3841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market prediction 2019 on: January 07, 2019, 10:34:03 AM
This better be a good year in crypto market or i'm probably be focusing more on my business or even find another job. Currently I am studying more on how to enhance my trading skills. So please be good to us 2019. Grin
3842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: January 06, 2019, 04:19:19 PM
Price is very close to drop below $3 if this could happen than it will make this panic to all weak hands. Performance of this coin is not looking impressive even they are sharing good news but it is good to invest on low price.
price is now below 3 usd, i think it's a good time to buy. waves is one of the strong project, i'm gonna hodl and buy more, i'd be waiting for waves to reach 50 usd and sell some. btw only like 2 days left for smart assets to go live.

Of course it's brave move to buy dip I also see huge potential in this coin. Sasha putting his all the best to make this platform the best this is his passion to see this project among top 5 markets.
it would be amazing to see waves in top 5, sasha and team just keep delivering new features, there's a lot of things planned for 2019. right now is the best time to buy waves.

I think it was 2016 or 2017 when Waves became a top 10 coin. Dex is still a work in progress and it would be great to see it working well with a great interface too. Adoption is the most important task to be done here especially if this wants to stay in the top.
3843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will be bounce back? on: January 06, 2019, 02:37:48 PM
ETH is starting to bounce back. Expect more and continuous increase in prices even after Constantinople. Once POS is fully implemented we'll be over the previous ath again.
3844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETCV] Ethereum Classic Vision | Fork 3:1 of Ethereum on: January 06, 2019, 06:58:43 AM
Is it true that Binance announced support for this fork? Does this mean that the token will be traded on Binance? It would be amazing! I have a question: if my Ethereum is kept in my MEW, will I automatically receive all the coins?
Afaik binance never announce they will support this fork because you can only get the fork token when you keep your ETH on ETH wallet, not exchange wallet.

When it comes to airdrops or forks Binance is very open into it. It is just that the fork/airdrop team needs to contact them for the distribution. I am not sure if ETCV is doing this though as they are prolly focused right now on the coming fork.

When distribution comes, we will need an ETCV wallet as we will be in a different network.
3845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquaio vs. Adrien Broner on: January 06, 2019, 03:11:27 AM
Sounds like Broner is a perfect match for an old Pacquiao. I think this is going to be an easy win. The hard thing here is to predict if Paquiao will knockout Broner or will only win by decision.
3846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: January 06, 2019, 12:21:20 AM
I am curious. Was Lon Wong ousted or he resigned? Someone connected to NEM told me that Lon is developing another project. It is sad to see him go. I wonder how well NEM will proceed in the years to come.
3847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is ethereum on the rise?? on: January 05, 2019, 11:55:58 PM
I would love ethereum to go $200 or even higher this month. The rise started last month with bitcoin. They touched bottom already that sparked their rise. Ethereum continues to rise because of its coming hard forks. One of the forks is ETCV which will be given 3:1 ration on ETH holders.
3848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: January 05, 2019, 11:05:52 PM
I am a long term supporter of xmr - but the market manipulation on poloniex is sick.

Always been like that long before Circle was involved, kinda disappointing.

And it's not just poloniex. Nothing is new when it comes to so called manipulation of prices by the whales and other big institutions. So the best way here is to study in order to join the waves or to hodl a great coin.
3849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What upcoming ICO's are you most interested in? on: January 05, 2019, 07:05:12 PM
I say no more ICOs right now. Many of those previous projects lately are just creating a bad image on crypto. A fully registered and government compliant projects maybe acceptable but should be surrounded by a great team and connections.

I kind of like Ethereum Classic Vision which is just going to fork from ETH. This way they can proceed with the vision without collecting money.

3851  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: December 30, 2018, 02:10:14 AM
Without reading up further notice but still making deposits even the wallet is on maintenance and now they blame the exchange?  Huh

They mostly do it to earn some profits from an "arbitrage" opportunity. They:

-buy cheaper at X exchange to sell for more at Y exchange (seeing buy orders of better values at that Y exchange)
-then realize that the coin isn't even available for withdrawal through X exchange
-finally, bash that X exchange and eventually sell it back for an even cheaper price; they ultimately get into a little loss instead of a little profit.

Before arbitraging is a good way of earning quick profit. That was before when bitcoin transactions are around 10k sat to 20k sat. Now it is higher and altcoins too. HitBTC probably got the worst withdrawal fees on altcoins.
3852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][ICO] | Beaxy | 4% BXY REWARD | on: December 27, 2018, 07:12:10 AM
For the rest, I'll let you know if there is a KYC needed but every participant (minus multi accounts) will be paid anyway.

A KYC to get the bounties? I seriously doubt that Beaxy wants to go in that direction.
KYC = Know Your Customers.
The definition of a customer is: one that purchases a commodity or service.
Does participating in a bounty campaign mean buying a good or service? Clearly not!

Now, if you guys look at the situation carefully, it becomes funny.
Beaxy asked the bounty participants to provide a service (promoting Beaxy) in exchange for a payment (in Beaxy coins).
It is therefore logical to think that WE have the right to ask them for a KYC.

Right, was talking about that since a year.
There is nothing to do with KYC for bounty participants.
There are 2 ways why campaigns asking for KYC.
1) collect personal data
2) avoid payments.

that's it!

Aerys2 can you please comment on this?

By the way, did you guys just did the KYC or you will try to persuade the team to exclude KYC on bounty participants?

The KYC was not in bounty plans at first, still not sure if this changed.

Though I'll collect all your mails addresses just in case.

And no, there are more than 2 reasons why a KYC could be asked.

I can't remember signature participants filling in with their emails. Does it means you will need our emails soon sir Aerys2?

I actually don't mind registering with KYC anyway.
3853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: December 23, 2018, 05:51:34 AM
Weird. I thought this was a dead coin already. Isn't RChain now? Or both are sister projects?
3854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Deal Coin - Decentralised P2P Lending Eco-system - $15M raised in 3 days ! on: December 11, 2018, 05:33:11 AM
The other day in the telegram there was information that it is expected to add a token to the Latoken exchange. Hope this will really be the case. And that soon there will be new exchanges
I just confirm that this is the info I read now, good start, at least they have delivered their first exchange.

Will be waiting until the trading is live, we will be watching now because some of the tokens are still locked, anyways, I would like to extend my advance congratulations to the team.

I heard this too. It is a good start as LAtoken is known with decent volume. But we will see soon how Deal Coin performs there. People will be expecting more exchanges to follow. And also some good developments inside the project itself.

how much is fee for a coin to join waves dex ?

If you are interested to create your own on that platform it charge only 1 WAVES and than get started there without having any coding knowledge. There are thousands of unknown tokens which are being trading on this platform already.
I like how easy it is to make a token on the waves platform I have done it and it was simple.
I hope waves can go to 10 cents so I can accumulate many cheap coins for the future  Grin

Waves integration with many popular coins will probably make it very popular and a chance to be on the top. Easy and low fee on creation of tokens makes too many garbage tokens there on that beautiful dex.
3857  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TVE | TheViralExchange | P2P Marketing | Earn BTC with Social Media | on: October 15, 2018, 06:42:12 AM
Yes, since last time I spoke here nothings changed
Checked today - same error
That's not a big problem for me, I didn't have big balance, but somebody could have..

I also have small balances there. But I believe I can still withdraw those coins?
3858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: October 04, 2018, 07:05:41 AM
I can always see Patientory present on many conferences and other events that relates the purpose of this coin. But on that too many gatherings, are there some that are interested in using the technology? I think this is probably the first or let us just say one of the earliest in crypto that are targeting health services. I hope Patientory can achieve its use case soon.
3859  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 17, 2018, 11:12:57 AM
People will become comfortable using it when they realized that it is easier without consent from banks and government laws. But before that, the volatility level is still quite and issue. A wider adoption will change it.
3860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now? on: August 15, 2018, 07:51:18 AM
I want a long term investment what s the best choice for now?
And thank you for ur help

For long-term investment is only suitable bitcoin. All other coins can not be profitable for a long time it are better used for short-term investments.

You are funny. I bet big coins like ethereum, litecoin, nem and may more will grow bigger in the next few years. Bitcoin is good long term but I believe that some of these fundamentally sound coins will overtake.
