4221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That moment when you buy 1BTC at $2500 on: June 17, 2017, 06:17:21 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin is worth buying right now, since you might buy today with a higher price and the price falls the next day. The best thing to do right now is to earn it or chill until the price drops

i think if we have money, its still worth to buy bitcoin especially if the price is getting down like now because we can buy bitcoin with cheap price. but if we don't have money, then we need to used the other source to earn bitcoin so we can sell it if the price is getting up soon. but if we want to buy part by part until it reach 1 bitcoin, then i think we need to waited for a moment and we need to make sure that the price is reach the bottom so we can buy cheap bitcoin although the price is still in more than $1xxx.
Yep your damn right that a Bitcoin price is going to its highest price soon it will reach more than $2,500 that time to do something for your future before it will be out of range to buy it. but still it is a source of income for a lot of people.if you buy Bitcoin for profits then buy it at cost of lower than $2,500 as no one know that it will become $3,000 tomorrow so invest in it as much as possible for you.
4222  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Does Bitcoin Gain/Lose Value? on: June 17, 2017, 02:36:50 AM
Hey all

This has been a question bugging my head for a while now, and with the $3k mark that we recently hit and the drop to $2.5k.

How does BTC gain or lose value? And how does BTC 'pop', like lose 500 USD worth over a day?

Price moves up when more people want to buy than want to sell (meaning sellers can afford to charge higher prices) and price moves down when sellers outnumber buyers (so buyers can afford to make lower offers).
Thinking about making a difference is really a good. Everything loss and gain values even human being do so. as in Bitcoin the price is always keep moving up and down it is because of people when they withdraw their amount at the same time.

But some people withdraw a large amount it then effect it but now a days the buyers quantity is increasing then sellers for the Bitcoin is going upward.
4223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favourite dice site for profit on: June 16, 2017, 06:40:00 PM
Most profitable I am not sure but the best and the most enjoyable is bitsler because the team is quite active and there are lots of giveaways always on line. The chatbox is very lively and people are often doing some giveaways among them. I am not sure but maybe the most profitable is bitsler too but just unsure.
4224  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 16, 2017, 10:21:40 AM
Bitcoin were into the up and down when there were the same players around, since Japan exchanges joined the market bitcoin price has jumped, i really doubt we will see bitcoin lower then 2000 dollars, such dump would cause panic over the most people, but bitcoin its a healthy coin, and wouldnt be the first time it does loose a big value, but loose 1500 dollars it would a deep attack at bitcoin.
i think now the investors have become so much mature and they are not going for panic selling, we have so many examples in previous days when bitcoin price fell down from 2970$ to 2500$. but now it is again trading above 2700$ which is really a good support to bitcoin.
Yes at first when the investors used to panic selling the status of the Bitcoin at time was a different one and now it is not the same status.

It is now a legalized currency by the Japanese government which have made the bitcoin more strengthen. People are now aware that the Bitcoin is got something in it that the world is accepting it so in such a situation people will wait for the price to up.

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
Thank you captain obvious. Glad to see that you have finally realised.
This is due to analyzing, the usage and the perspective of both the sides. It is basically the generation change gap that you will notice in the users and the investors of these both groups. Both the side people have their own reasons to say and to be very honest both are right on their end.
4228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: May 14, 2017, 03:31:27 PM
What about Ripple, id like your opinion on it as im getting smashed in the Ripple thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1381669.1140 for saying that banks just arent buying XRP for anything other than what they have to (transaction fees). There are many articles about banks using the Ripple protocol but nothing about banks buying mass amount of the coin. The price has risen, its still under 20c but nothing that cant be attributed to normal Alt rise with bitcoin, fee free traading on some sites etc.

Yes i know each Alt thread has people hyping the coins but man these guys are really getting whoever read the thread to buy. They believe it will easily knock Bitcoin off the top spot and the price is going to 'the moon'

Thoughts on it replacing Bitcoin?
Ripple is not that very competitive against bitcoin because Ripple is just getting hyped now and the price pumps is just cause by the news and also the hype and manipulation of the whales. If you do math then you can see that their price is very over rated based on their supply and i think this coin will need a lot of time and also cut to their supply so they will get a chance against bitcoin.

Not competitive???  WTF!
Bitcoin fees are getting insane!  XRP is way more competitive in this aspect!
Bitcoin transaction times due to higher and higher fees are also creating problems.  XRP is way faster and almost instantaneous, again more competitive in this aspect!
Transaction capacity on Bitcoin is now very limited and there seems to be no end to the arguing what is better.  XRP is way better and more competitive again!
Governace for Bitcoin is a total mess, miners pulling their way, Core stubborn, slow and rude as fuck, Unlimited attacking Core, etc, etc.  XRP smooth sailing as a corporation with great leaders and programers.. Again.... more competitive.

Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue
My dear look at XRP it is far away from any of the competition with the BTC. It may be faster at the moment with the main reason of small number of its users as compare to the BTC. The BTC is on the other hand more crowded. Yes the BTC needs to update and improve its system of transaction to be faster as to facilitate and oblige its users. It is good for the BTC health to have the competitors so to be more strengthened.
4229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ardor on: May 14, 2017, 03:15:33 PM
I bought some coin yesterday, and would hold long time.
I also have planned to invest Ardor after few of my friends suggest to watch and make decisions. When we are having good experience with NXT, I guess anyone will take a decision of giving a try with it as similar concepts will be having more possibilities to hit the success. Hopefully in coming days, I may be proved right for my decisions.
4230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: May 14, 2017, 01:10:14 PM
Right now eth seems to be a promising altcoin. It's good to profit through the ICO programs, in the recent ICO project TaaS seems to grow to some extent as it has gained more than $7m as investment through the ICO presale which itself a big success.
We are not sure that taas will be able to gain their demand from the community in the future but for etherium the demand of traders are increasing and they are investing in it for some more time to get the long term profit. So that is worth to buy that coin.
Yes that is right that the demand of Etherium is increasing from time to time. and that s the reason that its price is also increase. As still most of the people are interested to invest money in bitcoin as the price of bitcoin is continuously increasing, but still etherium is also stand still on its position therefore I am sure that it will perform well in future.
4231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: May 14, 2017, 06:50:55 AM
2017 about in bitcoin is truly a major change to every one of us
since, I think before end of this current year the cost of Bitcoin will progress toward becoming no less than 2000$ up which is a decent sign to bitcoin lovers
This is cool to have good expectations with the BTC. The raise of the price is so good I love it the way the prices of the bitcoin jumped for the reason of the increasing number of users. As more and more people are joining the bitcoin for the betterment of the future as they saw some of the people around them that by using the bitcoin there life changed is a positive way i.e. like earnings and stuff from the bitcoin.
4232  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: May 13, 2017, 08:05:10 PM

339 pages worth of discussion might fool some people but today is the 13th of may and on the same 339th page the first message was on 21th April. A whole 25 day gap between less than 20 messages does shouts loudly “I AM DEAD!”. I am sorry holders but I think its time to let it go.

Though lot's of scam accusations, let's see how far would this go. I am supporting this anyway.

you are in the signature campaign and your posting to earn. so obviously you will say what you did to save face!
the difference of scam accusations, and facts are huge! and this being said ...
paid puppets will do as needed for pennies!!!
Yes those people who are working here are part of their community and will surely support the project for legal issues.  We are already promoting the project and can hope that this project will reach to its peaks without any hurdle and problems.
Yes, everyone has the right as you have to discuss any matter here you seem important to discuss here. But it is important that if you are criticizing something, your criticism should be for the sake of development and betterment, criticism should not be for the sake of any other purposes like personal reasons, which can create more problems and cannot solve the problem.
4235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: May 12, 2017, 04:03:24 PM
BTC is future, its an life and precious money
Yeah , And also for me it is a way of money making thing .
In the bitcoin job , I started with 10$ and today my turn over is 10000$ and earning is about 1000$ ( which is not a small for me .
Since in the starting when I joined , the main aim fore with the bitcoin was the only money but  as soon as I started my work in this field , I came to know that there are many other things in the bitcoin that can give money easily but need to do hardwork , Then from.that day I usually made Investment of my money and bitcoin that I have in the many projects like ICO and high profitable altcoins like 808 coin which gives 2% earning daily by Minting in the poswallet.com .
So here with the experience of works with bitcoin , I found that with the hard work and without hardwork also , we can make big profit .

Well done I say to you... I started late almost at the end of 2016 and I can say I have only made almost 0.1 BTC just from collecting and reading around. It is not a big amount but like you, where I am and with my situation it is a respectable sum. I plan to just collect more. Maybe by my end of first year if I can manage 0.2 I will be very happy as that will be one month salary, like a bonus savings.
Hmm… this is what the BTC is doing positively with many of us around. I started it a few years ago but at that time I was not really serious about it. I started it as a fun and I realized at the point when I lost my job due to certain reasons and I came to the BTC in that one month it supported me a lot. I would have no money if the BTC was there.
4236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 11, 2017, 09:11:59 PM
I think it's dangerous to pay all your attention to the BTC,work hard and regard the BTCCOIN as an financial investment
Well yeah it has proven to be a great opportunity for those who were jobless and were seeking work to do. Once you start with the BTC and understand how to work in it there are then many opportunities to avail. Those who are good judges and are dedicated to the work have make a lot of money from the BTC and are living their lives in a good way.
4237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 09, 2017, 07:30:57 PM
Many people need big proof to satisfy that this site is legit ..whats the best way to convince your relatives or friends
If you have Trust with the bitcoin and it's network with official wallet blockchain.info , then you don't need to insist people to get in the bitcoin and use it for the earning .
If you will make earnings in the big amounts then people who had no faith or trust with bitcoin , will now Trust with it and will start to join bitcoin to make earning , like you .
Here the same thing happened with me , when I told to my friends to study and enter in the bitcoin , but when I started to make thousands of dollars per month , then they Became greedy and insists me to explain and teach about the bitcoin and it's ideas for the Earning .
I agree if you have belief in all this system of the BTC and the related stuff, if you have personally started taking any benefits from the BTC than it is not too harder to explain it to someone and to convince them to use it. The only thing that you need to do is to just let them know how do u earn from it.
4238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: May 03, 2017, 04:34:37 PM
Yes,there were many children or teens now are playing gamble .Additional things is if they know bitcoins they will be more free to gamble their money .Some of the bitcoin gambling sites dont even have restrictions on gamblers because they will dont identify the user if it was underaged or an adult one.

Well nit just some but most online casinos are pretty lax when it comes to who's accessing their sites and i don't think there's any way to actually know if its a minor or not. Even before the dawn of online gambling, its a proven fact already that minors are gambling. Some even forge id's and birth certificates to be allowed to enter casinos
According to a recent study the minors are observed to use the online casinos in the free time they get at the schools even and bet in groups. The ratio of the underage using the online casino is increasing and the main reason that let the minors enter is the false ID’s with the wrong date of birth mentioned in it.
4239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 03, 2017, 04:04:20 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I jlpeust plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley

If you are quitting gambling or giving it up that's a good news in your part.
I think much  better for you to change your daily habit or hobby in gambling. If you like online gaming, why not try that one,.
I think that might gonna helped you anyway.
I think for those people who also find it difficult to quit gambling, they can also change their gambling strategy and planing, and though this way they can minimize the risk of losing money and through this way they all do mimic the gambling habit and at last they will become able to quit it for ever. But I think it still need too much hard work and struggle.
4240  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of Korea's research on crypto and FIAT currency on: May 03, 2017, 02:50:27 PM
However, security or trust issues – the decentralization of digital currency and the absence of insurance provided by governmental authorities – may prevent digital currency from being used as a store of value. Instead, digital currency may be used as a medium of exchange dominantly.

Do you agree with this research result?

Not at all. The majority of people I know that use bitcoins don't spend them ever or rarely spend them. I don't have anywhere local that accepts bitcoins and I don't trust online stores that accept them, so it's almost exclusively a store of value for me.
It totally depends on the region you are living in to. In Europe & America there are lots of places where you can spend the bitcoin. Even it has started in Japan. There are the websites who accepts the Bitcoin and you can buy anything from there. I do agree that it is a store of value for many people and looking at the current situation people are storing it for the reason that its value is going to be increased.
