463  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitbond (amazingrando) on: March 17, 2013, 11:07:13 AM
amazingrando got scammer tag.

I think, since he got tagged "scammer", he doesn't have to fear, here after.
Coz so far not many scammers gave back coins & removed the scammer tag.
1 or 2 somewhat did good, even though its not full, example - nefario giving back coins & assets.

The shutdown of GLBSE by nefario, actually showed the true face of many asset creators/owners ugly face.
464  Local / Mining (India) / Re: [WTS] 5870 Graphic cards & other hardwares on: March 16, 2013, 07:55:08 PM
True, but you also need to look at long term sustainability and nothing provides as much as Bitcoin in the long run.

Can you explain it?
I want to sell the hardwares i have, coz i cant mine.
Since i am senior member & i am here for long time, i must not sell my hardwares?
465  Local / Mining (India) / Re: [WTS] 5870 Graphic cards & other hardwares on: March 16, 2013, 06:47:37 PM
So, since most of these numbers dont make sense of profitability, can you help individual indians who want to invest?
I dont understand what u asking.
You cant get profitability by mining & selling today itself.
Until a month before the price of 1 btc was 20 usd, now 47 usd & reach 50 usd soon.
You cant grow a tree from seed with in a day & expect ripened fruit next day.
466  Local / Mining (India) / Re: [WTS] 5870 Graphic cards & other hardwares on: March 16, 2013, 08:53:02 AM
50btc.com, deepbit.net , says with a 410Mh/s mining power, 0.04 BTC per 24 hours.
At today's btc/usd price, 0.04 btc gives 0.04*46.5= 1.86 USD per 24 hours.

litecoinpool.org/calc, http://coinotron.com says with a 400Mh/s mining power, 4.7 LTC per 24 hours.
https://btc-e.com/exchange/ltc_usd
At today's price 4.7 LTC gives 4.7*0.64 = 3 USD per 24 hours

You can see how much hashing a graphic card do for litecoin in the below link.
https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparison

It depends on OS, overclocking & many other things.
With a 5870 graphic card, i can able to mine BITCOINS at 410+ Mhash/second , in a widows 7, 64 bit OS, with aero & all graphics effects enabled.
With a 5870 graphic card, i can able to mine LITECOINS at 402 Mhash/secong, in the same system.

Already mining bitcoin using graphics card becomes not profitable due to huge mining powers & bASIC, FPGA, abcd.....
Litecoin mining is profitable now.

Hundreds & thousands of graphics card used to mine bitcoins by early miners with heavy investments.
They wont let go their hardwares, investments, mining nothing once ASIC occupies bitcoin mining.
Already litecoin is growing.
If litecoin dont get attraction then another alternative coin will come to mine with graphics cards.

Graphics card will be used to mine ANY coins until they die.

sorry if its been asked before but a lot of pages to check through.
I set up reaper to mine using my GPU with litecoinpool.org
Setting in reapers config are this
Quote
host litecoinpool.org
port 9332
user XXXX
pass XXXX

protocol litecoin

worksize 256
aggression 318
threads_per_gpu 1
sharethreads 20
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 21572
It appears to connect but then just idles away receiving no shares the line it shows is like this
Quote
Got LP9.1GH/s, shares 0:0, stale 0%, `o kH/s, 332s
I have left it for 30+ minutes to return to lines and lines of this.
Any help is appreciated I can't tell if its the miner, the pool or me being dumb  Undecided

I use the following to mine using my 5870 card

Code:
protocol litecoin

worksize 128
aggression 16
threads_per_gpu 1
sharethreads 18
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 6144

I think, aggression 318 is impossible

Edited OP.

Coming to Bangalore & giving demo is not possible for me.
1 PSU itself weighs 4.5 Kilogram.
Besides its not like laptop or mobile(a complete finished product) to carry easily every where you go.

Its computer parts, without cabinets, and it cant be put in ready made cabinets easily.
The motherboard is XL-ATX Form Factor, 32.5cm X 24.4cm.
Those who buy, needs to assemble the parts to make it working, same as assembled computer.

A normal DESKTOP computer branded or assembled with 1 or 2 graphics card can be used for HEAVY GAMING.
A branded DESKTOP computer with 2 graphics card will cost at least 1 lakh INR.

I can send parts in professional courier, But that means i have to get cash before sending parts or an escrow needed.
Due to the unimaginable numbers of scams happening, its not easy for me to trust a random person.
Thats why asked to come & get.

If someone is there, who believes me, after price negotiation, deposit money to my bank account or send bitcoins first & i send parts in courier.

Also, i am ready to sell in parts also, instead of all/whole.
Like 1 graphic card, one PSU.........

I try to add pics or videos later.

I found this on https://cryptostocks.com/securities/29

He just waiting for 06 dec 2013, so that all bonds expire & he don't have to pay any one anything.

It seems mods encouraging amazingrando to scam, by not giving scammer tag.

Sorry I can't help. But you mine on a Galaxy? Isn't that a tablet/phone? How fast does it go?
Yeah the ASIC MiniRig will be using an ASUS Nexus7 (I have a Nexus7 already given to me by BFL while I was there)
I also have a Samsung Galaxy S III (free with my contract renewal on my phone a week before I went to BFL)
So yeah I'll be messing with testing cgminer on android soon ... and hoping at least the Nexus7 can handle 1.5TH/s ... so a GSIII 'should' handle an FPGA or a Single ASIC easily enough Smiley
"George" at BFL of course is the one doing it - but I'll try getting it to work on the command line on the Nexus7 (and my phone) myself as well once we have some ASIC hardware and cgminer working with it.
ckolivas current git (and mine also - but nothing extra in my git at the moment) are all the new USB code with hotplug etc.
Mining in mobile, tablet?
My head spinning.

From when you getting this error?
You remember installing or uninstalling any other softwares before or after getting error?
Maybe some VC++ or .net framework packages broken.

473  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: March 07, 2013, 10:22:41 AM
105 pages, it's time for a short recap:

1) Gigamining private placement followed by IPO - huge pile of shares sold to "miner" wannabees at huge markup. (no ID required, perpetual happiness is promised)
2) Gigamining selles more shares, biggest on GLBSE (still no ID required, perpetual happiness is promised)
3) Diff is stable,e everyone is happy - more coin to Gigamining (ID required? Hell NO! Perpetual happiness is promised)
4) BTC recovers from a another massive fuck up and difficulty starts to rise
5) perpetual mining bonds turn to "turds" but Gigamining manages to be so-so investment, although never reaches the promised Mh/s
6) gigavps comes up with a new plan to milk those "miner" wannabees - Terahash - still no ID nor notarized papers required.
7) forum readers do some math and realize, thy are getting fucked AGAIN!
Cool teramining proposal is changed to less expensive. gigavps ads "take it or lose everything" to the mix  - Guess what! No ID required!
9) gigavps never reaches the total Mh/s but pays the divs... GLBSE closes down and saves gigavps
10) gigavps adds a cherry to this turd and changes the contract with out ANY option to get out. ID REQUIRED! Everyone, who refuses or who finds it too expensive to send him notarized papers gets fucked - gigavps keeps all the shares and earned dividends for himself.

Did I miss anything?

Didn't he also lend out a ton of shares at a discounted price to be shorted, causing the share price to get cut in 1/2 while it was at it's peak?

Out of the 16 gigamining shares i have, I bought 12 shares for 1.6btc/share.
Then share value came down to 1btc - 0.9 /share.

Regarding dividends for the period between GLBSE closure and now, the plan is still evolving.  The vast majority of bonds (85%) are held by a small group of investors.  Their buy-in of bonds came with additional requirements and legal contracts that have required that I pay their payouts before other parties.  They have been paid all coupon payments going back to the GLBSE closure.

For those of you who constitute the remaining 15%, the earnings from GLBSE closure is not lost.  I am working on a plan that will give you a few options including payouts, buyback, and ASIC upgrade.  I hope to share details of that this weekend.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=75126.msg1419472#msg1419472

Regarding coupon payments since GLBSE closed, 85% has been paid to the largest investors (working from largest bondholder down).  I would like to be able to pay the remaining 15% immediately, but doing so would mean canceling our ASIC pre-order and losing the pre-order slot.

I just came to know that theymos didn't aware of bitbond scams.
Due to lots of scams happening, its possible for any one to miss 1 or 2 scams.

I PMed theymos with some of bitbond posts & i cant able to find the Original posts which pin points what amazingrando did/doing.
If anyone can make brief report with amazingrando posts, please PM it to theymos.

I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO GET NOTARIZATION AND APOSTILLE.

@theymos
When GLBSE want to go public LEGALLY, you tried to sell your GLBSE shares & don't want go LEGALLY.

If you have the right to sell off your shares, why the hell gigamining investors don't have the option to sell their shares when gigamining wants to go LEGALLY?

THEYMOS ARE YOU MAINTAINING DOUBLE STANDARDS?
477  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: March 05, 2013, 03:54:42 PM
I am very serious.

@thymos, mods, admins
What is the qualification needed to get scammer tag?
Why even though every one knows what gigavps doing is wrong, FOR WHAT MODS WAITING FOR?

MODS, CAN YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENING WITH GIGAVPS?
478  Economy / Services / Re: Gigamining / Teramining on: March 05, 2013, 11:57:06 AM
I don't want to continue business with you, gigavps/james.
Take back my shares & give me refund.

I don't want to travel with you on your GREEDY journey of cheating others, to suck money.

As the first Bitcoin mining company owner, which went publicly, in the name of DISHWARA, I proved, I am genuine to this community.
I paid WEEKLY DIVIDENDS for DISHWARA shares & when i can't able to pay dividend, i shut down "DISHWARA" properly.
I bought back my(DISHWARA) shares & everyone went happy.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5750.msg104953#msg104953

So far with your actions you proved to be a cheat.

Just refund & finish it off.
You already have my Bitcoin address & email address from GLBSE.

A bug was found and fixed today. This bug possibly caused mining problems for some users since 22-23.03.2013, so now things may get better if you were affected.
Today is 05.03.2013 only.
