nope Sad
I try many times - no trasfer/transaction

Hmmmm, interesting... Could you please try again and then send me the log of the daemon and the wallet in PM by copying them from (Menu) -> Help -> Debug window -> Consoles? (If you are paranoid about your wallet's data like TX IDs, then replace long (at least 50 character) strings with "[hidden]".)

I have a working version of Monero Client implementing RPC support for the wallet as a test, but simplewallet.exe's JSON RPC does not support all the features (for example, payment IDs, which are extremely important) that the terminal do. I would like to ask the wallet developers to find a solution for this ASAP: The daemon supports running the RPC simultaneously with the console, but the wallet does not. Thank You! Smiley

payment id is implemented in rpc. i have it working in alpha kivy gui wallet...

New X11 multipool online in beta mode - you mine X11 algo and get paid directly in VTC! Check out reddit thread here:

how old are you? do you think a jerk like you will make me nervous? keep calm... take your medicine and stop providing your interpretations. i am not interested in your opinion.

Old enough to remember crappy will smith songs about getting jiggy with it. Even old enough to remember decent will smith songs about how parents just don't understand. I am calm, but sadly have no medicine to smoke to get calmer. And fuck you, I'll provide whatever interpretations I feel like; it doesn't look like you're moderating this thread, just dominating it with negative comments.
4124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin | Scrypt N | Beat ASIC | Stealth Address | Vertlet for iOS on: June 25, 2014, 06:50:09 PM
i do think that you pointed out everything correctly!

The only REAL problem that makes this situation worse is that the devs don't say anything...

They have addressed everything even the inflation issue. Stop it.

oh... really?

yes...really

please tell me where i can find it? i would appreciate it a lot.

They are discussing it among themselves about bringing it to a vote to the community.

I hate to agree with anyone named 'Jiggy' (who the fuck are you, will smith from the late 90s? nah nah nah nah nuh nah nah nah), but especially someone constantly trolling with negative comments, but it's not really "addressing" the issue by supposedly discussing it in secret.

With that being said, I personally don't think they should do a thing to the block reward. You bought at a higher price, too bad. Cheap coins and/or a large (according to inflation people) block reward allow for more people to get some coins, i.e. a broader distribution, which goes hand in hand with decentralization. It just feels scammy when "the devs" of any coin try to change the rules of the game to pump the price up short term. If you want a five minute rocket ride go jump on the next piece of shit PoS X11/X13 coin...

Also possible that guys with secret gpu miners are dumping a significant portion of the coins generated each day...

I value your concern, but we're selling over the counter right now and even buying back coins on the exchanges.

what do you mean by that?

OTC trade is person-to-person and will not affect the coin's valuation on the exchanges.

Well, if you're selling large quantities below market value, then presumably the buyer could turn around and dump as well. I wasn't trying to demonize you guys or anything, I'm not a big holder and I don't think it's unethical or anything what you're doing, just trying to explain the price drop to someone that was asking. And actually, upon further reflection and watching the market a bit more, it just looks like cryptonotes and coins in general are down across the board the last few days. Monero (which now has a closed source amd miner and open source nvidia miner) is down by a similar percentage to BBR in the last few days, after they peaked at about the same time.

Is there a big problem with this coin? people are dumpling it like shit.
Everything is being dumped.
what's the problem?

No problem. Markets go up and down. Traders are always trying to make profit on coins with any movement.

Also possible that guys with secret gpu miners are dumping a significant portion of the coins generated each day...
4127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad [1st Multi-PoW] Prypto Partnership + Electrum Prypto Plugin! on: June 25, 2014, 01:38:27 AM
I'm having no luck setting up a solo mine for Myriad and SHA256D.
I've followed the directions found in this thread but only get a DEAD status from cgminer on my Jupiter.
Any tips for getting this to run?
I have about 3.3TH I would like to play around with to get the feel of setting up a solo mine.
Thanks for any help.

It should be pretty straightforward to solo mine from the same comp where you're running the wallet, or even on the same network. It's basically the same as bitcoin solo mining (plenty of tutorials available), except you need to add the algorithm line in your conf file (see first page of ANN). If you can't get it working post your conf file and I'm sure somebody will help you out.

IS there a way to copy / paste addressess? its inconvenient to write them all in the wallet

lol no kidding. Assuming you're on windows, I've found that you need to open a command prompt, navigate to the directory where your simplewallet.exe is located, and open it there; then you can right click to mark/copy and paste. If you just double click on simplewallet.exe from file explorer, for some reason it doesn't do anything when you right click.

again someone is pushing 10 btc or more in this coin.

yea, it's kinda strange someone keeps tripling the price every week or so, huh...

because of my high energy prices and the temperatures in my office  Tongue it is not possible to mine vtc

Really?I leave at Southern Europe (35ºC its the normal daily temperature) and my gpu's are at 70ºC. I use a fan! A domestic one Wink
C'mon, electricity costs may be an issue, but unless you leave at Middle East high temperatures shouldn't be a problem Smiley

Agreed. I have my rigs in my garage in Texas. You just gotta get the air flowing in the right direction with box fan(s). Mine haven't gone over 83 or 84 C even when it's up to about 45 C in the garage...

@Jiggy0001

I dont want to argue with you. You say a lot that dont want to spread FUD.
Reading your last 10 post this is what I read (if this is not spreading FUD, I wonder what is)

Quote
1) ...VTC is going down to 0.0005 then being pumped back up to 1USD and then it will go get some rest on the graveyard. So buy now and sell later... but sell forever

2) ...as we speak VTC is simply melting  Shocked

3) ...i mean as a VTC holder i am not interested in FUD, but i want to keep this discussion alive, because it seems otherwise there won't be any interest in this coin.

4) ...What we see is just concerning..

5) ...MP has a 24vol of almost 20BTC... Bittrex removed MON btw. What will happen when VTC is next?

6) ...well i am holding and constantly buying... but right now i stopped, cause i am ready to see 0.0005 soon(perhaps mid of next week).

lets face the truth.

7) ...To me this whole story reminds me the death of Mazacoin. An "active" dev team with "great" ideas didnt catch up and so it died.

8 ) ...and you can be sure that miners are dropping their VTC directly to the exchanges.

9) ...Holy shit... the panic took already place with the dumps to the mid 90k`s
Reply

10) ...is the coin dead now?

Btw, this is only your last 10 posts

I guess he's getting paid, or maybe he thinks he can move the price down a bit to buy more himself just by posting on btctalk, or he just is really down on vtc and feels the need to constantly vent...who knows what goes on inside the mind of a troll...
4134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty for open source ByteCoin/Monero GUI on: June 22, 2014, 09:39:41 PM
users should be warned not to use the gui clients if they are not well aware of the use-case risks.
it is better to use simplewallet until guis are stable and suitably featured, or simply don't use a wallet at all if you can't handle that.
if you are using a gui because you can't handle simplewallet, then you should wait until the gui is stable and idiot-proof.

Users should also rtfm. If you blindly install/run executables or scripts on your computer without even looking at the readme file, well, then whatever ends up happening, you were kind of asking for it, imo. I'm pretty sure all three (or more?) GUI wallets clearly state that they are alpha or beta versions in their respective readme docs.

Hello. I'm pretty beginner and I don't know anything about coding, so maybe anyone could answer me this silly question:

Is it possible to mine Monero with Nvidia? Is it possible to mine it with GUIMINER?

the only gpu miner is for ati and close-source

ati + windoze

I'm sorry for offtop, but will you do another pizza-dilvering event in the future for monero?
I must to ask it because of my nickname

Oh, yeah, I need to get those out, thanks for reminding me. As to more pizza, not sure.

why not tacos?
4139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - Secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: June 22, 2014, 12:20:42 PM
What a hell started happening to me? In the morning all was fine, but for now went something wrong. I'm getting those errors and I don't know is it my fault or some problems with pool? I'm mining at this pool http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu/ Who could say what this errors does mean? Especially that "stratum_recv_line failed, retry after 10 seconds" and that writted in the red color? All screenshots here:

sounds like either the pool you were using went down or you lost your internet connection...if you have internets try a different pool
4140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTCtalkcoin [TALK] - Pure POS - Multipool Ready! - AirDrop Has Arrived on: June 21, 2014, 07:27:06 PM
This coin is SCAM. AirDrop have not arrived.

wtf are you talking about? airdrop went out to every name on the list that wasn't duplicate address. also, poloniex did giveaway with remaining coins. it still might be/have been a scam, but the airdrop went out to everyone on the list, around 25k coins each.
