I am one of those folks that have been hyped after all of the rumors of Lillard's trade going from this and there but then, after seeing the recent games that he has together with Giannis. It seems that hope becomes a disappointment to me and I guess that it's not just me that has been disappointed on them but also the others that have felt the same thing.

Everyone was excited when the trade happened, and the team became the top favorite to win the championship. However, when we look at the Bucks now, the team before the trade seemed better. Players like Jrue Holiday could make contributions on both offense and defense, providing strong defensive capabilities to the team.
You said it right, Jrue is a two-way player and with Giannis and Middleton he can mostly focus with his defense and show some numbers when
both players are having a bad night, unlike with Dame mostly offensive.

I think chemistry between all the players inside bucks' squad needs to be balance by the coach, right blend and right sets of players to support
both Giannis and Dame each game, still early to conclude.

Quote
Well, moving on with Wemby since he's the hot take this time. Beating the Suns twice is actually impressive. That only proves that even with a buffed roster, he is just proving himself and I think many had laughed at his statement before that he's going to beat the strongest players and will claim that title of being the strongest and best in the league.

Well, still early to say but at least he's proving what he has said before and he's really got something to boast with. Gregg really have to cultivate this guy into a man and he'd definitely define himself as an alien that's hard to beat.

He's turning into an alien, LOL! Wemby seems destined to become one of the greatest. If he can maintain this level of performance in every game, there's a chance he could achieve what Wilt Chamberlain did in basketball history—winning both ROY and Season MVP in the same year.

Now, it's official that Wemby is a star. Scoring 38 points as a rookie with such an efficient shooting performance (15-26) is not an easy feat to accomplish.

If he can continue playing like that and if good health will allow him to show more, I'm also one of those who believes that he
have a brighter future in this sport.

The timing was great as LeBron and Steph era are almost past of their primes and here's come Wemby a giant alien with a good skills
who can both shoot and attack the basket.

Binance Futures Will Launch USDⓈ-M SLP Perpetual Contract With Up to 50x Leverage

263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 03, 2023, 01:59:14 PM
If they continue to argue over even minor matters like this, it would become clear that they're just complicating things to make excuses, much like Inoue's previous opponent, Fulton.

I recall this situation. Fulton's camp had many requests before the fight, and Inoue's team managed to fulfill them. However, the result was as expected. Fulton didn't come to fight; he came to survive and attempt to earn points, thinking the judges would favor him since he was the defending champion. But Inoue's relentless attacks finally caught up with Fulton, leading to a knockout and the end of his undefeated record.

Not sure if they've got that same situation as both Tapales and Inoue are champion in the same division unlike with the situation against
Fulton where the former champ really has that right to demand against the challenger.

Though if ever that Inoue's camp will allow this request and prove to the world that he can still dominate it will add up more hypes to his career.

Let see if what will happen if Inoue's camp follows or grant Tapales request.

I've been thinking about future trading, may nagtratrade ba dito at possible ba kumita ng $10 per day sa futures?

Any suggestions about this or mas ok paren and spot trading? Anyway I do have my knowledge naman about trading, pero hinde ko pa namamaximize yung futures trading, planning and hoping magawa ko ito before the year end.

The major problem many gamblers face is not knowing when to stop. Both in loosing and winning, there should be a time to stop that should never be missed. For instance, it is always advisable to stop in midst of series of losses and anyone unable to stop this time will not even stop even if he manages to win big just like the case OP narrated. They only stop when they loss all their money to the casino.  This is not a good way to approach gambling. Furthermore,  in the case of a major win, it is wise to stop and take a break else the money will go back to the casino.
When you're losing, you only stop when you don't have money left. And when you're winning, it's the same, you only stop when there's no more in your hand.

The problem that many does is they don't take profits and it's even a decision to be asked to other people where you can ask that to yourself and do the necessary things on your own.

There's no need for other's suggestion on this one because you handle your own and do the necessary decisions like stopping when you have enough.

Indeed, it's you who can control everything with the right mindset. You should have that limitation to stop whenever you needed,
Both losing or winning, you need to set your target.

without that right control, there's always a big chance that you will lose your money each time you participate and play your favorite gambling game.

Set aside your greed and be patience not aggressive to avoid making big mistake and have that excessive gambling activities.
Being patient is what everyone needs to practice.

Because whenever you're winning, you lose that and whenever you're losing, you also forget that. It's all in our hands when we gamble that we tend to forget the important things.

Like when someone is asking if he should pass and take the profit when he's winning even if it's easy to make decisions and obviously need to take his money when he's done and made profit already.

If the person is wise and already have a lot of experience, I can say that it won't be a hard decision to make, knowing that there's no guarantee
that his luck will continue to show up and back him in each roll that he made.

Though the common inside gambling is you'll see a gambler who will keep pushing and keep trying to win more instead of enjoying what he already got.

Ending his session with a loss including his bankroll and the disappointment of the outcome of his game.

268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling affect your relationship? on: November 01, 2023, 12:00:56 PM
the one I witnessed was a man his wife told to stop gambling due to the fact that they hardly feed well and the little they have the husband will use it for gambling , so when she tried so hard to stop the husband and he refused so she had no option but to leave the man.

That's so bad. Why don't people select partners who love what they are doing? I see that some partners have issues because of the love their husbands have for football. If I want to get married today, I want to make sure that my wife is someone who likes what I like, and vice versa. Some gamblers are the reason why their relationships also get ruined, just like the example you gave. Someone who has family to take care of is still wasting the little money they get on gambling, and they don't even make any wins. They are the kind of gamblers that even stake on big odds because of their greed to make a huge win. I know I gamble, but I don't spend a lot on gambling; there are more important things to take care of. Even if I gamble, I will only sacrifice a small amount for the fun at that moment.
Maybe the reason is that before they get married, they didn't discuss each other's hobbies and vices? because for me, if I know that my partner is having an obsession in gambling which may affects in our future marriage life, I'll think twice before I agree on getting married not because I don't love him but I want to know first if he can sacrifice to leave the gambling for the sake of our future or not. I don't want to suffer to the things that I didn't do in the end. If you're partner doesn't want to change for a better then think and decide what should you do.

But isnt marriage or relationship is about finding compromises for each other, finding unite solution and making sacrifices. We are all imperfect. Ok, you will think twice before marring a guy who has gambling obsession. But he might also think twice before giving you a ring if there is something that does not suit him in your relationship. If your future husband must sacrifice gambling, what will you give up to make things equally? It is hard for an adult to change habits, and making changes "just because" isnt correct, as I believe everything must be balanced.

There's always sacrifices when dealing with things like this. Honestly speaking, it's tough to embrace someone with knowing that
there's a possible gambling related issues.

To be fair with your future wife, are you also willing to embrace a girl with a possible gambling problem? But, I like the way you provide your opinion.

It's a balance that both individual needs to weight before taking the responsibility. There's always a way if both parties will discuss and
talk about the possible way to balance their relationships.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 01, 2023, 11:39:52 AM
I've witnessed Inoue's impressive performances in the ring, and he appears to be virtually unstoppable, showcasing his dominance. However, when it comes to Tapales, there's still a significant question mark in my mind.

Speaking of Inoue's performance, yeah he is amazing but somehow there's a doubt on some people on the boxing community especially his opponents that he has taking something like PEDs. This may be the reason why the camp of Tapales is requesting that there should be a surprise VADA testing to see if Inoue is really a clean fighter but i doubt that request would be approved since the fight will be held in Tokyo, Japan.

That is a grave accusations though, but I wouldn't be surprise though, I mean during Manny's height, he was also accused of using PEDs but there's nothing concrete or finding in his urine and blood sample and he all goes to this voluntary testing.

I also read that Fulton camp alleges that Inoue and his camp did illegal wraps or at least they have concerned about how they are wrapping the hands of Inoue. But the fight is done and we see how he destroys Fulton.
They have this doubt in mind because Inoue is different to other boxers. I mean, he's impressive and a real monster when in the ring. His performance lead some people to think he might be taking PEDs or something that can help him destroy his opponent. Well, these are just accusations and not proven.

Anyway, is December 26 the official date of this fight?

Just the same, when Pacquiao is dominating the ring, I used to remember that Mayweather also thinks that way and he doesn't want to fight the prime
Pacquiao accusing him that there's something that the man is taking the reason why he really dominating.

But all are just accusation and not being proven till Mayweather beat Pacquiao in a match where many can say that it was a robbed with an unfair
judgements.

moving back to Tapales request, not sure if he and his camp can get that surprise test as the fight will take place inside Inoue's' homeland.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: November 01, 2023, 11:09:19 AM

We don't have to deceive ourse when gambling, everything we do have same risk as long as they are activities we participates under in gambling, we may choose to play safe after realizing the risk involved in the kind of betting we are going for, the level of the risk taken is from our own part to choose how far we want to take it, but not that some games are more favourable in luck than the other.

Though the weight of your statement is valid, as the amount of risk is always the same in terms of any gambling activities that we will be participating
the only thing that may add the edge is the knowledge that you have about the game you choose to play.

With that idea, controlling your emotion and managing the amount of money that you are willing to stake can be controlled, and then again, the chance of
winning still depends on the amount of luck you have and the timing that you use quitting your way with a decent amount of profits.

Happy Halloween to the Phoenix Suns! 🎃 The Spurs pulled off an epic 20 points comeback against the Phoenix Suns, what an epic comeback. No call on Durant position it clearly a foul. But seriously, what's up with Wemby? This 7'4 giant can't even grab 10 rebounds per game and it's driving me crazy. My player props parlay is always going down the drain because of him! 😂😂

should have cashout when the Suns are not making it. this occurence is getting frequent, the last time it also happened with GSW they almost made it in the 3rd quarter giving fan some hope and then miserably failed in the last quarter.

i walkout the house to smoke and buy something, when i came back i lost. this time, among the 3 bets only clippers won.

And what a big lost for them, I mean everyone is playing good, even Gordon, who we haven't seen for a while to be this aggressive shooting from the outside and getting inside. And then Grayson Allen trying to be Steph with hist long 3 point shoot as well. Everything was falling for them, even Durant has a good shooting night. But as the saying goes, the game is 48 minutes. You can't play just 47 minutes and then collapse on the last minute or so.

This what happen to them and it seems that Durant freezes in the last second. And that steal of Keldon Johnson from Durant, could be one of the plays for the year this early. And the Spurs outscored the Suns in the 4th, 33-19. So it's a miracle in Halloween night.  Grin

The determination coming from the young minds of Spurs squad made them to complete the snatch against the Suns, not sure why Suns
didn't call a timeout when Wemby made that followup dunk.

Maybe they don't have a timeout left or maybe since they are still in the lead and they've got the possession, they think that they can just
run the ball and wait for the Spurs to foul them for a possible FT.

That steal by Johnson in the very hands of KD and in front of the refs and the whole Suns crowd, it's something that will be remembered for the
rest of the season for sure.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: November 01, 2023, 10:20:27 AM

Very well said and I completely agree,  and I also remember making an example that is somewhat related to this which you have said.

In one of my previous comments on this thread I believe, I talked about someone being sick and clearly needing to receive medication,  people around can see that this person is sick and needs medical attention, but the person in question refused and insisted that he or she is not sick, treatment is not something that can be forced on a person except when that person is completely down and can no longer help him or her self up.

Same also goes with all forms of addiction, not just gambling addiction, just as you have said, a sick person have to first agree that he or she is sick and needs medical help, then he can either call the doctor to come check on him or her, or he or she can visit the hospital for check up and possible treatment, same goes with addiction, an addict who has refused to accept that he or she is addicted and need help, will likely remain an addict until he or she first agree, then seek help to come out of it.

Acceptance and willingness are the major key factors in recovering from gambling. It's essential for successful medication that the patient is well-aware about his condition and is willing to be treated and be helped by the professionals. After all, you must first help yourself. Gambling addiction is like a sickness that is serious and has to be healed, otherwise it will consume you and bury you. Anyone that doesn't want to be helped will not recover from their sickness. One must be determined to combat addiction by undergoing rehabilitation and medication together with the professional guidance and counsel. This way, there will be lesser chances of undergoing relapse.
The greatest medicine for a gambler is their own pursuit. If a gambler can't control himself, I don't know if any other medicine will work for him. Because in this era, if the gambler does not share his gambling activities with others, then there is no chance for others to know. Besides, no one else is needed to take such initiative. In this context, I can say that the gambler's own efforts act as the major medicine for the gambler's addiction and recovery. If the gambler has the intention , he can certainly control himself.

I agree with you. If there's no willingness, then there's nothing that can be done. It's a need that the person itself to work with his
addiction and the rest will be a follow-up in helping him to solve his problem.

Being responsible means that you are in control, though even sometimes you can exceed, but you won't allow anything to go that far.

Only you who can work with everything, and only your willingness to move forward, will help you in terms of quitting
or stopping whatever the problem that may arise.

Philadelphia 76ers traded James Harden to the Clippers.
The league is going to mess up badly with this team. Jarden, Westbrook, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are a very good squad, I hope they can be champions.
You forgot to mention John Wall. I don't really see the Clippers winning a championship, even though they have James Harden now, because they lack solid defense and a reliable center. Maybe they can also sign Dwight Howard since he is available right now (If possible why not). Let's see what happens this season as James Harden and Westbrook were teammates before on the Rockets and OKC. Hopefully, there will be a different outcome. A championship? 😮‍💨

The Clippers will still win nothing this season.
Every single player is past their prime, even PG13 and KL in my opinion. All these injuries and so on took a toll on them.

On paper they have good names but I don't see them as a good team still.

I agree. They’re all a bit older but mostly PG13 and Kawhi are injury prone while Harden is well passed his prime. This doesn’t even take into account they just traded half their team for Harden. I don’t think this works out for anyone except the players, who won’t win but will probably have a fun time hanging out and traveling together.

Maybe they can use that brotherhood to take pride and try to find the best way to win a game, but yeah, in terms of papers they are good in
numbers, with all 4 stars, are all offensive arsenals.

It will be on the side of the coaching staff to blend them together and put something to establish the kind of chemistry that will allow everyone to
play their role and,

who knows, maybe they can make the team as competitive as how the fans will expect them after acquiring Harden and Tucker.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: October 31, 2023, 11:00:59 AM
~snip~
As I said today gamblers keep records for a variety of reasons, so expect it to provoke everyone to unreasonable actions such as trying to win back past losses is not quite right. Many gamblers play gambling for fun and records are kept only for personal statistics. All of us are completely different and each of us has completely different views on this or that action.

Yeah, it can definitely remove the fun part if you are constantly logging every single interaction you had with the casino.

Being a bit reckless also is more fun than acting like an accountant  Grin

At the end of the day you should have a rough idea of how much you are losing in casinos. If it is too much, you should have a look at it. That's all.

Exactly, if you are keeping your records, chances that you may chase those losses will put you in the negative spot, as once you chase those amount
you will be forced to add more with your bankroll and if luck will not be with you, those money will be an addition to your losses.

You need to re-assess your goal as if you are in this venue and you are aiming to have some fun. You can treat the amount of money as payment
for that entertainment and you can quit without any regrets.

But if you are aiming for money, that's another different side of gambling. It's more about your knowledge and skills.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Practices for Staying Safe When Gambling on: October 31, 2023, 10:46:35 AM
You just have to check out platforms like this, you can start with a small amount or you can do like me, participate in tournaments where you can easily get some money. I did that last tournament and won 200$, it's not a lot of money, but I got it very easily. So if you don't know what to do in the cryptocurrency market, try to participate in a Fairspin tournament, play their games or bet on TFS it's a great chance to win some extra money.

Does participating in tournaments actually have more chances of winning than loosing, isn't e everything under the same risk of gambling for loosing or winning, there have been lots of suggestion already discussed on this platform about various ways we can gamble responsibly and have the best way forward with our gambling experience, this is not mostly associated with the kind of games we play like the things we do.

Good point, they've got the same level of risk and for sure it's gambling and knowing how things work inside this venue, all are depending on
how luck and your skills will let you win.

There's no assurance and there's always chances that you may fall into addiction if you don't have that good control in making your decisions.

Though, if you have that good skills in limiting yourself and placing your emotion out while playing, you may have that chance
of doing yourself a favor and letting yourself away from any possible of risking more money.
277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: October 31, 2023, 10:14:55 AM
How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

Because the only place this makes a bit sense is the skills base niche like forex trading or crypto trading, how can gambling/gambler be financed?

Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?

Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?

Is anyone doing this on here?

Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?

I have never experienced this, they often lend me money, and of course I lend because I trust them. But in this situation, I don't think I can give it to my friend because it's still money and I know that I often lose here. It would be good if it was business, but it's gambling, so I think it's a pass.
It's hard to rely on luck, especially when it comes to this kind of talk.

Better not, as there's always a big risk when playing, there's no assurance that anyone can continually win while playing and most of the
time, the outcome is on the other side.

Instead of giving them that luxury and lend them money better to give them decent advice and if they are really a friend, chances that they might listen.

If not, the good practice is not to allow them to get anything from you and never to give them any opportunity to think that gambling
is a good way of making money, because we all know it's not.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: October 30, 2023, 04:32:48 PM
The main problem of gamblers is that they cannot control themselves even after winning. I think it's better to rest for a while after winning rather than being greedy and betting again. It is very difficult to guarantee good casinos to cash out your money. The next time you bet, it is a good idea to bet with money so that the gambler will suffer less losses. Due to this greed, many people lose control of their lives by gambling and their entire lives are filled with problems due to this behavior. Leaving all the important activities of life, they only look for gambling opportunities and immerse themselves in gambling.

This is what happened when you are gambling without any goal or target before you play. Gambling is like a good show that never ends since you always want to have some more because you are enjoying. It’s very hard to take a rest if your mind doesn’t have any goal that will trigger to you to stop while you are still enjoying winning.

This is why most gambler easily lose all their bankroll even after they are in huge profit because they will keep chasing that profit that suddenly turn to lose since you will only feel the need to stop on gambling when you already and not in profit.
A professional gambler knows all the tricks of gambling so they don't get greedy after winning and take some time off. It is good to keep the goal but if a gambler becomes addicted then it becomes very difficult to stop gambling not just the bankroll but his family life becomes a problem. A gambling person cannot raise his family well a gambler's temperament is always marked by harshness and cruelty a profitable person is intoxicated with more profit. If a person is addicted to gambling with fixed goals then first of all he needs to understand his problem and encourage him to get away from this addiction.

Very important is to have that limitation and always remember your stop target, if you already got something, if possible, better to stop and
cash out the money, it's always good to have some wins compared with losing everything.

A win is always a win, nothing change that principle, though most of the time, greed comes out and changes the mindset of a person.

Even pro can be drive to this kind of determination to win more, sometimes even they put some limits they break that and
exceed from what they supposed to have the stop and lose everything.

How about the PPV? I believe there's a PPV of this fight, and those who aren't able to watch in the venue, they could watch through PPV sponsored by ESPN I think.

There's no PPV on this fight as it can only watch on ESPN+, but there's a subscrition which is.... "You can get an ESPN+ subscription for $10.99 per month,"... So you just have to subscribe ahead of the fight so you'll not miss this upcoming big fight.

Not bad if that's per monthly basis, though if you are not willing to pay that much, I guess streaming will be there. Just navigate and look
for free streams, but expect ads that will keep bothering you from time to time.

For sure, there are streamers who will share it just going to ask for small donation or for viewers to create hypes with their streaming links.

Let's see how both champs will try to protect/defend their titles and how they will impress their fans during the fight night.
