401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do the miners need the Bitcoin users? on: July 23, 2017, 03:21:17 PM
~ Users speculate with the information about bitcoin, in the result they can make the price for bitcoin go down or raise up, like it was on the last week with blowing up the fake panic about bitcoin's price after SegWit.
402  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign for newbies? on: July 23, 2017, 03:08:31 PM
There is tans of newbies on the forum and the chance that exactly YOU will be chosen even if such signature campaign exist. I suggest you to become good commentator (without spamming and hi and bye) at first and on the next level of Jr. member, which is going to happen very soon, you will be already eligible to roll in a campaign. Good luck!
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Target Coin - World's FIRST And ONLY Bonus Paying Crypto Fund on: July 22, 2017, 08:45:20 AM
Very Good Investment platform, what you will do when bitcoin or Ethereum falls? Panic sell?? One must always hedge so that one can be assured that at the time of loss there is someone who can take care of the portfolio, Targetcoin is the same thing it will hedge your portfolio, I feel it same like Minexbank of Minexcoin.
Good Concept... +1
Even if Bitcoin and Etherum will fall one day, this day is not so close, so I think the panic selling, you are talking about, has no chance to happen, I am sure that the project heads already have a plan for such case.
404  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin heading to $4,000 on: July 22, 2017, 08:40:59 AM
The price will continue to rise, but the rigidity of the issue of hard fork to keep prices stuck, even a few days ago the price almost reached $ 2000. After August 1st, I'm sure bitcoin prices will skyrocket and could soon reach $ 4000.
Man, the price dropped even lower than 2000$ few days ago. I really didn't expect that bitcoin will come back so fast! I am agree about the sooner growth, that was predicted long time ago and those people who sold their coins being under the pressure of the mass panic, which was promoted by speculators, must be regret very much now  Grin
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The "I cannot afford 1 BTC"-Problem on: July 22, 2017, 08:00:33 AM
That's a psychology of round numbers, everybody love it. You are right that buying of mBTCs is going to be the right investment, cause of the price will raise even higher than 3000$. But you see, if a person will buy just 0.001 BTC the profit is not going to be so noticeable, as it would be if it was at least 1 BTC, right? I think for the kind of people who think the same there is only one option to earn and collect bitcoin.
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 22, 2017, 07:40:36 AM
The most interesting thing that I know is that nobody know Satoshi in face, people are just supposing who he might be. I doubt that Satoshi is next Jobes, if he would be so he already would be media face and play his role on all this presentations about changings like SegWit. But he is not.
I believe that Satoshi, if he is really exist, just a very modest man who doesn't like the attention.
407  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-20] How Businesses In Russia Accept Bitcoin and Pay Taxes on: July 21, 2017, 07:24:57 PM
Hmm interesting. So the point is they calculate in the moment of sale how many money in the national currency the buyer payed and from this sum they pay the tax from the profit to the goverment and the government kinda doesn't care what the price of bitcoin was in the moment of buying and in the moment of paying the tax. Well it is smart from the one side and complicated from the other. Because of as I know Russian government didn't accept any concrete law about crypto-currency regulation, so, such firms may have problems the next year when the tax from the profit for this year should be paid.
408  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-21] South African Central Bank To Start Bitcoin Regulation on: July 21, 2017, 07:14:28 PM
The government and banks would be happy to control bitcoin, but luckily they couldn't  Grin But the regulation is the right theme to all of them. I am agree that this is going to be the experience to all central banks over the world and if it will pass successfully other banks will follow.
409  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcointalk Member on: July 21, 2017, 06:07:39 PM
I think that guy who woted for 75 just joked  Grin But it can be through. I have heard that there is old people in the world who interested in bitcoin.
As I supposed the age of people on the forum is young. I love to see that 18-25 years are winning, because of I count bitcoin as the greates financial support and the base for a startup exactly for such modern and young people who just finished study.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is segwit really necessary? on: July 21, 2017, 06:02:04 PM
Wow,thanks Meuh6879.This is a pretty informative infographic.
I think that  a lot people hate Segiwt because:
1.They think that Segwit will centralize bitcoin.
2.They think that Segwit will create double spending issues.
I`m not sure that those two statements are correct.
Anyway, most of the bitcoin users hate Segwit because they don`t know anything about it.
It is really WOW and explained so short and easy. I just have a question which wasn't uncovered in this presentation: Will transaction fees going to be lower or SegWit will not change a thing in this point?

412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS THERE A CHANCE THAT BTC WILL BE CONTROLLED BY THE GOVERNMENT? on: July 20, 2017, 02:10:38 AM
Hi

how about if all currencies will be known worldwide or if it will be acknowledged in all countries even coming to become the currencies of the world, what will happen to the value of each currencies, or better yet what will be the impact. Are banks will be their first enemy?
Gracias!

You forgot about something, Bitcoin gives freedom to the people because of 2 things.

1. Bitcoin is decentralized, which means the price of Bitcoin is not affected by anything the government does.
2. No one has access to the Bitcoin master keys, which means no one can control everyone's bitcoin. There is also a high chance that there is no Bitcoin master key that exists.

Bitcoin will never be controlled by the government since they just don't have the tech.

That's right. The government can't take bitcoins control in it's hand, because of it's decentralized and nobody owns it actually, the identity of Satoshi is still not uncovered. The government may just regulate the use of bitcoin and crypto-currencies by legalizing or banning the use and that's the only thing they may do.
413  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-18]Bitcoin, Ethereum Bounce Back Hard To Reach $2,400 and $240 on: July 20, 2017, 01:54:18 AM
It was a good news, but right now we are below $2,300 unfortunately.

Do people really think bitcoin will end after Aug 1? I think it will rise and that's why people who selling now at low prices will regret doing it.
I don't know where suggestions about bitcoin's death after the 1st of August come from. I have heard that in the future we will see only the growth. I'm sure that speculates are celebrating now, cause of with negative information which provoked the panic they could buy cheap coins. I have heard that even Wall Street is promising a big price for bitcoin (55000$) just in five years. Wall Street is respected place and I'm used to believe to their prognozes.
414  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-19] Russia To Legalize and Regulate ICOs on: July 19, 2017, 09:10:40 PM
Seems they are ready to legalize everything that will bring money to the budget from which their salaries are payed. We clearly know that not all ICOs are successful and mane people loose money at such projects, sometimes it's a very big money. So what we have now: Russia will legalize ICOs and while there are no so many complains from people they will let it work and will have it's % from ICOs activity. But the time when the situation will go bad they will just admit their activity as illegal they will just forbid it and that's it and as usual will act in front of citizens like a good cop, like: "look what we did. We admitted ICOs as illegal. No mo worries. We are good guy and work for the people". But meanwhile children and grandparents of those heads will study in Harvard and chill on Majorca.
415  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is bitcoin wallet based company is going to close or it will safe.. on: July 19, 2017, 08:59:24 PM
10 BTC is a big money. I think they give you nice suggestion to move your founds on a paper wallet, because of it's the most safe place to store your coins. You see, nobody 100% sure what the 1st of August will bring to us, what the effect is going to be, so, I think you need to follow their suggestion about paper wallet. That way you can be sure that nothing will happen with your money.
416  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best trading site now? on: July 19, 2017, 08:51:49 PM
I suggest you to use cryptopia, bittrex, poloniex, yobit. now bittrex is loved more than other. poloniex sometimes take to much time to withdraw and deposit. but I don't like hitbtc at all.

You have said nothing about YoBit. I use this site for all my manipulations with crypto-currencies from the most beginning. I'm totally satisfied with it's work, so while it's so I don't even plan to look at other sites  Smiley
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of news? on: July 19, 2017, 05:40:27 PM
News are pretty important.
I think that it is general knowledge that there are events which are affecting or might affect the crypto market situation .
Thus its important to have fast, reliable and objective source of relevant events.

Right now my information sources mainly are: bitcoin.com, this forum and recently vice news

Vice recently had good article : https://news.vice.com/story/bitcoin-and-ether-recovering-from-weekend-crash

Bitcoin.com has pretty unique news feed. But downside is  sponsored articles and i would like more depth ,analysis in market situation and ideally relevant news from China in English.

Which cryto currency related news are the best in your mind ?

Both sites are a scam. Vice is mainstream crap, they have no real depth knowledge. Bitcoin.com is Roger Ver/Bitmain/Craig Wrigh propaganda, avoid like the plague.

Bitcoinmagazine.com is decent.
I don't even visit any of this sites. Usually I read all kind of news on "press" section on the forum and in twitter. That's enough to me. Altcoin news are usually placed in "altcoin discussion" section there you really can find a lot if you are really interested.
418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many ways do you use to mine bitcoin? on: July 19, 2017, 05:30:46 PM
I recommend you to search the ansver on mining section on the forum, only there you can find all the necessary information about mining. Good luck!
419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many coins do you have in your portfolio ? on: July 19, 2017, 07:13:24 AM
All of them.
You must be kidding, cause of it's just impossible.
Well, I have a little bit of LTC (still hoping for it's progress); 0.2 BTC, which I actually planned to cash out, but I took a position of waiting currently to Bitcoin grow back at least on 2800$ point and I haven't problem with finances currently , so, I kinda don't need this money right now; 5 LSK and my newbie DGB, which I bought the last week.
420  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 18, 2017, 09:11:32 PM
gold has been the MAIN trading asset for thousands of years!  bitcoin can never replace real world assets.. It can be its own form of "gold" but can never replace it.
That's true. Gold shown itself as the most safe way for investment and the way for skipping the inflation for years. Bitcoin will never be able to replace it. But bitcoin can to be compared with gold in a way how it mained, that's why bitcoin was called as digital gold Wink
