to 1380 mBTC (500 mBTC for first prize + 300 mBTC for second prize + 100 mBTC for third prize + 30 mBTC * 16 (30 mBTC for everyone reaching the 1/8 Finals)).

Yes, we'll probably use these next couple of weeks to read and consider the participant's comments / suggestions / ideas on how to improve the competition, before opening the registration period for a couple more weeks. So, the new Tipster Competition will probably start around December 1.

By the way, please keep an eye on the Discussion Thread instead (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1256522), as all the information will be posted there (and this thread will eventually be locked, now that the previous competition is over).
