It's already time for Melo to leave this team and it's already stopped. I don't have a problem with Melo either, he was a very high level player in his old days, now he can't contribute even if he wanted to, I think he should leave the team. I think Melo's career is over, he averages 13 PPG with the Lakers but he does not give a big impact on the team to win. Maybe if the Suns will acquire him, that will give him a bigger chance to win a championship than his contribution to the team. I have no hate for Melo, but his time being a contributor to the team is already over.
If there's someone I think they should sign, it should be DeMarcus Cousins, he'll surely be a good backup Center for Ayton.

Thurman doesn't have any capability to take down Spence at all costs. Aside from being an inactive boxer, he seems not that serious now about getting a title at least. Since he lost to Pacquaio, Thurman became a soft Thurman unlike when he was one of the dominant boxers in the Welterweight. His return to ring against Barios after a long hiatus is not even showed his usual power. I like Thurman to win here but realistically speaking, he can't outclass Spence. Even most boxing analyst thinks that this fight is going to be a landslide win for Spence. maybe that was like a tune-up fight for Thurman. but don't know if his fight with Spence will still push thru. thurman is about 34 yrs old so he has still few years that he can be active. but his next fight should not be years in the making. his promoter should find bigger fights in prep for possible spence match. his latest performance still needs improvement to get back to where he was in terms of power. Durant will be more willing to help this team to reach the NBA Finals. When he was still with the Nets, he only got Irving, now he has all he needs to create a good team. That is a daring, but it's business, I doubt that Al Haymon or even his own boxing manager will allow that to happen.
They will just have to meet in the middle ground so that both parties can make money in this big fight.

Well, whatever the controversies are and the speculation of the people, I just want to see a good fight between Thurman and Spence.
This is really a nice opportunity for Thurman to prove himself without a doubt when he gonna win against Spence. After all, it will gonna be who has the best strategy anyway. You can say Spence got all the skills and physicality to have the advantage in this fight but both of them can punch well. Also, Thurman has the ability that hooked Manny Pacquiao when it comes to his power punches. What a weird article posted on Ring's website. I think the point is about Fulton not getting the attention and big respect in the US even if he owns 2 belts while Inoue is glorified not just in Japan but in the whole world. Inoue is ranked 2nd best pound for pound in the world and beating him would make Fulton very popular and probably get ranked in the top 10 p4p by The Ring. I hope everything is finalized soon since this is a great fight. Fulton might think that Inoue's punches are just the same or even lesser than those of Brandon Figueroa whom he survived and won a very close fight. I think the smaller weight classes doesn't deserved the spotlight in boxing. Guys like Fulton or to some extend Gary Russell before (although he just fight quite few often), but they did the job done and win. Yes, this is 122 lbs and Fulton could be very much comfortable in this division as he own one of the belts. And if he wants respect then he need to travel to Japan and beat the rank 2 pound for pound. Yes, because if we based on the reality, only few boxers with smaller weights are popular, the only one I know is Inoue and he will become more popular because he is moving up on his weight class. I'm know sure how all this will work out for the Brooklyn Nets, it looks like a tough situation to be in, but I'm really glad the let go of both KD and Kyrie together there's no point letting one go and keeping the other, and the Brooklyn Nets will be better off in a couple of years with this decision even if not immediately, because now they're having a younger squad with less ego. Something that learnable in the long run if you are really keen to find better success with your gambling activities, not sure about how different gamblers take the risk, but it's all on the side of handling their finances. If luck permits, you will be able to take back what you lose, but if not, expect that you will multiply or worse, you will lose more with your chase. |
