1261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: January 04, 2023, 09:18:22 AM

it could be said that ethereum is the queen of bitcoin.
because ethereum still depends on the price of bitcoin and as we have seen several times bitcoin reached ATH in the bullish season and ethereum will also increase in price. and we all admit that ethereum has a very high value compared to other altcoins, because I consider ethereum to be the safest altcoin.
and i have speculation that ethereum may drop below $1k in 2023 but surely it will recover soon along with bitcoin

It's a crypto cycle that might take place, you can say that Eth always follows bitcoin in every market movement, we are all speculating
and if the market will not be nice to us, we might see more downfall next year.

People who do have strong understanding to this investment will continue to follow and will continue to chase the low price
and store it inside a safe wallet.

Hoping to see good profits when the market starts to pump back.
1262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: January 03, 2023, 08:12:53 PM
There are two things you cannot avoid in crypto trading which are loss and profit, you trade to make profits or you trade to experience loss which is part of some of the things that made people to like trade in the community. Many traders in the community trade to make a huge amount of money but sometimes they ended up not achieving anything than to learn more from their losses to improve in future. I guess, Many traders will not use loan to invest in this bear market than to use the little they have to invest and hold for the price to change positively before they can visit market to earn something good.

Most of the time the outcome is not favoring to your investment, only few who can predict it right. With how volatility really affecting
the market, you need to spend time and money before you can achieve good success.

Along the way, if you are really keen in succeeding to this venture, you will find ways to convert those losses into a good knowledge,
factors that can drive you to speculate much better.

Not a guaranteed success but if you will continue to learn you can have a good advantage.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: January 03, 2023, 01:21:38 PM
i believe davis has better advantage when it comes to prep for this fight as he has a tune-up fight before garcia, whereas, garcia cancelled his fight with gesta. which should be a very good one to test his preps.
Nah, I don't think so, Garcia wants to prepare well for this fight, he said he wants to focus on his fight with Davis that's why he canceled the fight, so that means he believes that his decision was right and he will fully focus on his upcoming big fight. Anyway, let's just find out on the fight date, we will definitely know who's ready or not.
I would do the same if I were in his place. Gervonta Davis is not an easy opponent so it is better to be prepared earlier than his opponent. If for @AmoreJaz Davis has advantage because of this tune up and so is Garcia. He can study Davis technique, movement or current fighting style from this fight. Not to mention his mind will focus only on this fight.

Either way, it will give Garcia an advantage and a disadvantage because if Garcia pushed through that tune-up fight, he will have the first hand knowledge how to fight Davis because Gesta moves like him but he's not the kind of boxer that Garcia can beat easily and that's where the disadvantage come in because his time to prepare against Davis will be much lesser but he already have any knowledge, whereas if Garcia prepares directly, he won't have any knowledge but he's prepared, the downfall is that it's not that sure that his plans will be correct.

That can happen if he takes the risk and proceed in fighting Gesta, having a good insight on how your possible opponent will move and
anticipate his attack with the same strategy will help you a lot.

But just like what you mentioned, Gesta is not an easy opponent and the chance of him losing the fight is possible, maybe he or his
camp see that so they decided to not to continue.

Instead, they will prepare harder with the upcoming fight against Davis.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 01:09:10 PM

Yeah, another one for the books this season, when they thought that they have won the game, Mitchell find his zone and they closely chirp that lead and he was short of just 2 rebounds to make it a triple double and bested what Luka did.

This season is a whole bunch of surprises causes these young lads are doing great even when they've not yet reached the championship games. After all, it's all about the team and I think this is the new trend nowadays hopefully we see someone breaking those records in this same season as well. They are focusing on one single player and looks like it works very well nowadays Luka is proving it right where he scored 40+ points in his past few games this season. rather than making some incredible stats for every single player in the starting lineups, everyone focuses to give their star player the assists he deserves.

Mitchell had 71 points, that's extraordinary, he was like the Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers during Kobe's prime years. We will surely remember that, he has become more comfortable playing with the Cavaliers and just like the Warriors, they are good in defending their home.
Reminds me with how Kobe take those shots when he holds the ball, I see him fits with the Cavs system just like how they give
both Lebron and Kyrie.

Let see if the Cavs will move forward and be contender once more, or it will be a same fate for Mitchell when he still wearing
a Jazz uniform, continue to be on the playoff but unable to move forward.

But his 71 points performance are already added to NBA history a 5th player to make these huge productions.
1265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 03, 2023, 11:07:21 AM
Holding, in my opinion, would be the best option, but people are always looking to trade and make a quick profit. When you warn, particularly about futures, people often ignore your warnings. I am aware of one person who made quite a profit from spot trading I wonder what drew her attention to futures, where lo and behold, a sizable amount was liquidated. If trading is what you want to do, remove greed from your mind, as for me personally I always accumulate and hold.

We can't remove that fact those people really wanted to have a quick profit when placing their investment, trying to earn as quick as they
can and as big as possible.

But that's also the reason why many people losses huge amount in taking that chance, thinking that in a short run they can make decent
amount of money and not to think about the potential of losing huge.

Looking at your perspective, holding is good as long as you know the value of your investment and you understand the big potential
of much better compensations.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 02, 2023, 11:40:26 PM
So the top 3 r ight now are not assured that they can go to the finals, those are inexperience teams and yeah, come playoff time, who knows, with a healthy Curry and Wiggins, it might be a different Warrior team, upping up their level.

Looks like others are really referring to the current standing in predicting who will be on the Finals or so.

The final seeding is not that necessary as sure experienced teams will unleash their best once playoffs come.

Standings are only for bracketing. When playoffs come, all teams will have a 0-0 standing. Pointing to Warriors, they are build different when playoffs come.

In the playoff all will be back to 0-0 the one who will win in each series will be moving to the next round, those on the top seed from
the current bracketing might have an edge but not a guarantee.

In regards with GSW, I can't say nothing but to agree that with the healthy Wiggins and Curry and the kind of chemistries that they
are showing now, the defending champ are still a good competitor to chase another ring.

1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 02, 2023, 11:22:08 PM
But for the fight between Ioka and Franco, it's a unification so very difficult to reverse until all bodies agree on the decision, but I doubt that they will do that, they can simple order a mandatory rematch, best case scenario.

Why there's a need for reverse? As I watched some of the clips of that fight, they are really fighting toe-to-toe. That won't be subject for sure for a review since there should be no controversial thing about that fight. Besides, I doubt one of the party are complaining aggressively to the point that they will file a case.

The DRAW result seems like a fair judge to me and no biased decision or anything.

About a mandatory rematch, I think not gonna happened as Franco sticks with his target for a long, WBC Junior bantamweight champion Juan Francisco Estrada.

Ioka on the other hand will be mandated by WBO to fight for a title defense.

Fair and nothing to say about the decision, regarding to the possibility of a rematch, that only depends on both camps, especially if
money speaks louder even the career intention can be changed if dealing with huge amount of money.

Handlers and promoters will think about the possibilities of bringing both fighters if they see good pressure from fans and sponsors.

Updates will be announced either there's a complaint between the camps, or they decided to take the rematch. We can only speak
on our opinions, but the finals, judgments are still on the organization to declare.
1268  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 02, 2023, 10:57:57 PM
Stake.com has been the leading casino with the highest amount of withdrawal, many of stake players have withdrawn up to $100,0000 and above. So duelbit big withdrawal without issues is another confirmation that we have good and reputable casinos as and this is what makes the difference between big casinos and smaller ones.
I never heard DuelBits has frozen big withdrawals, they still have manual confirmation unlike instant withdrawals on Stake but never faced any issue last year on both platforms. Why did you compare both platforms? There are some big players on DuelBits as well, during last Christmas raffle draw one guy had over 10k tickets,IIRC.

Having big withdrawals without any issue gives credit to the casino and with how I understand the post above you, he's also positive
about how Duelbits handle the customer withdrawal.

Same with you, with the manual withdrawal and without client complain aside from those which only the site and the affected gamblers
who can insist with their reasons, Duelbits perform well and nothing to ask but to continue good services.

Another year means another working business and good a relationship with the clients will always bring positive effect to the business.
1269  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: January 02, 2023, 10:32:49 PM
I think it's wise to invest smartly against 2024, there is high tendency of hitting it big in crypto from next year to 2024. I advise you put reasonable capital on bitcoin and few funds in altcoin. Don't sleep on this one. It's a banga!! Let's make this money together.

    - You know the truth, I have done several times to save bitcoin via DCA but later in a short time, I also sold it due to the need for my expenses at home and with my family.

Maybe I still really need to save little by little and discipline myself not to move or spend too much. Because I believe in Bitcoin as a really good long-term investment.

Most will agree with your statement, Bitcoin as long-term investment or retirement investment can bring you decent benefits, it's tough
to save there's no doubt about that.

But if you have that good discipline, you will be able to save portion of your spare money into bitcoin and allow it to be forgotten
while being kept inside your safe wallet, the only way that you won't think of selling and spending it.

If you can deal with that, then you will succeed holding your asset and sell it with your target value.

1270  Economy / Economics / Re: The Taste of an Economic Downturn on: January 02, 2023, 10:12:33 PM
Things have not been that easy with affordability in meeting up with the daily needs because of the poor economy all over the world whereby inflation impact has created fear to what tomorrow may be, it has been a race of the survival of the fittest, things have gone so badly that obe has to almost lose hope in restoration back to the usuals, the economy downtown is what has been created unnoticed ever since the pandemic closedown the shut down many businesses and now we are beginning to see the effect of it since the past years.

Indeed, we are now on our survival the downtrend of the economy is being affected and we are all witnessing how tough life
after that close down when pandemic hit each affected country.

We need to find ways to combat the inflation and try our best to survive, the growing increase in terms of every product that
we needed in our everyday life.

Things that we needed to have just to survive, it's fearful but we don't have any option but to go with the flow and stay alive.
1271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: January 01, 2023, 08:50:55 PM
And we indeed have to know our own limits, so we don't use excess money to play gambling.

The reality is, users will really end up depositing more of their extra money in able to reach the eligibility requirements for the said promotions.

I don't see what's the point of having an interest in joining promotions if they don't have the expectation that will really end up doing several deposits.

Setting limits is fine but might not be followed properly if aiming for getting the rewards on bonuses or promotions.
If gamblers forget these limits, they will only spend their money without being able to try to recover previous losses and this has happened time and time again with many gamblers. Trying to get bonuses from deposits will be okay as long as we can know the limits we have because there is no point if we spend so much money just to chase those bonuses. Apart from that, trusted casinos will always provide other bonuses in the future and at that moment, we can try to follow them.

As long as you know your limit and you are good at managing your bankroll, aiming for bonuses is not bad. You just need
to know how to limit yourself to prevent overspending your money.

There are people who can enjoy the bonus, treating it as an additional way to extend the stay and continue enjoying whatever
gambling, they are involved.

But the outcome depends on luck and if how you manage your time and money while playing.

1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 31, 2022, 12:02:00 PM
How about LeBron James tonight. Even Kevin Durant had to tweet about the performance for the old guy. He put up 47 points on 66% shooting from the field and 75% from 3-point range to go along with 10 rebounds and 9 assists. A shame he didn’t get that last assist for the triple double just for the extra effect. Great to see the second oldest guy to touch the court this year still getting it done.

To be honest, I bet against the Lakers as I think that the Hawks are going to win at their homecourt. They even take a good 10 point lead if I'm not mistaken in the first half. But suddenly Lebron has that one of the nights wherein he is on the zone, almost a triple double.

Still though the record of Kareem is for Lebron to break this season, the way he is scoring and playing at high level even at his 20th season, could be the one of the greatest achievement in NBA this season.

I don't see that coming too. I was in the impression that Hawks will protect their home court crowd, but LeBron comes out and bring
the challenge in his shoulder.

What a nice gift to himself in his 38th birthday, I see in him that he's really aiming to break Kareem's record and that's not by far with
how he is playing the game.

Stat's wise he's really capable in breaking that record.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2022, 10:27:50 PM
Right now, Houston is in rebuilding mode, they are building young superstars like Jallen Green and Porter Jr. so Harden will be stealing the spotlight from them.
Those young stars will learn so much from James Harden as well, so it will be alright to steal their spotlight for a while. Harden has a lot of experience, if he can teach those young guns, maybe they will be successful in Houston. But if he goes back to Houston, Harden may delay his championship aspiration. He is already 33, I do not think he can wait for those two to major and get into their prime. Let's see this summer if he will pursue going back to Houston.
Latest news I could find is that Harden answered the rumours and saying they are doing great in Sixers as a team and he doesn't know where the rumours came from. But there were so many news about this, I don't think it could be just a rumour, isn't it? If this came true, it would be a very bold move. I don't think Rockets want this kind of trade. But, on the other hand, they have too many young and high potential players. Sometimes a team has a game plan, but sometimes the desired goal cannot be reached due to the inexperience of the players and sometimes the inadequacy of the players. Sometimes a team doesn't have any game plan but you rely on the skills and/or experience of the players but the desired goal cannot be achieved. Rockets has neither a game plan nor a talented and/or experienced roster. Young people in their hands do not have the chance to develop or mature in such an environment. The best that jalen green can get in his career is j.r smith, if he has the right pieces on his side. He plays like an ordinary player who doesn't have game intelligence, who trusts his athleticism and isolation games if he has a day. The sad part is that this man was selected number 2 in the 2021 drafts, ahead of Evan Mobley and Scottie Barnes. I find the Harden news for Rockets too unnecessary. He is also too old.

Probably it could have steam from Harden playing great again with the Sixers, and you know that there will be rumors surrounding him when his detractors find him very successful at least for him.

Nevertheless, I will agree that he doesn't have to go back to Houston, he is perfectly fitting into the Sixers system and this could be his last chance to become a champion with a prime Joel Embiid. He can't waste any more time as he is coming to a stage wherein in the next couple of years, his game could go down anytime.

He's fitting with Sixers system as Embiid is really adjusting together with the rest of the players around him, no need to go back and fit
yourself to different people that will surrounds you.

Better to maximize all the tools that you have now and established the chemistry that will put your team up when winning each game
that you have.

After the All-Star we will see how Harden will help the Sixers and gaining a decent position in the playoff.
1275  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: December 30, 2022, 09:46:59 PM
Some investors fear the current market situation and looking down on Bitcoin because of its current price not realizing that it's already time to accumulate more of it and hold until the market recovers again. Holding would really be the best thing to do during this msrket season. It's hard to risk on day trading without enough knowledge because it's a broad and complex thing. If you want to make a good profit without dealing with too much risks, holding will be a wise move.

On that particular statement about day trading, I agree that without deeper knowledge you will add more pressure with your investment and can
result to a huge number of losses.

Crypto market had a huge volatility, either you can use it in your favor after learning the fundamentals and have a good overview of most factors
that can affect the market movement in general.

Those are the things that will allow you to decide whether to hold or to do the short trade.
1276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 30, 2022, 09:26:24 PM
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is perhaps the richest sportsperson in recorded history. He received a record $300 million for his last fight against McGregor, which none of the other sportsmen can dream about. The good thing about Floyd is that he never splurged his wealth or misspent it. He was careful with his money. And also, he never overstretched himself. He retired at the age of 40, when a lot of critics were of the opinion that he had at least 2-3 years left. Given all this, I don't think that anyone can accuse him of being money minded.
$300M for real? With a match against a professional athlete for other combat sports. That's totally a lot of money and contract for him. That's a big payday for him and he's certainly fits to the alias that he's got, Money.
I agree that Floyd in terms of his wealth, he knows how to handle it. People may see him boasting all about it but that's not the point, he's worked hard for it wherever and whatever his financial situation right now.

He secured his future, and he didn't change his mind set when in terms of money, he keeps collecting when he see opportunities he will grab
and add it in his savings.

That fight with McGregor give both fighters a huge number of profits, an exhibition fight where fans and sponsors really bite up and
allow these fighters to convert their names into a huge money-making machine.

Hardwork with good management of his finances is equal to Money Floyd.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2022, 04:58:59 AM
Yeah, perhaps the new coach has something to do with the current chemistry of the team. And it seems that the drama surrounding diva 1, Kyrie Irving has been settled and so it diva 2, Ben Simmons, comfortable on his position, sometimes he score more points and assists and then play good defense, and then games wherein he is not existent. But at least there are no more noises behind. However, they are winning so everything is good, but when they score losing again, for sure there will be finger pointing again. So we shouldn't sit with this one, the best test will come on the playoff and who will be their opponent. Still very far though, many things can happen.

Kevin Durant gets what he wanted and that might be one of the reasons why there's no more distraction on his mind and he's just playing basketball on his usual-self. Good to see those supposed headaches of the Nets are now working well together that seems nothing happened before.

Off-night performance though, if happened, is usual but what matters here is, the chemistry is really doing well.

Hopefully, the Nets will be able to keep up that good momentum for a long and more importantly, away from any injuries.

Didnt expect such a good number of results by Brooklyn Nets. They havent played good in years and now with both Durant and Irving doing big things and scoring like crazy we can expect from them to go really far this season if the injuries stay away.

It's been a long delayed from these two superstars, they almost did it the first time, if only Kyrie didn't get that injury and that last shot of KD
counts as 3 points then probably they are the one who went to the east finals and not the Bucks

But moving back to their current performance, we all see that they really pushing their best to make things happen to bring the
enjoyment with the fans.

Let see if they can make their way to another playoff run and make something happen for this franchise.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 29, 2022, 10:37:17 PM
Yes this is what he must do for now he find and trained hard for a new strategy to defeat Davis as we all know that Davis once he will have a good time and make those punches for sure he is unstoppable.  And that must be Garcia will look at, but anyways for me Garcia can do that and have a good chance of winning but if he can not find a good angle and a good strategy then it's all for Davis.
Garcia is a very stubborn guy, I like his determination, of course he is still young but in spite of this he has already managed to achieve a lot and he has good speed and a good punch. For him, this fight can be called a chance to declare himself at the highest level, but Tank is too difficult an opponent, and he is a clear favorite in this fight. It will be interesting to watch this fight, but I do not expect a miracle, I think that Tank will knock out Garcia.

Yup, If Ryan will take Tank down, he will climb to the next level of his career, but I doubt Tank will give him that easy access, Tank will do
everything not to give the young fella that chance.

But we know that inside this sport, upset is always possible. We will expect an entertaining exchange of punches from these two gentlemen,

I'm assuming to see a good KO finished whoever wins. Both deserve to earn the praise for each fan who will support this fight.
1279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin survived the Christmas market pressure on: December 29, 2022, 10:19:42 PM
Most at times its very hard to truly predicts about the bitcoin price movement, basically people wouldn't like to sell at this period of time rather wanting to hold their bitcoin despite the pressure and the past occurrences yet it doesn't went below $13k although this bear market was so unbearable compared to 2017 bear market and therefore, from most of thread i have read so far there is no bull coming soon rather many speculation was pointing at after the 4 years bitcoin circle (which is after the bitcoin halving) then we would experience bull market.
This period of bear market became almost unbearable when the unfortunate FTX and Luna scam happened and sent the market into a red mood for this long, the year 2022 is nothing to be compared to 2017 because most events that happen in both years a widely different.

Because apart from the altcoin projects crash in 2017 there were no cases of exchange hacks or scams as we hard this year.

But this also may have put bitcoin on a downtrend price for so long but we can't drop any lower that we're we are now.

We can't guarantee that there is no big news that may pull the trigger and push the market for more downfall, the situation between
2017 and 2022 are different but the similarities will depend on how investors will react.

It's a tough assumption but if you do believe that Bitcoin will not suffer for more downfall then it will be a good time for you to add
more asset into your wallet then waits for the bounce back.

Making decision though is not easy but it's doable that you can earn compensation if you buy in the right timing.

I go with a good chemistry among the Nets players. They are sharing the ball and they are trusting the players who are taking
the shots, I see even sometimes KD and Kyrie show some aggressions while inside the court.

Roles players are always working and adjusting to how these stars played. KD and Kyrie are enjoying working with whoever
inside the court.

They are maximizing the space either to take control of the ball or moving without the ball and receiving the pass before
taking their shots.
