4341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How high will BCash go before the big fat dump? on: August 03, 2017, 04:03:01 PM
Sell it now
it won't go any higher

looks like you're spot on here. i sold all mine at $750 a few hours ago. so far seems to be the right play

That is how events really turned out. Initially, I thought it would be better to dump them as soon as they got BCH. But now, BCH is fast rising in price. Holding and waiting for the right moment really pays a lot. Patience is indeed a virtue. BCH is now worth selling because the price is high.
4342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why BCC Wil Replace BTC on: August 03, 2017, 02:40:14 PM
Bitcoin Cash has lost half of its maximum value within one day. Good luck, "replacement".

LOL.  Grin

This thread should be entitled, Why doping is really bad! LOL! Or perhaps Why BCC will not be able to reach what BTC has reached! Or perhaps Why we should need to wait what will happen next.  Grin

Anyway, the BCC you are talking about helped BTC holders a lot. They have just added some more BTC out of the free BCC.

4343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC cash an altcoin? on: August 03, 2017, 08:09:17 AM
I will go for a yes because the meaning of altcoin for me is a coin which is created after bitcoin because we all know that the bitcoin is the very first cryptocurrency in the internet and those who follows bitcoin are called altcoin.

Yes. Anything that followed the footsteps of bitcoin is an altcoin automatically. They are considered alternate cryptocurrency. Although it is a copy of bitcoin, it is still not bitcoin. The conclusion is therefore it is an altcoin, just like the rest.
4344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple & Nem on: August 03, 2017, 07:41:23 AM
it is very weird to me why  these coins  ( ripple and  NEM) are too cheap  despite the high volume of market and rank in the crypo market

I wonder if you know when the price will go to moon ?

Expect these two great coins to be climbing to some top spots. Just wait and hold. They are cheap because they are still relatively young. The moon is theirs to reach. I am counting on it. I am also holding mine.  Cool
4345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why still so many ICO projects here after Bitcoin forks? on: August 02, 2017, 04:48:18 AM
shouldn't people are cynical on ICOs?  Huh

or that we are joining the pyramid scheme?
We don't have reasons to hate on ICOs projects because basically ICOs projects are instrument of investment, all of peoples know that investment are high risk losing money except can get large of money include on ICOs projects, but doesn't mean the people must blame the ICOs projects because of losing money in ICOs because on every business the rise of failure always be there, should the people calculate about the risk and no hate the ICOs projects.

That is what I have been saying all this time. Some ICOs are scammy ones but some are not. It should not be blamed to ICOs because ICOs per se are not scam, it is a legitimate way to pool together resources from as many investors as possible. ICOs are also causing great projects to become successful.

A lot of ICOs are indeed scams. And many people are victimized by them. But these are the ones that should not have been trusted in the first place. If enough studies were made, enough background checkings were done, then perhaps people would not have joined and invested in these ICOs in the first place. It was not the ICOs that caused them to lose money. It was the project.
4346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance to get free coins other than bounties? on: August 02, 2017, 04:16:00 AM
I looking to get some free coins. I am new here. Some bounties have more requirements.

There are free airdrops bro but they are very seldom. If the requirements you are talking about are requirements related to bitcointalk accounts, then perhaps you can join social media bounty campaigns. There are less requirements and very simple tasks involved.
4347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: August 01, 2017, 09:56:47 AM
No scam for me. Although it has risen to the top by good strategic marketing and hype. That would part of it all in the game of crypto. So I don't wanna blame ETH for that. After all, their performance in the market is great. ETH so far has been holding the second position in the top. Projects are also founded on ETH blockchain.
4348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have $10 to invest? on: August 01, 2017, 05:34:50 AM
My question is if you have $10 which altcoin will you prefer to invest and why?

I think i can invest only $10 per month and i never invested in altcoins so far.

I must ask whether your $10 per month investment is for a long term basis. If its for a long term then perhaps you can choose those who may not increase in value for the following month but for the next several months. If its for a short term then even shitcoins are good for investment.

Anyway, I prefer DGB, XEM, RDD, Strat, and Waves.
4349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 31, 2017, 08:21:07 AM
Choose among the top ranked coins. You will not fail. Just hold them and wait for the price to rise. There is Strat, Verge, DGB, Waves, ETH, ETC, NEM, and some more. These are the coins that will likely become big in the right time. Just hold on to them. Do not mind if they go down sometimes. There is always fluctuations.

I have joined in the signature campaign of this project. This looks like a promising one. I wish the team success!

I just want to know the specific start and end days of the week for our posts to be valid.

Thanks, dev! Cheers!

I hope this project will still push through soon. I admire the people behind this project. This would be a huge success in the future.

4353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: July 26, 2017, 04:10:59 PM
Mine is not that complicated. I am buying altcoins that I believe are going to grow very strong in the coming months. I will just hold them. A few are also sold when it reaches a certain percentage but it does not mean that I will not acquire the same coin again. By the time the price goes down, I buy the same coin again. Most of the time, I'm sticking to the coins I really trust on.
4354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long does it take you to start getting profit in crypto trading on: July 26, 2017, 12:23:27 PM
Forget trading, it's the best way to say goodbye to your money.

You might like to try this company instead :- https://69119d65.usi-tech.info/

Crypto Trading is a "way to say goodbye to your money?" How come mate? Can you provide some hard basis for this? People have been trading cryptos and earned and got rich?

What strategy are you using by the way? Buy High, Sell Low?  Grin
4355  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: July 26, 2017, 03:14:08 AM
Signs are there all the time. So many of them. People are interpreting them the way they look at it. They vary. Some think the signs are good and some are thinking the signs are bad. Some think the signs are normal and temporary and some are looking at it as if it is going all the way down and the end is near. It will be up to them at the end of the day. But for me, I am trusting bitcoin and I will invest on it as much as I can because I believe that the price will still incur increases in the future.
4356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitrrex to handle the chain split on: July 25, 2017, 11:15:42 AM
I have like 80% value spread to different altcoins, that are in my bittrex wallet.

What would be the safest way to go forward?

Should I trade everything to btc and send it to private wallet?

Or are my funds safe even If I just keep them on my bittrex wallet as they are?

What would you do? Why?

I think alts are not a problem right now. Do not worry. Just hold them as they are and wait for this turmoil to cool down. That's what I'm doing also. I am avoiding bitcoin exchanges. I remain with my alts. Their price will be affected of course but their safety will remain good. When the smoke goes down, these will all rise again.
4357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] Monkey Capital - A Decentralised Hedge Fund on: July 25, 2017, 09:08:55 AM
We have just reached 1000 slack members, so thank you to everyone who joined slack! It's one of the greatest communities out there as well. Now let's spread the word and get to 5000 slack members.
You are a Good campaign Manager , i like the way you handle the system. You are better than jamalaezaz , but you should now strive to become a manager like yahoo62278.

Best of Luck!

I like the comparison.  Grin LOL. It seems Jamalaezaz does not how to care nor respond to the concerns of the people under the projects he serves as campaign manager. This one we have here is a world different. Far from Jamalaezaz. Way to go ColorlessK. A project's success is also partly due to how the campaign is being managed.
4358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being Unemployed Drives People to go to Bitcoin on: July 25, 2017, 06:31:04 AM
The primary reason why bitcoin drives people, both unemployed and employed, closer to itself is that it is a very convincing investment. The value is appreciating very fast that even the business people and the rich merchants are stunned in awe and astonishment as to how it all happened. It is not just the unemployed that is hooked to it, they include everyone who is aware of how fast its price grows, even bankers.
4359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: July 25, 2017, 02:23:34 AM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!

The debate whether ETH is really stable or not has been going on for quite a while already. Hardliners who are pro and anti ETH caused the debate to become heated a times. The issue that I have come across talks about the stability of ETH. Some would say ETH is like founded on hollow grounds, that it is not really growing normally but only on created hype. However, so far ETH is doing good when it comes to its market price. What I don't like though about ETH is that it has been hacked several times already.
4360  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people pray? on: July 24, 2017, 05:35:10 AM
People pray because there are things they cannot do. That's when they need someone or something out there or up there that might be of help. Things beyond human power are attributed to the gods. Praying is the way to send their pleadings to them.
