461  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 4.8.0: GBT+Stratum, RPC, Mac/Linux/Win64, CoinTerra, Tube/T1, Benchmark on: September 19, 2014, 02:54:40 AM
I have a question on the ASICMiner Tube and Rockminer T1.
How are you connecting it to the computer to run them from BFGminer?
I know we are looking into to RPi support and there are some different ways to connect them as they do not have a USB port.

Nothing here either but I know it is like the lottery.

Yeah I have around 3MIL and don't get that kind of payout daily.
Anybody else using reddcoin-qt v1.3.1.2 and actually receiving any staking income?  I have been staking 24/7 on this version of my wallet since 9/7 and still have yet to receive a single payout :/
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera v0.3.5] Your next mining dashboard is here. CPUminer/CGminer/BFGminer. on: September 17, 2014, 03:39:29 AM
I would use a separate RPi for the Hurricane.

I've been running 6 gridseeds (5.2mhs each)now for months @ a clock of 838 and the run flawless on minera..
just got my ZeusMiner Hurricane X3 (15mhs) and I was wondering if it possible to run
the 6 Gridseeds and a Zeus Hurricane x3 on the same RPi using Minera?
or should I just get another RPi for the Hurricane?

Thanks..

I know and another one shortly after this.
The first event went well in the UK and we should hear about the one in the AU soon.
It is a good thing and helping people is great.

After all the hold up we should be on usecryptos with in 2 weeks. This is exciting.

Just download and sync.
It works well so far.
I was also able to import the key from a messed up qt wallet I was using and recover my coins.

It is the Social Wallet.
It has some fun features I am just exploring now.
The wallet is right on the Reddcoin website.  Smiley

Yes I understand that from some other coins that do it as well.
It is a great feature indeed.  Cool
Is this normal though it has been running nonstop.  Still not staking the other wallet before it messed up would say staking after it sync'd.

What wallet is this?  I like that it shows the conversion rates and estimated value right on it.  Its the first I've ever seen anything like this.
Its great I want to ask its ready for explore or need any updates I also want to download this for RDD

Now this is a great resource.
Great work.  Cool

That is great news Terk.
LTC payouts will help strengthen the whole Scrypt ecosystem.
We need to keep publishing lists of where LTC and other alt-coins can be used.  The more they get used the better the value they will hold.

Just a really quick question. I wanted to have 2 workers mining here how do I go about that on one address. I currently put one worker on the eu server and the other one us server I assume that they payouts wont be effected using different servers.

Secondly great job with that widget I will take look at the app.

Also is there a way we can get an option for converting to ltc instead of btc. I believe the price of ltc has declined due to everyone wanting to convert to btc and not ltc if a user has that option for his account it will be great to have.

You can put as many different miners under one address and everything will work just fine. There will be one payout for all of them, regardless of which server they connect to (they can connect to the same server or to different servers). The only drawback is that you won't have separate stats for individual miners/workers.

LTC payouts is something very high on my todo list but it requires significant changes in how the pool does trading and accounting. I plan to do a major overhaul in this area in October and when it's done, both of two most wanted features should be available - ability to use worker name alongside with username to get separate stats for individual miners and LTC payouts.

They are legit Hashlets that were sold in a limited run to commemorate 9/11.
Pretty neat.

Awesome.  Now we've moved on to discussing freaking cloud mining in a "Pictures of your mining rigs!" thread.   Roll Eyes

I support this. There are other threads for cloud mining. Keep it to the subject. I want to see mining p0rn!

sorry this is all the mining pornz i haz now...i've posted everything else i have Tongue happy now?

Thats a great Hashlet (Hamashlet)
Paint?
471  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: September 15, 2014, 03:39:58 PM
Coindesk is biased to who pays them.
Their business model depends on it.
They also do not fact check worth a dam either.
Hence the article that was a copy pasted blog post that they only acknowledged after the community as a whole called them out for it.
They need to be much more clear in how they write their articles when they do them.

Maybe Sponds PR or sales department should correct these guys:
http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-mining-can-longer-ignore-moores-law/

ridiculous : S3 posted as 3Th, BTC garden at 3.5Th, Spond is NOT there at 4.5 TH (real machine) and some stupid minerscube is indicated at 8.5 Th (I don't think that it is real-sounds scammy)
Thanks, I've alerted Coindesk.

Thanks I just worked on getting the cables in order on that rack.
Under the BitCrane is a BTC Garden V1 X2 x2.
I will have a review of it going live next week. :-)

You gotta nice setup Mane. Got a little bit of everything. What is the unit under the Bitcrane?

476  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ROCKMINER ASIC miner official thread on: September 12, 2014, 05:37:27 AM
I am running them on MinePeon on a Raspberry Pi using BFG miner and getting about 110 gh/s.
I will have a review up soon with more details.

It is fairly quiet.  Not quite as quiet at the R-Box but still nice and low.

Thanks!  Are you running it with BFG or CGminer?  I'm wondering if it works with the same driver as the previous generation did...

477  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: btcgarden-AM-v1 down to $0.68/GHs. In stock for international selling! on: September 12, 2014, 03:17:23 AM
btcgarden_miner if you see this can you see if you can work with Nwoolls so we can have more tools with which to monitor and use your miners??
The last firmware was nice add this in it will be even better.
Thanks again for the work on this Nate.

Is there any new firmware for the BTC Gardens yet?
The last I have it 7-19 and while it is ok it is still buggy.
The API is messed up as well as programs like MultiMiner can find them but they show as idle when they are running fine.

We use Awesomeminer - picks them right up and doesnt seem to have any issues.

While having the support of a single closed-source miner is cool, I'd love to support them in MultiMiner and MobileMiner as well. They use the documented CGMiner RPC API and the BTC Garden ASICs are the first to have any issue. I've already contacted the manufactures with no luck.

If there's anything you can do to help that would be great. Again I'd love to support them in my apps. You can PM me or email me at nwoolls @ gmail

Hello, I have looked into this further and the issue is that BTC Gardens ASICs reply to the DEVS RPC API call with the following:

Code:
pi@raspberrypi ~ $ echo -n "devs" | netcat W.X.Y.Z 4028
STATUS=E,When=1410482156,Code=10,Msg=No ,Description=cgminer 4.3.3|

The Code=10 above means that the BTC Gardens fork of CGMiner is returning No Devices when asked:

https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/api.c#L314

Until / unless this is fixed, BTC Gardens ASICs will continue to have issues with any monitoring systems that use the DEVS RPC API call.

Does anyone have one of the new R-Box 100GHs up and running?  How is the noise level compared to the first R-Box?

479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The First Litecoin PPS Pool (litecoinpool.org) on: September 11, 2014, 11:47:10 PM
Great deal thanks!!

Merged mining has started and is proceeding smoothly. We have already found our first Dogecoin block!
The PPS ratio is currently 125%, meaning that miners earn 25% more than with a 0-fee PPS system. Enjoy the extra rewards! Smiley

I am looking forward to seeing what you can do with it.
I hear they are quiet?
Og forgot to send me all the pics and info when he first got them.

Hey Og, just a note: I am now a Monarch owner and am fiddling with the thing in this thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=759398.new#new

It's kind of cool actually. Feel free to drop in.
