The number one reason that makes me invest in an ICO is the future of the project. If I am really convinced of the real purpose of the project, I mean not just in the letters of their whitepaper and their website, but how they would actually implement their entire vision in reality. The problem they want to address in real life is a very important issue for me in an ICO. |

The answer is no, ICOs are not scam. ICOs are associated with scams because many projects offering new tokens or coins ended up scams. Some others may not be scams but it failed miserably. Some other devs of projects also ran away whatever gathered through ICOs.

Question in the title. When ETH hardforks, It is said that there will be 2 Hard Forks happening, which leads me to believe there will be ETH + ETH HF + ETH HF 2. What will I get by owning 1 ETH, will I get one of each coin, and then have 3 coins total? Is this just like the BTC and BCH split?  When ETH forks, the other sides will die as far as I know. ETH ETC was a special situation, these ones are just general update so the other sides won't be kept alive. Where did you get this conclusion or rather some observation? I haven't heard of Etherium Split other than the Etherium getting away from the original Etherium which eventually transformed into Etherium Classic. And ETC as well as ETH are still doing pretty good until now. |

The Dev does not stake the premine, anyone who opens their wallet will see the total weight of the network is not ridiculously huge, except when the Airdrops are being given out. The rest of the time the network weight if a reasonable amount allowing people to use the POS function easily and fairly. The coin itself have a huge growing community, and communities are what make these coins. It grows by hundreds of new members a week. Overall its one to watch for the future. DeepOnion is pretty working fairly right now. The scam accusation that once gave doubt to several people about this coin has been buried with the very big number of followers of the project. The moment of truth will be after the airdrop is done, which is quite long way later. |

First of all study all the project before to invest in it.
Second thing, try to check the roadmap and the features that the dev wants to create.

I don’t think their businesses that are accepting or investing to an ico will not totally shutdown, you know Chinese are very wise, they ban the ico so that they can create their own ico and cyptocurrency, to make it number one and to make it the most used ico worldwide.
