401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run begun ? on: February 12, 2024, 09:50:12 AM
I really want to believe that the real bull run has begun considering the current price of bitcoin is certainly high. But seeing the rest of the coins are still not in their best position, and are still susceptible to price decline any time, then I have to say that what we have right now is like an effect to the market before bitcoin halving finally happens. Probably, I can only say that the real bull run is here once the market conditions become favorable and right now, it’s not happening yet.

However, instead of thinking about the upcoming bull run, why don’t we utilize this time doing DCA to reach maximum amount of bitcoin while bitcoin price has not achieved its new ATH yet. That way, when real bull run finally comes, we can ride with the hype and just like others, we will be more capable to achieve our desired profit goals.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the basics in Bitcoin before investing on: February 12, 2024, 08:01:15 AM
Newbies should know that bitcoin is not a get rich quick investment. Although it’s capable to change someone’s lives and make it more comfortable to live, but it does not happen all of a sudden. They worked hard for it and even spend big amount of their time and their hard-earned money just to accumulate a significant amount of bitcoin that will offer them benefits in the future. There’s no shortcuts in bitcoin, if you take the easy way, you will profit but eventually lose all of them in the end. Unlike gambling, as long as luck is with you, you will end up gambling having your pocket full of money.

However, bitcoin investment is far from gambling. Regardless of your capital, if you continue it with DCA every time you receive spare money, your success will be certain, and having luck is just a bonus.
403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 11, 2024, 11:37:47 PM
Some would always prefer the less risky long term hodling while others take the challenge to overcome the high risks with day trading. Whatever it is, everything depends on their own preferences and risk tolerance, as much as their knowledge and skills. In the end, both will derived at a huge profits as long as good management and patience are present.

However, based on my experience, if you are not confident enough to trade, then never jump into trading just because of its promising profits. Take your time while learning the basics in trading and develop your skills and strategies first before you decide to go on trading, most especially in day trading where risk is higher and the chances to lose at an instant is bigger. Otherwise, just settle into the less risky hodling so you can save yourself from consistent losses.
404  Economy / Economics / Re: keep pleasures without incomes aside and Chase after profits on: February 11, 2024, 10:49:24 PM
I understand your point since you are just utilizing every opportunity to make profits while the market is very impressive. However, let me remind you that such important events like marriage anniversaries or thanksgiving should be given importance as well and be celebrated as long as you have the means to celebrate. And knowing you’re capable of that, I believe your decision this time is not much reasonable. Make your wife happy at least as this type of ceremony only happens once a year.

Know that bitcoin has a lot of opportunities to offer so if you can’t maximize this time because you want to prioritize celebrating with your wife, that’s very fine as you have all the chances to grab the opportunity next time.
405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alter Ego In Gambling on: February 11, 2024, 01:16:14 PM
Do gamble or not gamble doesn't really change my ego or other activities what happens in the gambling world will be staying in the gambling world, If I feel messed up and full of emotion because of loss I just tell my friend and he just hears it out all of it and after that, all continue normally with a big laugh at the end and realize how stupid I am and the cycle is continue.

and I suggest all of you start doing the same as what happened in the gambling world let it stay in the gambling world. sometimes when you play a game you might fueled with punch of greed or boom of anger but just put it all of this on gamble and stay calm when the games end.

There should be a thrill in gambling, and if we feel upset or happy depending on the result, that means we are enjoying gambling. Some may not feel something, I find them not enjoying what they are doing. Gambling should be fun, and you can't have fun if you are not feeling the thrill which you'll experience the ups and down in gambling, but at the end of the day, we have to understand that there's a limit for everything.

We lose, we stick with our limit, we win, we know how and when to stop. Doing that or having that kind of control, we should be able to enjoy gambling for a long period regardless if we are winning or losing.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: February 11, 2024, 12:13:57 PM
Some had only been expose in the forum. Because most of the campaigns here are gambling sites, we also would need to learn how to gamble since we are promoting it. But personally, I was already gambling when I was a kid, before this online gambling got popular or bitcoin was created I am already gambling and it was a card game.

I would say I came from a family of gambler, my grandfather and father are both gamblers, so I was influence at a very young age and I'm happy with that as I learn early due to my mistakes, now, I'm proud to say that I'm already a responsible gambler.
407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 11, 2024, 11:28:38 AM
I think Klay has already lost interest playing with the Warriors. He is on and off, and they can't allow a player hat is inconsistent. With respect to Klay, he had big contribution during the Warriors championship runs but he pass his prime, either he stay with small salary or go and look somewhere else, that should be the scenario once he is in the free agency.

I saw some video clips of him watching his teammates getting points but he seemed unhappy with what he saw. I think right now he had a problem with himself,  his expectation to himself is still high but numbers don't lie, his production has really dropped significantly and it's been 2 seasons, it's still not improving. Maybe the Warriors will get better without Klay as he missed a lot, in short, he is not the same anymore, while Curry his splash brother still doing his thing, Thompson is just declining hard.

This one too.. he is not happy.

Quote
Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson acknowledged that it was "hard" for him to get benched down the stretch of the team's 109-98 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night.

"To go from one of the best players…It's hard for anybody," Thompson told reporters after the game. "I'll be honest with you."

408  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 11, 2024, 10:45:50 AM
Is JMF playing? I just tune in and I didn't see him on the floor, so far, SMB had a good start, and if they will continue this, we might see the same scenario that happened in game 1 and 2. They need to win to be ahead on the series, because if they lose, I feel their confidence will drop as 3 losing streak would destroy a team's confidence. Maybe even if JMF is limited or will not play, I think SMB still are capable of winning since they have a good back up players like Jericho Cruz and Don Trollana who are both great defenders and rebounder as well.

Hmmm.. timeout now, I saw JMF on the bench, probably had played but with limited minutes only.
409  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You lose more when you over trade on: February 10, 2024, 11:53:29 PM
Of course, we should trade only when the market is in our favor. Because if the market goes against us, we will lose all our money. We should always trade after researching the market well. Trading should be done only when it is favorable. Wait for the market to come in our favor, don't be in any kind of hurry, because one little mistake can lose you all. So always trade at the right time, research the market well, think carefully.

Nothing to rush as the market always have it's own time, if you look for the betterment of your trade patience is the key, taking more trade without understanding the possible movement will cause you to lose your investment, there are traders who loves to short the market those are traders who wisely use the momentum, like what you said it's more on how you see the favorable position for your trade and chances to earn will be at your side.

Without understanding the makret run, you'll keep losing or chances to lose your money when taking more trades is possible, while taking one step at a time may give you higher chance to keep your profits.
A good trader will make sure to analyze and understand the market well before he decides to risk his funds and trade. Otherwise, his trading will fall like gambling. One who trades without analyzing if there is probability to be in profits is not actually trading but more like gambling, so that means risking his funds just to see it losing in the end.

So I totally agree there’s nothing to rush when trading funds are at stake. Trade only when the market is favorable to you, and trade only when you are certain that the market price movement will not go on opposite direction, because if ever that happens, you just missed another opportunity to make profits in trading.
410  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 10, 2024, 10:37:54 PM
Traders must be well-rounded when it comes to learning acquisition and skills, creating right and positive attitudes towards trading, and having that confidence to trade even when others are hesitant and fearful. To make it simple, traders should always have an edge over other individuals as trading itself is not that easy to succeed, to earn and to gain fulfilling profits.

However, I’m not saying that traders should be on top of the others but traders need to gain exceptional learning and skills if they want successful and profitable trades. While it can be hard for majority, but it becomes easier for those who have deep passion to trade and for those who are really determined to build their career in trading.
411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: February 10, 2024, 03:09:02 PM
Not having JMF doesn't mean they will lose. If we have seen the last game, JMF set but SMB had a rally to make it a close game. When JMF came back, that's when the Magnolia start their own run.

Of course, it does not guarantee that the Magnolia will win but JMF is one of the best player in the PBA, probably not the best now since the system of SMB has change but he can do a lot of things when in the court. It's either he played 100% healthy or just remove him on the line up because he'll only become a problem as he'll be left when Magnolia are running. Let's wait and see what he could bring tomorrow, if they could put some pain reliever to make Fajardo feel the same before the injury, that would be good as they need him so much tomorrow.

You can't be sure with PBA, so there's no guarantee that what we are expecting will happen. If on the first two games we thought that Magnolia is a mismatch, then we might be wrong again with our expectation now since Magnolia turn out to be a real rival since they even the series.

Just be smart in choosing what team to beat as it seems like they are playing us. Game 3 could be SMB that's why they start the line high, and I don't mind if the line will continue to move up as I have a feeling that SMB will again win and will cover the spread. Maybe they will give Boatwright a chance to have a good game and it can easily happen by putting Tyler Bey in foul trouble.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 10, 2024, 02:14:09 PM
I often run out of funds due to gambling that is too blind in terms of placing $$ on every bet I make and ends up losing. I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.

I started to realize and change my habits. Now I use $$ from the profits from the previous bet to place the next bet and save my initial capital.

What do you think, is this good and can help me overcome losses that will occur so that $$ remains safe and can be used in future betting? Are there other unique ways that you can use to grow your money in gambling? feel free to comment. Thanks

Maybe start with learning how to discipline yourself first. yes, there's a way to win or grow your money in gambling but it does requrie a lot of discipline. Even if you will find the strategy to win but the lack of discipline will kill your bankroll. Winning in gambling specially in sports betting is a long term process, which means you are going to experience winning and losing many times, but the goal here is to have a winning percentage of over 50%, getting 60% is already a huge success.

Back to being discipline, with that high win rate, you'll be able to become a long term profitable with the right bankroll management. Everything should be plan, if you plan to start betting $20 per bet, stick with it, never loss control and think of chasing your losses.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling? on: February 10, 2024, 09:33:30 AM
If suddenly you went on a binge-gambling out of a lack of self-control or something else. For example, you deposit money in rapid succession after a series of losses and the casino management freezes your account. And when you call their customer support, they tell you that your account has been frozen for 3 weeks and the reason why they carried out that measure was because they suspected that you were gambling irresponsibly and decided to take that measure so that you can call yourself back to order, will you feel furious, cuss out, sign out of your account and register on another casino and continue betting. Does even freezing a customer's account curb irresponsible gambling or betting addiction?

The type of concern from the casino. I honestly don't think that there's such casino that exist. Casinos normally just implement their TOS and there has been no TOS that a gambler's account will be frozen once they are found irresponsibly gambling. In fact, I believe that casinos love that, they don't use feelings so they are not guilty. There's a saying that casinos love losers but hate winners, I think that's just the basic principle they follow, nothing else.

Freezing of account would only happen if we violate the TOS, or if the initiative is coming from us like we want to self exclude ourselves for a certain amount of time, and that is using the casino feature embedded in our account.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 10, 2024, 09:04:58 AM
The odds so far are:

ML: 1.80 - for Beterbiev, 1.94 for Bivol. And as per poll, our boxing fans here knows their stuff about these fighters and so they lean towards Beterbiev as well.

So yes, it's a even fight for this two Russians, and just like what everyone says, gonna be close and difficult to chose at least for now.

But the fight is still far, and there could be a lot of factors that might swayed us as to who is going to be our bet on this fight.

I'm not seeing a wild swing on the odds though, Beterbiev will be the favorite based on his knockout percentage and Bivol knows that. It might be close though and as we see, for boxing fans, gonna be hard to pick the winner as both as capable to pull, it's just either KO by Beterbiev or the strength of Bivol to carry him all the way to championship rounds and then into the full 12 rounds. And with that, the this might be the closest fight that we can see for this year. We see Ryan being a huge underdog against Haney, and all other fights that we think is close, the odds maker think otherwise. But not in this case, even them knows that it could be as close as a 50/50 match.

Based on the betting odds, yes it's a 50/50 match. I believe we will not have a hard time putting our bet as the odds are very competitive, we can get 1.90 on either boxer, so we just have to determine now on who we will think will win. As for majority of us here, we are thinking that Beterbiev will win because he is the heavy punches, all wins are in KO, who would not bet on that.

I hope the bookies are not mistaken with the betting odds as this fight is obviously for Beterbiev, although both are undefeated, they are champions but it's nice to bet on a fighter that we think could anytime finish his opponent. The only bet I find more appealing is Beterbiev winning via KO, but maybe it could be the same with his current betting odds now.
415  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to expect this bull run? on: February 09, 2024, 11:59:25 PM
I don’t actually expect a lot. What is bound to happen will eventually happen. So if there will be new all time high that might be too far from our previous ATH, then that could be an advantage for us. But if it’s not, then we should just accept it and go with the flow. Bitcoin is still an uncertain investment due to its high volatility, and we can’t always expect that history may repeat itself again and make us all profitable. So don’t set too much expectations, otherwise you will only become upset and regret of your decision.

However, as long as you keep on DCAing and take advantage when there is a price decline, it’s clear that you will gain massive profits when bull run comes. If not, then just prepare for the next bull run. The most important thing here is you don’t sell at a loss, regardless of how small or big your profits is.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: Opportunities During Economic Downturns? on: February 09, 2024, 11:29:34 PM
Having economic downturns is actually a natural phenomenon as not all the time the economic condition is high and progressive. But behind this, there are still advantages of starting a profitable business idea. I think healthcare services might possibly work since most of the individuals most particularly the senior citizens will have a hard time living their lives with the current economic downturn.

And while dollar cost averaging is advisable when there is a recession or economic downturn, the it’s best to purchase some valuable assets or investments that will grow their value when the market progress again. Buy when it’s low and sell when it’s high, as simple as that. But in order to make it more profitable, have a good amount of capital to acquire huge amount of assets. That way, when the market has recovered, there will be  huge promising profits afterwards.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin an opportunity like land on: February 09, 2024, 08:15:26 PM
Buying a piece of land is always a good investment most especially if the location is perfect for businesses, you can always sell it at a higher price because of its high demand. However, owning a land property versus owning bitcoin may be both good assets for long term but when it comes to profitability, it’s always bitcoin that carries more advantage than any other asset or property. It’s price may be highly volatile and unpredictable, but because of that it’s price increase is always the highest and can even turn its holder an instant millionaire most especially if he is holding a huge amount of bitcoin.

Nevertheless, if you have made significant profits from bitcoin, it’s certainly a good idea to diversify and buy some land properties that will surely increase its value in time. The price of land is not volatile, so it will certainly follow  a consistent upward trend of price which I think is a very good diversification of bitcoin.
418  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 09, 2024, 03:28:39 PM
Back to gambling tayo after 1 day of rest.

Lakers and Nuggets both on a back to back game, pero ayos lang, tingin ko magaling pa rin sila compared sa kalaban nila.

Parang puro favorites lahat pinili mo kabayan.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin become extinct? on: February 08, 2024, 11:50:25 PM
What are the chances of bitcoin going extinct?
Seeing how people these days have become very eager to buy and hold bitcoin, that’s far from getting extinct. We can only tell that bitcoin is going to be extinct if people have lost their willingness and interest to invest in bitcoin because they all end up losing their hard-earned money. But we all know it’s not the case with bitcoin. In fact, a lot have experienced life’s big changes with bitcoin because they use and take advantage of bitcoin opportunities despite of the higher risk that it brings along.

However, I’m not also closing doors if ever bitcoin will become extinct in the future. Change is inevitable, and if that changes will create better possibilities and chances for the people even if it means replacing bitcoin, then I still think that will be reasonable and valid to happen as well.
420  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: February 08, 2024, 11:24:28 PM
Looks like 1 long year has passed, and we said goodbye to 2023 and entered the new year 2024. We are only waiting for 2024 for Bitcoin because this year is going to be one of the best year for Bitcoin. Where the block reward of Bitcoin will decrease from BTC6.25 to BTC3.125 and at that time we will see more demand for Bitcoin, and expect a gradual change in the Bitcoin market.
As Bitcoin halving is only 112 days away, we are looking forward to that time. All bitcoin investors only wait for bitcoin bull season. And the bull season usually starts after the halving as we know it, so I think there is a golden opportunity right now to just hodl Bitcoin.
All bitcoiners get ready to hodl your BTC success is waiting for you ahead.
We are certain about bitcoin halven to be around march April 2024 but we are not certain that the price of bitcoin will skyrocket immediately after the bitcoin halving, this is because history have recorded that happening before a d that is why, most bitcoin experienced investors are speculating that bitcoin all time high may not occur in 2024 or even if it does, it will be late 2024 third quarter.

So instead of us to start speculating bitcoin all time high immediately after the bitcoin halven, weay be getting it all wrong and that will not go well with me at some point in time.
History may or may not repeat itself. We don’t hold guarantees that bitcoin price will make an impressive price increase right after bitcoin halving. Always know that bitcoin itself is unpredictable, its price might suddenly go bearish or bullish, or going sideways. So it’s always uncertain predicting when bitcoin price will reach its all time high.

But with bitcoin halving, there’s always the positive side of it that make us excited and overwhelmed. Most probably because that could be a an initial step before bullish market happens, even though there will be price corrections and price decline that will most likely to happen before the real bull run takes over the market.
