We were invited to a local tournament in Bulgaria. The pitch is 10 meters too short, the only stand fell apart and there's 1 toilet for both teams.
Most of the locals haven't even heard of VAR. There's 1 camera on the stadium because the locals steal iron support for the stands, but that camera was recently disabled.
There is 1 semi-blind linesman, he's making all the calls here. I kinda bribed him, but he'll never tell.
LOL You practically described a game in my local state team from years ago, the pitch was actually not too short, but too thin (so the sides were too small, sometimes you could feel it was very weird, you could try score from corners and throwins lol. When I had my personal issue last year, I thought I would quit the forum but I still come back here to put my Pools and BSFL predictions, and most of the week remaining I think about it a lot, makes me come to check the results all the time,,, feels nice to be part of something even in a small way.

They still have advantage but Girona can catch up if they win against Athletic Bilbao tomorrow. I still think Real is going to win the title, but they cant allow losing any more points. Everything going upside down for big teams, I come so close to 10th position and now sliding back down. Girona has all the pressure, I think Real can still afford several losses even, because their rival is finding it super hard to maintain scoring form. |

Exactly, last year it was almost a Formula Verstappen. But there's more to bet on: pole positions, the podium, places up to 10th, fastest lap.... So there are quite a few possibilities, just predicting Verstappen as the winner is not enough.
But I think almost everyone is hoping that this season will be a bit more varied, I put too much faith in Ferrari last year and was therefore a bit beaten, but let's see if I do better this season 😉.
I think we shouldn't expect things to be different this season. I'm really considering a comeback for Ferrari but only next season, I think they also know this and will use this one to improve their engines to prepare to compete for that. As you say, the secret points here are in pole and podium. Everyone will be backing Verstappen so it's silly to go against that, he's the Haaland of F1 for now. |

Cmon Celta, not again!  They repeat same mistakes and lose matches in a stupid way usually in the last moments of the match. I had a draw prediction in Supebru and I placed additional asian handicap on them not to lose against Barcelona, but they did. Barcelona did win but it is only a question when they will ditch Xavi and get a better coach. Aspas scores, the familiar storyline of Celta. Lewandowski scores twice, including winning goal, that's not a familiar story for us lol I didn't bet on this game, I didn't trust us, but man if Lewandowski suddenly switches his form back on and starts winning ugly again, I'll take it, until we find out how to provide cover for our young stars. Me I got stuck in 10th place with KTChampions, so I need a strong week, staring tonight with Torino.
Torino started as expected, 2:0 win, and a lot of exact scores in the pool nice way to start weekend interesting weekend ahead, there is no especially close matches, but Cagliari is playing utterly important match against Udinese, after consecutive loses and slipping back to relegation zone, Udinese is a chance to get back up and Cagliari had good results with Udinese this season already I noticed on the next match Torino is the favorite also, even though it's against Lazio. Yes it's at home but I don't ever recall Lazio being favored to lose against Torino, not that my Serie A is good but this seems wrong. I guess it's going to be a matter of of form in this case. Juventus now dropping points 2 games in a row, could be a good time to start betting on handicaps vs them? |

I didn't trust Ajax to win but they burned me anyway with only 6 corners (I needed over 9.5 to save my insurance because dumb Betis couldn't win. Ajax did get all of those corners however so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on them. But they're AJAX!!

Damn Atleti, hope you manage to play like this for Champions League and not just lose badly to a shit team again. It's so dumb that you can see this new team scor 4 goals so easily and walk in the park, but against Sevilla 10% they can't even force one save.
Of course, I'm also prepared for Celta win later. Too many spoiled chances and false happiness for me to expect a Barca win.
