                4. Accounts must be active since last October 2019
                5. Earned at least 2 merits

Duration of the game:
First Stage or 60-day Elimination Period - All qualified participants are to predict the winners of the games posted to earn/lose points.
The Final Stage - Only top 10 of the participants with the highest points will proceed to this stage. The first to reach 12 points wins the game. Once a participant reaches 12 points the tournament officially ends (all the remaining live picks for that day are still to be counted).

***In case of a 12 points tie. The *top 10 ranked finalists will continue with their prediction picks until there is an established single points leader.
***In case of a tie in the runner ups, the First Stage ranking acts as the tie-breaker.
***If the First Stage ranking is not enough to decide (unlikely) on runner ups tie then we will set another games for them to predict until settled.

Mechanics of the Game:
1. I will be posting games daily and qualified participants can predict the winner of each game.
2. Cut-off time will be 23:59 GMT +8 or approximately 5 hours to 11 hours before every game starts. In order to be fair to participants having a hard time with the cut-off time. New cut-off time will be before the NBA official game time schedule, https://stats.nba.com/schedule/.
3. It is not necessary to predict all posted games. This way contestants missing some of the games due to priorities in life are not in a disadvantage to those active with their daily picks.
4. Every correct game prediction will be given 1 point and a wrong prediction is -1 point. A bad prediction has consequences just like in the real betting world. Quality over quantity wins the game.
5. You can change picks before cut-off time by quoting your old prediction and posting the updated one. Do not edit and delete.
6. When the games are starting already deleting and editing of predictions are considered cheating and you will be automatically banned in this game.
7. Participants reaching their accumulated total scores to -5 will be automatically eliminated in this tournament.

Additions to clarify and simplify the game

NO NEW PARTICIPANTS AFTER DAY 30 MATCHES

With regards to the 60-day elimination round. Let us not accept any new participants after day 30 matches. It diminishes the spirit of the game. The possibility that most of the participants will continue to have low scores but were able to survive elimination, it is a good accomplishment already and they deserved the rights to fight for the top 10. We cannot allow new participants to just hopped in, take advantage and try their luck in the late stage of the elimination period.

This additional rule also means that those below the top 10 ranks need to step up. It is either they face the risk of elimination in order to reach the top 10 or stay below top 10 which doesn't make any sense. Remember, top 10 participants if feeling safe can stop predicting and hold on with their points. But for those trying to top the ranking in the First Stage, they do have an advantage during the Final Stage.

***In case of a tie in the runner ups, the First Stage ranking acts as the tie-breaker.

ONLY TOP 10 RANKED PARTICIPANTS LEFT IN THE GAME ENDS THE FIRST STAGE BEFORE 60 DAYS

Because the championship round or the final stage matters most. So if only the top 10 players remained in the game, they can stop predicting and just hold on with their points. So we would rather end the First Stage early and proceed to the final and championship round.

In case of inactive participants as the only remaining survivors outside the top 10, they will be informed thru pm with a deadline if they want to continue.

Notes:
- Available games for prediction will also be posted in this link to avoid heavy back-reads in the last page, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197850.msg52950005#msg52950005.
- Rankings will be posted in this link, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5197850.msg52950009#msg52950009.
- Possible changes only when super necessary.
- I am also joining in this game as I want to test myself. Grin

3626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we still expect a repeat of 2017 ? on: October 31, 2019, 12:34:20 PM
I still expect another major bullrun anytime from now. Now that there are good developments on bitcoin like halving, it will happen again. China's good insight on bitcoin was a big news for Chinese investors. Recently in Canada a major stock exchange is also interested in listing bitcoin. Maybe this time, bullrun will be not as high as the previous rise but it is better to avoid another big dip too.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 30, 2019, 03:57:21 PM
Mate you are wrong. AJ and Eddeh were gunning for a Tyson Fury fight for the longest time since Tyson returned from retirement. But it is obvious that Fury needs more tune ups because he was out of his form. Wilder was supposed to be lucky by having a shot at an out of form Fury, but instead was schooled and salvaged a draw with a dramatic and controversial knockdown.
That's correct but is not because Tyson Fury needs more turn-ups as you said cause he actually embarked on the journey with the WWE against Braun Strowman but the reason why he didn't plan to fight Anthony was because of his loss to Ruiz and if Anthony win the next fight Tyson Fury will later fight Anthony as he said.

Sorry but it is either you haven't clearly read my comment or you obviously haven't followed boxing for a while. The tune ups I mentioned was after Tyson Fury announced his return to boxing after nearly three years of retirement/inactivity.

You guys need to stop worrying for Tyson Fury fighting Anthony Joshua. Andy Ruiz took AJ's soul already.
3628  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈 Earn 0.005 BTC* on NFL Game of the Week Parlays on Nitrogen Sports 🏈 on: October 30, 2019, 02:41:46 PM
- We're not a wallet service, we're a gaming site. As such, we don't expect our players to use the site as a wallet under any circumstances. This detail poses unique challenges for crypto sites in particular who have to be cautious of malicious transactions moving in and out of their platform with no indication of play. We take balance security very seriously and as such, do not take chances in circumstances like yours.

- We have a clear rule in our terms outlining the type of action we have to take in circumstances when unknown accounts want to move BTC in and out of Nitrogen without any reasonable expectation of play. In this case we charge a fee to dissuade the type of behaviour outlined above.

Then start charging basic network fee or mining fee for such users who are not there to play or maybe start charging a certain fee on all. Simply holding balance and charging a percentage (5%) is not fair. In real, you are not entitled to charge anything more than the mining fee.

True but they charged me 3% to withdraw my own bitcoin. I requested them to send me my all bitcoin to same address i used to deposit. Still they didn't and charged me 3% that's 0.024 BTC free to NitrogenSports. This is clear extortion of money. Either lose it all or give them 3%. Clear scam. Please support my flag here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=925

After being notorious for cancelling winnings bets and branded them as bad lines. Here comes another suspicious case. Probably not suspicious but a clear scamming activity.

@NinjaBitcoiner how long is your deposit not used in Nitrogen? I don't think someone deserves a 3% withdrawal fee if the fund is left unused. If you don't like people parking their funds unused in your site then put it in your TOS/TOC with your fees.

When I started in this forum, Nitrogen was topping the list as the most trusted sportsbook in this forum. Now Nitrogen is probably the last to be trusted with Betcoin.ag heading for a move to clear its name.
3629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: October 30, 2019, 09:30:39 AM
Gurus wanting people to see how good they are. They are ready to sell their knowledge thru seminars, books and tutorials. I began to wonder if they are really earning good on their trades or they earned by selling their knowledge that are still to be proven yet. I see many traders posting in social media. Some are posting their big gain gains and when someone asks, they will tell you to study hard and that they are showing their gains to motivate people to study harder. I don't see their gain posts as some sort of motivations. Other traders will also post share their successful buy and sell trades.

I think they should just post their entry points and then post again once they exit their positions. This way, we can see if they are gaining or not. This is the cleanest way to prove themselves.

Though undefeated sila sa west, they are still not the team who are the favorites to win the NBA championship.
Top 3 are Lakers, Clippers, and Rockets, sila ang legit na magagaling talaga now.

Agree, its still too early to judge the current team right now, IIRC, in the past Minnesota Timberwolves had some good start as well but they were not able to maintain it when the playoffs was near. We will likely see the true potential of the team once the playoffs is already approaching.

Paper wise malakas talaga Lakers, Clippers at Rockets.

They used to have Kevin Garnett, Kevin Love (not that good pero that team had potential in deep playoffs, kunting changes na lang siguro yun) at ngayon si Karl Anthony Towns. Maganda pasok sa playoffs palagi, di yung pag hindi magchampion in 2 years major rebuild kaagad at balik kulilat. Sa bagay nakakasave sila ng funds by letting go their good players.

Pool will be 0.02BTC.

Nice thread. I will start to follow too. Big point on the slightest odds difference. In Sportsbet, most of the time I only have 1 bet per sport daily. Early this year, I started to realize that Sportsbet's price booster matters in the long run. I cannot diversify my bets per sport and I have to be more careful with my picks but I did saved good amount compared to before. I seldom do parlays though, too busy irl to analyze.

Your options for now are Sportsbet, Betcoin, BitcoinRush and Fairlay or did I miss a thing? I'll try some of your parlays.
3634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is Not Ready for Libra on: October 29, 2019, 03:10:14 AM
Expect Libra to be well received if it launches. There are many giant companies that ceased partnership with Libra not because they don't like it but due to government law pressures. There are still big companies and the open market will still accept Libra.

Libra is centralized but it can bring something positive for decentralized currencies. There are billions of people using Facebook and they will be exposed to crypto world. Once these users realized that there are other options aside from Libra, like bitcoin and other decentralized currencies, many of these users will shift.

Their 0-9 win over Southampton was no fluke
That final scoreline sure was a fluke  Cheesy

No team makes it a habit to score 9 goals in a match, it has only happened a handful of time in history, so in a way it is a fluke for every team. But it is a reflection of the position a team is in and their ability to blow opponents away, the team has progressed so much since Brendan Rogers took over. They are among the top teams in points picked during that period and Vardy has scored more goals than any other player within the same period

Leicester showed big improvement this season. They're having a good start, currently at the 3rd spot but only 2 pts behind from Man City. Only two losses were outside against another top teams. Not saying Man United is a top team this early season but they are quite strong at their home games. The season is long and Leicester might lose some of its players, hopefully not. Giant clubs from different leagues are keeping their eyes.
3636  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20,000 USD by the year end. on: October 28, 2019, 05:07:37 PM
It seems unlikely but you can not say never here in crypto currency market. Those that are already here investing crypto currencies over the years understand how they move. The volatility level is very high. Everything here is possible. My wild guess is $13,000. I don't want bitcoin to have another big and long period of corrections again so I prefer a slower upward movement with tiny corrections.

3637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who do you think will win the fight? on: October 28, 2019, 06:41:11 AM
People say that because there's proof that wrestling is totally fake, there's a lot of meme about that right now. Videos also that proving that wrestling is a fake, well not the wrestling totally but the one that we are watching on our television. It's just pure entertainment for kids because, as a kid, I really enjoy watching the show. But when it comes to betting which is going to win, I will rather not bet at all in these kinds of an entertainment show. Because there will be no accurate data, who's gonna win the decision is gonna be on their director, hahaha.
You can say your own opinion but there is only way to find out if their fights are really fake and the wrestlers is not hurt because of it. I also think that WWE won't bother to answer the question about being fake. People can show proofs but were not 100% that it is really fake/scripted. Well, anyone knows who will be the winner of their scripted match?

And I thought only kids believe that WWE are not scripted and fake. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Take a look at his short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrOCW0k1rrY. You sure will enjoy it. That is the reality of World Wrestling Entertainment. It's fun that is why their events are still big hits. Sometimes their tickets becomes very expensive too. Even myself, if they will visit my place, I will watch it. I love watching them especially Rey Mysterio and The Hary Boyz. Funniest boxer that fought at WWE was Floyd Mayweather jr vs The Big Show. It was garbage. Cheesy
3638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 28, 2019, 06:19:51 AM
Tyson has nothing to do with this fight let's focus on this one,
I think there is not yet a general boxing thread here so I can understand people talking other fighters but still inter connected like Tyson Fury.

Tyson Fury has nothing to do with the fight but it is true that Anthony Joshua and his management was avoiding him for a long time.

3639  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] Bakkt sets new all-time high in trading volume as Bitcoin price soars on: October 28, 2019, 05:53:57 AM
Bakkt itself owned by a giant and powerful company ICE is not a guarantee for bitcoin price to increase. ICE is here to make profit either bitcoin price goes down or it goes up.

Slowly but surely dadami na ang tatangkilik kay bitcoin lalo na institutional investors it's because these whales and giants will be confident and they trust ICE. Remember, ICE owns the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

May halving pa, trade war, Brexit, Middle East chaos at issue dun sa Ukraine, pwede ito maging daan kay bitcoin as a safe currency and investment.

An update of this loan and also for reference na rin. As per telegram and pm. Loan is extended until November 9. Interest from BTC0.001 to BTC0.00275. Meron partial payment today of BTC0.00375. Outstanding balance payable on or before November 9 is BTC0.0095.
Since the list only covers principal and there's no data yet if how much of the BTC0.00375 applies to interest, I'm going to assume that the partial payment covers all interest to make the list simple.

Please confirm also if the balance is BTC0.0095. From my understanding, it should be BTC0.009

snipped~

Here is the breakdown:

0.01000 - principal loan amount
0.00275 - total interest
0.01275 - total amount payable
0.00325 - partial payment 10/27/2019
