Bitcoin mining is still profitable in 2019, thanks to the recent rally in BTC price. Todays video will show you how to not only increase your Bitcoin miners profitability but also how to protect them from ASIC viruses that will steal your hashpower and also act as crypto ransomware! Oh and subscribe to VoskCoin - http://voskco.in/Subhttps://youtu.be/9m_MBp4PzDQAll relevant timestamps and links in the video description on YouTubeAdded BCH so that this post can go into the alt coins mining section because all of my posts are always deleted in the censored bitcointalk bitcoin section.

MTP algorithm requires 16gb of system RAM in order to run full rig, but is the type of memory relevant? For example DDR3 DDR4?
no mtp doesn't require 16Gb of ram. it requires 450Mb (although for some system it is better to have 8Gb). It doesn't matter the type of memory which is used hi DJM any input on my above question & to clarify you say for some systems 8gb is better, could you explain that as well?

had another issue. Miner was flooded with "stratrum thread error" and not qutting. Process is running in a script loop wich ofc didnt take hold because process was still alive.
ok will had another exception... Overnight I keep getting stratum errors now, originally the miner was fine and ran for a few days. Now it’s incredibly unreliable, any advice?

If you want all of the summer 2019 mining news in one cryptocurrency update video here it is! Monero RandomX and Ethereum ProgPoW news may surprise you... Subscribe to VoskCoin here! - http://voskco.in/SubRyzen CPUs for CPU mining - https://amzn.to/2JpFDJuhttps://youtu.be/WQ6aXXhiP4UCryptocurrency is forever changing and evolving, and that is the same for different sectors within crypto, for example, crypto mining. Ethereum has been contemplating moving to ProgPoW a new mining algorithm designed to even the playing field between ASIC miners and GPU miners for over a year now, the question remains will ETH ever adopt ProgPoW? Monero is working on its own solution to the mining dilemma and are contemplating not only eliminating ASIC miners from their network but also GPU miners. Some other cryptocurrency projects that had planned to have scheduled hard forks which deter ASIC miners and allow more common people using GPUs to mine their cryptocurrency AHEM GRIN / GRINCOIN .. have decided to no longer pursue this route and embrace the grincoin ASIC miners being produced. Some other smaller projects such as ZelCash are exploring their own unique mining algorithm routes with a different version of the Equihash mining algorithm, their variation they are dubbing ZelHash is not infested with ASIC miners. Previously I bought 120mm Scythe Kaze Jyuni Slip Stream (1900rpm) (25mm width) And most of them have broken after year or two. Several are still working. Now I use Delta AFB 1212ME (38 mm). Delta has better static pressure. I use the "rule" one GPU - one additional fan. I also thinking about the replacing of all 120mm PC fans to 300mm fan (It looks even cheaper and seems gives much better cooling) but it needs serious rebuilding of my GPU-rig case
what cases are you currently using or are they custom built? curious to see pictures regardless

What case fans do you use? They are 38mm width Scythe model but which exactly they are? How often do you clean them and how long they work in your farm? I used 25mm Scythe fans with double ball bearing but I have to change a half of them after 1.5 year. Now I use Delta fans of 38mm width and they looks better for me
theyre the scythe ultra kaze fans, these are maybe 1.5 years old and still working fine for me (120mm) which models of scythe and delta fans did/are you using?

Bixbit reached out to me about their firmware, and personally I've never really heard of "asic miner viruses" I mean bitmain is a virus in itself I surely understand that. I know about antbleed, and I know some trash companies like asic miner co can remotely control and reroute their miners back to their wallets. However apparently these viruses (which I don't see why they could not and would not exist) mainly target asic mining farms and aim to steal hash. This is their firmware for reference https://bixbit.io/en/firmware-s9-t9+ & this is a write-up from them on this topic of finding and cure asic mining viruses https://bixbit.io/en/blog/post/how-to-detect-and-cure-an-asic-virushere's a t9+ (firmware also works on s9) because threads w/o pictures are boring

Why don't Blake 2B asic's like my Halong B-52 work?
Somewhere in Yiimp we are not converting from Bitcoin compatible nbits (target) to Siacoin compatible nbits. Thus miners are being instructed to target much lower when they submit. We believe they worked in testnet because it was shooting fish in a barrel. Almost any hash met target at a difficulty in the single digits. Until we resolve the issue using Yiimp or another stratum we will be temporarily secured by GPU using stock blake2b without converting to Siacoin target format. In the meantime, WildRig Multi 0.17.5 now has beta support for blake2b-btcc https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5023676.msg51427516#msg51427516kind of awesome GPUs can smash a couple blocks before ASICs are released into that ecosystem

I am using my s9 to mine Monero and Dogecoin. Btw, mining Doge on a laptop does not make sense because such a machine is not powered 24/7 and even its GPU/CPU power is lower in comparison with a pc. Also, there is a much greater chance of the laptop chips stressing out as they are packed in a very tight space; this will raise the risk of overheating.
LMAO - The quality of bitcointalk members has just gone downhill drastically over time. haha you couldnt have said it better.. you look back several years and its so interesting, you look today and jeffrey over here is mining cryptonight on his sha-256 miner lol

Is Litecoin mining profitable in 2019? Lets review LTC mining profitability straight from the creator of Litecoin, Charlie Lee on the latest Litecoin scrypt miners the Bitmain Antminer L5 and Innosilicon A6+! Scrypt mining is one of the most profitable mining algorithms in the world, ever. This is mainly due to Litecoin however Dogecoin is also on the same mining algorithm. The large Chinese mining pools backed by massive Chinese mining farms merge mine Litecoin and Dogecoin (LTC and DOGE), with the latest miners out from Bitmain and Innosilicon the Antminer L5 and A6+ respectively scrypt mining now evolves once more. The Litecoin halving will impact mining profitability dramatically, as in it will simply cut it in half. However, if LTC price doubles that result will not be nearly as impactful.. time will tell! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8W18yvCVPEAll relevant links and timestamps to navigate this video in the video description on YouTube
