421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 16, 2023, 06:40:26 AM
Following your argument, it's true that after Inoue unifies all the belt from the previous division and manages to un-strip the current
champ from this new division, he gains lots of hypes and confidence.

While with Casimero, after being un-strip due to regulation, he's still trying to find that momentum to earn the position of being a title challenger.

They've got different position as of now, and we don't know if Casimero will have that opportunity to meet Inoue inside the ring.

I'm following Casimero's YouTube vlog and it seems that he is just taunting Inoue to fight but he is not so keen if the fight will happen or not, I mean he also got his own fight and make money out of it, the Inoue fight will just be a bonus of his career if they meet one day in the square ring fighting.

Casimero is not getting younger but he has his own money-making schemes like endorsement deals and business outside of boxing so I think if he can't fight Inoue that would be okay for him.

If it were only about the money, he could earn a decent amount. However, as a boxer, it's about achieving something significant before retirement. Just imagine if he could beat Inoue; that would elevate his name to the ranks of the greatest boxers in the lower divisions and open up opportunities for even bigger fights. I believe that if Inoue agrees to fight Casimero, he might ask the promoter to include a rematch clause in case he loses, giving him a chance to reclaim his title.

I agree in that part, Inoue will place that rematch claw to make sure that he will have that chance to regain his belts in case
Casimero upset him.

And also, in terms of career, beating Inoue is something that will be remembered trough out your career. Imagine the hypes that it will create.

So if Casimero will have that opportunity, it's better to leave everything that may prevent him from making it happen
and try to push for the fight to meet Inoue inside the ring.
422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 16, 2023, 01:10:35 AM
Oops, something is interesting that has been reported just now. Dwight is in the meeting with the Golden State Warriors. Maybe he's been heard and this is it for his comeback to the NBA. This wall that has been tweeting funnily from Taiwan seems to be serious now about being acquired by the Dub nation.

Just in case this really happens hopefully they will win the championship to help Chris Paul get one. However I'm not sure if Dwight Howard would really contribute to him or the whole organization because let's be honest at this time Howard is far different from his era. Dwight Howard has had two finals appearances and one of them resulted in a championship. He went from losing to the Lakers to winning a championship when he joined the Lakers like Kevin Durant does when losing to Warriors.

He will be used as a back up center, It will still be Looney as their main man for that position. What Dwight Howard can offer as this point in his career, is like 10-15 minutes of play every night, as a second or even third option when Looney is resting.

And I guess he already accepted his role because he knows that he is no longer in his prime, but he can still play. That's why he wanted to go back to the NBA or at least continue with his NBA career when he accepted a job in Taiwan. And now that the NBA is opening again, Dwight is knocking and hopefully be given another chance to play. And if this is news is true then good for him.

With the way Dwight plays the game, I'm not sure if he can add something in case GSW will sign him. Don't get me wrong, but
the system that GSW use is offense is the main defense more on offensive side.

Though we never know, as Dwight still can penetrate and dunk the ball and is still a good ring protector and both offensive and defensive rebounder.

If this negotiation fulfil, it might be a good comeback for him, might be possible for another chase for the additional ring.

~snip~
Hey, as someone who sometimes pulls the handle (but only up to a certain point), I totally get what you're saying. Its not about gaming itself; its about where the money comes from. Taking parents' hard-earned money? This is not cool. I'd rather kids save money and buy something useful, or even spend a lot on adventures. There are always penny slots and free internet games that people can play to get that thrill of risk without having to spend a lot of money. But balance is always the most important thing. It makes all the difference to be aware and in control, whether you're at a slot machine, a mall, or somewhere else.
It's not cool, but children often misuse their parents' money by using it for other things. And that is why we may have or often hear about children being involved in criminal cases such as drugs and gambling. This is because there is no supervision from their parents, so children feel free to use their money without having to report it to their parents. Perhaps parents need to educate their children harder so that their children can understand what responsibility means. Once they gamble, they can continue to gamble because, at their age, they can easily be tempted by the offers they see in casinos while they are gambling.

Yes, children mostly misused the money that they are getting from their parents to the point that they will going to spend it on
something that parents don't like or not intend to use the money.

It's always better to educate your kids, as there are many other things in life that they can use those allowances instead of using it for gambling.

Proper education and guidance from the parents to save that money and time and the possibility that they might get addicted.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PYUSD a.k.a Paypal USD on: September 15, 2023, 08:25:48 AM
It is 100% possible that Paypal put their huge userbase to work by pushing the adoption of their stablecoin project and it would definitely fly. Why use USDT/USDC/DAI when you can just use PayPal's stablecoin with the guarantees that the stablecoin would maintain its peg most of the time (because PayPal said so  Cheesy). It's a win/win for PayPal and it's users.

Users => access to crypto through a secure pathway provided by PayPal.

PayPal => A piece of the crypto cake.

PayPal has the resources and strong presence in the Fintech sector to drive its stablecoin towards non-stop success. PYUSD could replace both USDT and USDC as the leading stablecoin on the market. Only time will tell us if this will happen or not. I'm not worried about stablecoins since they don't pose a direct threat to crypto's existence. They are centralized after all. Using a stablecoin would be no different than using traditional Fiat currencies.

The only reason you'd use a stablecoin is if you want to save on fees when day trading or if you want to protect yourself from volatility without cashing out to Fiat. I think stablecoins will attract more newcomers into crypto than anything else. Who knows what the future holds for PYUSD? Just my thoughts Grin

In terms of resources, that statement is true PayPal has decent reserves to support this project, though the success still depends on'
how people who are into crypto to use this new stable coin.

Since PayPal already supporting crypto, it will be up to their end users if how they will utilize the use of this new offer project.

If support comes up, then we will see that PYUSD will be successful, but if there's none, we might see it die naturally.
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: September 15, 2023, 07:53:41 AM
Crypto trading is risky work you will ever do In my view you have to take steps very carefully and wisely. If you are a newbie and want to invest and you have no experience we suggest that you follow the path by buying and then holding for the correct time. You have no care of market fluctuation either it's up or down you just leave your fund for some time. Another is to use DCA in which the risk of losing your assets is very low and you can add funds on a weekly or monthly basis and then wait for the bull market, When it comes then sell your assets it will give you more profits.
It is a risky job if you treat it as your main job. There are real life traders and they know that doing this as their main source is hard.
But with experience that they've gathered all over these years, the risk seems to be cute to them anymore because of that built up that they've gone through.
I agree that for newbies, it's best for them to stay as holder first before they commit into a real life day trader. They also have an option to remain investors and holders.

If they don't have that knowledge better to stay with long-term type of assets, it's better to hold while learning the process. It's not an easy
journey as there are many factors that may affect you when you are dealing with trading.

As newbie, it's always a big puzzle when to buy and when to sell as there's always a quick fluctuation that will really hurt your investment
when something unexpected happens, you might sell at the wrong time as you think that you will lose everything.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 15, 2023, 06:50:45 AM

And he is not really that courageous like Pacquiao who always seeks a good match up even if people are already looking at the opposite side, still he charges towards them like he doesn't care at all and will instead give his best towards his own preparation so that he will go inside the ring ready, he may be the winner or defeated, the important thing for him is that he tried and did his best. Afterwards, he will have his own time to bounce back after that loss, and knowing Pacquiao, he always have many reasons to stay determined.

Definitely true. He wants to fight the best, but it seems he hasn't had the opportunities he desires. It has been a while since he became a champion, so he is very eager to regain that status. He's into a big challenge if he's given the opportunity because he needs to beat Inoue to become a champion again. Perhaps there's a right time for him, a reward for his patience. If he beats Inoue, given the fight will happen, he will become a very popular boxer.

That is if he can do that job successfully, I don't mean to disrespect but look at them and compare what they have done in the past years. Inoue evolved to a much dangerous monster while Casimero is still figuring out what to do to become a champion, other than that, his power seems to go down when he climbed 122 because up until now, we haven't saw the Casimero that we have known before.

Following your argument, it's true that after Inoue unifies all the belt from the previous division and manages to un-strip the current
champ from this new division, he gains lots of hypes and confidence.

427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 15, 2023, 06:21:26 AM
Anyone has seen this podcast? It's about Giannis reiterating that he might leave the Bucks to search for a team that will give him championships,

https://twitter.com/RossGeiger/status/1701592311392797006

"I'm a Milwaukee Buck, but most importantly I'm a winner… If there is a better situation for me to win the Larry O'Brien I have to take that better situation.”

And with that, I think Giannis will leave the Bucks after this contract has ended and as what we have discussed already, might be looking for teams like the Warriors,  Grin

He can probably go to another team, Giannis wants a championship, Milwaukee has no choice but to bring good players to the team, if they don't, Giannis will leave the team.
But I don't think he will go to Golden State.

Warriors need to dispose a lot of talents before he can get Giannis on their team then might it can cause them a lot also a tittle contention since they might lose their valuable pieces for getting him in trade block if that's gonna happen. Also we consider their cap space so its not really possible for now that this Giannis goes to Warriors discussion is not really possible for now. Maybe on other contender teams like Lakers,Suns or Nuggets maybe they can do something to get Giannis and maybe he can work well with this teams.

Another possibility is if Giannis is willing to adjust with his salary for the sake of another title, which may be far from reality, it's more on
the money side and no longer on any pride or any title in my opinion.

But we never know if he can adjust or if Warriors are also interested in him. Maybe they will adjust or maybe they will be willing to pay
for it and also with the luxury tax obligation.

It will be tough, but we never know how or if it's possible if both camps will agree on something.
428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 14, 2023, 02:42:21 PM
Low chance Casimero would get that long-awaited fight against Naoya Inoue. Rankings will be the problem. But we have seen some boxers try to make the champions camp angry and get that fight that they want, it will still depend on the champion if he wants to prove something. But, the organization cannot help him because he ain't even near him.

2 ways. Make them mad and be forced to approve it. Or, get the help of the boxing fans including the popular boxing analysts to boost this fight to happen, but that will depend on Inoue's camp if they are getting itchy to have a match again.
Oh, and another way is to make it look like an act of revenge for Filipinos if ever Tapales loses this match but I don't want to assume just yet. Tapales is preparing like crazy hard on his training so we will see if there will be a change in history.
If Tapales wins, Casimero's chance to face the Monster will increase.

I believe that regardless of the outcome of the Inoue vs. Tapales fight, Casimero still has a decent chance of fighting Inoue. The champion has already announced his interest in staying in the division where he is the reigning champion, which might mean he will accommodate multiple challengers before seeking a new belt at a higher weight.

While he is waiting, Casimero can keep himself busy to ensure that his ranking improves, and I have no doubt that it will happen.

So, I remain optimistic that this anticipated fight will happen in the near future.

We will have to wait and see, I mean, in just 2 fights then Inoue have unified the belt already (assuming he wins against Tapales). Not sure if that is a record of sort, having climb up to a new division and getting all the belts.

So maybe that's why he said that he wants to stay in the division. And perhaps fights all new comers including Casimero in which all of us here wanted to see because we have been deprived of it at 118 lbs.

That's something that will really give him a good credit for his career in case that he will unify all the belts having only 2 fights
in this new division that he enters.

I am also positive that Inoue might stay for some time and maybe will accept some challengers once he holds all the belts, more on the moneymaking side.

Though still early to assume and we never know if things will go according to how most of the fans seen the possible
outcome of this upcoming possible fight between Inoue and Tapales.
429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 13, 2023, 11:46:21 AM
Casimero ML @ 1.10 is quite high and it's somehow unrealistic, so I don't think that the bookies will list it like that knowing Casimero's odds in his past fights are more than that even if the fight still looks the same just like this as Casimero still have the upper hand.

So yes, it's somewhere 1.30 to 1.40 in favor of Casimero. Those odds will be worth it already as I don't really see this Oguni as a threat in Casimero's streak. Aside from that, I'll be watching for some options while the fight is getting near.

I'm sure that as the fight goes near, there are many options/markets in the bookies and i'm contemplating on betting for Casimero to win by knockout as he is so serious now on his training and the good about his training is that he won't go anywhere else as he has built his own gym in his own backyard, this way he could save a lot of money and no more nightlife for sure.

Yeah, I saw that in socmed that he established his own gym, I'm in the impression that he will take things seriously and will try to hype his
name in this division, knowing that Inoue was already up.

If by chance that Inoue will give some time to stay even he managed to unify all the belts after the possible upcoming fight against Tapales, it would be
the best timing for Casimero in case fans will bring the talk using SocMed to make things possible between HIm and Inoue.

for now, let the fight roll and bring some decent profit to his fans. I mean Casimero needs to win, that's all!

Casimero and Inoue will likely win their respective fights, so it's okay to discuss in advance the possible future clash between Casimero and Inoue. It may not be a unification fight, but Inoue is staking his belt on his fight against Casimero because the latter is very unpredictable. He has been an underdog in the past and has surprised the champion, so I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Inoue, as he is a very capable boxer.

Ah okay, if ever that Inoue's camp will allow this challenge for sure many fans from both sides will be happy, it's being discussed
before when they almost meet each other from their past division.

Though that event didn't push thru as Inoue pick the rematch against Donaire first while Casimero got stripped as he didn't meet the weight
that supposedly for his fight defending his belt.

If everything takes place and both win the upcoming fight and media hypes brings the talk into the table, promoters might push it to happen.
430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 13, 2023, 11:09:09 AM
Draymond Green came out today and said that he doesn’t see why the Warriors can’t win another 2 championships. I think that may be a little optimistic. I thought when they had Wiseman that they had a chance to win another one but I don’t think an old CP3 is going to put them over the top. I think they need a big man who can shoot.
I would still consider them a championship contender team. Well, Draymond should be biased with his words because he is confident in his team. Now that he has a clutch player with him, unlike Poole, who struggled in the playoffs, maybe that gives him the confidence. It's still too early, though, but I like the optimism coming from Draymond, as I know it's sincere, given his evident passion for basketball.

Words are easy to bring out from anyone's mouth, but the conclusion always depends on the outcome of the performances of each team.

He can easily say that and he has that capability since Warriors always qualified in terms of chasing the ring, they've got a good squad to compete
and for sure Green is boosting his confidence by speaking about how he sees the potential to win another title.

We never know if CP3 will click pairing with them, if he will, then we might expect GSW to reach back the finals.
431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 13, 2023, 04:48:01 AM

We thought that the Crawford vs Spence might be a much bigger fight than Garcia vs Davis but when it comes to PPV buys, their digits aren't really close to somehow chase the latter's fight on what they did. But yes, I agree, if ever a Crawford vs Canelo fight will happen, there is a good chance that it will be much bigger than them and it could be the biggest fight of the decade as well. How's that?

Yeah, the hypes of Spence vs Crawford are not that much compared with Davis and Garcia. Personal thought is because fans ain't interested
with Spence dramas, it has been long delayed.

Same with you, Canelo's fan based might bring that money plus the fact that interest if how Crawford will try to snatch the belt under Canelos possession.

We need more updates regarding to any possibility of this possible match up to take place,.

It's hard to argue that there are so many people who have lost interest with Spence, he can say that it wasn't his decision, and it was Al Haymon's, but they belong in the same roof so it's just the same. The fact that they toyed Crawford for some years is already a red flag for some fans because if they have no intentions at all, they shouldn't give Crawford some hope because the man has been idle for chasing them.

Right now, there are only speculations on what could happen if Crawford and Canelo will agree to share the same ring but in reality, both camps aren't engaged in talks because both of them still have their own upcoming fight. Maybe soon, 1st or 2nd quarter next year.

Yes, they both need to focus on their own respective upcoming fights. It's just a speculation and more on trying to see if interest
from viewers and fans, will start to flow and call for the negotiation.

I like the point that if ever they open that possibility, there are fans who are interested in watching it and maybe they can bring more money
from their respective pockets.

Money wise, both camps will show interest. They are both passing their primes better to make money while it's still possible to earn more.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: September 13, 2023, 04:30:09 AM
Set a higher winning amount for a certain time, isn't a good practice. Cause for that, you need to continuously rollover until reached the milestone which force you to take high risk what causes lose! Better practice is, always set lower your winning amount, keep patient and try to selft control , learn from pasts and then fine go ahead. Moreover, it is better to roll over on few selected game rather than keep playing for hours randomly. Cause thus playing more and more could result lost due to several attemptions of recovery. So i try to follow this rule

Yeah, if you set your target to a higher position, chance to lose first before reaching it is very possible, better to keep it low
and make sure that you will add that patience and good judgement when the time is needed for you to stop.

There are many factors that can affect you during your game and having a set target will allow you to enjoy and yet gain decently if
you continually practice and follow your set goals.

Possible to make money and lessen the chance of losing huge amount of money.
433  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Grab magkakaroon ng features for crypto, NFT, kelan kaya magkakaroon sa Pinas? on: September 13, 2023, 03:57:37 AM

434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 12, 2023, 12:28:15 PM
It is a very good idea for every gambler to have statistics on how much they are spending on gambling and how much they are also making from gambling, but I don't think that many gamblers have those habits, and that is what causes many of them to become addicted to gambling and why some get broke easily.

Most addicted gamblers are not interested in that stuff and they are more likely going to rush to play as soon as they get the money. they don't consider the fact that if they are losing much every day, their wins will have no meaning anymore because it doesn't cover up what they have lost. now if you look at how they handle such loss, you can say that they don't care about any statistics rather all they want is to play and satisfy their desire to win every game.

Exactly, the intention is just to please the desire that they've got inside. They are not caring anymore about the amount that they can
lose once they played and most of the time even they already win some. There's no count as they will continue to proceed.

And the outcome will still be against them, addicted gambler don't care about anything. There's no control and limitation inside them. All they care about is
to please that lust to keep playing.

Tama.

I think if we are talking about large capitals, then it is no longer about trading, but about investing. If I have enough money that I can be financially independent, then I will not waste time on trading, I will just buy bitcoins and wait for the bull market and think that the profit I will make will be quite large, compared to what I I could make money in trading and at the same time I didn’t waste my time on trading, I just did what I liked. This is the advantage of large capital.
It's just a matter of choosing which one is suitable, trading or long-term investment. Having large capital is one of the plus points that can be utilized so that you can enter into any project. Buy bitcoin and hold it or make quick trades on high volume altcoins. Benefits can actually be obtained from anywhere. If I have large capital then I will do some trades and also buy bitcoin and Ethereum for the long term. it is quite comparable and trading also requires good analytical skills. Stay away from trading if you don't have basic knowledge or reliable analysis.

That last statement values the most. Having good analytical skills and being keen on learning more will give you opportunities to earn from
this venue of investment, not for all but with your determination, your chance will be good.

It's more about how you take the risk and how good you are in understanding every situation that the business will bring you.

Not for someone who got the kind of mindset that it's a quick way to earn money and it will change your life if luck permits.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 12, 2023, 11:08:51 AM
As of now, there's no other Filipino boxer who could potentially give a good challenge to Inoue. It's not Tapales but it's Casimero.

The closest will be Casimero, but we still don't know how the fight will be because they haven't fought yet and we don't know if they will ever will as the ball in in the court of Casimero to be impressive in the super bantamweight division before he will be given the chance to fight the champion in Inoue.

Casimero is heavy-handed and could knock out opponents with just one punch, an attribute that Tapales doesn't have and it speaks on his record with a little above 50 percent KO wins and we have seen how Inoue staggered after he was hit by that lethal hook of Donaire so maybe if it's Casimero's punch that would touch Inoue's chin, there is a chance that the latter would go down.

So sad that until now there are no solid information yet on when the fight will be held but rest assured guys that this will push though IMHO.

Might be possible that promoters still waiting if fans will call for it, I mean, if there's no hype they will continue to delay the update
a kind of gesture to see if they will be able to bring engaging interest to the fans.

We know that it's another unification fight, a champion against another champion, but unlike with other divisions, Tapales is far from the popularity
of Inoue.

More on how all the camps will be compensated and make money in case they finalized the negotiations and bring the fight into reality.

Glad to hear that Boban Marjanović is sticking around with a 1 year deal to play on the Rockets. He’s funny.

Good for him, but they can't really utilize him a lot; his minutes are dropping, so I don't know. Despite his size, I think he might not last much longer in the NBA. The Rockets might be his last team in the NBA. I hope he will be able to be more effective in helping a rebuilding Rockets.

By the way, how much did he make for this contract? I didn't see the figure in the news I read regarding this matter.

With how the game is being played now, I agree that he might not last for long, though I'm glad that he is still able to get a contract and
still be able to play with the Rockets, but for sure his minutes will be lessened.

Aside from his height, there's nothing else, as his speed is surely far from those prime big men that may attack him or will compete against him inside.

Just a simple entertainment to see the living giant continue playing more on how the coach will give him the opportunity to play.
