What ICO's are you most interested in that are upcoming? I have had a strong eye on Enjin and Paypie. What have you guys been looking at? All people tend to speculate on short-term moves but I am more interested in tokens that will go up x times over the next couple of years...

I mean Bitcoin started the whole thing but technically there are so much better, safer, faster, more anonymous coins that should take over in the long run.

I would of course pick those that are very aggressive in their project development. That would definitely include ethereum because it is still growing considering the number of ICOs that are yet to be conceived. That would also include waves. Waves is a very solid project and team but kind of undervalued in terms of their token. Even those that are waves-based, even if they are very good projects, are not pumping. Time will come they will all gain growth in value. |

Time to buy when the red tide is over and recovery is already showing some signs. This is a perfect strategy to create a maximized profit to your portfolio. However, you need to be accurate in your predictions because the altcoin world is not something that has a very easy to understand pattern and movements. Everything is possible here.

to find out a coin that is going 10x is really hard, lets be realist. But 2x - 3x is far more easy, any thoughts?  I do not deny that when it comes to altcoins, it is relatively easy to achieve that 10x goal. For bitcoin, it will probably reach more or less a year. But of course it is better to start with the 2x or 3x before looking at the bigger figure. I think I can recommend you DENT, AVT, SDRN, and OPT. These are very fresh coins that will probably climb several steps up the ladder by the time they realize some of their objectives. |

Airdrop means free coins. This is a form of introduction of their new token to the crypto community. They will distribute their own tokens to a limited number of participants depending on their particular rule. It does not automatically follow that because you have signed up the form you will receive some token. Please read the airdrop rules carefully because airdrops vary from one token to another. And please be careful when giving away your information. |

Overheard from some other posts. The good news that will come from china this month is that they will be returning to their past stance on cryptocurrencies, albeit a little bit regulated already. This is more than enough to help push bitcoin to another higher spot. Bitcoin will be rallying nonstop within the year. |

how long will the ico go? now it is at 80% and i bought some evc now too  That is a good move, mate. It is good that you were able to join at the last minute. I think that 80% selling of EVC tokens will become 90% in a few days and then 100% will follow. You should also monitor the prices of the rest of the altcoins. If you do that, you will not be really emotional about IOTA falling down. It is because the rest of the altcoins are also falling down in their values. That is understandable because of the movements of bitcoin. Sit back and relax because IOTA will rise again. |

It has to continue functioning as a coin, it will not die easily. Dogecoin is still widely used and there are still a lot of supporters to this project. The value is on that level because if you look at the total supply of this coin, it is very huge. Therefore it cannot easily become a 1-dollar coin. But it is definitely functioning according to its price also.

It is only safe if you do your part in the deal. It is not safe because there are scams. But if only people learn to distinguish scams from legit ones, good choices from crap ones, then ICOs will always appear to be one of the biggest investment in crypto. If you have seen some other trusted coins that will probably pull up your portfolio value, you may decide to cut loss. But if you want to continue holding on to these coins, you may also do so. These are big coins that have working teams behind. There are no worries that these are mere shitcoins. |

Top strategist Tom Lee says Bitcoin is going to 25,000.00 in five years. Well looking at this year you would say why not. The bullishness is there and to me the people like it. The Cryptocurrency is here to stay and it will become a major part in finance around the world.

I would even believe if this guy would say bitcoin is going to be $30,000 to $40,000 in five years. Why? Because bitcoin has more than doubled its price almost every year. If we follow the path of bitcoin's price, we can easily say that $25,000 in 5 years is a low speculation. Next year, 2018, bitcoin will for sure reach $15,000. Most of the members of this forum is definitely earning their biggest bitcoin and altcoin gains either from trading or campaigns. Trading is not profit always though. There are also dips in prices that we experience. In campaigns such as signature, social media, blog, video, and others, a certain amount of payment is definite after the end of a project's campaign period. I guess the least known though is selling artifacts related to crypto.

Well the markets reached all time highs recently so this is expected. I was expecting it to crash a lot lower after the China sell off last month, but we recovered and reached new time highs. I think another crash is bound to happen again. I mean just the beginning of the year Bitcoin was at $300 and Ethereum was $5, now just a few months later look at the prices. There has to be a correction, and that time is now. What do you think?
There will be no turning back both for bitcoin and ethereum. There is a little dip along the way of course. That is part and parcel of cryptocurrencies. They will of course rise and fall but in general you can see them climbing up. I think instead of going down, the value of these two coins will still appreciate as the year is about to close. |

Obviously it's jumped 100%+ today because of the IBM partnership announcement.
I'm considering moving out of Litecoin and into Stellar. Do you guys think there's a chance it'll head much higher this year? Or should I just HODL my litecoin? I'm so torn.
If I were you I would shift my investments to Stellar. This IBM partnership announcement is of course just the beginning. The deal has just been sealed. That is simply an assurance that there is something big to happen in the future. Is there anything like this with respect to Litecoin? I think there is none. |

I will still promote the same coin I have been following for a while. I will hold Bitcoin of course. The altcoins will be made up of Ethereum, Monaco, Ethereum Classic, Stratis, and Ripple. I will also include Waves, Verge, and Digibyte. Watch out specifically for Ripple because it has tied up with Microsoft.

What do you think about the possibility to buy tokens directly via one marketplace ?
How is that different from bittrex or polo? You can buy almost all tokens in these places. But you cannot buy tokens from these sites using fiat. These are exchange platforms. You will have some token to start with before having the ability to have some other coins. Most of the time, it's either you already have some Bitcoin or Ethereum. And then you can convert them to another coin from there. |

I mean, is there an exact list of rules that could guarantee that someone who follows them will surely not become a victim of another ICO scam. Of course there are obvious rules like event participation, reputation of team members among ather prifessionals, approve by well-known advisors. But potential scammers also know all these criteria and know what to fake exactly. Is there a 'blockchain way' to create an algorithm, scheme or set of conditions allowing to recognise and ban scammers? Not government laws way which also good for the market in my opinion. Would be appreciate a link to an old thread, perhaps I just didn't find it. UPD Best Advices: - learn about previous ICO projects, select viable ones and participate similar ICOs
If you want an app or an invention that would simply answers yes or no, or scam or legit, when you input a specific ICO, the answer is none. There are sites though that present their own assessments of ongoing and future ICOs. There are also sites that publish their rankings of top ICOs. |

The supply of Doge is very big. Can you imagine what will happen if every Doge will reach $1? That is very unlikely. The volume will suddenly jump too big with that speculation, which is simply impossible to happen. Doge is not performing very good in terms of value appreciation.
