So you're not interested in any S5+ boards? I have a couple of non-working ones that I can donate to your cause.

could be the gear one of my 5 s9's is down will check on it today The controller is dead and it is a june 14th miner so it is out of warranty. Sooo very tired of these miners. [/quote] Wow so what's that 3 out of 5 S9 that you have had problems? That's definitely not a good record. Sorry to hear about all the troubles.

Antminer S1 is still me favorite Antminer.
s1's were great reliable miners , im still partial to the 12 s2's i still have running to this day they have been on 24/7/365 for a long long time , only reapirs on them have been regular cleaning and a few psu fans have needed replaced that being said all my s1/s2/s3 miners have been the most trouble free miners i have ever had , seems like quality started to take a turn at the s4 I agree with the S2! I had only the 2x front case fans replaced since one of them failed. I used 2x Arctic F14 PWM and saved 1x original fan as a spare part. I sold it few months ago to a guy in Helsinki. Here are some pics in memory of my Ant S2 (batch 4) the day before it was sold (click for bigger pictures): Ant S1 still going strong with the 3D printed frame parts (I made them for fun and for possible boards of sidehack's community miner project):I have to put it to sleep again though when I receive my new S9. It's just pointed as a lottery ticket to the solo.ckpool. Speaking of S2's here's my rock solid S2. Notice the uptime.

It is a way for them to make more money, but I think with mining margins so low you take what you can get and this is better for people in the US rather than buying direct from the factory. Also makes you torn. If you get the extended warranty do you hope that the gear doesn't break and you just spent the extra money or do you hope for it to break after the initial 90 days so that you can save even more money only having to ship it back domestically rather than internationally.

Reasonable offers. That douche up top offered me .3 per LN shipped to NJ. Is it really necessary to resort to name calling? If you don't like the offer just simply decline it or if you don't want people to send you offers list your asking prices. Grow up.

Where are you shipping from? I may be interested in the S7-LNs

Thanks for all the fun running this thread Phil. It's been really fun unfortunately this spike isn't fun. I'm really surprised it's spiking up so high. Goes to show how volatile this is and how little I know.

From what I understand they are 7 pairs of connectors so each one is split. So depending how long the splits are, is there enough slack to run two R4's? If each R4 uses 7 PCIe connectors then one pair has to be split between two R4's and if the splits aren't long enough there might not be enough slack to connect one pair to two different miners without some kind of extension. It certainly doesn't look like you can stack these R4's. I guess you could use the extension on the pair that powers the control board and fans.

Posting on page 1000 was something I wanted to do.
@ kano
WTF is the fubly project prior to the one he is working on for the s-9?
You got a link?
I want to post on the 1000th page also!

I still think that the best thing for bitcoin developers is to go back to the drawing board to GET RID of ASICs altogether and either develop around plentiful GPUs that are pretty much a commodity OR make a node-based POS scheme which alts are toying with. The first option is much more preferable to me.
Barring this , the conversation goes like this:
Miners: Can we get a 1 year (REAL) warranty? BMT: No, but you can pay for the unit that will breakeven in 350-400 days (it is so pretty and quiet; your cat can doze off on the top of it).
BMT: But if your cat dozes off on it, that will void your warranty. Thank you come again.

Sadly this is way over priced for me. I would've considered it at $1000 just to play with it but not at this price.

Seems interesting to me. I liked the S7-LN miner aside from the crappy used S2 power supply that they included with it. At least with this one you can get it without a PSU and run your own PSU. At 8.6th and 0.098 j/gh we're at about 850w plus the controller and no idea what their fan uses. I'm guessing 4 PCIe plugs plus one for the controller board. A 52 db 8.6th miner sounds great to me assuming the price is reasonable. Unfortunately with zero competition I'm guessing the price is going to be to high for me.
$300 for a 2600w PSU sounds great, but for those without 220v and stuck on 110v, $300 for a 1300w PSU isn't that great.

Are you looking to sell as a whole package or are you willing to break them up at this point?

Thanks again for running this Phil.
