401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 13, 2020, 01:28:13 PM
Few IEO doesn't have any real-time usage, but the launch through the Binance launchpad gave it big growth. Binance IEO isn't over, even now often some were launched. The importance has been lost, because few termed to be worthless later with initial pumping providing higher profit. The trust over Binance is still alive which makes anything on Binance to be successful.
Yes, but if I will be ask, i rather spend my money in some defi projects, wherein you may buy certain coin at this price and then after a day or 2 , it will be in uniswap, they maybe in some other cex, I don't like ICO, but if IEO I think I like it too, but if they will launch their IEO at good exchanges not to the cheap ones, binance is not dead, it is continuously innovating and become better.

Good suggestions but the players are Happy so far!!

Oh do you have players now? Oh that's good, then I think you may use that fund in order for you to develop your website, because mate I am sure 99% of gamblers will also judge your website, if it is safe to create website, if their credentials are not at risk, etc . If you have players now , so used your first fund for the website development.

If you are part of the team or working for them, can you please make an attractive ANN so the gambling site you are promoting will look legit.

Just an advice as most sites I see that are successful have put an effort on their ANN thread.
I don't want to commend yet on the legal aspects of your site, I'll let others judge it though.
Yes this can be the next step after website development, but I highly suggest to fix website first.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference? on: November 13, 2020, 10:55:52 AM
Older projects some of that have great success today don't depend on funding like ICO and IEO therefore identities is not needed as long as the code published and the product is working well and ready for publice consume. But nowadays most of the projects depends on the funding and they have investor which expects the money to come back with profits otherwise it's an exit scam.
Indeed, showing fake profile is easy for them, they can easily generate identity that will be used in their website, not I learned this year, there will some projects that team are anonymous but still going stronger each day, and there will some that is opposite to the one that I have said, so I think there will be slightly difference but not at all, we people should learn how to choose the best coin to invest with.

405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 12, 2020, 03:17:47 PM
Land based casinos must also adopt the new normal and its good that they allow those casinos to operate digitally as well. Anyway, I don’t know why but I didn’t received any update from the City of Dreams, well I’m going to visit some casino this weekend and I’m going to try how they implement the health protocols and hopefully to get some ideas about this online betting.
I think they already did that, they already implementing it, it seems that these casinos can be the answer to some funds we need especially this pandemic and consecutive typhoons we encounter, we all know that they are paying for tax too, so let us think and look to the brighter side, if they allow land based casinos to go online, it is a big step for innovation and improvement of our payment system in here.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling = just for fun or an investment method? on: November 12, 2020, 02:22:42 PM
Honestly, gambling is just for fun for me, I am not into gambling or being full time on it, I only play when I have spare time and I don't want to spend a big amount of money in gambling, in another thing, investment for me is for long term period means, I will wait for it till it pumps, in gambling I only spend hrs to play, but for investment I can spend days or weeks monitoring it, in order for me not to avoid such things.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much have you earned in one year on: November 11, 2020, 10:47:57 PM
My yearly earnings depend on how much hardwork, time and effort did I put in a particular year. For me the worst year is 2020 in which I experienced to earn bitcoin with a very low price. And also I experienced to sell all of my coins even if I don't want to because I badly needed money for my daily expenses because of the pandemic I lost my job and everything.
408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: November 11, 2020, 08:58:38 PM
In my opinion, cryptocurrency is more valuable than Gold, we can see that cryptocurrency price movements are much more volatile
than Gold. So this volatile crypto price can be utilized to generate much greater profits than Gold. Even this year, cryptocurrency has
performed very well compared to other assets. If you want to make a large profit, it's right to choose cryptocurrency for investment.

If something really bad happens, and virtual world is closed, what will we do with all these cryptocurrencies? Yes, we can make much money dealing with crypto, but everything is so risky. Gold is not probably more valuable, but the risk connected with gold is minimal.
For me golds are still valuable than crypto currencies because the crypto currency's existence cannot be predicted if until when it lasts but gold? You can find it everywhere and can be use as a mode of payment. And also golds are much expensive than crypto currencies that is volatile. You'll never know when will its price rises or falls.
409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 11, 2020, 03:48:06 PM
What a kind of desperation. He can take no more the stress that had come into him and thinking of evil things. He's not actually too young to think that way but it was very unfortunate and commit killing himself. I'm not sure how his parents taking care of him or he is rejected after that scenario. If he valued his life more than that money, I think he never does it but something there is another reason brought him to take his life, and that probably;y because of rejections from his family or even friends.
Depression is really a thing, even you are a young or old or in the middle everyone can be depressed, however he should ask for somebody help, he shouldn't carry this thing all alone, he become addicted maybe and got depressed, a proper rehab and medication can help him but it is too late. It only shows that addiction in gambling and low emotional control can really affect people if it doesn't handle in the right way.

412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 09, 2020, 03:53:58 PM
Majority of people who are engage with gambling they are that kind of solo ones which they dont really much attached to other people on what are the things that they've been doing.

and when unfortunate events do happen then they do tend to solo it and that what makes more stressful which would really create that emotion in you on where you do think into some things

like committing suicide specially if you do know that you are playing and lost a loaned or borrowed money then that would amplify even more on what you felt on that time.
In result? high chances that you would really end up on this situation unless if you are really well on handling up your emotion then you wouldnt really care.
I think why most of the gamblers who are in great debt tend to own his problem without telling others is because they probably don't want others to think that they are losers. Or like, even if they tell others, they still won't be able to pay it off, especially like this boy who is still a teenager.

Not being able to handle this kind of situation can lead to bigger stress or even depression that is why we have been hearing numerous stories of people destroying or trying to end their life because of gambling.
This is the saddest part of being a gambler. When you are already an addict you will play as long as you have money to spend until nothing's left. And when you're done spending all of your money, you will feel feel sad and guilty for what you did. You will think that there are still chances for you to win so you will lend money to others or sell your things in order for you to back in track but when you are still experiencing loses, that triggers your depression.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 08, 2020, 10:33:34 PM
I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).

Has anyone tried that? Have you been successful? Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

I will not do or participate in any of that thing. It will only waste my money. But yes I tried before 3 or 4years ago I always join in different HYIP, after a day I always left that website because I know what will happen, but I learned my lesson, I don't want to waste my time, my time is also equivalent to my money so I don't want to lose the both of it.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2020, 11:45:06 PM

Exactly. Young people will be more inclined towards Bitcoin than the elderly. And that's normal considering that old people are reluctant to change their ways. As time goes by, the old generation will become history while new generations will take over the world. It's expected that physical cash will slowly reduce its prominence in the mainstream world as CBDCs change our world for the better. Before we know it, money will become completely digitized. Whenever old people will adopt Bitcoin today, it's yet to be seen. A very small fraction of the elderly might still adopt Bitcoin as a sort of investment. They could leave someone they trust to handle all of their Bitcoin holdings. To make them understand how the digital currency works, it's going to take a little effort since old people are not quite fond with technology.

Nonetheless, there's no doubt that crypto/Blockchain tech will be here to stay. We should do our best to help spread the word about Bitcoin's benefits to the world. As time goes by, people will adopt Bitcoin to use it for cross-border payments without the need for a middleman. Some will use Bitcoin on top of Fiat, while others will use both Bitcoin and Fiat for added convenience. While Bitcoin will never replace Fiat, it'll prove to be an excellent alternative to the existing monetary system in the long run. I wouldn't worry about many old people rejecting Bitcoin as long as it has loyal supporters behind it. Decentralization and censorship resistance is what matters above all else. Just my opinion Smiley
Its too difficult for anyone to teach about bitcoin most especially if who you are teaching is out of the calendar age or too old enough to understand what bitcoin is all about and how does it works. I think it would be possible but not for all the old people and also it depends on how eager they are to learn and how though their memory they have.
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: November 07, 2020, 10:31:20 PM
It's not about the name of the coin but, its all about its characteristics. We can't even say if it is a shit coin or not at first most especially if that coin is new to us. We can say that it is a shit coin or not days prior of the purchased date of the said coin. What do we need to do is to be careful in order for us to find out the potential coins.
416  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 07, 2020, 04:22:59 PM
Really sad, RIP to this young boy only 19 year old and now engage heavily in gambling he should go to school at his young age and not doing gambling and the worst is the money is from his friends thats why he decided to end his life out of pressure and fear he might face if he tell it to his friends but after-all its only a money he can earn it in due time and can pay his friends not committing suicide.
This is the saddest part of playing gambling. There are no restrictions when it comes on playing gambling. Anyone are allowed to play even the kids can play and also the old ones most especially in the countries like Philippines. Gambling here in PH is is legal that's why the authorities are having a hard to chase those gambling lord which also a drug lord sometimes.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 07, 2020, 02:35:01 PM
Bitcoin has crossed 15000 digits and I am sure soon Bitcoin will break the previous high price record this year. 2021 will be the crypto year and hope much good news will come gradually.

There will be a lot of good news will be coming next year. We have a bunch of good news right now about CBDC, bitcoin adoption, and many more.
I just assume if there will be a lot of institutional investors will be joining in the crypto. Paypal, maybe amazon will also come for crypto next year.
it looks like 16k will be achieved by bitcoin in the next week. Prepare your seat belt as we will be going to the moon very soon.
I think it is best if we don't expect that much because the more we expect, the more pain we can get if we don't meet our expectations and for me it really hurts. For me I think we should just wait for that moment to happen and don't focus on it too much. We shouldn't depend on the hype that we might feel but instead go with the flow and wait for that to happen.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: World 2020 - LoL World Championship on: November 07, 2020, 07:26:50 AM
I was a huge fan of LOL back in 2014 I used to play a lot and watch I was a huge fan of SKT but I stopped playing at 2017.
Now that they have a mobile version (LOL Wild Rift) I got backed since I could easily play it anytime I want in any place I want.
I haven't watch any tournament so far but I think I would still go bet on Korean teams for World Championship.
Not really a fan to this game because it is look like a copy of dota2 where in dota2 is way more known compare to this game. However, I was surprise that many players had played this game but again mobile legend was introduce and that people are turning to dota2 and LOL to mobile legend. Anyway, LOL now has too becoming one of the interesting games nowadays especially that we are in pandemic staying home is advise and that well have more time to chose and play a game we like. It should be variety of game to be played so it will be more fun.

This is a copy of the maniacs who made maps for warcraft 3. I remember how you played it then. Maps created by regular users and you played better than a typical campaign.
Warcraft didn't use the potential and  blizzard completely wasted this. Riot copied the idea and won.
I love playing LOL in computer then me and my opponents will have a betting game. The team who will win will take home the money we down for the bet. But now what we are playing is wild rift and mobile legends. Its kinda easy to play because it is handy. We can still play betting game if we want to. And also we are joining tournaments in order to tests our skills.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 07, 2020, 06:18:34 AM
I don't even tried to use bitcoin in any other platforms because here in my country, there are no businesses that uses bitcoin as a means of payment so what I am doing is I am selling all of my coins then convert it into fiat before I use my money for my leisure, daily needs and monthly bills. It is also an advantage for me if and only if the bitcoin would be legal here soon.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 07, 2020, 05:15:50 AM
None of the strategies mentioned in the opening post are guaranteed to work, because knowledge and experience in sports betting
determines our success. And the luck factor can affect the results too, so my advice is not to focus too much on strategy, but just
choose a team or player that we really know and are sure to win. Regarding paid groups, it should be avoided, because joining a paid
group will only waste our money, without getting good results.
Actually the chances of winning when it comes to sports betting depends on which side you bet for if they will win or not. There are instances that even if how good the team you choose or the individual you choose there will be the time that there are opponents who can defeat them so I think sports betting is all about luck and fortune.
