I've met him in person multiple times and called him out on his actions, alongside doing the same on the forums here. In person he always dismissed it, and on the forums he replied with blackmail and slander. Finally justice has met BFL! You never called out a single thing in person. You cowered and mumbled your way through our encounters, thinking you were being clever and that I didn't know who you were. Then a second later he is dead. Clearly the cop over-reacted and there should be consequences for the cop, otherwise it sends a message that they can get away with murder whenever they want. thats hardly murder, clearly it was not premeditated. I'm not saying this kid deserved being shot, but he saw the car pull up, and decided to run off. and anyone with half a brain knows you dont try to do jumpy stupid things like stick your hands down your pants when a cop is trying to talk to you. its sad, yes, but not murder anyone with half a brain knows the difference between "running off" and "walking casually" away still. It is murder. They are supposedly trained to make those split second decisions and see a weapon. Not just shoot because the person did what they were told to do. these kits. Now it doesn't seem like such a great deal.
they can't because of how the upgrade works to me i rather they did not mount them but as they prefect it and put out more upgrades well see better improvements in how do it etc . my point is the price doesn't reflect the labor needed to reconfigure. but thats just my not so humble opinion. I agree there are not really meant for the newbie or user so to speak more for the DIY that don't mind and want to save some money and re use old parts for a time . Me I'm one  . Same here I wouldn't mind putting it together but hell attach the heatsinks and include the paste. Or drop the price some more. I have enough paste to last me a lifetime but that isn't the point. |

I think it's close minded to think "excess" usage is automatically a grow op.
If the person had a record of growing marijuana before it's pretty natural to jump to that conclusion, regardless of how correct that assumption is.it's kinda like how excons got put into suspect list when related crimes occurred in the vicinity. A person could be doing one of several things easily. all consisting of working out of their home. Even doing some of these things for a hobby would make a meter spin hard. a good compressor will eat up electric (woodshop, autobody, mechanic etc etc) a kiln will eat up electric (ceramics / glass making) electric water heaters are notorious (chandlers and I have no idea what else) a lot of hot showers  hah obviously a bitcoin datacenter someone could even have a real garden as well. (not the kind in the topic) It would help to know what they consider "normal" or "excessive" I think "excessive " would mean having a electricity usage far higher than normal(maybe magnitudes higher than thy's neighbours).I agree any of the activity listed would trigger that alert.I'm willing to bet that even if his excessive usage were due to the other activities listed he would still be raided based on his previously record .Especially if he kept those "hobbies" outside superficial scrutiny. He wasn't busted for growing but for possession of a 1/2 pound which is a big difference. THerefore there wasn't probable cause that he was growing because he had possesion before. If they caught him growing before ok but they didn't. And really sherlock no shit "excessive" is more than "normal". Even I knew that. What he is actually charged with has nothing to do with what probable cause the police had when the warrant was issued. There were signs that he was growing illegal drugs in his house (which turned out to be a false positive) therefore there was probable cause that he was growing drugs. The fact that the police found something unrelated to the crime they thought he was committing does not have anything to do with probable cause. with your logic every criminal should be investigated because their is probable cause they will do it again. Done arguing, go work for the prosecutors office they love guys like you. |

I think the military trains for these kinds or outbreaks and that is why they would be a useful tool to access and help contain the situation. At the same time I wonder how much they can really do when the doctors that have been there are getting Ebola themselves. It's all just a mess. but hopefully they can help restore some kind of order in an environment full of panic and fear.
In order to contain the outbreak, each person who has contracted the virus needs to be quarantined from the rest of the population. The military does have somewhat amount of training to do this and to be able to assist with doing this. The reasons the doctors and other medical personal have been contracting the virus is because they are not taking the necessary precautions to protect themselves when dealing with patients. It is not because that are not taking the precautions. They don't have the protective clothing to wear in the first place. For example they are reusing gloves, if they have them. I would hope the situation is better now (regarding gear) but I doubt it in some areas. |
