1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 10:10:18 PM
So it seems like NBA legend Michael Jordan is finally willing to give up his majority ownership of the Charlotte Hornets. Serious talks are ongoing and I would like to see Jordan let go as the majority owner. The team has been failing to perform and is one of the weakest teams in the NBA for over a decade. Maybe the new majority owner can guide the team to success. Now that most NBA teams are capable of competing in the playoffs, the possible new majority owner should be willing to spend more especially since the team now has potential when healthy.

Source: Michael Jordan in talks to sell majority ownerhsip stake in Charlotte Hornets, per report

His selling is going to be the best decision right now. Because the team has not been having good performances for a long time. I actually believe if he waits for a long period of time, the performance is not going to be better, actually, the performance is going to get worse over time. So the decision of selling ownership right now is actually good. Just get as much money as you can before the team is worth nothing.

A wise decision indeed, with the current status of the team and the amount of potential value if you'll going to weight it up possible
that you will go to the same direction as what MJ will project it by now.

Selling the majority shares and remain to have a decent amount of investment around the organization will give him huge amount
of money.

A good investment to release out after more than 10 years, a projected more than a billion of dollar that MJ will earn here.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 17, 2023, 01:47:20 PM

Tank Davis also mentioned in interviews that Ryan has earn his place already and he deserved to face him. (Whatever he means by that, it's open for interpreration), maybe moving forward he is going to be selective of his opponents or whoever he wants to face for the money.

Maybe he thinks he is the king and Ryan Garcia is just the top challenger for him. However, that's still underestimating his opponent because despite both being champs, Davis sees himself on a higher level. I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect.
There are top challengers are well, we obviously have the champion in Devin Haney. But it seems that this two are really destined to fight each other, for the respect and obviously for the money itself.

So it's time for ticket scalpers again, Lol, for sure there are fans willing to spend that huge money to pay underground even if the price could be x2 as what @bbc.reporter pointed out.

Absolutely mate tank Davis believe himself that he is the king of his division. And without a doubt we can say that it because what we saw his previous matches he proves to us that he is tank Davis the real champion and no one can beat him up. But in this juncture Ryan Garcia bring himself to the ring and want to say that he can defeat Tank Davis even if not in a knockout but at least he will win. And the best question for this is can Tank Davis will win or Ryan Garcia will overtake The tank .

We will know and conclude that after the game, right now we are all speculating, and we don't know if how both fighters are
preparing for this upcoming event.

Like what you mentioned, Garcia is challenging Davis and he wanted to prove that he can beat the champ.

While in Davis side, he believes that he will bet Garcia and he will remain the best in his division.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 01:37:23 PM

I do agree, they have the DNA mentality so it's hard to beat that. But as far as their lineup goes, it's not that solid as last year. And the another bad news is that Iggy is injured and may not play in the playoffs.

And so they have Ty Jerome, Moody, JaMychal Green that might not be enough to make a push this year.

Curry and Klay And Draymond will have to do a lot now since their bench is not that deep anymore.

It's too early to tell, man. Let the Warriors continue to struggle until they figure out how to win. Despite not having a secured playoff spot, I don't think they will easily give up their championship chance. This season, they are really a bad road team as their winning rate is very low. However, you can be assured that they will play better at home. So, the best of 7 is enough for them to at least win a game on the road and perfect the home games to win.

Yes, let them figure it out and find the best adjustment to continue their chance to defend their title. We don't know how
the next would be for the Warriors, but knowing them, they will not easily give it up.

Let's enjoy their performances and hope for the best. With the trio and the supporting cast, they still have the chance.

They will figure it out and find the solution. They are the Warriors and they always have the competitiveness.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: March 17, 2023, 02:53:54 AM

Yes, ML is not that attractive considering that Shakur Stevenson is listed as heavy favorite by the bookies and certainly, you need to put a lot of funds for that moneyline before you can even consider the profits of your wager but putting a lot of funds into unattractive odds have a lot of risks entailed and surely nobody wanted that risks even if you're a bigtime gambler. I reckon that the Shakur win via KO/TKO might be much more profitable to bet since Shakur's ratio is just below 50 percent, let's just wait for another options in the weeks to come.

Shakur is a class fighter and we want to see him in big fights that will be considered a legacy fight after he hurdles this fight his handlers should secure a million-dollar legacy fights something like a Garcia - Davis fights or a Haney - Lomachenko.
this fight obviously lacks attention from the media because it's a cherry-picked fight its eclipsed by big fights but it's good that the fight will come early before big fights of the year.
All bookies will favor Shakur, it will shock the boxing world if he loses this fight.

ML is not attractive maybe we will wait for more option when the fight starts something like what round or the range of it before
the fight ended or if it's KO or Decision winner,

But along the way, it's Shakur who really have the upper hand and just how you say it, a cherry-pick for him and bookies will give him the big edge.

Moving on, let's wait for some opportunity to make some bucks here if there's something decent.
1025  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: March 17, 2023, 02:44:51 AM
Act wisely and invest responsibly because All traders, including seasoned pros, make these errors, for which they ultimately pay a price. The primary prototype that a trader should control is greed. Beginners and traders succumb to greed and overtrade, which leads to blunders. I am aware that keeping is occasionally preferable, which is why they always recommend trading within your means. If you go over budget and trade with your savings, you may be obliged to sell the coins at key moments when keeping them could have been a better choice.
You have said too many important things.

Having a budget is necessary for traders and also, being greedy is one of the reasons why many traders go beyond with their trades. They think that it's normal for them to ask for that much profit.

But in the end, they're not even profiting and instead, they're losing more due to that. Being greedy won't bring you to a better place whether you're a trader or a holder.

Most of the time yes, but there is also greedy trader who maximize their benefits and manage to earn decently with such kind
of strategy, but again most of them losses a lot.

Especially those who can't control that greediness, instead of earning, they find themselves losing.

Still far better to have a good money management and good balance with your limitations for your investment/trades.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 16, 2023, 03:43:12 PM
...Anyone though was surprised to see Leonard Ellerbe on the background? The guy with that white beard, he is Floyd's CEO and we all know that Davis didn't renew his contract with Floyd. But according to the news, he will be training at Floyd's gym in Las Vegas, so I guess everything is really cool between the two camps despite Davis no longer under Floyd. And I think it is a advantage for Tank, at least he has someone more experience behind him. And who knows, Floyd might drop to his own gym and still mentor Tank because this is the biggest fight of his career, both of them including Ryan. Goosen's training gym is in LA, so most likely Ryan will train there as he is from California.

So looking at boxing's top librarian Boxrec, Mayweather Promotions is part of this event along with GBP (Ryan Garcia's promoter). TGB is probably the lead promoter here since Brown is always in the middle during pictorials and is usually the promoter tabbed by most PBC events.

Tank probably remained a promotional-free agent like Canelo and is free to fight under any promotions. PBC is the real promoter anyways so if Tank has a managerial contract and wants to continue working with Al then he doesn't really need a promotional contract that will take a portion of his events profits.

Yes, it certainly seems like it to me as well because Tom Brown of the TGB Promotions is also mentioned first whenever they advertise this fight while Oscar of the GBP is the co-promoter. And for Tank Davis being a promotional-free agent, he might sign under Al Haymon of the PBC but I'm under the impression that Tank Davis is also looking forward to build his own promotional company as the name GTD Promotions which is also his logo.

He might be routing to that, I mean with such indication it's simply showing that he wanted to have his own promotions, if he
continue his way, winning against Garcia, the chance to bring more hypes under his name.

A very good promotion for his desire next destination. It's no longer new to this sport as we see more legends who use their names to
start their own promotion business.

Moving back, the fight is nearing and for sure we will hear and read more trash talks.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 16, 2023, 03:33:25 PM
Lakers having a rough start against Houston, and there's no Davis, so it seems that the field is even although the Lakers should have the experience in this game. But so far the young Houston team are dictating the game, with a huge lead in the first quarter.

Lakers need this one pretty much, and if they lost to a low team like Houston, it will hurt their momentum.
It was a pretty bad decision to rest AD even though he wanted to play. The coach may have overestimated his team's capability without their top player. This definitely hurt their chances of qualifying for the play-in tournament so let's see if the decision to sit AD will pay off and translate to consecutive wins in their next couple of games.

After this game Lakers need to think about their action,

losing in this crucial stage is not a good sign as they might miss their chance in moving to the next round.

Not good for sure to those who support them and bet for them as the outcome didn't favor them chances that some might use this game
for a parlay, then lose their bets. A sorry opportunity, but shit happens as we know we are still in gambling.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 16, 2023, 02:31:10 PM
Nah, I'm going to pass on that one. It's not that I'm disrespecting Fulton nor underestimating him, it's just that it is truly hard to bet against the Naoya Inoue who is touted as the monster himself just like his alias. Fulton might be fine as a comb at 122 but I cannot stand betting against the favorite in this case, it will be a profitable wager for sure if it turns out that the champion successfully defended his belt but that is a big if for now as I know Inoue will always evolve into a much stronger monster if he will face a competitive and strong boxers. For comparison, look at Inoue before and after his 1st fight against Donaire.
I agree. I am also hesitant to bet for the champion here and that's not because I am underestimating him, it's just that Naoya Inoue can be explosive especially now with his new goal to dominate the new weight class.
Plus, it's not like he leaped on higher heights, he just went upward one weight away which could be perfect for his body build. I mean, this could be the weight class where he perfectly fits and won't have any trouble when the weigh-ins happen.
So, he is comfortable and in condition. This is the formula for a boxer to win a fight, especially for a boxer who had gained a lot of experience fighting strong ones in his past fights.
Even if they will give an amount that is difficult to resist for Fulton, I won't take it.

That's interesting point when analyzing the fight, Inoue just move a weight away from the current that he fully dominated,
it's not a big change and like you, it's more comfortable for him as he's still on his prime.

We can witness both greatness from these two champs, one was the challenger who wanted to climb up and earned more titles under his belt.

And the other one who will defend his title and will try to upset the heavy favorites.
1029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: who would you trust? on: March 15, 2023, 09:39:27 AM
Old trader with a lot experienced seems most trusted and know about market condition than beginner although seems smart how to research and analyze with chart trading, experience is the best teacher what I heard when still on junior high school. No doubt with most experienced trader smart than beginner in cryptocurrency trading because faced many moment when Bitcoin drop or pump.
There is no guarantee in the market and it doesn't matter who is experienced or not experienced but definitely, an old trader has got the upper hand given that he has made most of the mistakes of which a new trader is yet to go through.

This gives you a reason to search out your own experience by making the mistakes and taking notes of what you got wrong. It would be very difficult for me to trust in the result that I happen not to be in on the plan or knows the process to have arrived there.

Hence, I rather not trade on another trader's perspective but, try my hands on some analysis and see how it turns out. Better still, I go with a demo.

Past experienced matters, that's for is the advantage of experienced trader, they can see opportunity and they can analyze the
market movement whether if they needed to adjust and change their position.

New traders don't have that capability yet, they are just leaning with the knowledge they've learned and from how they understand the business.

Choosing what pattern to follow is always going to rely in your own judgement, following experienced or newbie always
rely to your decision making.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 15, 2023, 09:32:21 AM
As far as upsets, Fulton is the champion and a live dog, so it's possible, but it's unlikely to happen because of what we have seen on Inoue in his last couple of fights in 118 lbs.

I think Stephen Fulton is the only boxer as a dominant champion that Naoya Inoue will face for the first time in his career. Most of the time, Inoue defends his belts but this time he's the challenger. It's been also always a rare situation when we see a challenger as a Favorite and that's how strong Inoue is.

Fulton even as a champion is facing a tough wall to destroy. Can't wait to see them settling the score in the ring.

I think the odds should be lower than 1.37. There's little respect given to the champion, which is why the odds are quite high. However, I would take it as an opportunity since Inoue is a proven KO artist. He wouldn't be called the Monster for nothing. I am excited to see how Inoue will defeat the champion and become the reigning champion in this division. He might defend his title for a while before deciding to move up.

An odds ranging from 1.37 or lower is decent enough for Inoue being listed as the champion because even if Fulton is the underdog, we cannot overrule the upset here because he is not an ordinary champion who just got lucky in possessing those belts just like Butler at 118, Fulton is a 2-belt champion so let's expect that he will give Inoue a good fight that might be more challenging than what Donaire gave to him in their first encounter. A good toe-to-toe fight is pretty much a good sight to see.

I like your comparison and maybe Fulton can bring the entertainment that fans will surely love, those who like taking the risk
can put their money for Fulton and hope that he will showcase his skills and talent to avoid losing.

It will be a test for Inoue if he can really strip the belt out from Fulton after choosing to move up in this new division.

Let see how he will continue if he can still dominate to this new weight division.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 15, 2023, 09:04:56 AM
Overall, the Lakers are a good team to watch out now because after the trade deadline, they are coming from a team who can't get a play-in spot to now a team who might at least enter the playoffs. They have players who are good on offense, but at the same time, they also have players who are also good on defense. Davis on this game lead his team with a double-double 35 points and 17 rebounds. Beasley and Russell combined for 41 points.

I'm a bit surprised TBH that the Lakers ended up winning by only 15 points. I mean we've seen the lead of the Lakers go as high as 30+ points. Well, the good thing is that they didn't let the Pelicans get the momentum from the start until the end even though it's their home court. I just hope that they will win on their next game and will be on .500.

Another great win by the Lakers! Haters are going to hate, but they are showing us they are a completely different team. Winning on the road is difficult, but they managed to do it against the Pelicans and have dominated them. They are a great team, and we will no longer talk about their struggles, as they are demonstrating excellent chemistry that some of us did not expect after the trade deadline.

Another great game for them, they are showing the fans the worth of supporting them. Haters will be there as always.
They are just waiting for something that will give them the satisfactions.

But with the current outcome of their games, they've got more wins than loss while LeBron is resting,
not sure how it would be for them once LeBron starts to play back,

hope he will be the one that will adjust for the team and not the team will adjust for him to continue their winning outcome.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 14, 2023, 06:44:30 PM
It's not every day that we witness a good team losing against a bad team. However, last night we saw how the Rockets beat the Celtics, and the other night we saw how the Spurs beat the Nuggets. This has become normal in the NBA. So if you are a bettor, you would love to see this as it gives you a great opportunity to make more money by betting on the underdog.

Teams play 82 matches in regular season. They make long trips for away games. It's natural to lose some games even if they are the heavy favorite. There is no sure bet in NBA. Play-offs and finals are different type of games, teams give their %100 in these matches. But in regular season games teams don't care much because those matches can be compensated.

Still, Celtics loss was unexpected. Brown did everything and scored 43 but they still lost. It was one of bad days for Tatum. If he had scored with better percentage, Rockets couldn't have won this game. In the end Rockets is still at the bottom and waiting for the lottery, while Celtics is in second place comfortably.

I go with your point in terms of Tatum performance if he manages to backup Brown for sure the outcome is different but it's not everyday
or every game a player will perform what the usual.

There are times that due to fatigue or just an off night they unable to produce the projected stats that the team is leaning to them.

Especially if you are the alpha of the team, your production matters, but then again, they will just let it go and move on to their next game.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 14, 2023, 10:16:07 AM
Houston Rockets vs Boston Celtics (-12.5) = Boston Celtics Win 1,90 Odds.

You've just gotta give these young Houston Rockets team huge credits for their win against the Boston Celtics and their stars, The chemistry between those young rookies were rock solid today, and you'd expect them to fold when the Celtics came calling back with a run of their own, I really have not seen them played so connected this well, although the Celtics can be said to have had a rough night, but I think such statement would only undermine the efforts of the Houston Rockets players because the win was well merited in my candid opinion.

Upset happens and lots of bettors for sure got fired out, especially those who added this game to the parlay. Unexpected things that happened
but we all know that it's just a part of it.

Congrats to anyone who take the Rockets today both ML and Handicap a good win for all those who take the risk betting for them.

Another day for every bettor, another result and another research to sort for more.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 14, 2023, 09:48:53 AM
Warriors won!
Steph and Klay were hot in the 1st half making a 25-point lead. But the Suns never gave up and pursued a close battle, they did and even got close to a 3-point lead. But the early foul trouble and bonus for the Warriors at 6 minutes left in the 4th are what made the difference, then there's Jordan Poole who suddenly got hot.
Did they shake hands after the game? I didn't see it. Seems like even Damion Lee is creating some trouble against Jamychal Green in garbage time.

Great to hear that the Warriors are back! They seem to be on a roll lately, with two consecutive wins against tough opponents in the NBA, the Bucks and the Suns. It's always fun to watch Thompson shoot his normal, and he seems to be more comfortable now in the 3 point line. He has been consistent lately with his shooting, which is great news for the Warriors.

As for the Suns, it's possible that they may need Durant in order to win against the Warriors. If Durant is ruled out for the rest of the season, it could potentially affect the Suns' chances of winning. It'll be interesting to see how things play out in the coming games, I hope the Warriors winning streak will continue especially on the road where they are weak.

Great win for the Warriors, from the beginning of the game they show their supremacy and yes, Klay is really putting numbers
he's a big contributor and a silent killer in each game.

In terms of KD, Suns do need him. The number that he can provide is something that will increase the chance of them in winning games.

Moving forward, still have games before the playoffs.
1035  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 14, 2023, 09:31:57 AM
But even though there are some people who are willing to do KYC by video calling or sending photos of their residence, it would be better if they didn't need KYC like that.
Because for some people who do not agree with the KYC request they feel disturbed or find it troublesome.
If they are comfortable in compromising their privacy to that extent they are good to go but Rollbit don't have any such requirements asking you to upload a selfie on the road I assume so players on this platform need not to worry about it.Moreover for big whales you have to undergo more documents and on small scale you can gamble without any hastle.
I can't imagine taking your selfie on the road, that can't justify your identity so probably not a thing with Rollbit.
Whales have a separate KYC process for sure, and they have to cooperate if they really want to gamble with Rollbit. Anyway, there's an issue that Rollbit asked for a video call and I think it's already solve. See, once you cooperate with the site after being tagged as suspicious, you can assure that the site will investigate it fairly, just don't panic and cooperate.
There are issues sometimes but if you are right on your part and casino you are gambling upon is totally legit you don't need to worry a lot as your case will be resolved at best.I am small gambler and comfortable with low level KYC and withdraw small amounts but Rollbit don't press it too much on you over these matters.

Yes, if you cooperate with whatever issue, you got the chance that it will resolve sooner, I understand that most whales do some
good research before sending their money into any casino they will be playing.

Knowing how they will take some edge and how they will enjoy the games that they will be playing.

Rollbit take good care of their business and they will solve if there's something that affecting their business.
1036  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: March 13, 2023, 09:28:40 AM
Do you think social media is now becoming more a place for business than socializing, Could it be as a result of digitalization and things moving online or more people now starting business online because of need to somehow generate income or another source of income for self to survive the economic situations which is becoming tougher?

In this era of digitalization, it is increasingly making human life easier, depending on how you use it, in my opinion, if someone uses digitalization to advance their business, it is a smart idea, in my opinion, because without having to pay taxes or rent a store where they do business. we really need to appreciate this.
I've noticed that lately there are lots of smart people who use social media to run their business to grow great

Yeah, a smart move to digitalize your business, things that for many advance users of social media, they manage to take advantage of this
open opportunities to reach more people and produce more sales.

With the way the technology helps businesses, social media is one of the best place to deal and promote your own business, spending time
to earn and not just to check updates.

A good way to spend time and unlike before that, you are wasting a lot of your time to communicate and play.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: March 13, 2023, 09:10:09 AM
It is true that plant is the underdog even though he only lose once to Canelo. Benavidez has high K.O. rate which is 88% while Caleb Plant has only 56% K.O rate. Benevidez also have 0 loss and current have 3 belts. For me it is the reason why he has upper hand in this match. The pressure will be on Caleb plant, both of them are strong fighters and I know that they will fight with their best effort and strength.

The winner of this fight will have a shot at fighting Canelo Alvarez. Of course, Caleb won't be able to win here because a fight between Canelo and Benavidez would generate more hype. For Benavidez, being an aging fighter, it would be good for him to get a big fight before his retirement.

So, for bettors who think that Caleb Plant will win, it might be wise to take the moneyline bet, as it provides decent odds.

Yup, for those who still believing that Plant can win this one better to take the ML, in boxing we all know that upset can take place and no one
can conclude the possible outcome while the fight is not happening yet.

We can all speculate and provide our own opinions about the fight, most of the time we are basing our conviction with previous fight that we've seen.

But the actual fight or faceoff will decide whether our analysis is right or wrong.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 13, 2023, 12:50:59 AM
Well, this is going to be the biggest fight of the year as the PPV sales are sold in just five minutes, it's worth the hype and many years of wait I don't have the figure yet I saw this drop in my social media feed, what I'm sure of is it will surpasses all the other PPV before the fight happens, we will see many more videos of thrash talks because I doubt this two will stop, because the hatred and the dislike are real.

That was really expected considering these two are currently at their prime time and currently at their very best without injury the fight is also hard to predict because they are both capable of surprising their opponent with their fast and huge power punches. I wonder where else they could get money aside from PPV in this fight? is this the fullest money they can make when they sold it out?

Big fight with that long-awaited trash talks from Garcia, now is the best time to make things happen, for Davis it might interest him
to show to the world that those talking is just a hallucination,

It will be tough for Garcia to put it in action but who knows just like what you said both fighters can throw solid punches that if in case landed to one
another it can result to a KO.

Let see who's the fighter that will win between these two great and still in prime fighter.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 13, 2023, 12:23:38 AM
Fulton will be the luckiest guy on this planet if he can upset Inoue I doubt if it will be by knockout.

A big recognition indeed for Stephen Fulton if he managed to beat Naoya Inoue.

But I won't call it an upset but rather just a win on usual.

Fulton might be the underdog but I'm sure he will give Inoue a tough fight in his career.

And besides, he's the current champ and the recognition will remain the same aside from the fact that it is Inoue, and we all know
who's the guy was and what's the capability that he can do.

But in the side of Fulton, he deserves everything once he successfully defends his belt from the Monster challenger, it will be an interesting and exiting match for sure.

Placing some spare for whoever you think will win will add some real fun while watching the fight.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 13, 2023, 12:14:34 AM
I'm looking at the Spurs vs OKC and I'm thinking that the Spurs might pull another upset win again?

So in any case, a ML line for them @2.36 and also 3.5 @1.96.

Knicks vs Lakers - Knicks is on a slump recently, so Lakers -2.5 @1.90.

Half time for OKC and Spurs, close match and maybe yes upset may happen again here, too early to conclude but the chance is good for your pick.

With Lakers and NYK, I can agree that Lakers may continue their winning streak and that handicap can be covered,

Still have lots of time to place your bet if you are a Laker fan here.
