461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 13, 2023, 06:42:22 PM
India won every match. Indian players have also performed very well against teams that have qualified for the semi-finals. India won by a huge margin of 243 runs even against a big team like South Africa. Every batsman in the team is in very good form. The team is not dependent on any particular batsman. Also Mohammad Siraj, Shami and Bumrah are bowling brilliantly. The spin bowlers are also in good form. When every player in the team can perform well, it is not difficult for the team to win. There is no doubt that the New Zealand team is strong. However, the team's batsmen failed to consistently perform well. India has a squad worthy of winning the World Cup this year.
In these home conditions they are clearly set for the having third world cup into their pocket specially their wins against Australia and South Africa give them good advantage their all top order batsmen giving their best and having nothing to worry with bowlers combination is also deadly Mohammad Siraj and Jaspirat Bumrah and after these two Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja not allowing any team to stand against them.

Now after having 9 wins out of the 9 matches we can expect another two wins for them as well in big matches with Australian challenge is also surely look like not bad Maxwell done one of the best batting in this event and having first double century as well and after this we have another good inning from the Mitchel Marsh which play impressive knock of 175 against Bangladesh done good job on right time hopefully we will have good competition of the titans in these last few matches.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins Fake? on: November 13, 2023, 04:50:40 PM
Alt-coins are not fake and many alt-coins has been successful into cryptocurrency market which is quick profitable business when you invest on the right alt-coins at the right entry point, even Bitcoin as the king of all alt-coins started one day to trade and many people that seen the opportunity and refused to invest at early stage are regret it by now. Hence, information is very important when you take action to Archived it.
Well, you should change your way of thinking about cryptocurrencies and the market because it's not a get-rich-quick scheme, and even though some people might get significant profits from their investments, it doesn't necessarily have to happen with everyone and one should only aim for profits and not for getting rich by making small investments on different tokens and coins, especially if they are targeting new cryptocurrencies because of potential profits.

A lot of new investors make the mistake of investing their capital in newly launched projects just because they think they can get a lot of profit from those coins or tokens but eventually lose money in those projects. So, it's better to invest in projects that are trusted and already established, because getting less profits is better than losing the invested amount.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 13, 2023, 04:03:31 PM
Chelsea seem to have improved greatly, recently their performance and results are really impressive as compared to how they started the league earlier this season were they were having so much of inconsistency and we're loosing matching and appeared in a poor form.

Pochettino has once again proven thy all he need was just time and he would achieve much with Chelsea. With their recent performance we can say even if they don't eventually win the league title they will be able to qualify for UCL next seasons by finishing amongst the top four if only they can be consistent with their performance, Liverpool is one team Chelsea is yet to meet this season, hopefully whenever they actually meet they still put up a good performance because Liverpool has recently been really good in the premier league tho have Lost some matches
I am a real Blue, and I'm really happy with how we've been playing lately! We seem to be moving forward now that Pochettino is in charge. Seeing us hold our ground against Manchester City showed how tough we are. It's always been hard for us to play against good teams, and this is no different. It seems like we were a different team than earlier in the season based on how we played. If things keep going like this, I'm sure we can win not only the UCL spot but also the league title. When it comes to Liverpool, I'm sure we'll be just as fierce. All we need to do is keep going straight
There is no doubt Blues are changing even still need improvement but holding two top teams at home and having away win against Tottenham is surely indicating how things are going to change for them, and now they can do better in coming week's performance against Manchester City is impressive and the done good job in last few minutes which allow them to have one precious point from this match even still can't have chance for them to jump into top four, but now they are surely team to watch in coming rounds.

Now after break they are going to visit another team which is having not good season, but things are looking good for they both to give their best Pochettino is surely one of the best in business and his strategy is giving good reward, but it's still long run work for them to have best like they have done in past after having this mess-up which happen after the change of ownership in last season.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 13, 2023, 12:56:34 PM
imo, as long as you can cover your basic expenses plus a lil bit more, no debt, that's more than enough to say, you are financially stable or independent.
Financial stability and financial independence or freedom are two different things. When you are financially stable, it means that you have enough money to take care of the everyday needs of your household and maybe have some cash available at all times just in case you need money for something so that you don't need to ask someone else for money. You can cover everything independently because you are financially stable and have enough money for now.

Financial independence or financial freedom means to have enough wealth to do whatever you want in your life, without even worrying about working or doing anything because you already have businesses running and there is more money flowing in than being spent, you are not required to think twice before doing something that involves finances because you know you have enough for everything.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My trading method it works and it's easy on: November 11, 2023, 08:25:53 PM
So Im asking If anyone want to become special partner in our project or maybe can make donation to keep us going on this project then you can pm so i can give contact.
I do this with love !
Based on your title, it says that you've got a working and easy method. Why ask for donations to keep you going if you can make money from trading?

I think that's contradicting to what you're trying to prove and there is nothing new with these trading gurus saying that they've got all the best, working and profitable methods and strategies.

And yet, ask for some fees or donations. Make yourselves rich guys and prove people wrong for everyone to see that you're putting your money where your mouth is.
They ask donation, maybe because they want to earn more money? And this time in a passive way. It could work well as long as what he was telling there is true that his method really works.

Well, if you are one of those who tried it and earn huge amounts of money, will you still hesitate to donate the person that provides you the method for free? I guess no. But you are going to be willing, handing them a good portion of money as well. This also ensures a connection, that they might supply you another working strategy once the ones that they previously given are not working anymore. I'm sure it can happen because seeing many people earn, seems not right.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: November 11, 2023, 06:09:40 PM
There is no doubt about this statement by Elon Musk, We are already in the era of the fourth industrial revolution where we will have robots, algorithms, and drones take over most economies of the world especially most developed countries like the US,  UK,  France, and Germany. These AI are gonna take on human jobs because people will find it cheaper to pay those robots and they will even do better jobs than humans, people should start taking on skills that require only human knowledge, just imagine when self-driving cars will be fully rolled out, a lot of people will be displaced out of the workforce.
The world of generation is gradually switching from this generation to another generation, and AI is going to a level beyond imagination,  and a lot of countries that are improving in tech will be a serious boost to their economy because it is going to have a high demand, their have been so many innovation that have made the work of man easy, and look at drones they are even used in military operation and have successfully completed many,  so any tech company that can offer what the government needs then they will make good money. And that is the price that AI comes with their will be very low relevance for human jobs because AI is always their to do it better. And it is going to take time before AI is fully operational globally i just wonder what it will be for us.
I think the word generation can also mean majority? And I don't think the majority have switch to these latest technologies already. I still doubt it if all will convert in the future because they also know the consequences of doing so. I don't think the AI can always do better. They are only being programmed anyway. And just like any other programs that we see nowadays, they can also experience glitches, bugs, and the likes, after some time.

There are still people that will rescue them so that they can run better again. With this, we can say that we humans are still much superior to them, other than the fact that if without us they will never be invented.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if some country decides to pay pension to working population in bitcoin ? on: November 11, 2023, 05:39:39 AM
What percent of people will agree to getting pension in bitcoin in your opinion  ?
No one can answer this question because it depends on how many people who are about to retire know and admire Bitcoin and the technology to consider getting their pension in Bitcoin and are okay with the outcomes of that whether it will be positive or negative since Bitcoin is a volatile asset and it can go up and down any time and that can be both good and bad for those people.

What will be the benefits and limitations of this occurrence in long term on people and economy ?
It can have both pros and cons in the long term. People who are getting their pension in Bitcoin will need to make sure that when they are getting it, the market is in the right position for it, getting paid in Bitcoin during the bull run and then seeing your payment losing value as the market goes towards the bear run can be a bad experience, for sure.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities like swapping? on: November 10, 2023, 04:44:10 PM
So, what's your take on CEX platforms integrating DEX capabilities?
Well they can still do that right? But the only difference is the feature is known as dex but in reality the system is centralized. They can use that all they wanted but people wont be swayed by thinking its working as decentralized approach sicne they have total control over it. I think its business situated at all so I dont mind if they imitate or do the dex process.
I think you guys are taking it way too out of proportion here. There is no imitating in this, it's a feature that they could add for the convenience of their customers and so that their customers don't go somewhere else for the same thing and I don't see anything bad or wrong in that. After all, they are running an exchange and it's a business for them, they are providing their services to us and earning money in return for that, so they will try their best to provide us with everything that we might need while trading or involved with cryptocurrencies so that we use them only.

Decentralized exchanges didn't invent that feature, it's not like it's someone's idea that is being stolen, it's just a way of converting cryptocurrencies back and forth without having to go through the spot market and making a limited trade to get it done, it's much quicker and easier, and if they can provide the feature, I don't see why not.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting losses, Take a break and just focus on Bitcoin. on: November 09, 2023, 05:23:25 PM
Recently I was contacted by a trader friend, who told me that his trading position in futures was hit by Stop Loss. He played in altcoins, because Bitcoin has recently increased in value. My friend dared to take a long position in several altcoins with capital of $150, and after hitting a stop loss the remaining funds were $12.
I told him to stop and close the entire position he had just made. I want my friend to stop for a moment to calm his mind and emotions so as not to add to the existing losses.

And I suggest that if it starts again, it's best to just play Bitcoin and don't play with too many different types or play too many altcoins. I know that sometimes altcoins are able to provide greater profits than bitcoin when bitcoin experiences a 10 percent increase, but altcoins are also able to provide greater losses.
From what you've said about how he lost most of his investment and the way he used stop-loss, I believe he is new to trading, and futures trading isn't recommended for newbie traders since it carries a lot of risks. So the first thing you should tell him is to stop trading futures and start gathering more knowledge and experience about the market and how different cryptocurrencies move up and down, if he wants to keep trading in the meantime, he should do that on the spot market and trade coins that are less risky.

A trader who faces extreme losses has to take a break, evaluate their actions, find out their mistakes, and then rectify them so that they don't make the same mistakes again. They should practice their knowledge and see if their strategies and patterns are working or not, and once they feel that they are completely ready, they can start trading again.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 08, 2023, 08:30:30 PM
You can agree with me that some mistakes are inevitable, especially when you're not aware of something related to occur, they comes in as a result of what we do, we can try out our best in making sure that we deal with this by taking it to the minimal level, because some may actually cost us than we expect, but when we know what we are doing, we will always ensure we avoid having any kinds due to our own carelessness in what we do.
I agree. This is why we are advised to prepare and continue doing the known things that can help combat or at least lessen the effects of those mistakes. These types of mistakes are not related on what we are doing. Can't you see that we already did the right thing earlier? If some mistakes can cost us more, there are also positive results which are more than what we expect.

So, we shouldn't feel bad because we can still recover it all. When we know what we are doing, I wouldn't say that we are care less. Yet, like we said earlier, there are still mistakes that can come to us. I think they are naturally created for a reason so we should learn to get used to it.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating altcoin for business financing on: November 08, 2023, 06:45:15 PM
Your idea of using an altcoin to attract funding for a real business venture is interesting. It's indeed a creative way to address the funding challenges faced by businesses. Your background in finance can be valuable in this endeavor.

Creating an altcoin to represent ownership or investment in a real-world asset, such as a starch factory, is known as a security token offering (STO). These tokens are typically regulated by financial authorities to ensure investor protection. It's essential to consult with legal and financial experts who are well-versed in cryptocurrency regulations and STOs.

Building a starch factory is a substantial project, and using an altcoin for financing could be a viable option. However, you'll need to create a comprehensive business plan, including the technical aspects of token creation, regulatory compliance, and a clear value proposition for potential investors.

Your language skills shouldn't be a barrier; you can collaborate with experts who can assist in translating and communicating your ideas effectively.
AI-generated text spotted!  Roll Eyes You shouldn't wake a couple of months old thread that is currently inactive and use an AI-generated text as a reply to do whatever your aim is, there are more topics and threads that are active, engage with them, and try to write yourself, you won't get anything good out of the forum by posting AI-generated stuff.

To OP, I would suggest that you don't get into all this if you don't have prior experience and knowledge about how things work. Now with regulatory pressure all around the industry, it will be an headache for you to create, manage, and market your altcoin and then manage the regulatory matters along the way. Regulators are also not always in the favor of ICOs which is what you are basically looking to do since you are looking for funding for your business.

And, why do you think people invest in a token or even in a business? To get profit, obviously. So, how will you market your token? What will you tell the investors when they are buying your tokens about the future of the token? What after the funds have been used to start the business? How will that affect the token and its price?
472  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 08, 2023, 06:11:10 PM
Yeah, you heard me right. Today I was scrolling through some Instagram Reels and I saw a video of a person saying this. I'm still confused. Should I laugh or should I feel sorry for that person? So here's how the whole video goes. The man said and I quote" I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today. So you are saying that someone out there smells like my salary."
It's kind of funny but also sad at the same time. Where have we come today? There are people trying to live a normal life with what little amount they earn. And there are people using the same amount of money just to smell good.

I bring up this to talk about financial freedom. What is financial freedom to you? Is it about having a certain amount of money that is required to have financial freedom or to have an amount of money which can potentially give you freedom in the future?
Financial freedom in its actual meaning is to be able to do whatever you want in monetary terms, which means that you shouldn't be unable to do something just because you don't have enough money to do it, other problems and hurdles are a different topic, but if you know you have the money to achieve what you want, you have financial freedom. There is one more thing that is also important in this, after doing whatever you want, you shouldn't have to compromise on something else in your life, which means that you should have enough wealth to do everything you want and still have more than enough left behind.

I know that a lot of people would have different definitions for the term but the actual definition is what I've described above. Being satisfied and happy with what you have isn't being financially free, having enough money to eat good food twice a week, or buy branded clothes doesn't mean you have financial freedom, these are things that are easily achievable by someone having an average paying job, but financial freedom isn't easily achievable.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not Lose Everything Youve Gained in One day, or One Trade on: November 08, 2023, 05:51:20 PM
The worst mistake one can make as a trader is chasing the market to recover losses, If you lose a trade, learn from it and take it as your fault.
It's called revenge trading. I've yet to see anyone who chases the market to recover their losses and does it successfully. One may be lucky with a few wins chasing the market but ultimately one will lose out at the end if one makes it a way of trading. It's better to let the loss go and then crosscheck to find out why one lost for future trades. Unfortunately, many of us don't learn this from others mistakes until it happens to us. Just like you, I've also been a victim of this. Also just like many others reading this now, they won't take precaution of this until they experience it firsthand.
It's trading, not gambling, and there is no point in chasing the market just to recover the losses, even in gambling when someone tries to do that, they tend to lose all their bankroll. When it comes to trading, it's knowledge and experience that matter, and if one loses a trade even if they are knowledgeable and experienced about the market, they shouldn't take it on their ego and start making reckless trades just to recover that loss as quickly as possible because that will surely cause then more losses.

When you know what you are doing, a single trade cannot stop you from becoming profitable at the end of the day. If you are making a total of 10 trades per week and getting profit in 8 out of them, you will still be profitable despite the lost trades. So, as a trader, one should look at the longer picture.
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betfury will not pay the promised bounty for bugs found on: November 07, 2023, 05:23:02 PM
I no longer expect a positive decision in my favor regarding the case. Let the topic remain and people continue to discuss it. We could have found a solution to the situation from the very beginning and everyone would have remained in a situation beneficial to him, but alas, betfury is principled. I also wrote a review on truspilot. By the way, betfury has a lot of recent negative reviews in trustpilot with a minimum rating of 1.
I am not sure if TrustPilot reviews would affect them or not since most people know that the reviews and the trust score on TrustPilot are easily manipulated by competitors or even users that rage and become angry after losing money. So maybe you should try something else, maybe open a Scam Accusation thread in this forum and see if that helps your cause in any way. I don't know what's wrong in all this but if you actually found a bug and they had a bug bounty, they should have given you the bounty for doing that instead of dragging it this much.

However, we can't say anything or make any judgements considering the fact that we have only heard or seen one side of the story and they are yet to make an appearance and explain themselves for this, that is when we can reach a conclusion about who is right and who is wrong, we can only wait for now, I guess.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I have 1BTC So how did I use to invest in different Coins on: November 07, 2023, 02:54:45 PM
Having 1BTC out of the whole 21 million coins is the dream of every cryptocurrency investor, so why plan investing in different coins when you can just hold a signed coin that outshines every other cryptocurrency in the market?
Though it's not necessary if you are holding Bitcoins, he is probably looking to diversify his portfolio by adding different altcoins alongside Bitcoin. Most people do that because of the growth potential different cryptocurrencies carry which means that ETH might be able to have a higher growth percentage compared to Bitcoin during the bull run, which means if you have $100 invested in BTC and $100 in ETH, by the time you sell them both, if you get $400 from BTC, you might get $600 or more from your investment in ETH.

However, I think that one should try and gather some extra money and use that for altcoin investments instead of selling Bitcoins and using the money for buying altcoins since Bitcoin is also going to go up for the market to go up, and when that happens, you will already get good returns on your Bitcoin holdings.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 06, 2023, 05:15:43 PM
I don't understand why bookmakers give such high odds for Spurs to win - 2.3... Maybe I don't know something, but I bet that Spurs will win... Chelsea have a lot of problems and this is not the team that can win the leader of the standings in an away game...
It's natural that the bookie gives high odds to Spurs because currently the EPL league team that has never lost is Tottenham. Apart from that, Chelsea have not found a solid playing rhythm, Chelsea's away game is also quite bad. While Chelsea was trained by coach Pochettino, he was still inconsistent. Just look at the EPL league this season, Chelsea have only managed three wins from ten matches, even last week Chelsea were humiliated by Brentford 0-2 at home. If you want to win then bet on Totteham.
Even I agreed about this all with rivalry between these two London based clubs are also very interesting and in last few matches Chelsea have good record against Tottenham as well which is making bookmakers to keep odds at this level because they are feeling something can happen which we have already in many matches in this round with Liverpool held by Luton and Arsenal lost against Newcastle United and many other teams are also having fallen down.

Chelsea recent record is not good as they lost against Brentford at home and also having draw against Arsenal, but their away record is good with two wins and one draw which is good and with this all we can expect some improvement in this match which can make life tough for the Tottenham which needs to win this match for staying at the top of the league table.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: November 06, 2023, 04:11:31 PM
I think there's a huge dump when the price hit $90k because of the idea that there will be panic selling when it reaches $100k resulting to a massive unfilled orders.
You don't call that panic selling but it is called take-profit because panic selling is when the market is dropping and people think that it will drop more and they need to sell so that their investments don't lose value, but if Bitcoin reaches that height and people start selling, it will only be so that they can take as much profit as possible before the market starts declining which no one would want to see but once a very large percentage of holders start taking profit, the market will surely start declining due to that.

I believe even $90k wouldn't be a bad price for anyone to sell even if they have bought their assets at around $50k because it's not always important to get multiple folds of profit and you will have to settle for less sometimes so you don't start losing the profits that your assets have already gained.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to tell what address is on what Network on: November 06, 2023, 11:16:41 AM
Hi Can you tell from a wallet address what network it is on?

Is there a difference between the Ethereum Network and the BNB Network,  if so how can you tell?
Based on the prefixes of address. I am familiar with L1 and if its looks like eth then its likely from group of L1 networks like avalanche, fantom, bsc, polygon, arbitrum, optimism, and many more that uses that kind of address. Of course if its a coin with own chain its quite different from normal L1 project. Cosmos on the other hand have unique per blockchain but usually tip with start of the name of the tokens, like celestia with ces*** like sei network with sei*** something like that.
I think he is not referring to the L1, L2, and so on network but I think the network he is up to are the ETH, BNB, and other cryptos, according on what we said on his posts. Now on your comment about prefixes, I too can differentiate something but not it's not if what L's network is it but it's about if the address is SegWit, or Legacy. Yes this was about Bitcoin I'm referring to. It's interesting that some crypto or network has their own unique prefixes or addresses.

@OP, what I usually do to know it, is I paste the address on different crypto block explorer websites. They do have a big search box there. If there are results shown, well congrats, you just find out that the address is also from that network/crypto.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Using a Credit Card Demonstrate Financial Literacy? on: November 05, 2023, 06:06:14 PM
I don't have credit card but I use pay later services on ecom sites because with this payment method returns are faster, I pay the accured amount before the due date, it increases my credit score which is extra bonus, I find nothing wrong with it despite in past myself despising credit cards.

Whether literate or otherwise, credit cards are fine as long you pay on time. It might be hard to do so for CC addicts, hence may be financial advisors recommend using cash for payments.
It depends on how much self-control one has if they have a credit card because lack of patience and self-control can make people do things that they might regret later but since the credit card allows them, they go with it. Things like gambling or buying things that aren't necessary and are expensive must not be done with credit cards because if you are using cash, you won't be able to do that once you are out of cash, but with a credit card, you are allowed to do anything to a certain limit because the bank or credit card company will get fees, interests, and taxes in return for that and they wouldn't want you to stop.

So a person who knows their nature and understands that they don't have self-control and can't be careful with their purchases or if they are addicted to gambling should avoid having a credit card and should only use cash for payments where needed so that they only spend what they own.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No advertisement for btc on: November 05, 2023, 09:48:12 AM
I was just reading this post and thought crossed in my mind that there has been no advertisement for Bitcoin. It's all growth has been natural, it's quite surprising if you think about it.
There was this forum that had people in it to whom it was announced and that is also a form of advertisement, it doesn't necessarily have to be a paid advertising campaign or running ads on TV or buying billboard spaces just to let people know about it. People who were involved in the creation and announcement process knew that it would eventually spread all around the world so they didn't need to market it, besides, people do marketing for things that they create for money, Satoshi and his colleagues and helpers didn't create Bitcoin to earn money through it.

Some people, like Hal Finney, were also active on social media platforms such as Twitter at that time and they used to post updates about it publicly, so the word spread little by little and that's the reason why it took so much time for adoption to reach this place or we would have had a price higher than this in the past if there was paid advertisement done just to let people know about it.
