461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin ETF is not Approved on: December 29, 2023, 09:44:13 PM
We still don't hold guarantees that bitcoin ETF will gain approval this time. It could be approved, or it could not. And the only possibility to happen if its not going to work this time is most probably we will see bitcoin price in a sudden decline. If ETF fake news approval has made an instant price surge, then most likely we will see the opposite when ETF approval gone wrong. However, this is just my personal point of view. No one actually knows what's going to happen if ever bitcoin ETF approval will not happen this time.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 29, 2023, 02:48:30 PM
For the betterment of their current campaign, I think Mikey can help them, but in terms of long-term relationships, it's not good to sign him back, they are just showing him that he can do whatever he wants. TNT or PBA should take things the right way. We all know what he did and how he disrespected the franchise. Now that he has decided to play back, is it just so easy for him?
That's how it is man, Mikey were able to play his card well, so he won. I would not even be surprise if TNT sign him with a good contract because it seems like the Mikey benefited on the current situation of TNT where they lose some star players, especially the import.

Once a contract is signed, we can pressume it's short term, it should be a long term like other standard contract in the PBA.

TNT can take this season as not for them, and re-group again next season or enter a trade that will give them players who can help them, though it's always the team owner's decision if MVP decides to re-hire him, it will be a safe comeback for Mikey for sure.

I don't know, but I have a feeling that they don't want to waste the talent of Mikey, and they believe he is very vital for the team's success, that's why they are gambling, talking to him and maybe sign him soon.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao - Buakaw Banchamek Apr. 20 in Bangkok Updating on: December 29, 2023, 02:22:46 PM
This is a very risky and dangerous fight for Pacquiao Buakaw is such a dangerous fighter during his time I have read nes about how great he was but checking his fight highlights I come to realize he is a very dangerous Muay Thai boxer, hopefully, both fighters will look at each other as this is an exhibition match

I have seen his highlights even before this fight was announce, and I can tell that he is really good with his sport. However, I believe this exhibition fight is in boxing, so I don't think it's dangerous for Pacman because it's the field of Pacman where he excel much, it should be the other way around, and Buakaw should be careful here since he'll be fighting a living legend, the only 8th division world champion.

464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 29, 2023, 01:07:13 PM

Tomorrow I will be betting on the Pacers vs Bulls over 241, Wolves -9.5, Memphis +7 and Lakers -13.

Very bad day for me, I only hit 1 out of 4 bets. I don't get what Wolves can't dominate the Luka-less Dallas Mavericks.  It was suppose to give me an even day. Anyway, I guess moving forward is the only solution here, so I'll be betting for the games tomorrow.

NY Knicks ML @ Orlando Magic
Atlanta ML vs Sacramento Kings
Toronto +8.5 @  Boston Celtics
465  Economy / Economics / Re: The power of investment choices on: December 28, 2023, 08:54:47 PM
In traditional ways, if you invest small, you earn small too; if you invest big, you also earn a big profit. Now in the application here in cryptocurrency, or Bitcoin, can it be the same as the traditional business, and at the same time, with a small amount of capital, we can also earn a lot in the future?

This is what makes Bitcoin or cryptocurrency different from traditional business, but it depends on whether the crypto we choose is the right one that can really provide potential profit to investors in this field.
In cryptocurrency, investing in huge amount does not guarantee high profitability most especially if you are in the process of learning which coins to invest. However, buying at a small amount can still guarantee future big profits if you decide to insert DCA on your purchasing activity, that is if you do it consistently with your bitcoin investment.

Knowledge and experience greatly matter, as well as patience and persistency. If you invest just because of your greed, believe me, you will never be successful and will only be susceptible to losses in the long run.

Tomorrow I will be betting on the Pacers vs Bulls over 241, Wolves -9.5, Memphis +7 and Lakers -13.

I like the Wolves -95. and the Lakers -13. I think these two heavy favorites would win and cover the spread, especially for the Wolves since they will be playing the Dallas Mavericks who are on their back to back game and came from a very disappointing loss.
Dallas will be playing 3 games in 4 nights. In addition, they need to travel, so I see the fatigue factor here is a big advantage for the Wolves which are a well rested team. I understand why the spread are high, but at the same time I didn't doubt on taking this.

For the Lakers, yes, they badly need a win here as they are struggling on the recent games. Going back to the winning path is necessary and I'm sure at home where they have a good record, they'll be able to dominate Charlotte who are only 1-9 on the last 10.

It's almost automatic that the Lakers will win. However, question is if they would be able to cover the spread, hopefully they will so we will win.

Good luck to all!
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 28, 2023, 02:39:22 PM
Casinos are smart, and KYC can be implemented anytime, whether you win or lose, so it's not really a big factor.

Thing is, when you gamble in a casinos that are registered, you need to assume already that they will require a KYC, maybe not during registration but eventually that will come. Winning big might trigger the KYC requirement, so you should be ready with that. But since you have your own idea which I'm pretty sure none of us has experience that, so they could not verify.

Perhaps you should just try it on your own first, and who knows, you would be the one to give an answer to your question.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 28, 2023, 12:41:50 PM
result match inoue win with KO in ronde 10
but the match was very exciting and interesting
but tapales this boxer from the philippines is still outclassed.

I don't know what's wrong about tapales cause what I saw is the opposite of my expectations cause he is not just very aggressive cause he is always waiting the right time which is he control his punches he didn't throw so much punches  while Inoue punch him so much and in the round 4 we saw that tapales was hit a good shot and that's the reason why Inoue getting more aggressive because of that knockout.

When you listen to his statement before the fight, it seems like they have a secret strategy that would beat Inoue. However, just like the other boxers that Inoue beat, they are only good with talking but they don't do the action in the ring. Maybe Inoue's power is just too much, that he cannot take it, so he was very careful and that resulted him losing some of his confidence that's why he could not throw a powerful punches due to the fear that he might get open and will be KO when hit by Inoue's counter punch.

If only Tapales had the same power as Donaire, then maybe the fight would be more interesting, but you know, Donaire is unique, no Filipino boxer that has the same power as his.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 28, 2023, 12:03:06 PM
Dallas Mavericks VS Cleveland Cavaliers SCORE 110 - 113 - LOST

I really thought that the Dallas Mavericks could get this win because they had a great game from the start of the 1st half it was them that dominated the deep and the paint, but the Cleveland Cavaliers managed to get the lead against the Dallas Mavericks in the 2nd half of the game and it was really a close game but the Cavaliers is something and was hungry for the win it was an awesome game for the both of this teams but you can never know how the game will really end,

They choked in the 4th quarter, they had a long scoring drought in that game and that gives the Cavaliers to come back. Dallas are in control at the beginning but you can really never too sure, good thing I was able to bet on live and took a handicap for Cavaliers +4, I should have bet on the moneyline, but a win is still a win though, no regret.  Smiley

Tomorrow I will be betting on the Pacers vs Bulls over 241, Wolves -9.5, Memphis +7 and Lakers -13.
470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 27, 2023, 10:55:06 PM
I would also agree that the most difficult time in trading is when one takes its first move towards trading. The fear is there that anytime he will commit mistake and lose his funds eventually. The real challenge is how you start trading and apply your learned skills and strategies out from demo trading, and lessen the mistakes and losses, and instead encourage and maximize profitability.

However, we all know that beginner traders are mostly exposed on losses than gains, and that is normal for newbies in trading. But if they keep learning trading from various trade practices, they will gradually learn on how to trade and on how not to lose but make profits.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 27, 2023, 11:22:53 AM

I'm taking a two legged parlay,

Sacramento -6.5 against Portland + Memphis +5.5 against the Pelicans = 3.17.

Not sure though why Memphis is again the underdog in this game, or Ja Morant not playing here? He singlehandedly beat Pels with that buzzer before and they have been covering the underdog spread since Ja come back

When we are confident with the Sacramento as we thought they'll just dominate the home team and have a little doubt on Memphis but it was the opposite that happened. Memphis won in a close match, while Sacramento having a off night and loss by a huge margin, this is how risky parlay is.

473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 27, 2023, 09:27:37 AM

So this is what I like Inoue vs Casimero, biggest fight next year.

Inoue has not option now. Only Casimero the remaining Filipino fighter that he has not beaten yet. As per his record, he already beat 7 Filipino boxers, that includes Tapales on their last ifght, so if he wants to slay more, he need to add Casimero in the list.

I'm wondering what will be the betting odds when this two will face, I'm sure Inoue is still heavily favored, but I doubt he'll be -800 same with the odds we can get againts Tapales.

But what can he got from Casimero? Nothing right so for sure he will not be on list because Inoue camp and promoters always going after for big fight and maybe we can see him go up rather than fighting Casimero. If Casimero can get something from him then provably they will make it happen since I believe Inoue is also want to destroy Casimero since he is angry on his noise and taunting on social media. But Inoue's camp is smart and they always think what best for their fighter.

Inoue would not be getting anything as he is already the undisputed champion, if he win, that's just him successfully depending his belt. Although Akhmadaliev now has the better ranking as he is considered the mandatory challenger, but if you will compared Akhmadaliev fights to Casimero, the latter obviously has more quality fights, so that alone is enough reason on why fans would love to see the fight.

Quote
But if the fight against Inoue and Casimero will really happen I think Casimero don't have match on Inoue since first the main problem with this guys is lack of stamina and for sure Inoue's speed and power will be huge advantage with that.

Then Inoue has a more easier way of winning the fight. When Casimero beat Tete, Inoue didn't fight him, and now that his performance has declined, maybe he'll grab the chance of fighting him so the speculation will stop about him and Casimero.
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: December 26, 2023, 01:20:25 PM

And yes, it's a good partnership, between the two parties, and seeing Manny's face in BK8 promotion is huge already.

I've read mixed comments about this commercial in Facebook, and some are making a guess on what is BK8, they even make their own meaning about BK8, and for them it's "Boxing King, 8 Division champion". I laugh quitely while reading and I say to myself, they are genius because it does make sense.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 26, 2023, 12:19:00 PM
What is the current status of the tournament now?

I just check on their official website and the time countdown says 9 days and 19 hours for the next scheduled games.

Are we already in the elimination/ playoffs? If so, was there a teams that had been eliminated already?
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow the technique if you have zero trading knowledge in crypto on: December 24, 2023, 07:51:25 PM
These techniques will never be known and would hardly be understood if you have zero knowledge in trading. It takes education and good market assessment or analysis before you can start to trade, otherwise you are only trading for no significance. While trading needs more developed skills and strategies, patience and consistency in the market greatly matters as well.

That is why it's hard to teach certain techniques when you don't understand what you are doing in the first place. DYOR is the key.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if all Bitcoin is lost? on: December 24, 2023, 07:21:27 PM
What would happen if all Bitcoin is mined and all Bitcoin is lost?
Well, everything will be unspendable as they have lost their value and all bitcoin wallets and private keys will be useless. With that, people might be leaving bitcoin for good as lost bitcoins will be hard to recover again. Recently, there have been reported 3.7 million lost bitcoins and they will probably be lost forever. That's why as long as there are still bitcoins that are left for us, then we should take advantage while they're still intact.

However, for now it's hard to assume that all bitcoins will be lost. If that happens, I guess bitcointalk will never serve its purpose anymore.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to ride and stop! on: December 24, 2023, 03:30:56 PM
Sharing my recent juicy win using small bankroll below! At first I’m hesitant to ride but it takes courage to increase bet slowly especially if you have small bankroll.

As seen in the screen shot, you have $45 for total bet and $460.29 for balance, so I like to know, how much did you win in this game?

You claimed that you are using a small bankroll, if that is less than $100 and you increase your funds to over $400, then I would say you are extremely lucky and your strategy might be worth following.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 24, 2023, 03:09:45 PM
Those who are hoping for an upset here and has actually placed a bet for it will definitely enjoy the very high odds for Tapales. That's 8.60. If it is to be translated to the probability of Tapales winning this match, that would only be around 10% chance of winning.
That's 11.6% using https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator/odds-converter.html.

A very slim chance of winning, that's why it deserved a high payout, but honestly, even at the odds, if I'll bet on Tapales I wouldn't be too confident with my bet as I know how strong Inoue is. He can end this fight early if he will be more aggressive than usual, but knowing him, he has matured a lot and knows how to attack based on the right timing.

Honestly, I can't see how Tapales can upset Inoue. In terms of points Inoue is clearly more agile than Tapales so he could earn points easily. In terms of power Inoue is also more dangerous than Tapales. Tapales could even be knocked out in this fight.

If we don't believe him but we need to support him, it's advisable not to bet on the fight and just watch the game. At least, if he loss, we don't need to spend our money although we can spend a bit of emotion. Grin

I won't be betting in this fight. If I have to make a bet, it should go to Inoue, but it is almost not worth betting for him. With the moneyline odds of 1.04, who would grab that? Even if you go for the winning method to take advantage of higher odds, the probability is that you would go for Inoue by KO. And that's only 1.17. Even that is not worthy for me. I'd rather just watch the fight.

Still okay though. When you're in doubt, don't force yourself so you won't regret if the outcome aren't aline with your expectation. Just enjoy the fight, maybe grab some beer as this one sure not gonna be a boring one, for boxing that are boring, you grab coffee, this one it should be beer.  Grin

Not worthy for you but maybe others sees it as an opportunity, especially that 1.17, I think that's good enough though.

What I'm hoping for is that Tapales is 100% ready and that he won't be psychologically or emotionally affected by his opponent. If Tapales has 100% confidence in this fight, he will definitely be able to give a good fight. Even if he losses, at least he gives Naoya a run for his money.

That way Tapales has been showing up, he seemed to be confident but it's still different in the actual fight, so hopefully he will carry that confidence.
480  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 24, 2023, 11:03:40 AM
I'm pretty sure I've made this point already in this thread, but if you're gambling, you're likely hoping that you hit some crazy winning streak or maybe a monster win on a slot machine to make yourself millions right?  Well, if that's your plan then you have to assume that no casino is going to let you withdraw millions of dollars without doing some sort of KYC.  So if you're gambling without KYC for whatever reason and you aren't going to be able to provide that for whatever reason, you are limiting yourself to only losing.  That isn't a winning strategy in my book.

That's why its crazy to assume that a casino will not implement a KYC especially if this scenario comes to a player since for sure they would provably ask that so they can verify something to the winners side.

Also players should not expect anything like there's a casino will do a NO KYC thing in there casino since for sure all those casino claim thay they would not ask anything like that will implement this. Also for sure that they might get an issue on some jurisdiction that's why if they want to became legal with those country for sure they comply and if they will not do it then maybe there's something shady will happen on them.

It's easy to know if a casino would ask a KYC or not. Check if they have a license, if they do, then expect that they will require a KYC anytime soon because it's a mandate from their regulators to make their customers comply with the basic requirement, probably they would delay to some customers but they are still subject for KYC in the long run.

The only casino that would not require a KYC are those that are not regulated, but you know the inherent risk to that because when they aren't regulated, there's no assurance also if they'll stay in the business for long.

Tell me a non KYC casinos (non regulated) that are still operating now, and how long have they been operating?
