461  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تم تهكير محفظتي الإلكتريوم on: January 25, 2024, 07:59:13 AM

462  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Careful if you using Solflare Solana wallet on: January 24, 2024, 10:10:01 AM
Such scam may occur in all wallets, and I wish there was a dedicated filter to avoid this spam so that it hides any unwanted NFTs, but this type of fraud has begun to spread, and you can try the link yourself with an empty wallet and a small fee for gas if you want to be sure, but in general ignore any unknown codes that are sent to you.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The topic of Bitcoin's Achievement is charming on: January 24, 2024, 09:59:55 AM
Looking at Bitcoin's past should be used to formulate news and analysis and not to predict the future, as Bitcoin will not rise by +5.575% again in the near term. Many things have changed since 2013, and Bitcoin has become more influential and well-known than the Silk Road. Dark activities have decreased, and its use in speculation and as a long-term investment has increased. Therefore, perhaps we will see stability starting in 2050, and then we will look to the past (2023) and say that Bitcoin has changed completely.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaurd yourself this year against crypto scams on: January 24, 2024, 08:22:26 AM
Scammers will keep coming up with new rules, so following established methods may lead you to become the victim of a new scam. Therefore, the more skeptical you are, the rarely you try to take risks in something you do not understand, and the more you try to learn, the less likely you are to be deceived. Therefore, science, knowledge, skepticism, research and understanding anything. Before taking any action, these are necessary things to avoid scam.

Following fixed rules will not help you much.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin devs can undo 21M supply cap but can’t force changes on: January 24, 2024, 08:14:20 AM
Sometimes I feel like cointelegraph articles are written by artificial intelligence.
Anyone can change the total number of Bitcoins to more than 21 million, and this has already happened, but this requires a hard fork, and then the resulting new coin will not be in the name of Bitcoin and will not be of the same value, and most likely it will not have any value. The reason for this is that there are not 21 million Bitcoins, but ~ 2.1 quadrillion sats which is more than any fiat money.
466  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor's 3rd-Party Support Portal was Hacked on: January 24, 2024, 07:43:09 AM
Protonmail provides privacy features such as creating alias, verifying the link before receiving, and better filters for messages, so purchasing the paid service and using alias for each service will provide you with a good solution.

To my knowledge Trezor only holds onto customer ordering info for up to 30 or 90 days I can't remember which. I am curious to see what happens to their reputation if anything as a result of this hack. It appears that it was largely outside of their control seeing as one of their third party vendors was hacked and they were not directly hacked.
It is useless when your data may be shared with third parties. These third parties may have a different privacy policy and may keep your data for years, and there is no provision that requires Trezor to contact the third parties to delete your data within 90 days.
467  Other / Meta / Re: cls63 Merit Source Application on: January 24, 2024, 07:17:30 AM
Good luck with your application. It may take some time for you to be accepted, but I support it. The Turkish LB is one of the most active boards and definitely deserves more sources.
I will try to help by visiting your LB when I have a surplus of sMerits.
468  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ex7.io: Innovative Exchange Platform for Anonymous Cryptocurrency Transactions on: January 24, 2024, 06:57:08 AM
2. regarding our document, we posted it to fulfill the formal side so that we would have less questions from some authorities. We have accepted your criticism and removed the document so that it does not confuse you.

You do not need to tamper with regulatory restrictions. It is enough to write that KYC will be required for transactions above 10k USD or staying away from any transactions related to trading in cash/bank account and then you will not need to comply with legal legislation if the platform is outside the United States.

This is not the reason I do not trust your service, but more reasons, such as tracking customer data, recording keyboard, fake reviews, ..etc.

470  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tether Cryptocurrency Becoming ‘Preferred Choice’ Among Money Launderers on: January 23, 2024, 09:48:58 AM

XMR is not stable and is not pegged to the global currency which is USD that is why USDT is being used for illicit activities. Tether can freeze USDT only when authorities report it. Without any reporting, they don't freeze USDT and those criminals who are into money laundering are not some small-time thugs.
It is true that Tether does not freeze an address without a report from the authorities, but they can that. If I were a person who wanted to use the money for illegal activities, I would be careful not to possess large amounts of USDT, or at least transfer it as quickly as possible before it is frozen or[1].
In general, I do not expect Tether to take measures against regulations. As Tether works, it is easy to impose measures on it, such as forcing users to perform identity verification or forcing users to send to a specific address. These deposits cannot be accepted until after AML procedures

They should use DAI instead.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: In times of Crisis and uncertanities toilet paper can be new currency on: January 23, 2024, 09:38:48 AM
The currency begins to lose its value over time, and in some economies the collapse is hasty, but without knowing the cause of inflation, most likely, your measures to protect your money from a decline in its value may not give ideal solutions. One of the simple solutions is to buy Bitcoin or the dollar, while there are methods that differ depending on your country and the causes of inflation. In which.
In general, investing in goods and services that are easy to sell, and then quickly converting local money into dollars and purchasing products with it, is the common denominator for economic solutions.
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 23, 2024, 09:18:33 AM
Frankly, I feel that the shock comes from the fact that everyone was expecting the price to rise after the news of the ETF getting approval, or that the price would collapse if that approval was not obtained, but what happened is that the approval was obtained, and yet the price did not rise. The shock is more psychological than an analysis of the price.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 1st and 2nd version on: January 23, 2024, 08:24:32 AM
In response to your reply.  When you make assumptions about a person it's best to leave those unspoken or unwritten, because they are exactly just that "assumptions".  Especially if someone is just looking for help.  You're putting way to much thought into it, which can be expected in these forums. LOL I was simply asking if anyone knew if some of the original BTC wallets had login types instead of pass keys.
The oldest thing that contains BTC wallets that had login types instead of pass keys is Blockchain.com, but it did not exist in 2009 - 2010 in 2011, so why not do an image search for Bitcoin wallets, maybe you will remember the login interface.
What type of data do you have and when was it last modified? Is it account ID and password or what?
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the bitcoin Developers aside from satoshi on: January 23, 2024, 08:08:53 AM
I think that your question and the answers of others revolve around bitcoinCore, which we can say that the first developers were Satoshi and Martti Malmi, and after that the developers contributed to the open source code, which was not on github, but rather http://sourceforge.net.

Martti Malmi
 - Minimize to system tray option
 - Setup program for Windows
 - Linux version (tested on Ubuntu)
Satoshi Nakamoto
 - Multi-processor support for coin generation
 - Proxy support for use with TOR
 - Fixed some slowdowns in the initial block download

The rest of the developers came after that
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do exchanges work? on: January 23, 2024, 07:44:19 AM
My question is why is the rate higher on one exchange than on another?

Your definition of the word higher may give you a more accurate answer, as the price that appears on sites such as CMC[1] is an average price, each platform has a specific price for Bitcoin that varies every second with trading volumes, but most of these CEXs are around this average price, and the difference is usually between 1% and 2% in The best conditions are especially for Bitcoin due to its high liquidity, but you may get different prices in:

  - Buying Bitcoin from auctions: After Bitcoin is confiscated by governments, it is usually sold at a public auction. Prices are often slightly different from the price of Bitcoin according to the auction.
  - Buying from OTC: These are highly regulated markets and deals in them are worth millions or even billions of dollars.
  - Buying from P2P: Due to weak supply and demand, you may buy Bitcoin from a person or a P2P platform at a price that is different from the average price.

So, inside CEXs, the price may be different, but it is usually in the range of 1% and 2%, and liquidity may create some higher rates for some time, and outside CEXs, it may be different for above reasons.

Aside from your KYC/AML page, i also found out your main page load javascript from 2 different website which perform tracking. Those refer to Yandex Metrica and Google Tag Manager.

Not only that, but I found that the site records mouse movements and records all the clicks you make while opening the page, with false reviews ---> https://archive.is/YhDXm#selection-539.0-747.16, wrong KYC policies, and many other things. I decided to go with negative trust for this service.

Off-topic, @ABCbits only 2530 posts  Shocked Shocked It seems that you deleted a lot of posts. I hope the reason is for privacy.
477  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [UPDATE] Binance BTC Segwit wallet address changed on: January 22, 2024, 10:43:22 AM
This is the first time I have heard about TSS. They seem to be off-chain signatures, something like multiple signatures, but there is a threshold signing where the signatories cooperate to produce a single signature, or in simpler words, they are trying to decentralize their system. I just hope that we do not hear that binance hot wallets have been hacked, and this also necessarily means At some point, deposits to old addresses will be invalid, and fees may be charged to recover your coins, or you may not be able to do that so you must visit your account every few days and verify that the deposit address is still the same.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Rebound This Week on: January 22, 2024, 10:12:49 AM
Forecasting is short-term and within a week is difficult, especially with all the variables, but what is certain is that the probability of seeing levels above 50k seems less than in the past, so the possibility of stability or decline seems more likely, but the market is open to all possibilities.
You will find some technical analyzes that support this trend, but in general it is very difficult to make short-term predictions, so focus on a time range between 3 months to 6 months.
479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Opinions on Mexc GLobal on: January 22, 2024, 09:46:15 AM
Such exchanges start with no mandatory KYC, and then if there are trading volumes and exchange becomes large enough, it will ask users for mandatory KYC, and here it will give you one week to 6 months for withdrawing, or they will not find a sufficient number of users, and here it will either turn into scam or be closed.

In any case, Mexc GLobal is good if you want to make small exchanges between $10 and $1000, and I do not advise you to do more than that unless you are willing to complete identity verification (and here there are better alternatives).
480  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CryptoAIDev, promoting Shady AI seed finder and scam Binance pump signals on: January 22, 2024, 09:36:14 AM
I think that creating Flag would be appropriate, as there is a high possibility that you will be scammed when dealing with this account.
AI seed finder seems more like a scam than a shady service, and I think he's not the only account here.
