And if his team wins the FIBA, then it will motivate him more to go and get that back to back NBA champions. He is healthy and so are the other core member of Denver Nuggets so for sure they will play as harder as last year.

We are going to find out in less than 2 hours, but I'm sure the final game tonight between Germany and Serbia will not be the same as Canada vs. USA, as both teams are displaying great ball movement and defense. I'm excited to see it, and I hope the winner is truly the deserving team. If Team Schröder wins here, I think it will help him a lot with his NBA team; he'll probably get more minutes, and his confidence will boost.

Yes, it will boost him if he manages to win the title in this ongoing world cup, he might get more minutes and will give his career another
hype, I like the way both Serbia and Germany rotate the ball.

They are familiar with each other and they can manage to bring the best competition as how the fans wanted to see them play this upcoming finals.

Patiently waiting for the finals and I might give some coins for Germany here, though will check first during the live game. Good luck!

[....]
Yeah between USA and Canada I don't expect anything I don't see anything interesting I wouldn't place a bet there, I'm afraid they are playing like behind the scenes you probably understand what I mean  Roll Eyes
A fixed game? I don't know about that. There's too much ego at stake for team USA not to win the bronze medal. They would be a laughing stock back home if they don't. They are already embarrassed enough so they should at least finish the tournament with a win. Canada may not have that same drive but I bet they would still want to show they can win. These two teams will most likely become close rivals in the world stage for a few more years.

I doubt there is a game fixing in the battle for the bronze. At the very least, it could be that some American players aren't that interested in the 3rd place and will lose the fire in them. But I am pretty sure that their coach Steve Kerr wants to win the 3rd place. This is a challenge to him and he will do everything to enlighten his team in getting a win. The same with Canada, they want this 3rd place and then come back stronger next year in the Paris Olympics with their experience.

Less than an hour already before it starts. I actually have ML bets on Canada and Serbia.

Still a country's pride and the game even it's for the bronze both squads will try to complete the tournament with something to bring home
though I'm in the impression that key players would try to avoid any possible injury and just play the usual routine.

Early quarter and Canada have the lead, we might see them win or maybe US is just analyzing the game and will start to push after the next couple
of minutes.

Well , good luck to those who bet for this game, will continue to check update and see who's going to bring the bronze medal.

20k in 2017 equating to a potential 200k in the next few years I suppose could make sense but I'd rather guess BTC slows down in its trajectory or curve on the graph.  The figures achieved for an ATH will still be impressive but I wouldnt draw a straight line more of a cannon ball curve with less height gained over time.   We cannot easily estimate due to the Dollar itself altering greatly in the ten years after 2017 but suffice to say I do not believe in any hard dollar scenario.   Interest costs at elevated levels will consume the entire fiscal budget, its very likely repayment occurs via inflation and value losses to the population mostly common working family.

But we never thought that $20k in 2017 is possible, and that's why we look at $100k in 2021, but it didn't happen. So I don't think it might slow down in the future, on the contrary it could really move to even $1 million in the future.

Maybe a couple of halvings, or when all bitcoin has been mined, meaning 99% of it, the price could really go up in the next year or so. But currently we might be look at 6 digits in 2024-2025.

Good point, we never knew until it happened, so better to keep an eye on what the market will bring us in the next couple of years or maybe
in a nearest halving day.

We only need to keep our research and continue to assess the situation making sure you have something that concretely allow you to keep holding.

Buy and then keep your asset safe, sooner or later you'll enjoy the benefits of trusting the asset.
444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading not for everyone! on: September 09, 2023, 12:29:16 AM
Trading is always overrated as one cannot simply get into trading and expect high profits afterwards. In fact, trading will definitely put us into more losses and failures if we rush into trading without knowing the prerequisites to trade. Therefore, if there are no knowledge and skills and there are no reliable experiences in trading, it’s better to never jump into trading because surely, it will only test our patience and persistence through consistent losing.
Believe me mate, I have been there and also tried it out and yes as you say it's really overrated and many people just go into this act thinking they can make easy cash which is quite the opposite and if I might compare it I think I will compare it to a gambling but the only difference about the two is that in trading if you are sound in years of training and study of the candle sticks and market flow then you might have a slight chance of making something out of the act of trading but there is still no guarantee to this.
Trading without knowledge will end up like gambling but yes, there are only two possible results either win or lose. But in the situation that we have no trading experience, knowledge, or skill, bigger chances that we will lose. That is why if we want to become successful, we also have to spend more time learning to trade and work hard for it or else, help ourselves to accept that trading is not for us as it is impossible it works if we don't. We must know that the only way to earn a profit from trading is to enhance our capabilities as well which I see many traders feel it just easy.

Having better understanding can give you good chance to earn from this venue of business, unlike without any knowledge about
trading your chance is really slim compared to that chance of getting wrecked out.

Trading is for people who have that patience and better understanding of situational awareness.

You just can't place your investment without knowing how the business works, as there are many factors that affects the whole
industry that you need to learn and understand.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: September 08, 2023, 11:48:46 PM
It's been awhile I try daily to make profit

Stake casino mostly mines

But it take back profit.. I have 2k balance.. is there method

To get 100 $ per day
I would say based on your question you cannot profit this way. Gambling is a game of complete luck where you gamble with the amount you can afford to lose. There is no promise that you will earn $100 per day with $2000. $2000 you use for business without going into gambling but here you can be sure to earn less. So I want to tell you that your $2000 is very valuable to me. Please don't be too greedy and earn less so that you can be safe.

Logically right, if you use that capital in finding decent investment or business the chance is far better compared to use it into gambling
where your chance is less and the possibility that you can burned everything is high.

There's no assurance inside gambling, you can only win if luck and good money management is present and can be practice the right way.

Better to find other alternative instead of thinking that gambling can give you good way to profit out from your initial bankroll.
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 08, 2023, 01:39:23 PM
Coming up next. The USA is a big favorite over Germany. An upset is not out of the table but I do hope we'll see an exciting game.

This is an interesting match up, but in their last game, I saw some problems from Germany, so I think they are not going to beat the USA. It will be USA vs. Serbia in the Finals, and Serbia will upset the USA to take the win. They have the consistency and great teamwork, so although Canada is full of NBA talents, they aren't strong enough to disrupt the great chemistry of Serbia.

It's too early to predict the Finals matchup. What if there are 2 upsets in the semi-finals, and we end up seeing Germany vs. Serbia in the Finals? The current game is quite close, with Germany even leading by 1 point in the first quarter, so this is a 50/50 ball game. It's a bit concerning if the USA can't dominate, as they might lose again. It would be their second loss if that were to happen, and they'd be out this time around. So far, the field goal percentage is very high, but I expect that defense will be imposed in the succeeding quarters.

This game has been exciting to watch. It looks like they are evenly matched, and let's remember that the -10.5 handicap given by the USA could even lead to a loss if they cannot control the tempo of the game. If this game remains close until the 4th quarter, then I would say that +10.5 will be easily covered, and we will see a lot of happy bettors here. USA is just overrated, composed of young and inexperienced players, and we expect them to dominate?

Still far from the conclusion, 2 more quarters for both teams to come up with good plays and good blending of players inside the court.

Germany is really playing well, not letting team US to dominate and control the tempo, just a single point lead after 2 quarters, still hard to predict
if who's National squad will control the final half and win the slot for the finals.

Same with you, that handicap might be covered for Germany if the tempo of this game remains the same.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 08, 2023, 01:30:07 PM
A lot of talk about Christian Wood and I agree it is a good signing, but I still don’t think he starts or even replaces Rui when it comes to minutes. Rui had a great season last year and I think Christian Wood will likely get garbage minutes in comparison. I still say he’s an insurance policy in case Anthony Davis goes down.
I agree with you. The small contract may have been due to the fact that from the start Wood was not competing with Davis as a power forward, but as a backup. The presence of Wood will allow Davis to save playing minutes, in order to maintain his physical fitness throughout the season.
It would be worse if his purpose is to replace Davis if he goes down. I think it's better if he would get some minutes alongside Davis so that Davis's risk of getting injured will be reduced. Less minutes mean less risk. The Lakers can't afford to lose Davis. What would happen if Davis suffers a season-ending injury? Would Christian Wood be enough for the Lakers to still be considered a championship team? I believe prevention is always better, and they can start that by limiting Davis's playing time.

Better to be that way, giving Davis quality minutes either alongside with him or giving him enough rest to lessen the chance of getting
serious injury.

It can only be judge once the league already start all are speculation and based on own opinions whether Wood will be fit for the Lakers and this
move from the Lakers management will give them a good run this season.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling by financial dependents. on: September 07, 2023, 10:19:40 PM
Of course, after some time, I realized that I can’t earn a lot on gambling and I’m unlikely to be able to, or rather, I sometimes managed to earn something, but at work I earned much more, so I didn’t have questions about where I would earn money, but gambling remained fun for me.
Yes you will not earn money apart from your job, as I also said in this forum that gambling should be fun not a place that can make a lot of money, I think it's good if you have thought consciously seeking wealth in gambling it will only be in vain and waste time, wise and intelligent people only play gambling for fun, nothing more than that, winning is a bonus.

I always think that winning is a bonus in gambling so it's not my target to look for that win, usually every day I work to make money sometimes sometimes I need entertainment and I gamble on weekends for that entertainment using my cellphone and enjoying my leisure time, nothing more , fortunately you have realized it before it gets too deep

Making money from gambling entertainment can classify as a bonus, though not all do have that principle but instead more are into
winning money and aiming for that big win.

If you play that way, the chance of losing a lot of money can actually happen to you. There are many incidences where a gambler mistakenly Yolo
everything and lose it all in just some few clicks or some few bets that they take.

remember that there's no guarantee when you are inside gambling activities. Most  depends on luck and good control of your bankroll.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: September 07, 2023, 08:31:18 PM
By doing that you'll be able to avoid losing a lot of money, as we know while inside the casino things might be different, your excitement
and your aggressions may put you in a difficult position.

Winning may push you to aim for more while losing may lead you to be more aggressive and to keep chasing your losses.

It's on how you handle your set budget and expectation with how you manage your bankroll.
Avoiding losing a lot of money from gambling is a must so that we are not in a difficult position because losing a lot of money can make us want to recover the lost money and there is a possibility that we will deposit money again. Even though depositing more money into our gambling account does not guarantee that we can recover the previous money lost, it can provide an opportunity to lose more money. We should appreciate our win by stopping immediately and not wanting to chase other wins because that will definitely be difficult to achieve.

And it is true that this depends on how you manage your money while gambling. If you can manage it well, you won't lose much money and can even have some money left to play with another day. And we also don't need to deposit any more money when we want to gamble.

If you manage it well, you will end your sessions with a smile either you win or you lose there's no problem that will be created
during your gambling participation.

As you know that you keep your money in good control, though there are times when you will exceed from your set targets but if you are capable of
stopping and not allowing to continue up to burning everything in your bankroll.

You still have that kind of control over your emotion and that's a good indicator that you are playing with care about your finances.
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 07, 2023, 07:41:18 PM
Germany vs. USA will be battling in the semi-final round. Although Germany is surely an underdog, I believe this team could match the USA due to their great chemistry. Let us not forget that they are undefeated in the FIBA World Cup, while the USA has lost once. Hopefully, Dennis SCHRODER will have a good game and bounce back after a not-so-good performance in their last game. This is their ticket to the Finals, and beating the USA would give them very good momentum to face the winner of Serbia vs. Canada.

Germany though is a huge underdog, -10.5 against the US. While Canada is -5.5 against Serbia. So if there will be a close match in the semis, it will be Canada vs Serbia.

US might have to lock in Dennis the Menace and that's it, they will have a good chance to win and might cover the spread. As against the Canada that might go against a Serbian team that might be looking for an upset in this FIBA World Cup.

The spread might be overvalued, and since this is a semi-final game, I think I would just bet on the underdog here. Germany is ranked 11, I believe, before the FIBA World Cup, but they have come this far, so I would not underestimate them despite facing the USA. I always consider that the USA lost to Lithuania, and with that in mind, I think I will be betting on Germany's moneyline and its handicap.

Additionally, I will just continue betting on the underdog, not because I believe Serbia is the stronger team, but because I'd like to see Brooks cry, LOL!

Yeah, if you have that spare and you are willing to take that high-risk bet for Germany, it's something that if upset takes place
you'll be the one that will going to smile.

The handicap is also interesting as -10.5 for someone who reaches this far, and with competitive players who can also play tough offense and defense.

Let see if how they will perform and how this tournament will be concluded and who will be the one that will advance to the finals.
451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 07, 2023, 12:07:37 PM
The Lakers have signed forward Christian Wood to a 2 year deal. Christian had a decent year last year averaging 16 & 7. I’m not sure how he’ll fit into the lineup but maybe he’s a little extra insurance in case something happens to Anthony Davis. Wood did dominate the Lakers in the Christmas game last year…

Good, I thought that he will be in the Warriors, but I guess Lakers is not that bad for Wood to be a destination team. Yeah, most likely it he will be some insurance for Davis, if ever AD got injured or something, at least there will be someone to cover the Center/PF department for the Lakers unlike last year.

Decent stat but he was not a impact to the Mavericks last year and I think he struggled with the rotation and chemistry with the players and it's good though that he has been released and then pick up by Lakers for a 2 year deal.

Maybe he is a slight downgrade from Davis (just a bit though). I mean, both can dominate the paint and can shoot from outside, so it looks like he can fit into the chemistry needed for the Lakers team to work smoothly. Davis' minutes need to be managed, as they cannot afford to miss him in the playoffs. So, having Christian Wood, who is known for his offensive skills, I think he'll shine with the Lakers. The advantage the Lakers have is their big lineup, so the defensive and rebounding liabilities for Wood may not be as challenging.

Christian Wood is not on the same level as Anthony Davis but at a minimum contract of just over $2 million next season, that's already a steal. His stats deserved a double-digit contract so this is another big achievement in terms of the Lakers' negotiating strategy. Wood is a good shooter outside and inside so he is definitely another offensive player to not take for granted. He is also in mid 20s which means he can still be developed, especially his defense.

The Lakers are really doing well this off-season with very good additions. And with Bron still playing at an elite level, this team will definitely give the top favorite teams a run for their money.

Yes, they are not in the same pay grade, and obviously he will be used as a back up for AD in case something happen to him. And so it was interesting to see him with the Lakers though, he didn't have a good playing time with the Dallas and really might not be a good fit for them.

But I do agree, they retain some of their core, and then trade or shift others and then give way to Wood to fill the gap for them. So it will be a different Lakers and hopefully Lebron can still perform at high level at his age.

Good back up as he can also play both number 4 and 5. He was a good young prospect way back in Houston, but after
playing with the Mavs, he got limited minutes.

I think he can find his place with the Lakers, not a scoring machine but addition with their defensive arsenal, if he can adjust and find his place.

Maybe it will be a good season for him and for the Lakers. Only time can tell, though. We need to wait for them to play together and win games.

Napakahirap isipin ng gagawin if ever mangyari to halos lahat ngayon ang buhay dumudepende na sa internet.

Sobrang hirap talaga kung sakaling mangyari man. Pero sa tingin ko malabo to mangyari in the near future.

Investing in any coin involves risk. If you don't take risk, you will never see success. Sometimes we have to choose the coin with our own thinking and then invest. There are some coins which will involve money risk. Which coin to invest in? No. Before investing, it will be safe to check the coins and then invest. After investing, we have to sell the invested coins at the right time. We can't make more profit. If we are greedy, our money will be at risk.

Greed is a very difficult thing to control. Man will be able to control his greed on the day when there will be no desire for much. Everyone wants to change their position. You have an investment of 1000 dollars and from that 1000 dollar investment your profit is 200 dollars. You want more profit. When you have more profit, your greed will increase and you will wait more to get more profit. It will appear that your investment has lost instead of profit. Then you will understand your greed. If I had sold my investment when the profit was $200, I might not be at a loss now. There is no point in making a mistake and then realizing it, we must first understand and must control greed. If we can control greed then surely we can do good things.

Precisely, if you know how to set your target and you are able to execute that kind of target, then it's true that you will manage to make something
good out of this business.

Though it's not easy to control your greed as we all understand that human desire that always aiming for more, you needed to work on it and manage
control.

With that kind of mentality, trading might be a good venue if you can really make it work in terms of controlling your emotions and greed.

With the Harden drama hanging over the Sixers, Embiid has come forward to say that he plans to stay in Philly no matter what happens with Harden. That seems like a positive development for them. They also signed Danny Green to bring him back to Philly, where I assume he will retire as he spent plenty of years there.

Ok, probably just to silent everything in the Philly camp as there has been a lot of drama on Harden again. So it's good to hear that Joel will stay at least for now and chase that ring for the them.

Yes, Danny Green was huge for them, and I thought that he will going to retire for good. And most likely he will retire as a Sixers. And hopefully he can still hit that 3's because during his prime, he was known to really be a big outside shooter.

Good move for Embiid to break that drama he's still the main alpha and still the MVP of the team with or without Harden they still have the
players who can compete alongside with him.

Let see if how that will affect the fans and if they will be going to trade harden to whoever team that will risk or take him, if there's no
good communication between Harden and the management, better to let him go.

I’m not sure how he’ll fit into the lineup but maybe he’s a little extra insurance in case something happens to Anthony Davis. Wood did dominate the Lakers in the Christmas game last year…

I think Christian Wood for the Lakers alongside Anthony Davis might just end up being a recipe for disaster, like Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns partnership at the Timberwolves, except Wood being more of better shot maker outside the perimeter and serve as an insurance policy like you said for when AD is being out than usual or when AD is just off his game and can't dominate the paint like he ought to, I don't know why Dallas Mavericks didn't stick with him as a Center, he's an all round better player than more often useless than not of Center they have in Dwight Powell, who shouldn't even have ever graced a basketball court imo, I felt they've found quite a replacement for Porzingis in Wood, perhaps not a perfect fit, but not quite short-off from general perspective of him being versatile enough to play as a F, C or both combined quite effortlessly.

If Wood fits his game style to the Lakers and both LeBron will be playing with good health for sure they can make something good
out of this new squad, in terms of versatility, Wood can provide good space.

Plus, at the defensive ends, he can also provide a good defensive stop. With his speed and his span, it's not an easy to go to the basket of anyone.

Let see if how he will be able to find his place inside the Lakers squad and what contribution he can add for the betterment of the team.

Team US shows huge dominance in this game, they lead from start to finish and not letting Italy to close the gap until the last quarter.

Maybe they realize that after that loss they will be criticized, and they needed to work more to prove that they still
one of the top in this tournament.

Let see if how they will finish this world cup and how they will satisfy their fans and shut the mouth of their critics.

Damn, I was hoping Italy would give them a better fight.
Having won by such a big margin the motivational level will be high again for the US team.

If Germany can beat Latvia tonight it will be an even harder match with the US, now that they showed their true face.
I still believe we have a chance but we will be a HUGE underdog nevertheless.

Lithuania was very disappointing and I was sad seeing them go out in such a fashion. They live and die with the 3 point shot and yesterday this was just not what they needed.

germany is highly favourite over latvia in this upcoming game. so let's see if they can truly give the expectations of their fans. and that for sure will give a very good challenge to the US team if they will face with germany.
seems that early odds by bookies giving US as  the potential winner of this event may actually come true.

Germany will be a big challenge for team US for sure, they are really playing well, and they have that good connections with
each other, continuing to play like this will give them good edge.

Though we can't conclude if how Latvia will come inside the court, they will not be advancing to this level if they don't have anything to bring.

Let see which team will win and will continue to the semi-final round.

Although, after saying that, that also means that we're truly underestimating Tapales here because we're already assuming that by then Inoue is still the champion and that Tapaes was just a mere ladder to achieve Inoue's target.

Underestimating might not be the best word to describe the majority take on this fight. We are just looking at the closest possible thing to happen.

Don't get me wrong, even though I'm with Tapales to win the fight, it's still tough for me to think how can he even make an upset against Inoue. The Japanese monster is ahead of everything compared to Tapales. We can't compare Naoya Inoue to Murodjon Akhmadaliev, the one that Tapales upset why he became a champion. We can't also compare this to starting Pacquiao when he was chosen as a replacement to fight Marco Antonio Barrera. Back then, Pacquiao was already showing potential. About Tapales, he just started to become special because of the upset win and becoming a champion.

Tapales has a low chance of beating Inoue but since he's my fellow countrymen, I will put a bet on him to show support.

Unethical move by me? No, it's just that low chance still has a chance.

That last point on your statement is true, small chance still a chance and even by stats Tapales is by far from Inoue we can't conclude
it yet if a lucky punch will give him the win.

Though we are hi-jacking the topic, it's good to see if Tapales will do everything and bring his name up, whether he loses or he makes an
upset, it will be interesting to see his progress and his fighting dedications.

Let see if what will be the turn of events for both Tapales and Casimero who will going to have their respective fights.

There is a rumor floating around that Errol Spence had broken his ties with long time trainer Derrick James.
Again, this is just a rumor and could be fake news, but we all know that when fighters suffer their first defeat, they usually change trainers.
Just like with Anthony Joshua. And they said that the replacement will be Roy Jones. But that's where it gets interesting as Roy Jones for me is not a good trainer.
This is not good for Spence if this is true, if he is going to change it should be a trainer that is better than his current trainer, it will take a lot of time for both of them to familiarize each other they will need a tune-up fight first to fully familiarize or if Roy Jones style and method is suited for Spence.
Spence I believe is devastated he will not think of changing his trainer if he is not, They have gone a long way, and the loss in fact is a big challenge for both of them to improve, Derrick James' replacement just proved that Spence is ready to take a risk just to get even with Crawford.

First experienced as they both think that they've got superiorities and for sure losing is really something that they did not expect,

I agree that changing trainer while preparing for a rematch might affect the system which they already have, they need to find ways to
make sure that they have a better chance of winning.

Spence and his trainer need to work together, and they need to be open to whatever the outcome.

Italy ML @11.0 vs US

Taking my chances here though i like the US to win but their lack of experience might cost this game for them tonight.

I like your call. I believe the USA is overrated, and Italy has been winning games since they visited Pacman. Maybe they got inspired by Pacman, LOL. Anyway, I still love the pick; it's like 'go big or go home.' Good luck; I'm joining you!

Good luck, guys! The game has started, and it seems like it's a close one, so there's a chance, hehe. The USA likes to play small ball; maybe Italy has a good strategy to counter their style. The fact that the USA has lost once already indicates they have a weakness that any team could exploit. Italy has also lost once, but we've seen how good they are when they move the ball well, so it could be a 50-50 game.

Before entering the casino, let's have the mentality that gambling is just an entertaining game, not something that helps us make money. We should not research or learn too deeply about gambling because it will cause addiction. Go there and bet your luck on a few games. Please set the maximum amount allowed to spend on this game. Don't try to win this game. Think of it like spending money to watch a good or bad movie.
Mentality is also needed but the other most important thing is a healthy mindset because with a healthy mindset we can control ourselves better, what I have also said in this forum, let's just say that we pay the casino for fun games, not for paying the casino to get money, this mindset in gambling must be changed so that you don't think about winning targets when playing, believe me it will waste time and lead to addiction easily.

When gambling, you still have to be careful about limiting your budget if necessary to limit unnecessary expenses, because gambling requires you to have a certain budget so you don't exceed your limits, always use money that you can afford to lose or money that you don't use, if you use money for your living needs. obviously it is very wrong, you should not gamble using the money used for the necessities of life. use unused spare money would be better.

You can make a more specific framework, for example, tell yourself that now 3 percent of the total deposit for each weekend will go to gambling. And it doesn't matter if you win with this money or lose. If you win, the winnings will need to be returned to the deposit. You can also make yourself relaxed - on holidays, such as New Year or Birthday, you can increase the share allocated to games to 6 percent.

So gambling will be as controlled as possible, the main thing is to always stay within these limits.
